I tried a few of this type of expandable hose before and to be honest, they were not very durable. The external fabric/material tore and the plastic tube inside broke which was impossible to fix. So I had to throw them away.

Despite the fact that this type of hose is not very durable, I do like them being light and easy to store. So I hope this one will impress me. This hose is expandable to 50 feet long. The connection to my garden tap was simple. I tested it out after connected to the tap and it was functioning fine, no leakage was detected yet. It’s winter time now so I don’t need to use it that much but I am keeping a star first as I want to see its durability when it is being used in the summer. I also hope the tape that came with the hose would be helpful on fixing any leaks.

For what we use it for, I can’t fault it. It’s small to store easily but expands to cover the whole garden. Very easy to set up and get using straight away, it has 10 different spray settings which are quick to move between depending on the use and there’s enough variety to suit almost every need. Overall quailty seems very good considering the price, especially since its much cheaper than near identical ones I’ve seen on the highstreet. Very happy with it, would recommend

This hosepipe states that its a 50ft when at full pressure, which for watering the flowers and occasionally cleaning the car. It also comes with a bag to keep it neeat, fitting and holder, whicxh is all useful.
The spray head has 10 different settings, so depending on what it is you are going to be using it for, there are plenty of options available to you.
Brass fititngs, so an adapter needed to replace my old well used other top brand hosepipe. It’s going to be great to loose the cumbersome hosereel ive had forever!
All in all its a nice compact decent looking/feeling hose pipe set, just need to test it properly once we hit warmer temps

I was a bit sceptical about this and even more so when it arrived. The hose is so small, light and soft with its warm cloth coating.

The brass attachments are good and solid and give a feel of quality and at first sight, the plastic green head seems to detract from the quality of the house.

The head however has many different settings and very pleasing like the settings are labelled around the rim.

I mentioned it was very lightweight, but it also feels small. However, then I remembered that it is expandable so now I put the hose to the test.

Following the instructions with the valve closed at the head end, I turned on the water and magically the hose began to rise like a snake and begin to get longer and longer. This is cool to watch, but instantly add extending the reach of the hose to twice its original length .

Turning on Spray, I tested out all of the spray options and was very impressed with the variety of different options. It’s a powerful spray and very quiet in operation.

Once finished, I turned off the water and was surprised how much water came out of the hose as it’s shrank back to its original size with a fair force of water spraying out as it did so.

Once empty, it was a simple task to coil it up and hang it for later use. It’s surprisingly lightweight and can be hung on pretty much anything.

All in all, I am very impressed with this product. I love it for its light weight, flexibility, the fact it doesn’t kink, and I also particularly like the soft outer coating, though I can’t vouch for the durability of it yet. It’s also great value for money and perfect for anyone who doesn’t want the hassle of storing a large, heavy traditional hosepipe.

    Amazing.

This hose is expandable, easy to store, and compared with a traditional hose pipe, it adopts repairable technology.

It has a -inch brass connector and a female connector at another end. Aside from that, it comes with 10 patterned-nozzle which are widely used for gardening, cleaning pets and washing cars, etc. The hose extends up to 50 feet and has a maximum pressure of 12 bars.

I particularly like how expandable it becomes and able to handle high-pressure bars. This is very handy whenever I wash my car allowing me to finish quickly. I also appreciate that it can be squeezed together tightly without losing the original state, making it very easy to store.

For the most part, it is a decent hose and a good choice not only for washing cars but also for watering plants.

This arrives in its own storage bag which is really handy for putting it away if the hose is not in use, in the winter, for example. This is a 50 foot long flexible hosepipe which shrinks to a compact series of loops when the tap is turned off and the pipe emptied. It comes with accessories including spare tap sealing washers, spray gun and a storage bag.

I have found it nicely compact in use when compared with a normal type of hosepipe, and there is no need to wind it up after use. It has some sort of flexible inner pipework with a nylon-type smart looking outer cover which feels hard wearing for around the garden.

Good quality, sturdy enough and good price. Easy to use and hold. Can expand twice his length not x3 as described. From the tap water to my gardens fence is 99ft (30 metres). If it was x3 expandable this was supposed to be 45 metres when full of water but is going only 30.Thank you

Good quality hose, we’ve been looking for such thing for some time now. The hose is straighforward to use and it retracts to around 25ft. We got it specifically for the garden, but with such length I’ll be able to reach the car at the back of the property!
It has a dedicated hanger so the hose so it doesn’t have to be thrown at the floor and the hanger will prevent any accidental damage. Recommended!

Exactly what we've been looking for!

Given that it is currently raining every day I haven’t got to try this hose out yet, but it seems to be of decent quality. I have had expanding hoses before where the inner hose has perished but this appears to have a stronger core than them.

The connectors are all brass so will be a lot more durable than the plastic I have had before.

The downside is that the connection to the tap is screw-on. This makes it a bit more of a faff if you do want to take proper care and disconnect the hose when not in use. Strangely, the plastic bag it comes in had diagrams that suggest the fitting does have a push-in connector but that is not the case.

Otherwise this is what I would expect: a compact hose that expands when full of water, and a head with an assortment of different jets. There is also a tap at the head end which gives you the option of using this as a plain hosepipe without a flashy head attachment.

    Good quality

The way this hose expands is very convenient in use. Despite warning I did use successfully with pressure washer. Quality fittings and it all goes away for easy storage. Better than ay hose I have had before.

I do like an expandable hose as I find them much easier to store. This hose expands to 50ft length which is great for me and will allow me to easily water all of my plants in the summer without going back and forth with a watering can.

The hose comes with all the necessary fittings to attach it to your tap on one end, and the provided spray head on the other end. The spray head is as good as my previous leading brand one which I had for years before it finally gave up the ghost. It has 10 different spray settings which I’m sure is more than enough for most.

The hose itself appears to be good quality. Overall, I can think of no complains with this hose set so I can’t give it any less than 5 stars. Happy to recommend

The quality of this hose for the price is great – it’s very well made good quality.
It’s nice and compact and a great space saver. It has a great range of spray settings which is
I’ve only used it once to test it out so I can’t comment on its durability but if first impressions are to go by, I think it will last a good long while.
Really pleased with, its fantastic value for money and and I would be happy to recommend

This type of hose can be very effective as it extends as the water passes through. You may not always need the full 50 foot every time you use it, though!

I use it in the back garden for whatever jobs require a garden hose. I am less enthusiastic about using it to clean the car with brush attachments simply because the brass fittings could cause paintwork damage. This by no means is a criticism of this product, simply a reflection of my own preferences. Indeed, the brass fittings will last a lot longer than the plastic connections I normally employ.

Fitting push-on connectors is simple enough, just look out for an adapter in the range you favour. The threads are 3/4ins BSP (British Standard Pipe), standard on most UK garden hose systems. I use the Hozelock 2170P9000, making the entire system extremely flexible and able to operate my existing sprinkler and window-washing equipment.

These expanding hoses are very useful, for a start it is always amusing to see how much they grow when they are pressurised by the water flowing through them, but more importantly, because they can be scrunched up into a very small space when they are not in use they are very easy to store.

This one comes with screw fittings at each end, one for the tap end and the other to attach the provided spray head, it would be nice if there were push fit adapters as well, to make it compatible with other accessories, like a pressure washer for example, but as a set it works very well.

The spay head supplied has ten different spray patterns, so there should be one to suit everyone’s water pressure and requirements, personally I only ever use one or two patterns, but I am sure that other people will find uses for the other patterns.

The hose itself seems to be well made and high quality, but it is difficult to be sure as it is almost impossible to see the inner construction and materials. The description does claim that it is repairable, meaning that the end connectors can be removed, a damaged portion of the hose removed and the end re-assembled, however having taken one apart before, it is a very fiddly procedure to put it back together, so this would only be worth trying if the hose has been punctured and would otherwise be scrap.

This 50ft (expanded) hose is priced at 24.09, which is good value when compared with similar products sold elsewhere in the UK, by JML for example, although it should be noted that they do have the push fit connectors.

Although I have a similar length traditional hose on a cart, I actually prefer to use this hose, it is easier to use and move around.

Only down side I’d say is if you got other equipment you want to connect to I don’t know if the ends that come with this would fit and can only connect to the tap and the other to the gun but apart from that really really happy with it, long enough and saves up space, easy to fold, love the different modes you can switch to on itamazing!

Very strong and useful and don’t take space up

    non slip handle
great for car washing, gardening etc

Great hose set. It’s one of those that expands as water works through it. It’s weird but somewhat entertaining to watch. You start off thinking the hose is way too short, but then it grows substantially. The brass fittings at each end are good quality and I was able to screw the hose onto the tap in our communal bin store. It also has a hanger which is super cool. It slips over the tap and acts as a decent hanger for the hose. No need to drill and set up a bracket. The matching green spray attachment is nicely adjustable and flexible to use with a good trigger. You can also turn the hose off at the out end rather than have to walk to the tap. All in, for me, this is an entirely practical and well-priced hose that’s easy to recommend 5*****.

This expandable hose lacks some of the features of other garden hoses of a similar type though this is reflected in the lower price of this hose.

The most notable missing feature for me is the push-fit connector, which this hose does not have. This means the hose has to be screwed onto the tap and off again if wanting to use the tap just as a tap!

However, the hose can still be joined to a similar hose as the male and female fittings are the same size. They might, given it is necessary to screw the inlet of one hose to the outlet of the other hose provide a better joint than a push-fit connector.

The spray head has all the same spray features as more expensive similar hoses with the addition of a small clip that enables the spray head to be kept in the open position without the need to apply pressure on the handle. This will save aching forearms on a long summer watering session.

The spray head does not have its own switch to turn the water on and off, but the valve, the spray head screws into, has a closing value built into it.

Another useful feature of this spray head is the ability to set the water flow with a screw turn value.

Overall, while missing the push connectors this is a good value-for-money hose set.

    But what is Fet?

Just missing push connectors! But what is Fe

This hose comes well presented with everything you need to connect up to an outside tap.

    What’s in the bag?
The hose, in bright green for maximum visibility.
A large plastic hook for hanging either by you tap or elsewhere for storage.
    A storage bag.
A spray head with multiple settings.
Brass fittings on either end of the hose.

This hose is very good quality and for anyone that wants and alternative to the hard plastic hoses it is a good choice. The hose itself is soft and malleable and can be packed into quite a small space for storage. When pressurised with water it extends to it’s full length and becomes much more rigid.

The hose has a 3/4″ standard brass threaded connector on each end. One end connects to your garden tap, the other to the spray head. I found that the isolator valve on one end of the hose was a nice touch as it allows the spray head to be removed and exchanged for say a sprinkler without turning off the water.

The spray head has multiple nozzle settings to give many spray patterns. When used with the hose I found no leaks, the use of the PTFE tape when screwing it to the hose helped with this.

The large green storage hook is a good idea if you want to keep this as a permanent fixture in your garden however in winter it is advised that you drain the hose to prevent frost damage. This is important as it is more susceptible than a regular hose pipe.

Verdict: This is a good quality hose similar to the offerings by JML and others. It has all the fittings necessary for replacing a normal hose. It stores away small if you don’t have a garage or shed.
Can’t see any faults with this item and it is good value for money.

This hosepipe set is a good size 50ft when at full pressure, which is enough for my needs of watering the flowers and occasionally using it for my car and it comes with a carry bag, fitting and holder, which is handy.

The head has 10 different settings, depending on what it is you’re using it for, so there are plenty of options.

I’ve had hoses like this in the past that have started leaking and dropped in pressure after a month or two, so I’m hoping this one does a better job.

All in all it’s a decent hose pipe set that works as expected.

I hope you found this review helpful.
