I originally got this to cover my 3 seater garden bench but I had to buy a mobility scooter and didn’t think about it needing a cover until the rain came down, this Oxford fabric cover actually fits it perfectly so I need another one for the bench.
It’s quite thick and has stayed put over the past couple of weeks, I’m really happy with it and what a great price!
I am using this cover for my big BBQ. I found that accurately sized covers for BBQs are more expensive, so I had a go with this one instead. It works the same with its waterproof material, which is also resistant to UV and offers protection from sun damage to the colour of my BBQ.
It fits well, and I have some extra room to tuck it in and make sure it will not blow off in any strong winds.
It also came in a storage bag that I am finding very handy to put away if it is not needed for a long time, if we are lucky enough to have a few weeks of sunshine and no rain.
This cover comes tightly folded and packed in a zip up bag, made from the same fabric, which it can be stored in when not in use.
Having been packed that tightly, I found it took a little while to open up as the internal silver surface had stuck to itself in numerous places. However, it did pull apart without causing any obvious damage to the surface.
The cover is shaped and it would have been helpful if there had been some clear indication as to which are the front and back panels. In the absence of that, I did find that I initially managed to put the cover on the wrong way around.
Assuming the covers are all made the same way, then a useful tip is that the drawstring toggle is situated near the bottom right corner of the back panel.
Whilst there is a drawstring around the bottom hem, I found it difficult to tighten the cord sufficiently to secure the cover firmly around the bench, which might cause problems in strong winds. I therefore recommend putting a ground peg or similar through the loop of the drawstring, as that should prevent the cover flying away completely should the wind get up.
The fabric is quite lightweight but performs its function well, keeping out the water even in prolonged heavy rain. I’m not sure how long it will last before the sun’s UV rays start to break it down, particularly if left on for prolonged periods during summer but at just under fifteen pounds I’ll be happy if I get a couple of years or so out of it.

This is a large well fitting bench cover that is made from good quality fabric. It is waterproof and protects my bench from adverse weather however when it rains heavily the water does just gather in a large pool on the seat which then pulls the cover down and off. Other than thus it is a very g9od strong cove
Ideal to protect a wooden bench over the winter months, hopefully using this may mean we dont have to treat it so often.
The quality is good enough and there is a drawer string at the bottom. We have put it on to test on a coupe of windy days and there is no signs that it can be blown off, so we are satisfied this work well to protect it from the worst of the winter weathe
This is slightly thicker than the covers we have had previously that have blown off and never been returned! It is thick and protects the wooden chair beneath perfectly. There is a tie toggle bottom too to help hold it in place and with the wind we have this week there was no movement.
Good price for the quality hopefully this one is here to stay.
Finally our bench has a cover too. It looks heavy duty material, slightly longer but easy to adapt and actually help to go underneath and not flying with wind. Love i
For less than 15 quid, at the time of writing, this simple cover will protect your expensive bench from all the British weather can chuck at it.
It simply will lengthen the life of your expensive benches for much longer.
A sensible and wise investment in anyone’s book or garden.
I ordered the larger size by mistake but I am glad I did, it means that I can tuck the ends under the legs to hold it tight on a windy day. The cover is thick and appears waterproof. which means I don’t have to keep removing the cushion. It has a zip pouch for storage. A reasonably priced, well made garden bench cover.
This arrived in good time and condition and as advertised .
It’s not a heavy grade fabric it almost feels like a pacamac fabric that’s water repellent maybe a bit thicker In black.
Our small 2 seater bench it covers with enough room so am happy to reccomend this Thankyou
