Was concerned about the broadband frequency buy discovered all domestic broadband can be split to accomadate the camera. The picture is great, sound great and the filed of view is brilliant. I have no complaints and purchased another one for my mother’s house.
Had this camera just over 11weeks. Some issues with it. Cathy from the manufacturer sent a return label to send it back for a replacement. I will see how this goes and hopefully submit a full review in due course.
Can’t go wrong picture qty, very good night view v good can’t connect to DVR records ok to sad card be very careful when removing rubber bung fro RJ45 as pins bend v easy
AI detection, you can set it to detect even pets cars, packages. This camera really chases you when you are in its range. Very nice and new features. You control everything from your phone. No need to climb to adjust position.
Also customer service is great. Every question got response really fast. Buy with confidence,worth every penny.
A brilliant camara well build , can take time to set up unless urgent up to speed in this area. Picture very clear both day and night and lot of functions that does not need you to be connected to clouth. Great value for money
Poor instructions & Aside from a slightly challenging set up, eventuality resolved by using the on board wifi connection (would not initially directly connect to my home wifi).
The supplied power supply outer cover became detach after single use exposing bare terminals carrying mains voltage. Poor manufacturing control.
These issues were raised and resolved following contact with the manufacturer who (thanks to Ariana) promptly responded.
Bought this to keep an eye on my car’s parked around the back of my house at residential car park and it’s fantastic, puts my mind to rest so much, the picture quality is fantastic, and all the other features work great to such as motion detection it follows the person or object as it moves, in all a great camera and am going to buy more for the rest of my house to put my mind at rest when I’m at work all day or go on holiday, highly recommend this camera to others easy to setup and easy to use and for the price, amazing
Excellent camera and exactly what I wanted. Set up is quite straightforward and the image is very clear by day and night. Playback and built in security light are very useful. Highly recommended.
Picture quality is great, and really good zoom too… I had a little trouble setting up to view alerts, but the customer service was fantastic so I can now use my camera with confidence
Good little camera for the price, but just bear in mind the fiddling you may need to do to get it to work with anything other than the supplied app!
Brilliant product, simple setup, dedicated ad free app that is easy to use. Clear pictures day and night. The detection mode is great, makes it obvious that your being watched.
The connection tail is short and bulky coming out of the camera so if mounted externally it will require a waterproof box to hold the power/LAN connectors.
Compared to the other 3 cameras the colour and clarity are definitely better. the other 3 cameras are 7 years old. Working fine but this new one does show a difference.
So, very sceptical when buying this ( 1 item) initially… Could it be any good for less that 30?
Wow, literally wow… Yes it can and it blows other major brands out of the water that I have currently, bought as an add on for the garage / garden black spot and as you can see bought 2 more that arrived and are now going to replace the 2 outdoor ones I have currently on the house…

2 way audio (ok it’s not hifi quality but no camera audio ever is but it’s enough if needed for a deterrent)

Human tracking and mapping so doesn’t activate what you don’t need it to i.e pavements etc. And can set to not activate if a pet or similar goes past
Free app easy to use and free storage (can upgrade I think but I’ve not had to)
SD card storage locally too
Overall it’s very very good value and I’m from Yorkshire so trust me we are tight up here and look for a bargain and at twice the price this would be still excellent value

I’m fairly happy with the features of the camera and the app. If I’m going to be critical it would be of the app. It isn’t a pleasure to look at or navigate. I suppose once I’d become familiar with it I liked it better but it still reminds me of a poorly done website. Besides somehow lacking the polish of a nice site it also seems to lead to adverts for products and ‘gotchas’ requiring more money to pay for services like cloud storage or AI features.
The connectors are a matter of a few cm from the camera and are brought to attention of anyone who was looking by the sudden change from white lead to black lead. I mean, why not make the lead and power supply white to match the leads on the camera. Longer leads on the power supply would help too.
The local storage is on SD card. No card is supplied! THE FORMATING OF THE SD CARD , BEFORE USE, IS AN ISSUE. This turned out to be quite technical. The file system used by the card MUST BE FAT32. The problem is that whilst the maximum capacity of the compatible card is 128GB the maximum SDHC card size I think is 32GB. I bought SDXC cards (128GB). These come with a different file system getting technical enough? I used an online executable file to format the cards, using a laptop and a card reader, with the FAT32 file system. SEE:- Google, ridgecrop for the guiformat facility which is thankfully free.
I hope these opinions and observations are helpful.
I ordered this as I have one or two webcams that have so far been disappointing, and I hoped for better from this one.
It arrives in a nice sturdy blue printed cardboard box, with all the fittings required to mount it to a wall.
I duly fixed it up in my workshop, and after some slight problems managed to link it to my wifi (apparently it won’t recognise SSIDs with any kind of special character in them.
Use
I then moved it outdoors, mounted on the front of my workshop facing the road, and it has been there for a couple of weeks now. I drilled a hole big enough to feed all the cables through (25mm) then screwed it down in such a way as to cover the hole after feeding through the cables. The wifi works really well and it has been pretty good ever since, working whenever I needed to look outside in the nasty weather.
The picture is pretty good, although it gets slightly fuzzy when you zoom in, I think it is perfectly adequate as a security camera. One slight quibble – I wish i could turn off the infra red lights at night, they attract all manner of flying insects who swoop and fly around right in the lens, making it look a bit like a snowstorm. I don’t really need the infra red as there is a perfectly adequate street lamp lighting the scene outside.
Conclusion
On the whole I really like this – it gives a nice wide clear picture, and the wifi works on it without any problems, I can look at it while I’m away on the app on my phone and even move the camera around.
I didn’t try out the motion detection because that is a paid-for service, but accessing the cam live is free at all times, although, in common with many other services of this type you have to pay a subscription to store footage in the cloud for later access. (It is possible to store footage locally if you install a micro SD card inside the actual cam, which I haven’t, as yet, tried).
Not wireless as stated in add. But arrived quicker than expected.
12 is unbelievable value. It does the job, but not the crispest image, and I doubt it’s actually 1080p HD. Night vision flickers a bit, but you can make out things moving. You’re not going to identify people or vehicles, but you can check it and know nothing’s going on. Let’s see how long it lasts
The two camera are rated 5 star and operated very well on my duty.

I bought this to replace a broken camera on an older analog system. Has much better night vision than the original cameras and a much wider field of of view which is great. Can’t comment on its HD performance on a digital system but for what I wanted it is excellent value for money.

Brought this to replace one of my swan cameras, was presently surprised to find it played and recorded in colour when dark, the other ones just black and white when dark. The price was good.
Not a bad little camera. Quite a good image quality considering it’s not HD and it’s contrast is quite good. I will update the review when it has been installed and is used 24/7
Great budget CCTV camera for home security use. The picture is relatively clear and HD in daylight and still of reasonable quality at night. I would recommend using for capturing footage over short distances as the quality is reduced significantly with distance. The camera is constructed of metal and is great for outdoor usage, although the mounting arm is constructed of high grade plastic. Includes screws and wall plugs for mounting the camera. Only complaint is that the lead off the camera is on the shorter side, however this tends to be the case with most domestic CCTV cameras. Overall a great budget CCTV camera!
