wasn’t for me but my father was very happy with
Bought this as I wanted the convenience of being able to shave on the move, one of those guys who wet shave. It’s ok doesn’t shave as close as a razor but does what it was bought for.
I bought this for my partner. He was very pleased with it said every easy to use
I brought this shaver when I left my one in Spain. It works well for the cost. The attachments are handy. But be careful how you use them on a beard.
I found it takes longer to shave. Compared with my other one . But that cost a lot more
Shame about the replacement blades being so expensive. Note:
I tried a cheaper one with the white trip in the middle that said it would fit but it pinched while shaving.
Get the correct version.
Really good shaver my husband loves it, Best shaver he’s had
Very powerful and always has enough battery to do a full shave. The beads are easily changeable can switch them very quickly. Cleaning is relatively easy. Will need to be the adaptor for it but the product itself is it’s all round very good
Good battery charge lasting about one week with daily use. A reasonable shave for non wet shave.
The charge cord was good for travel but my existing same bayonet stand type is better at home.
It works as described, I hate shaving at the best of times.
No to bad but not the best need a long shave to be effective GW
I’ve only had it for a couple of weeks so I can’t really say
I purchased it after researching, and I had a small budget. The battery life is acceptable. It stays for two shaves for me and takes about 15-20 minutes for every round. It is pretty good with sensitive skin, and I have no feelings of irritation after the shave(compared to my old Philishave). I liked the trimmer.
However, the shaver itself is not that strong, and I don’t recommend it to people with solid beards.
Shaver works really well, but in the production description says it come with a trimmer it doesn’t,also in the manual it tells you how to use the trimmer,so if you need a trimmer don’t buy
I almost didn’t buy this because of a few negative reviews. I’m puzzled by the negatives as I found the shaver to be a good performer. After using my previous Braun electric razor for 10 years (and replaced the foils now and again) I’m amazed at how much quicker this new version shaves (about a quarter of the time my old shaver took) and shaves comfortably close without razor burn. You can wet shave with this razor going by the blurb but I don’t see the point of this so I just dry shave with it. This was a third of the price of other shavers I looked at but I’m glad I chose this one for a no nonsense decent shave.
This is a very good razor and gives a good clean shave however, the sales description states, “Braun Series 3 ProSkin Electric Shaver For Men With Pop Up Precision Trimmer”.
Also in the details listed it says, “Built-in pop up precision trimmer, ideal for shaping moustaches and sideburns”.
There is no trimmer on this razor and had it not been for the fact that I had already used it to shave, I would have returned it.
FEEL I HAVE BEEN MIS-SOLD THIS RAZOR.
…it might not work for everyone that uses it because that’s the way of things. Every face is different, it doesn’t mean the razor is rubbish. I have used these models of shaver for a number of years, shave in the shower with oil and it works really well for me. Unlucky if it doesn’t suit your skin/beard type.
Works well enough.
Battery seems to last for several shaves in between needing a recharge. Recharges quite quickly.
Gives a reasonably close shave.
Lacks some of the features of more expensive razors, this is reflected in the price.
Comes with recharge cable and a plastic guard to protect the foils in between uses, but no storage pouch.
I’ve been using Braun razors since I was 16 and this one is the best by far. It’s gives a very close shave. It feels good in the hand: it’s not too heavy and has a comfortable rubber grip. The battery life is very good: it generally lasts me about a week on a full charge. The only negative thing I can say is the foil does tend to get a bit hot after about 5 minutes continuous operation which is something I’ve never notice before with my previous razors. This can be easily remedied however by just running it under the cold tap for a second or two. Overall though this is a top quality product at a very reasonable price. I strongly recommend it.
I have quite thick stubble and i like to keep myself clean shaven, i found this trimmer to be really good at cutting the fine hairs on my face and i dont get any razor bumps at all like i would from a normal razor, the battery life was terrible, i could only shave twice before having to charge it again and when it’s low on charge it tends to be really slow at cutting the hairs on your face, overall it’s a decent trimmer for the price 7/10
Having used Philips shavers for many decades and the last one being the most expensive I had paid for a shaver somehow was not shaving as good as I thought it should. I just thought it was because I was getting older that my hair was getting stronger as it was taking longer to shave. I saw the Braun was on offer so bought it. . .Boy was I in for a shock, the shave was the closest I have had in years ( other than a wet shave) my only regret is I should have bought it soone
In use as a wet and dry shaver this fits the bill, for those that dont have a beard. If you do have a beaerd getting one with an integral trimmer like my last Series 3 braun shaver would be better.
I like the way it feels as I use it, easy to hold.
