Mixed age group able to engage and take part. The whole stages was very well planned and adds to the suspense of solving the murder. Already got my next one, Murder at the Movie Theatre.. so excited. Something different and challenging to start a series of celebrations for my 60th birthday. 1st one of these fab cryptic killer’s murder packs was Murder of a Millionaire. Also amazing. So pleased my son put me on to these. Fab value for money
Myself and my partner saw this on Tiktok and thought as we have an Amazon voucher let’s give it a go. If we don’t like it we don’t like it. We were very wrong! This was such a fun date night. Such an immersive activity and with so much evidence made it really difficult and realistic. It took us 2.5 hours to finish but didn’t feel like it at all! I will 100% happily pay for another out my own money this time! If you are hesitating then don’t even think twice well worth it.
My partner & I love things like escape rooms and murder mystery games but with a toddler it’s much harder to get out for date nights now so when we saw this it went straight in the basket!
Not only is the game itself so entertaining but the quality of the resources included is amazing and you can really tell a lot of care and thought has gone into creating these games/experiences for people.
We’re definitely going to be trying the other cases out soon and I would honestly recommend these to anyone who either loves mystery games like us or if you’re just looking for something new and interesting to try!
This is the second case file my partner and I have completed and we absolutely love them. It’s really exciting when we figure out clues and connect the dots with the evidence. We truly feel like detectives.
I purchased this murder mystery pack for my husbands birthday, after completely a different one previously we had to get another one! The amount of detail you get in these packs is incredible and they’re very addictive. We will definitely be getting another one very soon!
Took us way longer to complete than suggested, we missed a couple of vital clues in the first pack but then got into it better by pack two! looking forward to doing another one kept us entertained all night. Good fun!
Our first time trying, we chose to do the medluck murder case and it was amazing! All evidence was understandable and linked cleverly! SOOOOO worth the money! took us the amount of time it said it would to! Don’t worry about it being too difficult since there are online hints that can assist you if needed! PLEASE TRY!
his is amazing all the details like a real life case has inspired me to become a detective when im older and i hope it works out. definitely ordering another case as soon as i get the money. i get all the hype the most amazing thing to get you thinking while having fun during the summer! LOVE THIS PRODUCT.
I love these games and I’ve tried a few brands now. These are so authentic in their packaging and I love the digital elements too. This one was our toughest yet. We thought we’d figured it all out in step 1 and outsmarted the game but then we got to step 3 and it threw a spanner in the works! Great fun and will definitely be getting more.
A group of 6 of us tackled this for a girls night. Took us about 3-4 hours. It was fantastic and put together so well. Will definitely be getting more of these in the future
A fun way to spend an afternoon. Just enough challenge to make it enjoyable. Very cleverly constructed game with a good range of clues and variety of tasks to keep you entertained.
We used this for a couple date nights and had a blast we found the first part finding the password for the police login the most difficult and thought we would be rubbish but ended up loving the game there is a great clue system we avoided and only used at the very beginning to get into the online system overall we had a great time and will be buying another very shortly!

My partner and I did this cryptic killers cold case for date night (s)! It is thorough and the materials work well together, my only slight bugbear is that not all of the pictures are clear enough. Otherwise, really good fun and value for money.
Bought this as a fun activity for my daughter and I, it did not disappoint, lots of evidence to go through it does state 3hrs! More like 5hrs with snack breaks.

I got one of these as both me and my partner love crime shows. So decided to be detectives ourselves! Part one took us longer than expected, but part 2 and 3 we got through quite quickly. But we had great fun doing it. Lots of evidence to look through and read, debates happened and even my 12 year son was interested in trying to join in! (Obviously I said he wasn’t old enough) can’t wait to try the next one!
However, while I do give this game 5 stars, I would honestly put it as a 4.7 stars. 0.3 stars lacking due to the fact I was left wanting for more resolution and a proper closure in the end. While it was definitely fulfilling and satisfying, there were some loose ends that I really wanted answers on. I’ll keep it vague, but I think people who play this game will understand which ones I’m talking about. I hope in future games from Cryptic Killers theres more closure in the characters and other plot-lines. Still a truly good game though!
It is definitely not the best for beginners, do not use this for your first time solving case files. That being said I really enjoyed it and would recommend it as well as trying another one myself later on in life.

we have now down 3 of theses files and have enjoyed them thoroughly! great for large groups takes a few a couple of hours to solve! all the hours of watching true crime pays off would definitely recommend

This is our 2nd cryptic killers kits we have done (Other being murder of a millionaire) both were fantastic!
This one was more difficult and it took us considerably longer but we enjoyed every minute!

Loved the detail and drip feed of intel. Took a decent amount of time to figure out each clue. Loved it, chose it for a stay at home date night. Would recommend and will be buying another one soon.
Thoroughly enjoyed this. First part is quite heavy on evidence but once you get going, it really unravels key clues which builds excitement. Only constructive feedback would be to ensure there is a clear motive for the crime, which we couldn’t find!
Really enjoyed doing this! 4 adults and it took us about 3 hours to do. Was tricky enough to test us but we didn’t need the clues, got the answers right and a great evening had. Would definitely do another one!
it was really fun to do its like you are a real detective solving crimes and there was so much detail in the case files and i liked that some of the evidence is on line. i would defiantly buy a different one
Really enjoyed going through this, interesting case with twists and turns. Really cool packaging almost felt like an actual detective! I would say that parts 2 and 3 didn’t take as long as anticipated, which could be good or bad depending on how long you want to play. My only criticism is that the cctv images could be printed a bit better as it was really hard to pull information from those 🙂
I bought this for my husbands birthday as an activity to do instead of going out, and it was absolutely fantastic! Everything was so well made and such high quality, was 10x more interactive than I thought it would be and took us about 4 hours to complete. there were no loose ends and everything tied together exceptionally well. 10/10 would recommend, definitely buying more for the future
The quality of this murder mystery experience cannot go without mention. All the files and pieces of evidence feel exceptionally real and immersive. Furthermore, the addition of online elements bring even more immersion to the thrill of hunting a killer. The chapter-like nature of the game also brings a quality narrative to the product. Overall, would recommend one of these to anyone who is even considering buying.

The evidence is very detailed and interactive. The story line was well written and detailed & the quality of the product was amazing.

Worth every penny. So clever how all parts of the game are linked and makes you really think. It was useful how the game can be ‘paused’ after each section if needed. We will be buying more!

This is the final cryptic killers file I’ve bought and I’ve now completed all of them. This has good length of content and it a group of five of us around half a day to complete. The quality of evidence and attention to detail is very high.
Honestly, I didn’t expect this game to be so much fun – the storyline is very well written (much better than bigger competitor games that we played before), all the clues and game items are highly quality, the email component is just awesome. In general, it was a great bonding experience for me and my partner and we’ve already ordered another scenario to play with our friends. Strongly recommend!

Played this with a friend, it took us just under two hours but I think it might actually take longer with more people in a larger group, so definitely good value for money.
It’s a well put together set – we were missing one piece of evidence but the online thing worked, and we had no problems accessing any of the online elements. Would definitely recommend for people unfamiliar with escape rooms who want to see if they’d enjoy the problem solving in a more structured way, but also for more experienced people who want to be able to take their time and maybe be a bit more social.
Perfect way of spending an evening in. Well designed material. Decent plot. The answers are flagged slightly too obviously but good fun nonetheless, will buy others. 20 for an evenings entertainment we’ll worthwhile
This case file was bought as a birthday present, and it’s been a really fun experience! The evidence is really well written, there’s plenty to look through, and it was really enjoyable to work through it all and solve the puzzles/mystery!

We bought this as a date night activity. Lots of evidence – both physical and online were provided, which made it exciting because it felt so real. The evidence provided was detailed. There was one that stuck out to the both of us – the one which required us to decrypt a code. Initially it went over our heads, but attention to detail allowed us to find the piece of information we needed! It wasn’t too difficult to find, thank god… The evidence came in three parts, which pointed us in the right direction. It was all so meticulously crafted, mimicking the types of documents you see on those crime documentaries! Defo will buy from them agai

Me and my partner had so much fun finding the killer. The clues and evidence were so well put together and surprisingly realistic. It was very easy to navigate. Can’t wait to do it again for date night. Great for us with kids and saving money for date night.
Bought this to try with the wife, something a little more involved than watching TV together, and we really enjoyed it. The game packs looked really good and official, with witness statements, CCTV stills and phone log records to look through, and we actually enjoyed the process of figuring out the killer! I don’t know if these games have a difficulty rating but we managed to finish this in under an hour – a little short but maybe we’re just a pair or Sherlocks lol. Would recommend if you want to spend time doing something a little different, and we’ll be purchasing and playing more in the near future.

Loved this pack. The evidence was so detailed and we loved how intricate the evidence was. Makes you think in a a good way about all the different pieces of the investigation. Will 100% get another pack.
LOVED this one! Me and my friend have been working our way through these and this one was so fun! There was so many small details to look out for which ultimately led to the true killer. There was twists and turns along the way which made for a very fun night in!
I have completed all of the case files in this series and as with the rest this latest one does not disappoint. Had me hooked from start to finish.
