Simply a good product that does its job, I use it as a plug for my bathroom and have had no issues at all, great quality build and feels very well made

This is a decent, niceley robust extension cable/socket and feels very durable. The power switch is protected by a silicone switch cover for safety and the sockets do seem to be splash resistant. I have my doubts that the it is ‘waterproof’ (and have no intention of submerging it in water to test it) but I’m confident you could spill something on it or use it outdoors in he rain during a brief shower without shorting anything, The cable is pretty short at 1.8 metres, but overall this is a well made and sturdy item at a reasonable price.

Its a good extension lead however i wouldnt go as far to say its waterproof. Splashproof maybe but waterproof… questionable claim. I cant say i would test it under the sprinkler.

based on it as an extension lead it has a 6ft cable and 3 sockets with a separate power switch. Works well and does what we need it fo

This year, I’ll be using this extension lead outside in an enclosure to power our Christmas lights. The lead has a basicappearance and has an overload protectionon/off switch. It’s IPX4 waterproof, electric shockproof, surge protected, and has a fireproof shell. While I would not want to verify these claims or even consider performing a waterproof / shockproof test, I am confident that it will deliver on its promise. Watching the video on the product listing convinced me that it does what it is supposed to do. A 1.8 metre cable, in my opinion, is too short for this type of extension lead, especially if using outdoors.

Good but lead could be longe

I absolutely enjoy using this extension lead to power my LED floodlights. Looks safe, lays much better than a normal cord, and is well-made and waterproof. The quality is good, the length is perfect for where I needed it, and it seems to be durable and sturdy. Definitely recommended

I was looking for a power extension that I could use in the kitchen, and this looked like it could fit the bill. Out of the box it looks like an ordinary power extension lead, with the only visual difference I could see was the protective cover over the on/off switch.

Being used in the kitchen it needs to cope with steam, condensation and accidental splashes of water. For this it copes very well, and I had no problems or issues, when all the time all three sockets had been used.

There is a six-foot lead on the unit which personally wasn’t needed and was easily tucked away to save space. The sockets are spaced sufficiently wide enough to avoid any conflict between connected plugs.

This is described as a waterproof power extension lead and although I wouldn’t entirely envisage that this could be used in a water environment, I found it is more than sufficient to be used in a damp/moist environment.

When I first saw this extension lead that claimed to be waterproof I was, to say the least, intrigued. Prior to testing it I had been mulling over what would be the best way to check the ‘waterproofness’ of the product. Having been a careful type all my life, with ingrained rules about water & mains electricity should NEVER meet, it proved to be too much of a ‘leap of faith’ so I declined chucking water on the extension lead! I just couldn’t do it! So, I am sorry but I cannot vouch for the waterproof effectiveness… what I will say though is that because I don’t doubt that a lot of design and thought has gone into the design to make the extension lead IPX6 (it says IPX4 on the product page?) capable this would definitely be a lead I’d reach for if there was a chance of water being around. So, as a comfort factor alone the extra build features that give it the waterproof status is a very good thing.

The extension lead also is fitted with a Surge Protector and Overload Protection Switch, so clearly the safety aspects of this product are admirable.

The extension lead retails at around 19, so for a 3-way 6ft power cord it’s at the higher end of the typical price one might pay. However, when you factor in the major design features which are included I actually think that cancels out the premium price and in fact makes this product very good value for money. I am happy to give it a 5 Star rating if it prevents an accident on even one occasion. A very nice quality product.

I was going to test the waterproof qualities, but something within prevented me...

This extension lead does the job ok. It has some water resistance which means you can comfortably use it outside without having to worry too much about it raining however I would get it in as quick as possible if it were to start raining and wouldn’t want to leave it outside. I would comfortably use it however to leave it outside in a shed for example where water is possible but unlikely.

The only issue with this however is that the cable is quite short at 1.8m which means it is unlikely to reach a garden shed from a socket in your house. Also, there are only 3 sockets which isn’t great but is handy if you only want to plug a few things in at a time.

If you are looking for an extension lead to use in an environment where you are uncomfortable using a normal, non-waterproof extension lead, this will do the job however it is quite expensive at 17 for a 6ft lead.

Useful in Scenarios where Getting wet is Possible

I wanted this so that I could plug my outdoor lights in at Christmas time and not have to worry about the weather, rain in particular, causing damage to it. When my husband saw it though he said that it wouldn’t be waterproof once plugs are put in it and won’t risk using it for the lights. He said he could use it to power tools etc that he is using outdoors and that he would trust it to be water resistant long enough to get it indoors if it came to rain. So I guess that’s something.
I have convinced him to use it indoors though, to replace the power board that he has beside his side of the bed. He often knocks over his cup, thankfully never a full one, but with enough tea in it to worry me if it hits the power board. I have peace of mind that if a small spill occurs on or near this one it won’t cause any hazardous outcome. So I am still on the hunt for one for my Christmas lights, but at least I have a better one for indoors now.

    Strong and robust.
    Good rounded throughout.
As the power strip is waterproof, but not so sure that your socket is.
Do check before treating it as an electric box substitute.
The USB one is better value for money, would be great if they have individual switch.
Great for indoors use, and good for pump or aquarium, where water handling is more common.

Haven’t tried outside so can’t comment on that part.
    Is compact.
    Portable.
    Feels sturdy.
    Nice design.
I personally prefer electrical items from known brands but that is just my own personal preference.

This was brought for our trailer tent. Sometimes the rain comes in and the last thing we need is it touching the extension lead. this one is billed as waterproof, and I am itching to find out (accidently of course) if it is.

This is good and does what it says it does (to an extent – I haven’t specifically tested water resistance by pouring a jug on it but it has had some splashes from the bath and no issues) but as an extension lead it is limited as the cable is short of 2 metres.

As a source of more sockets however it is perfectly fine and has a rubber encased on/off switch which lights up when on. Appears sturdy and well made.

I use some electrical items, such as a heater and a dehumidifier, in the bathroom but there’s no socket so I have no choice but use an extension cable. This could be dangerous if it gets wet, you risk getting electrocuted. However, this Extension Lead is waterproof so it’s safer than using a standard lead. The cable is 1.8 m, not too long but just enough for my bathroom at least – would’ve liked it to be a bit longer though.

Well made. Heavy cable and nice smooth switch both suggest good build quality. Attractive black design fits in well in my room. Works as intended.

I really like the safety features of this 3 way extension lead , power surge safety protection and also said to be waterproof from spillages and accidents, I’ve not tested that but it’s a nice peace of mind factor to have.

I’ve tested it out and it’s working fine so I’m going to use this in the kids room due to the extra safety features for added peace of mind.

The 1.8m cable is plenty long enough to use with my youngest sons console , TV and lamp so I’m very pleased with this extension lead , it’s perfect for my sons bedroom entertainment set up.

Working perfectly as it should so far if that changes I’ll be sure to update this review.

Great safety features for power surge or spillages, added peace of mind.

Although I wouldn’t recommend using electrical devices in the rain this power strip by Clowfly does offer some safety features not found on many others and is splashproof to IPX4 standard. This UK-103 power strip is safely made to UKCA & RoHS — it features three UK three pin sockets and has a single master switch controlling all three — there is also another version with USB ports as well. This power strip can be used free trailing or more permanently wall-mounted depending on your needs — it has a six foot cable, a UK three pin plug and features a built-in 13A circuit breaker. We are using ours as a power extension in the garden, but it would be ideal for use in a kitchen or utility room because of the extra safety features. Currently around nineteen pounds from Amazon (the USB version is about a pound more) this Clowfly three way extension lead is more expensive than many others — but does include good safety features. If you need the IPX4 water-resistance and additional safety features then this product could represent decent value — otherwise you may find better value elsewhere — four stars.

    Waterproof Extension Lead.
I really should replace all my Extension leads with one of these just to be on the safe side. device features 3 Way Outlets, Power Surge Protection water and fire resistant shell plus a 1.8 Meter Power cord.

I should really replace all my extension leads with one of these.

It’s a really good quality extension lead and I’ll be using it for when I’m using power tools outside on my patio. I’ll be glad not to have to keep unplugging things when I change from drill to palm sander. Makes my life just a bit easier. The only thing I wish is that it had a longer lead but overall its excellent.

At the time of writing this review, this extension lead costs 18.99, which some may consider pricey as there are cheaper options for this type of product, but after testing this product I can vouch for its good quality.

The extension lead is also very compact, which makes it great for portable travel, which is why I have included this item in my everyday carry when travelling.

    Great quality extension lead
