I have it sitting next to my laptop as a 3rd screen (or sometimes just a 2nd screen).
All it needs is a the USB-C cable to the laptop to get both the video signal and power, so it’s not a cable mess on my desk. The screen itself is light and relatively thin, so I can easily carry it with me where I go. I’ve been working remotely abroad for the past 5 weeks, and this has made all the difference.
Picture quality is also really good. Admittedly, I’m not a screen expert, but I’m using this next to a macbook’s retina display, and I don’t feel much of a difference between the two.
I haven’t had a chance to try the screen without a laptop. Apparently you can use it with just a a regular HDMI cable or even to extend a screen from your phone (but will need to be plugged to a power socket)!! I’ll update this review if I ever get to try that.
Very decent bit of kit, zero flexing, metal chassis, can be powered from power banks, metal stand with stiff spring, metal buttons with nice click, almost zero control lag with touch control, this display can outperform most tv’s in terms of quality, so for gamers out there, its a no brainer.
It only loses point on 3 features, hdr with such a low brightness is pointless, and with the ports being on the side of the device reduces it usability, much better if they had put the ports on the back of the panel, finally, the inbuilt speakers are very quiet, my phones and tablets are much louder.
Apart from those points, its an impressive, portable touchscreen that excudes build quality.
I got this screen to use my ps5 to use on my travels it’s amazing the only thing is the hdmi cable that comes with it didn’t work and used the original ps5 lead and works wonderful
