Bought this jacket for walking my dog
Nice soft fleece inside and the soft shell outside is water resistant so far and windproof
I doubt it would hold up in a sustained heavy downpour, but I’ve got another jacket for that type of weather
Description says the hood is detachable, it’s not
The zip is on the wrong side and it doesn’t have a have a hook on the inside to hang it up

I bought this after sending 2 other different brands of coats back. This one didn’t have zips in daft places which let in the cold (such as under your arm pits or next to your elbow). I bought a large which was perfect for my 5’10 size. Its not the longest or largest Jacket, so I could see someone very tall finding this too short. The fit and hood are excellent – the hood stands when zipped, and keeps rigid in the wind. The pocket designs are also excellent and well placed. No coat is fully weather proof but this is very good overall both for the cold and the rain.
