What a great essential practice aid.
As the years go by my weight transfer has changed, this piece of kit really shows how far off my movement is.
A definite buy.
Cant complain. I have been taking golf lessons and although they are going well I am still struggling with club head movement on my follow through… Bought this just as a tool to use in the garden and to try and force myself to correct the issue. Seems to be working well as seeing the clubs movement pattern is forcing me to change the habit. For the price it’s a nice little teaching aid.
When I say this, I thought it was a gimmick. It is actually a very simply but effective concept of using sequence beads. Very cool! Overall, it is definitely a useful tool and will help hone in your swing but you need to put in the time. I do love it, it is definitely worth the investment to improve your swing with an iron or wedge. Great fun. Easy to set up. Great way on tracking your swing.
Got this initially to improve my golf skills. And i was amazed by the mat which provides great feedback for golf swings. It also has a highlighted guideline which tells you where to swing to get the most optimal power and speed along with ball accuracy. Furthermore, it comes with the option to pin the mat onto the ground to prevent it from moving from powerful swings. As a result I would highly consider this item to someone who is trying to improve their golf technique, and is compact enough to be taken anywhere for practice.
Bought for my teenage son who has just took an interest in golf and he said it was great and has spent lots of time practing.
I struggle to get out to the driving range and actually practice
Setting this up in either the garden or in my living room means I’m able to practice easily around the house when I have 10 mins free
Being able to practice daily, I’ve actually seen an improvement already when I’ve gone back down to the driving range. Would definitely recommend
I have been playing for over 20 years, and have a swing coach but this is probably the best training aid I have ever had. Great instant feedback without hundreds or thousands worth of equipment. Really has made a difference in my short game.
Thought I’d give this a try to check how I was swinging.
I kept slicing the ball so this was able to identify that I was swinging in to out.
This has been really helpful to adjust my swing and would definitely recommend, whether you’re a beginner or seasoned golfer.
Super easy to set up and works perfectly to improve my swing. Multiple coloured balls are provided and a nice pack away case for the mat. Velcro strips are also included so that you can secure the mat firmly to any surface. Very cheap and for the price it’s definitely worth the purchase.
Can’t fault the product. Works really well. Golf swing not so bad eithe
The mat lays flat even when it was rolled up during delivery. This is even without the support of the pegs and pinning it to the floor.
I do recommend using the pegs to stop it moving.
The pattern marking works great and will not turn in wind but easily turned with a finger or stroke of the club.
I’ve only used this once so far, with approx half an hour of practice. Overall, the visual feedback is good, especially for iron clubs as you can see where you’d take a divot. The only question mark is around durability. After half an hour of use, one of the metal rings used to pin down the mat has started to come away from the fabric.
I normally slice my shots so this will help hopefully. It is made based on the same principal of pillows with 2 sided sequins. i am not sure how long the surface and glue will last under the hit and pressure for the clubs but so far it’s ok and satisfying seeing my faults….
This golf training mat/pad is super quick and easy to set up and use; it’s inexpensive compared to branded equivalents or more technical/involved training mats; it is easily foldable and compact when folded, and overall a good buy for beginners wanting to improve their swing without spending a fortune!
I recently purchased this hitting mat and I am very pleased with the quality. When I opened it, I thought that it was smaller than I imagined it. But you don’t need bigger than this. No signs of wear or tear after many hits. The mat has a durable, weighted rubber backing that keeps the mat stable, and the hitting surface material is also durable and on impact feels very close to an actual fairway turf.
Overall it’s a great starter mat for the price.
I’m working on my swing path and specifically stop coming over the top. This is a great visual guide to help me with club impact and plane and works exactly as you expect. It’s does need to be pegged into the ground for risk of it flying off though, but these are supplied as well as some sticky tabs should you wise to stick to a hard floor.
Useful and would recommend for the beginner golfe
Golfers, are you tired of hitting the driving range and not seeing any improvement in your swing? Well, fear not because the Golf Training Mat for Swing Detection is here to save the day!
First of all, let’s talk about the swing analysis features. This mat not only helps you perfect your swing path, but it also helps you maintain the correct hitting posture. And let’s be real, we’ve all been guilty of slouching or leaning too far forward at some point. With the training mat, those mistakes are a thing of the past.
But it’s not just for the driving range. You can use it in your back garden or even in your garage for a quick practice session. And the divot feature means you can practice your iron shots as well.
So if you want to take your golf game to the next level, then give the Golf Training Mat a try. Your friends (and your ego) will thank you.
It’s a great practice pad! I was worried it would only last for a few dozen big hits. But I’ve swung it hundreds of times and it still gives me the input I need about the swing path. And when I smoothed it out (with a simple brush of the hand), it looked like new. If you want to learn how to hit the ball first and then learn the turf, this is a great place to lea
