The only part I didn’t like is that the watch doesn’t say where is made. It states what movement it contains (Seiko) and the brand, bit not the where. Not typical of a reputable brand. Still, for the price I found it a fair deal. Of course, only fans of Dieter Rams work will recognize what’s so special about this watch face. I am such a fan, and that’s what makes me happy. I wish I could get his juicer, the radio and the stereo too! But if you don’t understand and appreciate the aesthetic of his work, it’s just a watch.
Great watch I was looking for an automatic watch and just found this one. Really like design and colors combination on this piece. Only weakness is small calendar number.
I use this as a travel watch as it is understated, comfortable, and versatile. It can be worn with a suit, gym clothes, or anything in between. The timing is accurate. I love traveling with a watch that includes the date. My only issue with the date on this watch is it’s pretty small which makes it tough to read unless you’re looking very closely. My favorite part about the Braun brand is the connection to Dieter Rams who is a BEST IN CLASS designer. Sir Jonny Ive has said that Dieter Rams was an inspiration to him. Enough said.
Un reloj de muy buena calidad, quera algo automtico y finalmente me decid por este Braun. me encanta el diseo estilo bauhaus, la simplicidad y la limpieza de sus lneas.
Las agujas se ven muy bien, contrastan bien con el fondo, y de noche se iluminan al ser fluorescentes.
Su funcionamiento es extremadamente sencillo en lo referente a ponerlo en hora y cambiar la fecha, con la misma ruedecita en sus distintas posiciones se cambia en unos segundos. No tiene misterio ninguno.
Por lo que pone en las instrucciones, la cuerda del reloj aguanta unas 30 horas activa si por ejemplo nos lo quitamos y lo dejamos guardado sin moviemiento. En movimiento el sistema automtico se va recargando y no deja de funcionar.
Por poner algn punto negativo. La correa es bastante rgida, y para quitarlo y ponerlo cuesta un poco, podran haber puesto una silicona o plstico ms suave y manejable. No me agrada mucho el tacto ni la rigidez que tiene, desde mi punto de vista, le resta calidad, pese a que estticamente queda muy bonita, al tacto y al doblarla para quitarte el reloj, la sensacin es de un tipo de plstico rgido. Espero que sea resistente y aguante. Aunque se podra sustituir por cualquier correa estndar.
En resumen, es un reloj automtico precioso, minimalista, de estilo industrial bauhaus como muchos otros productos Braun.
I did not have any problems with my Braun automatic. Movement: a Seiko NH35A, which is a good movement known for being a workhorse, and it is a quite common movement used by many brands. Accuracy is super good on my watch. Lumen is sub-par, almost non-existent. Glass is sapphire crystal, which is pretty good. 5atm bar (no swimming). Case finish is good enough. All in all, it is a good option if you like automatic watches and this classic minimalistic design. 5 years guarantee is really good.
I just disliked the fact that on the description it says it’s it’s part of alimited edition of 100 watches and thats not true. I line the watch a lot but the description is false on that.
