This is an excellent quality item.
A great help to me as l can’t get down to cut my toe nails. The gadget give me that extra reach, so l file my nails instead of cutting them.
Tip. File regularly to keep them sho
Again this item was for a friend who really like the item
Ok so let me start by ashamedly saying that at 40yrs old I was a pedicure virgin.
I’ve never done anything more than just simply cutting my toenails.
I’m an 80s-baby – pedicures are not manly!
But its 2023 and we all grow eventually haha.
I liked the idea of this because it looks like a sleek power tool (manly box tick, F-yeah!)
I read through the attachments list in the manual then gave it a spin.
At first I felt silly and awkward, then after about 2mins I was engaged and by the end I was passionately and painstakingly attending to my feet.
I can’t lie- before my toenails looked dull, ashy and unsightly cuticles.
Now, they look like I’ve just come out of a nail salon… shiny, clean and well trimmed.
I’m a pedicure convert! Just not sure I’ll be telling my mates down the pub about it just yet, haha!
Works really well as long as you know how to use it properly. Strong power.
I love the quality of the various attachment heads, especially the one for the heels and the fine one for the cracked skin around the nails. The electric machine is lightweight and I can adjust the speed of spinning.
Although my hand-coordination is not great, I managed to do a salon-quality manicure and pedicure for myself with this machine.
As a senior with thickened toenails I always had issues cutting them.
This product solved the problem.
Clear instructions and with a bit of practice it did the job perfectly.
Also the other attachments for hard skin, callouses etc are excellent.
It’s mains operated so doesn’t run out of power. After using it twice I have already saved on chiropodist’s fees. It gives complete control as to how much nail to remove, unlike clippers or scissors. I have only used 2 of the attachments, the coarse and fine flat grinders, to shorten my toenails. I haven’t yet found a use for the others.
It does exactly what I need and should save me a load of money.
Bought this to step up my manicure and pedicure routine. Early days and still getting used to it but I’m not disappointed. Only used it on my hands up to now but It’s really easy to hold and use, quiet and effective. The charging storage box is fab and keeps everything together neat and tidy. I bought some alcohol spray to keep the heads germ free too.
Bought as a gift, my wife has used this every day to keep herb problematic nails in check.
Problematic? Her nails have a tendency to chip and break and would previously use nail files to rectify. However, the apparent bonus here is the ability to make a really smooth repair. As a result, her nails look and feel nicer and virtually dispensed with the need to cut them.
Not sure if all the attachments will be used too often, but it makes for a potentially comprehensive kit for a reasonable price. Well made. And the presentation box is particularly beautiful, both in looks and curiously tactile in its own smoothness.
Wow! So very pleased that I purchased this manicure set. It takes good care of pedicures and manicures on so many levels. It is very safe to use; no worries when accidentally touching the skin.
The quality of the product is superb and the design and functionality is also superb.
After just two uses, I am able to do a complete pedicure by myself. I wish I could award 10 stars. Highly recommend.
This is a very efficient way of caring for your feet. The instructions are clear and easy to follow and each treatment head has a description of its purpose. With a bit of familiarisation you are soon able toremove a corn, an ingrown nail, smooth away a callous and most importantly as I’m older, reduce thickened nails. You can also control the speed of the device which is important at first. Best of all you save on chiropodist visits! My feet have never looked or felt so good.
Bit tricky to use on fingernails but fab for feet. I had major dry skin pad issues on big toes and heels. Holiday later this month and I will now be proud for my feet to be seen in sandals
The device works perfectly and comes with a number of tools that allow you to manage your nails in ways that would be impossible otherwise. In my case it helps to control and normalize the regrowth of my big toe’s nail after an excision but, I suppose, it can be used in any other imaginable way for aesthetic purposes. Very effective piece of engineering.
Easy to use for all types of nails as there are many adapters to do all kinds of nails, from thin to thick, it really works wonders for those jobs that needs professional help to keep it all trimmed and under control.
I highly recommend it as I am extremely pleased with this purchase.
I have found it very good for removing hard skin but thought the range of attachments could be better. probably should have got another model.
I’ve been struggling with horrible thick dry skin around my nails from 3 years of non-stop DIY and all the covid hand-washing hasn’t helped. Hours with a pumice stone was hardly doing anything so I decided to get industrial. I was thinking of using my DIY dremel and then wondered if a gentler version for nails existed and hey presto- it does! This gadget filed down my dry spots literally in seconds. Wow, so impressed and super happy. Thanks a lot xox
I bought this as I am debriding some toe nails following a course of laser treatment.
I should have bought this long ago. It shapes nails, polishes nails, and does things I have no need for – at the moment.
Best of all, having a small fidgety dog, and not the best eye sight in the world, I have found I can gently file down the dog claws , and he doesn’t complain! So much easier than using dog clippers.
Bought this make as it plugs into mains, so no battery problems. For me, the tool for thinning down thick toenails doesn’t have sufficient abrasion. The ones used by professional chiropodists are more powerful, but this isn’t bad.
Bought to replace a similar item that has started to fail. Initial impressions are so so. It is quite light and feels insubstantial in comparison to my older item. I went with the mains powered model as I have used a rechargeable one before but after a while the battery deteriorated and didn’t hold enough charge to do the job. The attachments on this item are very similar to my older one which is good as they have lasted for years. Only time will tell how robust this model is.
Nothing wrong with the product but thanks Amazon for not telling me it wouldn’t come in Amazon packaging. Label stuck straight on product and wife opened the door. No surprise for Christmas for her now. No problem with saving packaging but let the buyer know!
Like many older people the nails on my feet have become thickened and curl and difficult to cut and manage. It takes a bit of practice and dexterity but with this product I have found I can manage my nails instead of having time consuming, frequent visits to a Chiropodist at 30 a time. It is a bit fiddly and time consuming but I can now reduce/shape the nails and remove hard skin just as well as a professional. My main comments would be that the body is very smooth plastic and all the controls are on the handle so that as you hold and manipulate the product you can lose control of it, change the speed or switch it off quite easily. Also the cord is coiled which is good as that prevents it getting tangled but it could do with being at least a metre longer to give you more room to work without the cord pulling the product out of your hand. I can do my finger nails much quicker than with a normal file. I don’t use all the accessories and I didn’t see where you could obtain replacements but overall I am pleased with this product which has paid for itself many times over. John P.
I have used this a couple of times. I think it takes a couple of goes to work out how best to use it to suit your own needs. Things I like – Easy to file into edges of nails (especially on the feet) without damaging your skin. I have only used the lowest speed and a very light touch which for most tasks is plenty. Easy to file toenails to a neat shape without having to clip them first. Mine are in fairly decent condition anyway but clippers often create damage and splits where you don’t want them, not so with this, but working from the centre to the middle of the nail is a good idea (which is why the two direction setting is useful). The small heads get right into the corners of the nails so are good for getting rid of those sharp bits/ingrown bits if you have them.
Things that could be better – The cable is a little short (though it is a spiral and can be stretched quite a way but does want to ping back into shape which isn’t ideal while you are using it). The light is in the wrong position and doesn’t help at all with illuminating the area you are working on. The buffer is a bit disappointing – it will clean off any dust etc at the end of your pedicure but won’t give you shiny nails. Having said that I think I will be using this a lot in the future.
