I got these as I have a 3d printer where the ambient temperature and humidity matters. they are extremely easy to use – it has a single control, do you want the temperature in C or in F, thats it.
the LCD is clear, very easy to read and a decent viewing angle, have on in the cellar, one in the hallway and one in the office. they basically just sit there doing a simple job and doing it well.
I have no idea how accurate they are but have no reason to doubt the readings and to use as an indication only they are perfect.
so far the only niggle has been having to change the batteries in less than two months as the display faded, hopefully thats just the supplied batteries being rubbish though. batteries will need changing at some point anyway so not a huge issue
It is a good product, and the discount was appreciated in the ‘cost of living crisis’. I put one by my front door hall way, in the living room and in the conservatory. As we are having a bit of a heatwave it would be good to keep an eye on the humidity. I like the smiley face, as I can see it as a glance. It coulddo with a light as if you are in a dark room with poor lighting is a bit hard to read. I put them in the lighter areas.
