Bought to replace a 30 year old extractor fan. Does not need an outlet to the outside. Time will tell how good the filters are. Clears/ cleans/removes the cooking smells effectivly. The light is bright and does highlight the cooking on the hob. When the maximum fan is on it is a bit noisy.

Very pleased with this in our swanky new kitchen. Looks the part, was easy to install and, albeit a tad noisy, I doubt it is any more so than others on the market. It was also a great price. It was installed only in May this year (2023) so longevity I cannot comment on, but overall, we are happy with this item and would recommend to anyone who is on a budget or, otherwise. Why spend more than you need?

Extraction not as good when using the carbon filters compared to when using chimney extraction, but does the job.Nice looking unit,a couple of holes on the template are in the wrong place so be aware very annoying.

Looks really good and the suction on this hood is powerful. I’m so pleased that it has adjustable fan speeds because different cooking methods needs different suction.
Easy to use and the price is spot o

Was shopping around for a reasonably priced cooker hood / extractor and the reviews for this were very good. Certainly compared very favourably to many high street options on both price and review ratings. I have to say, I’m very pleased with the purchase. It came with everything you needed, carbon filters if no external vent was available and tube if it was. It looks great, is performing well and was easy to install. If you want something decent, but don’t want to spend big money, this is a great choice.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersInstallation a dream. Just used plaster wall fixings and installed securely this way. Rawl plugs for this wall won’t do so need the other fixings. Levelled up, installed and tested. Works a treat. However I done the suction test, still the same noise for us in recirculating mode as the main vented to outside mode – no change Thankfully. But noticed that in modes 1 the kitchen towel floated a little more than 2 and 3 it sucked up nice and good. Only downside with balancing the noise to suction. Plug replaced and directly into the main electrical fused spur. But I’m happy. The family love it. There’s now one installed!

Can’t understand (as a previously qualified electrician) why you are supposed to put a power socket in the chimney… means you have to take the thing apart to turn the power off. Apart from that (and the fact I had to order it twice – but that’s the fault of strikes and carriage problems, not the supplier) it seems fine.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersAfter reading the reviews I nearly didn’t buy this, but after looking at branded more expensive hoods with not much better reviews I chose this as the duct kit and carbon filters came with it, and the reviews stated people either really loved or hated it, so we took a chance & for price thought it was a cheaper option if it was a bad buy. However, turned out to be a great choice, we have the 90cm black hood, and have used it now for 3 weeks, hubby found it very easy and straight forward to install, (replacing an old one) we have universal filters so use them as well as the carbon, the suction Is great on all 3 settings used as directed, the light looks good and really does look good as a back light on an evening, the motor noise is a lot quieter than the last hood we had up, it was noticed straight away. And finally it looks fantastic and finishes my kitchen off beautifully. All in all I’m extremely pleased we took a chance on this one, we’ve saved nearly 300 and feel it’s a win win. So if like me your put off by the bad reviews, concentrate more on the good ones and listen to our experiences of this hood.

Very straightforward to install, another pair of hands is helpful, just as it’s quite large.

Wall fittings were supplied. Also the actual size paper wall plan was extremely helpful in judging final fitting position so we could line it up with the wall stud for extra support

We have the charcoal filters in place instead of the outside vent installed but it’s dealing well with steam and smells nonetheless
Light is good as a general background, not so hot as as task light, gives enough light to potter about kitchen to make a coffee or so the cats don’t have to eat in the dark!
Controls are simple, easy to use and feel good, not flimsy.
Corners look lethal though, maybe it’s my height but they are right at temple/eye level, had a couple of near misses so have fitted a pair of those baby bumper silicon corner things.

It looks a good deal more expensive that is was, arrived well packaged and before estimated date

Overall very pleased with it and would recommend.

I xan’t remember how much I paid for it, but it was reduced price at the time, so compared to others similar I would say it was good value.
I’ve never taken it higher than lowest speed, but that seems to do th job OK.
The light is good, but a diode would have been better.
Looks OK, but would have prefered white instead of steel, (I can feel a tin of spray comming on).
It does the job. I’m a happy buyer.

I spent ages looking for a new extrator fan, buying 2 second hand ones from ebay, both useless and waisted my time – got this one instead and why I didnt just do this in the first place I dont know

its really easy to install and comes with a hanging template, suction is good, its a bit loud but its in a chimney so echos a bit but certainly not annoyingly loud

i dont like the colour the light gives off, a cool white/blue, find for cooking but not pleasing to the eye / deco

its cheap and cheerful and does the job – not much more to say

Easy ordering, prompt delivery (arrived a day early) easy to install by one person, looks really good, only negative for me is that it is very loud even on the lowest setting, had hoped for something a bit quieter having read the blurb saying low noise.

    Pros,
    seems to be well made
    Very easy to fit
Little bit small in height than other 900 units

    Cons,
Seems a bit loud but it’s not like it’s on all the time
    Light very dull

Don’t normally write reviews on things, but wanted to say how surprised I am by the service from this company, I fitted the first extractor 4 months ago, all was fine until one day the fan stopped, I sent an email which was answered following day requesting a video of the fault and photo of the label with model number, 5 days later I received replacement , no problems at all, only thing I will say is the new one seems noisier than the old one, it does extract reasonably well he can be noisy when standing next to it, but to sum up, superb service from this company …..

This is a great replacement hood for our old one. Not so loud as the old one and is very effective. It fitted in perfectly all we needed was a reducer for the extractor hose so it would fit in our existing hole through the wall. A reducer and short piece of hose from screwfix fixed this. All done in a few hours. The light is at the back but you quickly get used to that. Would benefit from an additional light at the front. But this is perfect as a replacement for an old cooker hood. Very pleased with Cooker hood and looks much smarter than our old one. Great Product and Great Value.

Had to replace the extractor as bearings had gone on the 12 year old motor. Cheaper to buy new whole hood than justthe replacement motor! New extractor so much quieter its great. Only dissapointment is it only has 1 lamp

This looks nice but it is quite flimsy. I guess it’s ok as it’s not touched alot but my old one was more sturdier and guess I’m use to that. Easy to install and looks compact. However I wouldnt say the it removed the steam ect from cooking as efficiently as I’d like even on full power.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersGreat buy, perfect size for my 60mm cooker, found my last one too narrow to catch the steam if I had a two or more hobs going. Usually only use the lowest fan setting and it does the trick. Noise is what you’d expect. I would have expected two lights on this size model, but the one lcd light is well bright enough, I’m guessing for the price they wasn’t gonna trow that in.. Set up, super easy. One bracket and the hood slides on. As for the chimney, same one or two small brackets depending on how high you put it.. Had it for a few months now and very happy..

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersBought this hood to replce our 5 yr old curved glass hood that recently broke. The first thing I noticed was how much larger the filteration area is on this hood (full width verses 1 central filter on the previous one) It was a fairly straightforward swap apart from the new hood has a 6″ exhaust and the old hood was 5″ Found a suitable reducing ring in screwfix for under 2 Took a couple of hours to fit and works great. I am happy to recommend this hood as I think it is a definite improvement on our last hood.
