Absolutely great induction hob can’t believe the speed it heats up and how hot the cooking temperature is have to tutor down to 80 or 90 degrees C for best cooking results really love this cooke
I’m surprised on how good this is. This was supposed to be a quick fix until I buy a full kitchen but I’ll keep it for much longer. Does the job perfectly well
It is a reliable and good looking induction cooker I had even own. We love the thin design which can save lot of space. The 2000w power makes it a very fast heating a 26cm pot! Great job!
Not only does the design is elegant ( enhance the kitchen look) but customer support is commensurate .
My unit after working well for almost 2 years experienced some problems ( cooking stopped for no apparent reason on my 1800w plate). It was easy to contact customer service ( prompt reply). After some back and forth exchange involving them studying a video of the issue in their professional technical department, they decided to replace my unit which I did not expect.
It was a welcome no hassle response to my troubles.
Definitely recommend.
Great value and works so well. Easy to use and no need to read a confusing manual. The temperature is easy to set and easily raised or lowered with a touch. I don’t hesitate to recommend this induction hob. It has a neat slim design too!
I have had mine for a few months now and it sat in the box for ages until I used it . I am so impressed with this heating plate. It is easy to use. Very fast at cooking. You can use a timer, you can have high or low heat. It is very safe and will not switch on until a pan is placed on the hob. Its super easy to clean as well and looks just as good with lots of use as the first time I used it. Very happy.
We bought this as a second hob after we had difficulty controlling the temperature on our other one (Tefal) for simmering. The AMZCHEF looks very good and is easy to clean. It is lower in height than the Tefal and is very sturdy. Temperature control is excellent and simmering is easy and reliable. We are delighted with this and highly recommend it.
I purchased this AMZCHEF Single Induction Cooker back in February 2024 and thought i will give a fair review now rather than out of the box. The digital control panel is intuitive and simple to use. This boils water quicker than my kettle from a cold start in my cast iron Le Creuset Pan. It has been used daily for over three months now.
I use small pans and a large frying pan regularly and the heat distribution is just about on point but stirring a chilli con carne is a must to move around the pan for the optimum heatspot, on this particular large frying pan i use it does not cover the whole circumference of the base of the pan, but its no drama if your pan is good quality as the heat will distribute itself.
The timer is handy and cuts all power off so no risk of over cooking. It simmers perfectly for me, and the lower heat around 500w (watt) is a nice slow cooking heat. You can also choose to use Celius if thats a more familiar heat measurement.
It feels really well made and good quality. I wipe it down immediately after use and i can say that it has no pan burn marks on it, it still looks like new. Overall i am very impressed and hope to get a nice lifespan from it. It has been worth every penny.
This hob performs really well. The touch controls are quite responsive, even with slightly wet hands.
The hob has an indicator that flashes on the display if you don’t use an induction ready pan and if ignored, the hob will turn off. I found this a great safety feature.
When you operate the hob, as soon as you place the pan on top, you can hear the induction plate get energised and within a few minutes, the pan starts to heat up.
I tested out a pan of water with 6 cups of water and at full power, this was boiling in a few minutes.
Controlling the different power levels is simply a case of choosing which plate you want to operate, then control the touch-dial pad that’s in the middle with you finger.
You can sync both plates together with the sync button too.
It also has a safety feature where you can prevent the controls from being modified by small young fingers simply by keeping hold of the padlock for 3 seconds.
In the box, you get instructions and feet if you want to place on a worktop versus into the worktop as a cutout. Installing the feet took no more than a few minutes. For the time being, I’ve got this setup on the side of my kitchen away from the main hob. Our intention is to let the boys use this how they want, whilst leaving the main hob for family cooking.
it’s worked in the past, but the old hob was a ceramic type which had seen better days and it’s out with the old and in with the new.
I opted for this domino design rather than the horizontal design as it fits in well with out design in the kitchen, but I do believe you can get the same build but in the horizontal structure too.
Overall I’m satisfied with this as it can be cleaned easily and the boys have given me the thumbs up too.
I’m planning to drop it into the worktop at some point and when I do, I’ll add some images on how it looks flush on the surface.
I needed a temporary countertop electric hob, as my main one only has one functioning stove. I’m very impressed with the build quality and performance. I’m was expecting it to work as well as my main one, but I was pleasantly surprised.
It is easy to operate. The touch buttons are very responsive. It can operate both stove at the same time individually or as one. Together it operates at 3300W. Individually, the top runs at 1800W and bottom at 1500W. It has a timer for both stove. Works great with induction pots and pans. Detects when you place a pan/pot and when you remove it. It will eventually turn off after a period of time if it doesn’t detect anything. Cleaning is very easy because of the glass layer.
The only issue I had was the noise. But as I’m using on the countertop, I was expecting this. If it was built in, the noise would far less intrusive. It isn’t terrible, with the extractor fan on, you hardly notice it.
Pros: It heats up quickly, it’s not that loud when the fans running, it cools down quickly when your done using it, it’s easy to clean and it has a wide temperature range because it heats and cools quickly it doesn’t eat the electric, it knows if you have a pot or pan on it and the most important thing for me is the timer. Oh and it has a child lock on it so it’s quite safe around the young ones.
Cons: None come to mind at the time of writing this.
Purchased this last year and it’s been working a treat. We use it for Chinese hotpots and it works well using the metal divided pot. It won’t work with ceramic or stone pots. It is flat and a great size.
I was very pleased with my AMZCHEF Induction Hob and it performed perfectly over the Christmas period.
I have a small kitchen and this was exactly what I needed, but the best was still to come!
It developed a minor fault and the response from AMZCHEF was amazing, so quick and so helpful.
Thank you, highly recommended.

I bought this to help my partner but it didn’t work correctly. After contacting explaining issue I was sent a new one. No hassles sending back etc they sent a new one with many apologies. It’s working great and my partner is very happy. Thank you customer support. You went above and beyond. Highly recommended
I can’t afford a cooker, so got this. So far it’s good.
I’ve made curries, omelette etc. The only down side, it’s hars to find the pots that suit it, and the ones that I’ve got are expensive for this.
But I would say get this is your saving for a cooker, or on a tight budget.
I was fed up with my ceramic hob when trying to fry something. It simply did not get the pan hot enough and keep it hot. This induction plate is great – heats up really quickly and keeps on giving heat. As in other reviews, you struggle to simmer something though. So, I simply get a pan of water to boit on the induction hob and transfer it to the ceramic hob to simmer. I use this a lot and so far no real complaints.
This hob arrived on time was working very well for a few months and then just stopped wouldn’t turn on. Can’t rate customer service highly enough they were in continuous friendly and helpful communication and on WhatsApp I was able to send a video of the issue. Initially we decided to try a new motherboard however in the end the hob was replaced speedily with a new one that is working very well. 5 star service .
Very reasonably priced and easy to use. Unfortunately due to hot spots on high heat, it’s caused the base of one of my heavy duty Aga pans to delaminate. Very effective if used with moderate heat – I personally can’t see any reason for using it on superheat, but one of my colleagues tends to do that!
This is a great product… it heats super fast, looks great and is easy to wipe clean. But you need to look after it, which is very easy. Read on please…
The first one we bought lasted no more than a day. The replacement is fine so far.
I’ve read many reviews where others had problems, and I think these tips should help everyone.
1) make sure the FAN is ok: the fan should kick in frequently, and not be too noisy. Or you have a faulty one. If the fan does not come on it will stop working permanently (it’s cooked itself) and probably trip your distribution board.
2) DO NOT switch it off at the socket soon after using it. The fan is essential for cooling it down correctly. It can’t do that if you turn it off at the socket.
3) the heat is generated in a small spot in your pan or cooking pot base. Unless boiling water or simmering move the pot around a bit every 20 seconds or so. Otherwise your food will burn at that spot.
4) About the hot spot: the cooker heats up, pauses, heats up, pauses… in that pattern. You can hear it heating up. DON’T use a NYLON fish slice while it is heating that spot! I found the 600 degrees setting to be fine for a quick slice action, but on 800 the tip of the fish slice will melt instantly and stick to the pan i.e. if it touches that small hot spot while heating up. You will end up with burnt nylon in your food. Alternatively only slice when it is NOT heating up, or lift the pan off the cooker while slicing.
The Induction would appear to be confind to a 12cm diameter in the middle so not a large area as with other induction hobs i have used. The watt and Celsius is a bit pointless, its bings to the boil rapidley but simmering is a toss between 60 ceslius doing not much of anything and 300 watt working fine.
Overall it works fine but have used bette
We’re currently in the 4th week (ugh) of putting in a new kitchen, but have still been able to cook – especially outside – during the renovations. I already had an electric grill and an air fryer, so this hob completed our outdoor/temporary kitchen. We have solar, so powering everything isn’t an issue when the sun is out or using stored energy in our battery. I wanted two hobs, to give us options, as we will also be using this in our caravan whenever we go down as it is much better than our gas hob – as it uses LPG so the pressure is low and everything takes an age to cook. This looks GREAT, first and foremost, and is also easy to clean. You have a 1800w hob on the left and a 1000w hob on the right. Each can be turned up/down by 200w (or 20 degrees), and the controls are responsive and simple to understand. The hobs heat up really quickly, but will not work (and will turn off) if there’s not an induction pot or pan on the hob. It also warns you, when you remove a pan, to remind you to turn it down or off. The hobs cool down really quickly too, while the pans are still red hot, so they conduct really well. An excellent unit, that will be getting more use over the summer!
Absolutely brilliant easy to wipe clean and use very good
Appears energy efficient and likely to use more in view of very high price this winter.
Updated on 11 Feb 2023:
I just wanted to express my gratitude and admiration for the customer service representative who reached out to me after reading my initial feedback. It was such a pleasant surprise to receive an email inquiring about my experience with the product. I appreciate the company’s and the representative’s proactive approach and exceptional customer service. Their attitude and attention to customer satisfaction is truly commendable.
After communicating with the customer service representative, I was willing to give the product another chance. It’s worth mentioning that the appearance of the new one was different, with a sandblasted surface instead of a smooth mirror finish, and the performance was a little bit better than the one I returned. Although the new induction hob showed improvement over the previous one, there is still room for improvement in terms of heating. As shown in the video clip, you can see that the heat was not distributed evenly on the bottom of the pan (maybe)due to the arrangement of the coils, so only some parts of my pancake were overcooked while the other parts were still undercooked, which needs to be taken into consideration when using it. In addition, I believe that the temperature selection can be even more precise, especially between 80 and 100 degrees, where more or a few more options should be added.
1) Could be better if the temperature can be selected within the range from 80 to 100, eg 85 90.
2) Imbalanced heating as photo shown.
I’ve had several similar over the years and this is the best. Very strong. Those with rubber type buttons always fail. This touch screen foolproof. Only slight boggle. Why hadn’t it got a 200 deg setting? Incredibly fast. Totally recommend
It’s the perfect instant heat and very cheap to use gadget. Even better than my gs cooker.
This is a brilliant product very easy to use cooks very quickly and easy to clean and what a great price would definitely recommend
The unit heated up quickly and the temperature range was good and the
unit was easily cleaned. It was delivered on time and in good conditio
When I couldn’t find anyone that could to mend my broken induction hob top inside a week, I decided to buy one of these to at least enable some simple cooking. It’s only a single plate but it’s easy, efficient and very powerful. It has certainly proved invaluable and when, hopefully in the very near future, the hob is repaired I shall be keeping this handy. It is small, light and ideal for use outside the kitchen.
This hob takes up very little space but I am able to use my very large wok on it, The controls are easier to use than on the other two hobs I have owned. It heats up very quickly and then one is able to lower the temperature down to simmer if required. I am extremely pleased with it and have no hesitation in recommending it.
We take ours in the Campervan to cook outside with. Heats up very quick and means no cooking smells inside. Cleans in seconds , can’t recommend it enough
Bought this to save energy from using my main oven and 4 hobs! My first use of induction hob was to boil water for boiled eggs! I was amazed how quickly the water boiled, faster than my main hobs! Definitely got the thumbs up from me!
The controls are easy to understand and use, and the glass top just wipes clean.
When you turn it on the heat is there instantly and the temperature is maintained at the desired level you set it to. Overall it fantastic.
I’m really enjoying this product. It boils a pot of cold water in about a minute, and has instant control to go from a rolling boil to simmer and back again. The fact that the whole thing stays cool while the pot is boiling on it feels like some kind of sorcery is going on 🙂
This single hob foot print is just slightly bigger than the cooking pot, it can be transported easily by packing it inside a bag etc. The induction heating is much more efficient than the electric heating element hob, using less energy and heat up a lot faster with the right pot. I find the Swedish flat pack company cooking pot and pan work best with this induction hob.
The glass top is easy to just wipe down when finish cooking, the buttons al all touch sensitive with no hidden corners and hard to reach gaps to hide oil and dirt etc. There are many level of heat to choose from, I love the lock button which will prevent little hands from messing around with the control around the cooking area.
Was surprised at how quickly it got very hot! Super little stove, just don’t need max heat.
Very happy with this item and all the information attached was just as informative too so we are very happy with our new induction slimline single cooker, we are using it and hoping to also reduce our electric/gas bills by doing so too as it is quick to heat up, easy to control and cooks many different foods too1
It’s a useful extra gadget to have and helps me when I’m doing cooked breakfasts and need an extra ring. The annoying thing is it keeps clicking and it’s quite noisy. Good though and easy to pull out, use, wipe, put away.
Quick boiling of water, easy to use and noise level of beeps equals a microwave. I use this instead of gas cooker – so much faster and timer helps stop over cooking.
I already have a double inductive hobb and believe they are the future for cooking. This AMZCHEF one is actually better than the others as it is more controllable. I can set the temperature either to degrees C or by watts. It also has a timer, which is always useful.
These cookers are very fast, but also very efficient. The electricity heats the pan, so little heat escapes and no watts wasted. This in turn helps my pocket! Definately recommended.
Easy to use, clean. Heats up in seconds. Just right for the motorhome
Great little electric hob for camping, heats up within seconds,
This is my first induction hob so setting the temperature takes a little practice but is no problems at all.
Could easily be used in kitchen or mancave
great produc
+Almost ideal, amazingly thin. Like a plug-in iPad cooking unit.
— the 1minute steps work on the down arrow, but only 10min increments on the up arrow. (Press and hold does 10min increments either way).
Really pleased with this product, I only have a small built in hob and needed the extra cooking space. This works fantastically, it is designed for induction cooking so make sure your pans are compatible. If they aren’t then the hob will not heat up. A good test if you are unsure is to see if they are magnetic. The hob itself is large with a slim profile, it easily fits in to kitchen cupboards and stores away nicely. The controls are touch sensitive and it’s very easy to master them. The temperature can be set,the time limit and it can be locked. It cleans really easily and is much easier to clean than a gas hob as it is just one flat and smooth surface. I find it heats up much faster than a gas hob also.
Purchased for our caravanning adventures as the Camping Gaz gear as good as it is was becoming cumbersome, ie not performing so well in colder temperatures and the constant need to keep buying gas, difficult to clean etc, so i figured this would be the perfect replacement, and im happy to say i was right.
Many people ask what is the point of the power denominations being in Watts, well i say this, for anyone using camp site electrical hook ups, it’s entirely relevant, especially it the kettle/toaster is on at the same time, you can gauge with some more confidence that your less likely to trip the board or the hook up especially if you use 2 of these as we regularly do.
As for ease of use, simple really, the odd impromptu beep here and there but thats the nature of the touch setup. Knobs and grates are hard to clean and take time away from your precious holidays, this thing takes seconds. Literally.
As for power/increments, cant really see why you would need any more power, and can usually find a suitable increment for any type of food or cooking technique.
Buy it, and stop wasting time and money with gas.
I have had this unit for about a month and used it daily the first time i used it i had the temp up way to high so my advise woiuld be turn it down to the lowest and increase when needed , you will need the right pans that allow induction heating so check before you buy.
Overall quality and ease of use this product is fantastic for someone without a cooker.
I bought this as I had heard great things about induction and as my main stove has gas burners I was looking for a better environmental alternative. In short I found it in this product. It has cut my cooking time in half for a lot of things, mainly boiling, frying and anything that requires a high heat.
At first being able to have a medium heat to saut or simmer was a challenge as it gives pulses of power rather than a steady low stream of heat like gas, but I soon realised that all I needed to do was to stay with my cooker and stir more and the issue soon went away. If you are someone who wants to walk away when cooking and leave to plop on it’s own then this is not really going to work for you. However, the reduced cooking time, carbon foot print and current energy prices make this one of the best buys that you will make.
It even tells you which pans don’t work with it by displaying EO. My advice is that your stainless steels are the ones to go for until you can afford some circulon pans – they are simply the best pans to buy and use with induction. Happy cooking, planet saving and reducing your energy bills 🙂
I wish amazon would allow us to to do half stars as I’d give this four & a half stars out of five!(i round down out of protest lol). My first experiment was to boil eggs in water – the pan was more or less boiling just over a minute (small pot). You could see the water changing even after 20 seconds, even on a high heat on gas it would have been 1-2 minutes before you saw the water starting to heat. The Hob has two modes of cooking, temperature or wattage. Wattage seems to allow more finer heating control which does help.
The only reason I’ve not given it five out of five is that getting things to simmer is impossible (for me anyway). – but that is probably nothing to do with the brand but maybe the technical ability of induction hobs at this price point. Maybe hobs in the 100-200 would simmer better but its maybe a technical incapability of induction cooking – I don’t know enough about induction to make even an educated guess.
I like this hob and it heats better and faster than my electric stove, the later taking what felt like 10 minutes to boil water! The hob is now my go to way of cooking even with the simmer issue. When i move home and have a choice of hobs, i’d probably not go 100% induction, but a mix of induction and gas.
