Absolutely great induction hob can’t believe the speed it heats up and how hot the cooking temperature is have to tutor down to 80 or 90 degrees C for best cooking results really love this cooke
I’m surprised on how good this is. This was supposed to be a quick fix until I buy a full kitchen but I’ll keep it for much longer. Does the job perfectly well
It is a reliable and good looking induction cooker I had even own. We love the thin design which can save lot of space. The 2000w power makes it a very fast heating a 26cm pot! Great job!
Not only does the design is elegant ( enhance the kitchen look) but customer support is commensurate .
My unit after working well for almost 2 years experienced some problems ( cooking stopped for no apparent reason on my 1800w plate). It was easy to contact customer service ( prompt reply). After some back and forth exchange involving them studying a video of the issue in their professional technical department, they decided to replace my unit which I did not expect.
It was a welcome no hassle response to my troubles.
Definitely recommend.
I use small pans and a large frying pan regularly and the heat distribution is just about on point but stirring a chilli con carne is a must to move around the pan for the optimum heatspot, on this particular large frying pan i use it does not cover the whole circumference of the base of the pan, but its no drama if your pan is good quality as the heat will distribute itself.
The timer is handy and cuts all power off so no risk of over cooking. It simmers perfectly for me, and the lower heat around 500w (watt) is a nice slow cooking heat. You can also choose to use Celius if thats a more familiar heat measurement.
It feels really well made and good quality. I wipe it down immediately after use and i can say that it has no pan burn marks on it, it still looks like new. Overall i am very impressed and hope to get a nice lifespan from it. It has been worth every penny.
The hob has an indicator that flashes on the display if you don’t use an induction ready pan and if ignored, the hob will turn off. I found this a great safety feature.
When you operate the hob, as soon as you place the pan on top, you can hear the induction plate get energised and within a few minutes, the pan starts to heat up.
I tested out a pan of water with 6 cups of water and at full power, this was boiling in a few minutes.
Controlling the different power levels is simply a case of choosing which plate you want to operate, then control the touch-dial pad that’s in the middle with you finger.
You can sync both plates together with the sync button too.
It also has a safety feature where you can prevent the controls from being modified by small young fingers simply by keeping hold of the padlock for 3 seconds.
In the box, you get instructions and feet if you want to place on a worktop versus into the worktop as a cutout. Installing the feet took no more than a few minutes. For the time being, I’ve got this setup on the side of my kitchen away from the main hob. Our intention is to let the boys use this how they want, whilst leaving the main hob for family cooking.
it’s worked in the past, but the old hob was a ceramic type which had seen better days and it’s out with the old and in with the new.
I opted for this domino design rather than the horizontal design as it fits in well with out design in the kitchen, but I do believe you can get the same build but in the horizontal structure too.
Overall I’m satisfied with this as it can be cleaned easily and the boys have given me the thumbs up too.
I’m planning to drop it into the worktop at some point and when I do, I’ll add some images on how it looks flush on the surface.
It is easy to operate. The touch buttons are very responsive. It can operate both stove at the same time individually or as one. Together it operates at 3300W. Individually, the top runs at 1800W and bottom at 1500W. It has a timer for both stove. Works great with induction pots and pans. Detects when you place a pan/pot and when you remove it. It will eventually turn off after a period of time if it doesn’t detect anything. Cleaning is very easy because of the glass layer.
The only issue I had was the noise. But as I’m using on the countertop, I was expecting this. If it was built in, the noise would far less intrusive. It isn’t terrible, with the extractor fan on, you hardly notice it.
Cons: None come to mind at the time of writing this.
I have a small kitchen and this was exactly what I needed, but the best was still to come!
It developed a minor fault and the response from AMZCHEF was amazing, so quick and so helpful.
Thank you, highly recommended.

I can’t afford a cooker, so got this. So far it’s good.
I’ve made curries, omelette etc. The only down side, it’s hars to find the pots that suit it, and the ones that I’ve got are expensive for this.
But I would say get this is your saving for a cooker, or on a tight budget.
I was fed up with my ceramic hob when trying to fry something. It simply did not get the pan hot enough and keep it hot. This induction plate is great – heats up really quickly and keeps on giving heat. As in other reviews, you struggle to simmer something though. So, I simply get a pan of water to boit on the induction hob and transfer it to the ceramic hob to simmer. I use this a lot and so far no real complaints.
The first one we bought lasted no more than a day. The replacement is fine so far.
I’ve read many reviews where others had problems, and I think these tips should help everyone.
1) make sure the FAN is ok: the fan should kick in frequently, and not be too noisy. Or you have a faulty one. If the fan does not come on it will stop working permanently (it’s cooked itself) and probably trip your distribution board.
2) DO NOT switch it off at the socket soon after using it. The fan is essential for cooling it down correctly. It can’t do that if you turn it off at the socket.
3) the heat is generated in a small spot in your pan or cooking pot base. Unless boiling water or simmering move the pot around a bit every 20 seconds or so. Otherwise your food will burn at that spot.
4) About the hot spot: the cooker heats up, pauses, heats up, pauses… in that pattern. You can hear it heating up. DON’T use a NYLON fish slice while it is heating that spot! I found the 600 degrees setting to be fine for a quick slice action, but on 800 the tip of the fish slice will melt instantly and stick to the pan i.e. if it touches that small hot spot while heating up. You will end up with burnt nylon in your food. Alternatively only slice when it is NOT heating up, or lift the pan off the cooker while slicing.
Overall it works fine but have used bette
Absolutely brilliant easy to wipe clean and use very good
Appears energy efficient and likely to use more in view of very high price this winter.
I just wanted to express my gratitude and admiration for the customer service representative who reached out to me after reading my initial feedback. It was such a pleasant surprise to receive an email inquiring about my experience with the product. I appreciate the company’s and the representative’s proactive approach and exceptional customer service. Their attitude and attention to customer satisfaction is truly commendable.
After communicating with the customer service representative, I was willing to give the product another chance. It’s worth mentioning that the appearance of the new one was different, with a sandblasted surface instead of a smooth mirror finish, and the performance was a little bit better than the one I returned. Although the new induction hob showed improvement over the previous one, there is still room for improvement in terms of heating. As shown in the video clip, you can see that the heat was not distributed evenly on the bottom of the pan (maybe)due to the arrangement of the coils, so only some parts of my pancake were overcooked while the other parts were still undercooked, which needs to be taken into consideration when using it. In addition, I believe that the temperature selection can be even more precise, especially between 80 and 100 degrees, where more or a few more options should be added.
1) Could be better if the temperature can be selected within the range from 80 to 100, eg 85 90.
2) Imbalanced heating as photo shown.
I’ve had several similar over the years and this is the best. Very strong. Those with rubber type buttons always fail. This touch screen foolproof. Only slight boggle. Why hadn’t it got a 200 deg setting? Incredibly fast. Totally recommend
This is a brilliant product very easy to use cooks very quickly and easy to clean and what a great price would definitely recommend
The unit heated up quickly and the temperature range was good and the
unit was easily cleaned. It was delivered on time and in good conditio
This hob takes up very little space but I am able to use my very large wok on it, The controls are easier to use than on the other two hobs I have owned. It heats up very quickly and then one is able to lower the temperature down to simmer if required. I am extremely pleased with it and have no hesitation in recommending it.
When you turn it on the heat is there instantly and the temperature is maintained at the desired level you set it to. Overall it fantastic.
The glass top is easy to just wipe down when finish cooking, the buttons al all touch sensitive with no hidden corners and hard to reach gaps to hide oil and dirt etc. There are many level of heat to choose from, I love the lock button which will prevent little hands from messing around with the control around the cooking area.
Was surprised at how quickly it got very hot! Super little stove, just don’t need max heat.
Very happy with this item and all the information attached was just as informative too so we are very happy with our new induction slimline single cooker, we are using it and hoping to also reduce our electric/gas bills by doing so too as it is quick to heat up, easy to control and cooks many different foods too1
These cookers are very fast, but also very efficient. The electricity heats the pan, so little heat escapes and no watts wasted. This in turn helps my pocket! Definately recommended.
Easy to use, clean. Heats up in seconds. Just right for the motorhome
Great little electric hob for camping, heats up within seconds,
This is my first induction hob so setting the temperature takes a little practice but is no problems at all.
Could easily be used in kitchen or mancave
great produc
— the 1minute steps work on the down arrow, but only 10min increments on the up arrow. (Press and hold does 10min increments either way).
Many people ask what is the point of the power denominations being in Watts, well i say this, for anyone using camp site electrical hook ups, it’s entirely relevant, especially it the kettle/toaster is on at the same time, you can gauge with some more confidence that your less likely to trip the board or the hook up especially if you use 2 of these as we regularly do.
As for ease of use, simple really, the odd impromptu beep here and there but thats the nature of the touch setup. Knobs and grates are hard to clean and take time away from your precious holidays, this thing takes seconds. Literally.
As for power/increments, cant really see why you would need any more power, and can usually find a suitable increment for any type of food or cooking technique.
Buy it, and stop wasting time and money with gas.
Overall quality and ease of use this product is fantastic for someone without a cooker.
At first being able to have a medium heat to saut or simmer was a challenge as it gives pulses of power rather than a steady low stream of heat like gas, but I soon realised that all I needed to do was to stay with my cooker and stir more and the issue soon went away. If you are someone who wants to walk away when cooking and leave to plop on it’s own then this is not really going to work for you. However, the reduced cooking time, carbon foot print and current energy prices make this one of the best buys that you will make.
It even tells you which pans don’t work with it by displaying EO. My advice is that your stainless steels are the ones to go for until you can afford some circulon pans – they are simply the best pans to buy and use with induction. Happy cooking, planet saving and reducing your energy bills 🙂
The only reason I’ve not given it five out of five is that getting things to simmer is impossible (for me anyway). – but that is probably nothing to do with the brand but maybe the technical ability of induction hobs at this price point. Maybe hobs in the 100-200 would simmer better but its maybe a technical incapability of induction cooking – I don’t know enough about induction to make even an educated guess.
I like this hob and it heats better and faster than my electric stove, the later taking what felt like 10 minutes to boil water! The hob is now my go to way of cooking even with the simmer issue. When i move home and have a choice of hobs, i’d probably not go 100% induction, but a mix of induction and gas.
