For the price of it it work fast and I’m happy coz it runs my world of warcraft great with no lag and runs my steam games all great but got to say if u need more memory get a xbox exhard drive if u like downloading alot of games like I do. Fan can be loud at times but u can turn the setting of the fan mode down so its not loud iv have mine for some time now and still work perfectly like new
Great laptop, love it – good feel on the keyboard, great and large screen, good ports, runs simple games well – I have not pushed it well yet on games but runs simple games fine … battery life is great … just a good all round machine.
So i am a student and a person who likes to play games a lot. Recently bought this laptop for all my needs. I wont be able to give an expert view on it for my knowledge is limited but i can say it runs perfectly. Its fast and powerful. I must say its not exactly silent but i dont have a problem with that. Tried some AAA games, all of them runs perfectly.
A really good looking ,feeling and powerful laptop,i have no complaints and it even comes with a free mouse.

It’s a bit edgy-looking but not nearly as bad as some of the others on the market, and the build quality feels pretty decent; nice fat keys with a lot of travel.
If nothing else you have something to swing at a mugger.
Picture quality is eh. Not sure what all the fuss in the marketing around the screen is about, it delivers well in terms of Hz but it’s not an OLED screen and never will be, so colours and contrasts are mediocre at the best of times. It’s not a terrible screen by any means but noticeably not ‘good’. The sound quality is pretty bad also. If you care about good sound you’ll need something external, a nice pair of headphones or speakers, preferably with a DAC attachment if you’re listening to music for any length of time, cus literally my phone has better sound.
It wasn’t clear in the marketing (from what I could see anyway) exactly what connections it came with and where, so here’s a run-down.
On the left hand-side there’s the power socket, 1x Ethernet port, 1x HDMI, 2x USB 3.1s, 1x USB-C/thunderbolt 4, and a 3mm headphone socket. On the right hand-side there’s just a USB 3.1. Seems a little lopsided to be honest, but I guess there’s plenty of power for an external hub if you want lots of connections.
By default the fans are loud and will periodically spin up and down when doing anything simple like watching youtube, but they are configurable with either an F-button on the keyboard or in the Armour Crate application where you can also do things like change the keyboard colour and give specific apps preset GPU limitations etc.
Runs most games I threw at it without much hassle, nice and powerful so it kinda makes up for the downsides. Cus what’s the point of a nice screen if minesweeper bricks it?
Really happy with this, i upgraded it to 16GB before i even turned it on but its well built, and fast for the price. Fan whizzes up like you expect in some games but in general use, watching videos etc, its quiet. Keys are a pleasure to type on and the backlit keys are pretty cool. Sound good enough for a laptop. Really happy with purchase but i got it on offer for about 550
Had quite a few Asus laptops and they have always been great!! This one is powerful and quite and works like a dream. Very lightweight and nice thin bezel on the screen. Only slight downside is lack of connections as has limited usb ports and audio ports….

Bought this laptop because it was a great cost/benefit for an i7 + RTX3070.
Works wonderfully well on Linux(Arch Linux) with custom TPM + SecureBoot setup. Some minimal things don’t work like the “fan” function key, and that is going to be fixed on the next Kernel Version(6.1).

Great laptop at this price range with all beefed up specs. Love the asus armour app and short cut keys to change performance modes. Decent build and good style with relatively light weight for the specs. It came with 1 16 gb ram which is awesome, thanks Asus! Speakers are also great and provides good stereo separation and crisp audio. Works well with oculus quest 2. Asus website mentioned that I can charge this laptop with external battery connected directly to the thunderbolt port but haven’t tried yet. Another great option from Asus is that I can choose to cut battery charging after 60% or 80% thereby extending battery life. If you are iOS user then asus apps help you transfer data wirelessly to and from the laptop, which is very handy. These apps include remote and camera access. Completely happy that I chose to buy this.
