It allowed me to use Apple CarPlay wirelessly but the connection is easily interrupted which requires me to disconnect and reconnect the usb each time. When it works it’s good.
Great price and works really well with my iPhone 13 and Mustang GT car.
Getting bells and whistles that you are never going to use makes devices more expensive and flakey in use. This is a nice reliable quick to connect and boot up unit. It is not instant but none of them are. By the time that I have put my seat belt on it is ready to use Waze, Music & Radar Trap warning s/w. I have been using it for months now and it is reliable nice little unit.
After getting though a couple of reviews, this seemed like the best option for getting CarPlay into the car.
Set up is simple as, and the connection was solid on use, and really improved the quality of calls.
I however couldn’t justify its use as the Bluetooth option for what I used it for (Apple Maps & Spotify) just left me with a flat battery, so reverted back to a hard wire.
I purchased this device for my Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line 2017. Once unboxed and transferred to car it took about two minutes to install. Be patient and do not expect things to work quite as fast as the wired system Also read all the screens on both the phone and the car before making selections and you should have no problem with installing it. My phone connects within 60 seconds of entering the car and car-play works as anticipated. A great product.
As someone who is always on the road, I was excited to try out the CarlinKit 3.0 Wireless CarPlay adapter in my Jaguar F-PACE. It has been a game-changer for my daily commute, as it allows me to easily access music, navigation, and hands-free calling without having to fumble with my phone and plug wires in. The setup was quick and easy, and I was impressed with the strong Bluetooth connectivity that ensures uninterrupted streaming and calls. There is a slight (2-3 second) delay when changing tracks by clicking on the CarPlay interface but you soon get used to it and it’s not a major issue.
Once connected, it becomes a “set it and forget it” device. Its compact size allows it to be tucked out of the way. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with the CarlinKit 3.0 Wireless CarPlay adapter and highly recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their driving experience.
