I prefered this over the Tissot PRX 35mm. I just dont like the tiny date window on the Tissot. This is a 34mm silver dial quartz with a slightly domed sapphire crystal with 100m water resistant . Solid case and bracelet. I tend to lean towards small watches like vintage sizes so Im happy with the purchased.
This is a beautiful watch with quality features such as sapphire glass and a screw down back. It is also water resistant to 100m. Keeps perfect time and quartz so remains accurate, but automatic is available too. Would have been perfect with a screw down crown, but I can’t imagine many would go diving with it in any case. This 34mm version is true to their original 1970s watch and can easily be a unisex watch unless you have a massive wrist (in which case you should go for their 41mm version) and can be compared to the Tissot PRX 35mm in gold, but for half the price! I would highly recommend it.
A beautiful well crafted watch by accurist a lovely diamonte ladies watch that fits well and sparkles well too. The hand dials are so well made and has a glow in the dark feature perfect to read the watch during the night. My favourite design has to be at the back of the watch as it shows the icnic london skyline a great tribute to london iconic buildings.
The first thing to be aware of with this Accurist Origin 32mm Quartz Watch is that sizing because it might look like a full-sized man’s watch in the photos above but it’s been resized to suit smaller and/or more feminine wrists. It’s got a cool retro ‘boyfriend’s watch’ styling to it but the overall sizing is smaller and the wristband isn’t really that generous even for a woman’s watch. It comes in a somewhat over-sized and over-designed presentation wallet inside a Accurist branded box (inside a card sleeve) all of which seems a bit unnecessary but would certainly help make it a lovely gift. Secreted in the box lid is an easily-missed card to remind you to register and activate your 5-year guarantee.
We chose the Light Blue/Blue Strap option and it’s definitely got a cool vintage styling with the faux-croc leather strap and chunky case. It’s not the daintiest woman’s watch and isn’t meant to be but if you’re used to something sleeker you might find it a bit bulky at first. It’s very nicely made and well finished and a step up from most fashion watches but the (full retail) price seems slightly steep, maybe that case has more impact on the price than it should? Really nice watch if you enjoy the vintage styling, but be aware the strap is a bit short.
For day to day use, that looks decent but I don’t have to worry about being damaged etc – this appears to fit that bill.
Pros
Elegant clear watch face
Affordable price
Good value for money
Cons
Steel bracelet looks OK but feels cheaper than the rest of the watch – I have replaced with a different strap
No lume on dial so no glow in the dark to check time at night – omitted to keep costs down
Face scratches easily and I have already dinged it – assume it is mineral glass rather than Sapphire – again this is down to price point
Really pleased with the look and quality of this watch for the money. Proves you don’t have to spend lots for a good timepiece!
Early days, but appears to be keeping perfect time.
This timepiece is definitely luxury without the price tag. It is made from premium quality materials and designed in the UK. Now, what’s not to love?
It is water resistant to 100m so can be worn whilst swimming or diving. The watch has a round face and the case is rose gold plated stainless steel. The dial is made from scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass. This timepiece oozes luxury and style. This would make a lovely gift, especially with Christmas looming on the horizon.
