Classic Dieter Rams/Braun design, very easy to read. a pleasure to own.
Me gusto mucho el reloj, est bien construido y el estilo es muy bonito. Lo recomiendo, la nica observacin es que el segundero del cronmetro no cae exactamente al centro de las 12 est desviado hacia la izquierda, pero realmente no es algo que me incomode demasiado.
This is a medium-sized watch with harmonious proportions. The dial features a classic Braun design with a Bauhaus elements. This gives them excellent readability (at least the white dial version). The case is matt, with straight sides, made of stainless steel, flat glass. There is no anti-reflective coating, but, nevertheless, the appearance of the watch does not suffer too much from this. The strap is of good quality, genuine leather, and it fits perfectly on the 205mm wrist and still has enough length to tuck under the strap loop. It may not be the best choice for the full price of the watch (but definitely not the worst), but I bought it on Amazon with a 50% discount and it is a very good purchase. If you are looking for a dress watch with a casual touch, this might be your choice.
The packaging box itself is the most simple, utilitarian, and for a gift it will not look too luxurious, but the watch itself will not disappoint. Recommended.
Great watch, easy to read & keeps excellent time. My only concern is the strap. The 2 tunnels that keep the strap together have both come off. Looking fir a similar strap to purchase. Otherwise I would buy again when I need a new one.
This is really a great watch and band set. Very stylish and has a timeless classic design thaT looks more expensive than it really is.

Two items I didn’t expect:
– battery life is shorter that what I had expected
– wrist band started to smell from sweating and getting wet. Really no way to clean and deodorize
J’aime beaucoup le design des montres Braun et celle-ci est trs belle. Vu d’autres commentaires, je ne suis pas sr de sa longvit mais 99 ce sont des choses que je peux ignorer. Je verrai avec le temps si j’ai t chanceux ou non ! Au prix de vente recommand (280) j’aurais videmment t beaucoup plus regardant et n’aurais peut tre pas saut le pas.
Sachlich schn im Bauhaus-Stil. Funktioniert einwandfrei und luft sehr genau.Funkuhr genau. Leider ist das Armband sehr steif und man hat mindestens zu Beginn Probleme es einzufdeln. Die Datumanzeige ist leider kaum ablesbar weil viel zu klein (1,5mm!). Insgesamt aber ist das Ablesen der Zeit sehr gut. Nach 14tgigem Tragen lste sich das Armband (doppelschichtig) in seine Bestandteile auf und mute mit Schustleim geklebt werden.
Good watch, easy to read, light to wear and discreet. Minor downside, no luminous markers for night time viewing.
This is a great looking watch and benefits from quartz accuracy. The dial is easy to read with multiple inner dials with hours, minutes and seconds. The date window is a little hard to read, but has a small red color to the side to help draw your eye towards it. The primary reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the band is a little bit too long and doesn’t bend well to fit normal sized wrists. It is comfortable with an inner lining that makes it feel smooth. I like this watch!
Love it. Feels solid but is lightweight. Offen sleep in it and have no problems. Strap is high quality too. Been very accurate so far.
NO WAY TO TELL TIME IN THE DARK THOUGH! Which is my fault for not reading the description properly.
I will admit, however, that it feels a little light, almost plasticky. The BN0035 looks solid and impressive in the photos, but it’s a little underwhelming coming out of the box. I also have Braun’s BN0024 Classic Analog (http://www.amazon.com/Braun-BN0024WHBKG-Classic-Analog-Display/dp/B004X4KVXA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1458302196&sr=8-1&keywords=braun+watch). Even though the watches are very similar, my BN0024 seems a little heftier. Perhaps the black anodized metal of the BN0035 is what makes it feel a little more “tinny” compared to the raw metal case of the BN0024.
These are subjective assessments, though. The only solid, objective complaint I have is against the poor-qualitystrap. It looks nice at first, with a two-layer band of leather on the outside and a softer perforated material on the inside resting against the skin. This inner material is comfortable and wicks away sweat (unlike the BN0024 which has a thick all-leather strap that can be uncomfortable on hot days). However, the two layers have begun to separate right where you have to bend the strap to fit it in the buckle. It began to separate fairly quickly after I got the watch, and it’s gotten worse with time. I also think the outer leather, while supposedly “genuine,” looks very cheap. Almost synthetic. Replacement straps from Braun are tough to find, and to further complicate matters is the fact that the watch strap is 20mm wide, but where it connects is only 18mm. So it’s almost impossible to find a matching replacement strap anywhere else. Very frustrating.
An ageless watch first released in the 70s and recently re-released, designed by the design god Dieter Rams. This watch, although appearing simple in design compared to other modern watches will delight you every time you look at it. Its crisp numerals and details work well with the clean white background to make something familiar yet always new when looking at it over and over again.
I have received many comments about this watch, always positive ones, in the middle of conversations people will give me a compliment out of nowhere, the best one being: ‘for a toothbrush brand they know how to make a good watch’. This is the only real shame with Braun watches, outside of Germany they aren’t really recognised except by design enthusiasts like myself, they deserve better press.
The leather strap will also last you a very long while, its thickness in comparison to other watches means it doesn’t wear as quickly, and as my daily watch I would say it has lasted quite well. Because the glass is completely flat you wont see scratches even if you get any unless you look at it from a funny angle. I am 18 yrs old and would say it has lasted quite well on the wrist of a teenager.

Warum ist das automatisch ein Mangel? Die Marke Braun gehrt mittlerweile zu Procter & Gamble und fr die “Wiederbelebung” wurde ein sehr bekannter Designer mit Lehrauftrag in Wuppertal engagiert: Prof. Oliver Grabes. Es wurde von Ihm betont das hier nicht einfach die “alten” Designs verwendet werden sollten, sondern er eigenstndige, moderne Designs auf basis des Braun Stils entwerfen wollte. Verstndlich und auch sehr gut gelungen.
Die Uhr selbst ist fr den Preis sehr gut verarbeitet. Gerade noch klein genug um nicht klobig zu wirken — schade das es heutzutage so schwer “kleiner” Uhren zu finden. 38 mm htten mit bei dieser Uhr besser gefallen. Das Mineralglas ist fr die Preisklasse ganz normal und so kratzfest wie es eben sein kann. Das Edelstahlgehuse und das Armband sind sehr gut gemacht.
Mir gefallen die Details: keine runden Lcher fr die Schliee, sondern rechteckige fr einen flachen, breiten Schliedorn, der sich sehr angenehm anfhlt, weil man ihn nicht fhlt. Das Gehuse ist mattiertes Edelstahl, und die Schliee ebenso. Die Innenteil des Armbandes ist aus sehr weichem Leder, im Grauton des mattierten Edelstahls und ergibt so ein tolles, harmonisches Bild.
Die Uhr geht bei mir ziemlich przise, ich habe sie bis jetzt noch nicht nachstellen mssen. Die Knpfe fr die Stoppuhr machen leider ein “billiges” Klick-Gerusch — irgendwie fhlt und hrt es sich hohl und etwas wie eine Blechdose an, dass trbt den sonst wertigen Eindruck etwas.
Aber wie oft benutzt man das schon?
Fazit fr mich:
Ich habe die Uhr gekauft weil ich mich in das Design verliebt habe und ich mir bewusst war das ich fr diesen Preis nur eine ordentlich verarbeitet “Alltagsuhr” zum tragen und vermackeln erwarten sollte. Ich wurde nicht enttuscht: die Uhr ist wirklich gut verarbeitet und sieht Klasse aus. Nicht mehr und nicht weniger. Fr diesen Preis ein gutes Ding fr den Alltag.
Was ich fr den Kaufpreis erwartet habe wurde voll erfllt, oder sogar bertroffen. Ich bin sehr zufrieden.
Deswegen zum Ausgleich 5 Sterne von mir 😉
P.S.: Ich bin zwar mnnlich, habe aber schmalere Handgelenke und ich musste das Band auf das aller-kleinste Loch stecken, und das ist ein wenig “doof”.Wie gesagt: der Uhrenmarkt sit fr Mnner etwas schwierig geworden, wenn man nicht XL-Uhren und Xl-Bnder braucht. Aber, naja. 😉
I like the restrained styling. It’s light and comfortable to wear. The battery has lasted a long time. Highly recommended.
If you like gold, glittery, and over-the-top watches, then the Braun line isn’t for you. This watch represents a cultured lifestyle of design-oriented choices. The Braun looks good with casual apparel or with dress attire.
The pure-white face is very unique, and can give it a slightly sterile look at first, but you will quickly warm to the sturdy Braun. The German watch movement and chronograph are precise (silent, too) and I’ve never had a problem with the timekeeping functions. It is also very lightweight, and I love the thin band and clasp. The face looks gorgeous at night in a brightly lit room. In the day, when outdoors, you can often see a reflection of your surroundings in the glass.
It isn’t very showy, so there’s a lot of people who don’t notice it. But the ones who do truly appreciate the beauty of it’s simplicity will fall in love with this watch, and you will feel a subtle alignment of ideology.
The only negative thing I will note about the watch is that the (aluminum?) ring surrounding the watch face seems to scratch quite easily, so be careful with what you knock it against. I also wish it had an night-glow function (like Timex Indiglo), to complete the focus on perfectly executed function by design.
Pure elegance. Date is a little small and the third dial is this new strange way to tell the time with just one hand. Still, it does have a one hour stopwatch
Love the design and nod to braun heritage. I would give 5 stars but the face scratches easily and the leather strap feels slightly cheap. Would definitely still recommend the watch though.
I think my wrist is weird/bony as I find the watch head and strap slightly uncomfortable. Notch 2 is too tight, notch 3 is too loose. And also a shame there’s no glow in the dark, I miss my backlight on my old watch. Nice clear face though, and the leather feels solid.

I purchased this as a watch to wear to work and it does most things fine. The buttons are of a good size to operate and the function of telling the time is very clear due to the white background. The strap is very comfortable but I am not sure as to how durable it will prove to be.
The one downside to this watch is the date function. When it is on double digit numbers even with my reading glasses on I struggle to see the numbers which is a shame as it is the only thing that spoils this stylish product.
I have sought a watch in my declining years that I can read without the aid of glasses. Thus far I have not been successful. However this watch not only gives me that facility it also is very stylishand contains other useful facilities. I am delighted with my Braun Quartz Chronograph.
This watch is great, it is lightweight, comfortable, well made and easy to read. It is the best chronograph you can buy for under 200 and has won numerous design awards.

Ich war schon immer scharf auf eine Brau Uhr und das war das passende Angebot!
Die Verarbeitungsqualitt ist natrlich nicht die einer 1000,- Uhr aber ich finde sie hat ein super Preis Leistungsverhltnis.
Es ist auch kein Chrongraph im eigentlichen Sinn, da das kleine Zifferblatt rechts eine Uhr ist, die in einem 24 h Fenster anzeigt ob es Vormittags oder Nachmittags ist, also eigentlich nutzlos 🙂
Beim Stoppen (ich finde die Drcker sehr gut und przise) wird also nur Sekunde und Minute gestoppt. Der hier beschriebenen Fehler des nicht zurckspringens tritt bei meiner Uhr nicht auf.
Ich kann die Uhr zu dem Preis nur empfehlen!

Great looking watch, the strap feels a bit stiff and plasticy at first (even though it’s leather) but after a week it feels much more comfortable. Contrary to what many blogs/online stores lead you to believe, this watch wasn’t designed by Dieter Rams, it’s a reissue of the watches braun made in the 70’s – with a definite nod to Rams bauhaus/sporty minimalism.
IMO the only other contender for quartz movement chronographs in a minimal style would be the uniform wares 302, but at 600+ it’s ridiculously priced. I like the look of the braun more too!

An excellent daily use watch.
Minimalist styling, good legibility, reasonable comfort and light weight are plus points, the so-called leather strap looks more like plastic and I think a silicon strap would be more comfortable and more in keeping with the design ethos.
I love the look of the watch, the style is very nice.
Is VERY VERY confortable to use, nice leather quality.
The only problem I found is that the time pice itself is not a high quality one, is more of the regular chines ons but in a very stylish watch… I have been using it for 1 week and i am very happy… I felt a bit cheat by the fact that the watch cost 133.00 and the quality of the time pice feel a bit more like 75.00 but i must say that the look is amazing.
If you a re looking for a nice watch for every day not very expensive but looking awesome go for it. If you want the best german time pice of your life this watch is not for you.

A testament to Amazon’s customer service; I was originally sent the 3 hand movement version rather than the chronograph version on accident, and upon emailing I received a reply within a couple hours, and the correct one was dispatched the same day. Great service, highly recommend.

1) It looks awesome, It follows Dieter Rams Design Principles of “Less, but better”, principles I share which makes it even more pleasurable to watch.
2) Its very confortable to wear, leather feels great and its light enough you can forget you are wearing.
3) Price, I bought it for 160 here (It has gone up slightly now) despite the low price I can tell this watch is going to last me for a very long time.
