As other users commented, I bought this set for the white disk replacements for my ps4 with bad left stick drift.
At first, I tried cleaning the original controller and part, but part of the sensor was missing from one side of the original white disk/sensor. BTW, the white sensors are sensitive and can easily break; be careful when handling.

Taking these parts apart and replacing the white disk from the PS4 controller was easier than cleaning the part. I couldn’t find just 1 white disk to buy, but figured with this pack I wouldn’t run out of white disk.

I did NOT try to replace the whole joystick; you would need more tools and to solder it. After taking this new part apart, I can agree with other users that they’re definitely not the same quality as the originals, and I think if you were to replace the whole part you would be disappointed with the drift/sensitivity. Noticeable differences in quality of parts.

I only used 1 of the white disk inserts to replace the old part. 10/10 recommend; easy fix.

These are exactly as the oem and perform as well, but that also means that if you play like me pressing a little harder than normal they wear out the same. That’s why I bought the reinforced ones for me and these for every other person.

They worked well. I followed a YouTube video on replacing the joystick from the motherboard and does require some soldering.

It did fix my joystick drift issue. However they do feel different then the original joystick. Slightly faster with less resistance which took some getting usto. But after playing a bit I got usto them and it’s working fine for me. Some of them had bent pins, so I was able to fix them by carefully bending them to straighten them out.

Usato per sostituire la levetta analogica sx in quanto presentava problemi di drift durante il gioco.
Simile all’originale, ci vuole un po’ di manualit nel cambiare il pezzo.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThe actual potentiometer is terrible. Goes full tilt with the slightest movement, so games where you can walk by slightly pressing down the stick will make your character move at full speed.

Instead, remove the pots, take the wiper insert out, and swap THAT into your drifting controller. I’ve fixed an Xbox Elite Gen 1 controller and four PowerA Switch Pro GameCube controllers using this method. Stick drift is completely eliminated, no soldering required.

I bought these to try and fix a couple of controllers I have lying around due to the dreaded stick drift.I have no experience soldering and thought it would be fun.

These pieces fit perfectly within the Xbox one controller.

On gamepad tester they don’t move as smoothly as the original component and they don’t feel as good to use but are still useable, also on gamepad tester they aren’t aligned perfectly, I might be nitpicking, but they work well with no stick drift.

I must put as a side note that I haven’t used the controller for a prolonged period so I’m not sure if they will hold up over time.

I purchased these after I had drift in my left joystick. I had ordered some from Aliexpress, however it will be a while until I receive those. I purchased It Takes Two for my PS4 to play with my girlfriend, and didn’t feel like waiting on my other ones from Aliexpress. I replaced that stick, and all seems to be well.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI was successful to fixing the stick drift on my Xbox Series X controller. For those repairing their stick drift, I went into this knowing I could mess up my controller my first time doing this, and was ready to buy another controller if I failed. Surprisingly I succeeded and learned how to do this now. Learn daily and stay safe. Also youtubers are saying to take out a grey piece on the stick. DO NOT do that, I was lucky I was able to snap mines back on. That grey piece is there so your stick doesn’t wobble and jam around with the new plates. How do I know? I learned from my experience, and mistakes.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI purchased this pack of analogs because it’s basically 12 potentiometers, unless you actually wanted or needed to replace your whole analog. A 12 pack of the potentiometers was the same price, so this seemed like the better value.

I was skeptical at first but now after replacing potentiometers in 2 controllers and mitigating my stick drift, I’m sold on them. Not sure how long it’ll last, but I’ll be back to update this review when/if the drift returns.

I used the potentiometers on an Xbox Elite V2 and an original Xbox One controller and they worked for both.

I can’t vouch for the whole assembly’s functionality, but I will say that these arrived with bent pins on some of them. Easy issue to solve, but still not something that one should have to deal with when it comes to a new part. These shipped in a bag within a bag, and nothing to protect them. Not the best practice, but as I said, aside from some bent pins they all seem to work so far.

I game a lot, and so do my kids so we know what a controller stick should feel like. After my kids tossed our controllers on the floor a gazillion times we needed to replace the controllers. This was a cheap experiment that turned into me replacing 6 controller sticks and the kids complimented how smooth they were.

I’m glad I bought two packs as honestly they are great.

As noted in other reviews, you can use this product to replace the small disks, without having to de-solder the old joystick and re-solder the new one. Worked great! Now if they’d only sell the little disks instead, it would be even better!

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI harvested one of the potentiometers from one of the controllers to replace the bad part on my oldest boy’s PS5 controller that had left stick drift. I only had to worry about desoldering three pins instead of a hundred LOL. The potentiometer is a drop in replacement being of the same color and apparent quality. My oldest boy says his controller works as good as new now and I trust his 17 year old judgement on these things.
So instead of desoldering the whole unit just replace the bad potentiometer since you have twelve to choose from should you be unlucky enough to find a bad one you are bound to find a good replacement and as I said it fits perfectly so there’s no cutting and resizing to make it fit on your stick controller module and three pins are better than a dozen.
I am happy with my purchase and so is my oldest boy and I’m prepared now to repair my youngest boy’s PS5 controller parts should it get stick drift.

Golden Review Award: 16 From Our UsersIn my experience PS4 model CUH-ZCT2U Dualshock controllers lose sensitivity on the left joystick – especially forward motion. This isn’t surprising since this is the most frequently used gesture on the stick and consequently the most significant wear point on the joystick forward/ backward motion potentiometer. This results in such symptoms as no forward motion, stuttering forward motion, and L2 causing incorrect forward motion. This can drive you nuts when your mega-duking it out with your favorite foes.
I did not replace the entire joystick – that requires desoldering the old joystick from the mobo and soldering the new one in place. Unless you are VERY good at doing this you will destroy the mobo. Instead, you can open the joystick potentiometer without removing it from the controller motherboard and simply replace the disk. There are many tutorials on the web which provide detailed instructions for this procedure. It is straightforward but it does require you to be meticulous in disassembly and use an organized workspace.
These disks are not 100% identical to the originals. There are some visible slight differences. But they do fit and motion control seems to be the same. The enclosed photo shows the original disk on the left and the replacement on the right.
After cleaning the left joystick pot casing and replacing the disk forward/backward joystick sensitivity has returned, drift has been eliminated, and the annoying erroneous forward motion from the L2 button is gone. Initial testing is good. Still TBD is testing under heavy gaming conditions and how well it will wear. But so far, very good. I brought two malfunctioning controllers back to life with a little time and patience and for less than 10 bucks.

Good replacement potentiometer disks for the Sony PS4 CUH-ZCT2U Dualshock wireless controller.

I had a DualShock 3 controller that had a joystick that was sticking and binding at the edges of its range of motion.

I was able to just drop these in place and replace the malfunctioning joystick. Haven’t done much testing yet, but a tentative test (just to see if they worked) in a game indicates that they work well. I will try to remember to update this review once I’ve played some games with them installed.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersFor some reason I strangle my controllers like a deranged killer while playing pretty much any game. I therefore destroy joysticks at a rate of about 2-3 per year. No controller can withstand my deathgrip.

Finally, I was able to identify a controller (Xbox One Wireless) and joystick (this product) which would allow me to go through joysticks without destroying the environment or bankrupting myself.

I just got around to my first joystick replacement and found the controller came apart easily and- more importantly- went together back easily. I did it with a thick, hot solder tip and a nice solder sucker. Each pad was sucked dry on the first try and the solder melted quite easily. Seriously easy solder job with no copper braid necessary.

What to do when your son comes to you and says that his L3 button does not work and he can’t play Fortnite, well, you come to Amazon and purchase this pack.
Not sure if they are originals or not but they look identical to the part they replace. However, a word of warning, the switch that is install in the Dualshock is VERY difficult to desolder and you will need desoldering station or sucker to remove it, or at least I did.
This replacement slotted straight in and now L3 button is working again and there is no ghosting whilst playing. I found that it is slightly stiffer than the one it replaces, however, not sure if this is due to the older one being softer due to wear and if this one will be the same in a few months.

I brought these to fix bad drift in my PS4 controller, they worked perfectly but not with out a few difference’s the main one being that these are a bit stiffer then really PS4 analog sticks but work just as well, they do take some getting use to but the only time i really notice the difference in when moving the curser around the map screen as it very jerky and you cant do small movements well but still will take this over my character slowly moving on they own any day.
One big word of warning for any amateur DIYers who is think of doing the repair themselves, take your time! Getting the solder off the part is a big pain and will take time, also be careful as I manager to damage the board on mine and now one of my vibration motors has stop working.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersMy official Xbox One controller developed the dreaded stick drift on the left thumbstick causing unwanted forward inputs, I tried all the YouTube quick fixes with no success…..cut a long story I’ve basically done the same as above post by Old Romans and just replaced the white disc (many thanks)
I tested the controller on a gamepad tester website where all the inputs are measured via a cross hair display, the new sensor is still a little off but not enough to cause drift so I’m happy to have saved s not having to replace the controller…. with that I can recommend these sensors in the way I have used them.
    Its worth a go 🙂
