Easy to assemble, easy to fold away in the bag provided. My daughter uses this on her camping trips and loves it. Nice way to spend an evening sat around the fire.
Bought this for our camping trips not only can you bbq on it, it also becomes a fab fire pit to toast marshmallows on on a cold evening
Bought this for bonfire night so only used it once but was impressed how good it was for the price. Was easy to set up although wish the grilling tray was better secured. Was surprised to find that the outer rim remained cool when in use making it safer, just need to be careful if using on grass as will scorch grass as sits low to the ground.
Love this fire pit and we’ve had bbqs on it too. Brilliant for camping and taking away with us as it folds away really easily.
Really good appliance for camping trips! We used it as a bbq and also a fire pit. Quick assembly, so issues
Perfect pack away BBQ and quite social as can sit around it while cooking
Pretty pleased with this. Love the pop up legs & foldaway option. The grill is cheap. It took over and hour to be ready to use, will be getting gas next time! But pretty happy and nice that it comes with a lid, good to have as an option for an open fire
This was bought as a present, it is perfect , we were well impressed, so we’re the people we bought it for .
Although the product is good the condition it was delivered was not. One of the legs was not fixed and loose in the box, also we had to search the packaging for the missing screws and nuts which were loose in the box. This is really not good enough.
Very easy to assemble..didn’t have to tighten anything up as mentioned quite a lot in previous reviews. Quick and simple to use and comes with a carry bag. Would agree with another customers review that it’s best to drill a small hole in the centre to let the rain water drain.very pleased with the purchase
Brilliant as a BBQ and as a fire pit, we tested ours in the back garden before our summer of camping trips and it’s functions brilliantly. Simple to set up, easy to clean after use and packs away neatly in its bag. Great for the price.
i have been using the fire pit a lot although to get could coals in order to cook the bowl could do with being a bit deeper other than that all good ( when i say coals i mean from the fire wood )
Very easy to put together and use, great for the price. These pictures are our first try before we bring on holidays during the summer. Surprised with the quality. Its well worth the price
Only small but it’s brilliant value for money and it comes with a little bag for carrying it to the beach or camping , or wherever ever ! Also a plus point for me was the face you didn’t have to put anything together
Can’t go wrong for the money
Much bigger than I anticipated so I am pleased about that. Just went through a 6 day power cut due to a storm and this would have been just the job for my cooking instead of having to buy takeaways and throw away all of the food in my freezer. Since I live near a forest I could easily get the wood to burn and get some fire lighters to start the blaze. I don’t think I will be going camping anytime soon and so in the summer it would be nice to use this in the garden. I am very happy with this product.
My fire pit just arrived. Really good size, some can be small, and very good value! Foldable and with a carry case. Cannot wait to try it, but not quite ready for outdoor living in February!
What to say. I AM THE GOD OF HELL FIRE AND I BRING YOU.
This awesome fire pit!
I was worried it was too flimsy to cope with the amount of heat I was going to subject it to.
No problem for this! It took everything I burnt on it.
Beckon it could cope with the heat from a small tactical nuke tbh.
Total value for money.
Buy buy buy!
We used it twice before the weather turned. Easy to put together and use. Be mindful that you need to have some form of protection for your grass if you use it on your lawn.
Bought this to have down the allotment. Great bit of kit for the price. Had a few uses out of it so far. Still looks as good as new! The only down side was the bolts that hold the legs in were a bit loose so had to tighten.
Great fire pit, it bigger than I thought so it gives you plenty of heat, it is a little unstable, but not a big deal. Very easy to use and clean after use, the carry/storage bag is a great idea. Definitely worth the money and I’d recommend i
Arrived fully built you just un do the legs, this fire pit is a lot bigger than we expected but great, lovely surprise to be able to use it as a quick BBQ too. Great value and this will last years if looked afte
Very good value for money. Isn’t the most sturdy fire pit you can get, but it certainly does the job for a great price. Don’t leave it out in the rain as the cage covering and the grates will start to rust. Thankfully it comes in a good carry case for easy storage. Would highly recommend!
Only arrived a few days ago, and it hasn’t been used yet.
I like that the item is so easily foldable and storable, and in my opinion is a good size and value for the money.
However, the one I got had 3 areas on the rim of the pan which were very badly grated and not properly enamelled and these will require to be ground down to a smooth finish to avoid injury when handling.
Wonderful bit of kit – as other reviewers have mentioned tighten up all the bolts before use, and yes it will rust if left outside – it is not cast iron or stainless steel so once the paint has burnt off, of course it will rust! Drilling a hole in the centre of the fire pit to allow rain to drain will prolong it’s life if left outside, but otherwise just expect it to rust and empty water out on a regular basis – or store it inside.
If you’re thinking of getting a fire pit, get this! Don’t even check any others, I had looked at so many online, if they had a bbq grill etc and even more expensive ones but they weren’t as big,and the reviews were not great, this is really big in diameter, there’s no assembly it’s ready to go, it’s perfect! A fire pit and bbq in one. Just order it you won’t regret i
I bought this Fire Pit more to use as a BBQ.
It arrived quickly and in one box, it was very easy to get going, the legs are folded down with locking pins which you just need to pull out.
I had to tighten up all of the nuts as they were quite loose and it was wobbly before I did this.
I used to cook on a Gas BBQ so it was a new experience fir me and we had quite a bit of smoke, but I think there are materials you can but which gives off less smoke!
The grill has a handy hatch in it so you can poke your coals 🙂 and it has a nice mesh cover to try and stop any embers escaping or random guests plunging into it.
Good for the price although I think it probably made me unpopular with the neighbours, but I do have a back garden the size of a modern day car 🙂
I compared a dozen pits in B&Q , Wickes, Home base etc and at 50 pounds or more all their products were inferior…… i.e. no cover or no bbq rack etc. I looked on Amazon and saw this item. I thought its too cheap to be any good…….. How wrong I was. This is one of those little gems you stumble across every now and again which sends a little thrill of satisfaction when it’s assembled and you can appreciate how much work somebody has put into its design..
This is a beautifully designed item . It’s easy to assemble and is lightweight. It’s legs are secure when in use but they can fold away neatly using a simple springloaded clip to allow it to be packed away into a compact bag. With 2 sturdy wire racks one for wood/charcoal and the other for BBQing it can be used in the garden or on the beach as a firepit or a bbq. It even has a poker and a good quality cover to prevent sparks …… or kids reaching into the device
If you’re planning to keep your pit in one place on the patio forever buy a heavy cast iron fire pit (most don’t have a bbq rack) ……. but if you want a portable item that’s well constructed and has all the required features…. this one is the best I’ve seen.
