I was searching for a decent carrier for my 6wk old and this seemed the best option, she loves it, it’s really easy to put on and so comfortable, has definitely eased some pressure from my back. Managed to get it from Amazon for 70 and would definitely buy it again at that price. Beautiful cream colour too.

I have been using this since my baby was 3 weeks old, she is now 11 weeks old. I bought it for the school runs and it has been amazing. I am so glad I bought this. It’s a lovely soft material, it’s comfortable and very easy to use – there are lots of videos online if anyone struggles with the instructions. Well worth the money and highly recommend!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis has to be the 3rd I tried and been using it for nearly 3 months now. I am so so pleased with it as It buckles up super fast and same for when I have to take baby out of it (literally 10 secs)
Soft fabric; a very well made carrier!

Not the easiest to assemble on you when you have the little one and does require another pair of hands but is sturdy and comfortable for our baby.
Worth the purchase and has been used a lot..

It is soft, comfy, even if you are taking your baby on a long walk, expecting to have to be wearing it for hours. The straps hig your shoulders as opposed to cutting into them and your little one is as snug as a bug in a rug, close to your heart.
We had al sorts of carriers and nothing could beat certain Bjorn…unless it was equally expensive, but this can and does, despite being almost half the price.
    Definitely recommend.
If you are buying this, look for a matching rain cover – we have found it Uber useful in this weather!

Quite simply the best baby carrier I have used. At 99.99 it might be pricey, but this is a baby carrier for life and can even be handed down to other new mothers.
The support feature is excellent and it is built right into the ergonomic design. For the baby it is much better as his legs dont just hang.
I also really enjoy how soft and comfortable the product is, it makes wearing the product almost enjoyable, as the material soft and breathable and very easy to keep clean.
I cant laud this product enough.

It’s not our first time trying Ergobaby products, and this is no different in terms of quality and reliability. This Ergobaby baby carrier is very well-made, looks decent, lightweight, and does the job pretty well. The cross shoulder straps are very comfortable and adjust as needed. It has several support layers, and does ensure security and comfort of the little one. As long as the little one is 12 months or less, then this carrier should be fine.

I think the most convenient thing about this is the cushioned support, it definitely provides more comfort to the little one compared to our old carrier.

This baby carrier is great. It’s lightweight, breathable, and safe for baby, as baby’s leg won’t hang straight down.
    Comfortable.
I already own Lillebaby complete all season baby carrier. I use it almost daily.
This Ergobaby carrier is a lot very lighter than the Lillebaby carrier. A lot better for the summer that’s for sure.
The instruction wasn’t the easiest to understand. So i searched for this carrier on YouTube, and I found some videos from Ergobabyhow to use it. I found them really helpful, and helped how to wear this baby carrier in the correct way.
Unfortunately this baby carrier is quite expensive and it lasts only for the first 12 months or so, up to 11.3 kg.
My Lillebaby carrier can last up to 20kg, so can even carry a toddler.
If you plan to carry your baby in the carrier for the first year I think this carrier could be great for you.

An ultra-light carrier that will keep baby snug and safe at all times. The carrier is super easy to use and the fabric is soft and lovely to touch.

I love these lightweight options as to be honest we have had some really bulky ones over the years that have felt secure but have also added a lot of extra weight. This is perfect for the job.

What a fantastic baby carrier this is by Ergobaby! It is not only supportive, but also looks and feels great. The material is soft and soothing on both the inside and outside, providing a comfortable experience for both the baby and the parent holding them. I love that this carrier has an amazing mesh design unlike some other competitors I’ve tested in the past. This is perfect for the summer to avoid your baby sweating, whilst keeping them well looked after in regards to posture. I am also very fond of how adjustable this carrier is, it can be adjusted in several locations, meaning any sized baby can be well supported and close their parent at all times.

I love the colour also, the neutral light tone of the grey can easily be fitted with various outfits, so won’t stand out too much. The material used is premium quality and heavy duty, so fear not when it comes to your childs safety, the material won’t rip or break on you. I love the packaging and overall presentation, very welcoming for parents, making it a very practical gift for a loved one who just became a parent.

Overall, very good quality and well worth the money! 5 stars!

Thank you for reading my honest review, I hope you found it helpful! 🙂

ErgoBaby products have always been exceptional – they’re high quality and work effectively, this carrier called ‘Embrace’ quite simply offers that.

It feels well-made, durable and is very comfortable to wear – the carrier is comfortable when used on the teller area.

The material is lightweight, and ‘breathable’ it doesn’t become warm or irritating when worn for longer periods of times, ideal for use in the summer or hotter climates.

Easy to use, straightforward functionality – three buckled design allows for quick attachment. Easy to adjust. It offers plenty of support.

Based on my experience using this product, I would highly recommend it and do feel it’s excellent value for money.

Key to a good baby carrier is the waist strap – it needs to be large and well padded and fit snug against the waist in order to transfer most of the weight of baby. You don’t want all the weight on your shoulders. This Ergobaby carrier does that well and makes for a good baby carrier. The materials and padding feel high quality all round and suitably breathable.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersWe had a few other slings given to us, really popular ones but i ended up buying this one at the time as our little girl was on the small side, and it looked nice and snug. Having had a c section other slings where not that comfortable and really fiddly to get on.

This has been a god send! When she was really small it was the only one she was comfy in and would nap happily as we walked around. Now even at 6 months she loves it, she is much bigger now but its very supportive and comfortable to wear.

I found it easier to get on compared to other styles and it rolls up really compact so i keep it with me just in case. I also found other styles that are bulky make the baby and mum rather hot! This one is much better material if you are on the warmer side like me.

I cant recommend this enough it has really been an essential to us since having out little one x

Much prefer this baby carrier with adjustable straps over a fiddly sling wrap any day as its easier to get the baby in and easier to put on and adjust quickly. A neutral grey colour suitable for any gender, with padded shoulders feels like your wearing a backpack but at the front.

Distributes weight evenly so doesnt leave you feeling back pain. Good quality and well worth the money.

I got this for my sister to trial with her baby and this was her verdict:

I love this baby carrier. The first impression was it was super lightweight and soft to touch with no rough edges that could rub on baby. I love the fact the material is breathable so my baby won’t get too hot and sweaty. You can just tell when you put it on that it is of great quality and well made, not like some other cheaper versions.
When it was on, I did need help from my husband to get my son positioned in it correctly and to make sure the straps were clipped properly, but I dare say with practice comes confidence and I’ll be doing it by myself in no time.
As my baby is still only young, I have only used the chest position but I find it very comfortable and my son’s head is perfectly supported. I have worn this in many places, the most recent being on a walk in the lake district. I found it to be perfectly comfortable possibly due to the wide shoulder straps. I have an old one that I found got uncomfortable after a while as the shoulder straps were too thin so dug in my shoulders after a while. I’d be more than happy to recommend this even though I was a little surprised at how much it retails for but then safety and quality is more important. After trying this product, I’d be more than happy to recommend it to any of my mummy friends. 5/5

5.0 out of 5 stars A brilliant baby carrier that's safe

This is a very well made baby carrier from Ergobaby. The materials used are soft to the touch and feature small ventilation holes to aid with cooling. The plastic hardware is strong and well produced, which is obviously essential when carrying a cargo so precious.

The carrier is very lightweight and flexible which means it can easily be stored in a bag or under the buggy when not in use and I find that the grey (though it’s not the most exciting), works well as a general unisex colour and will hopefully hide any accidental milk or sick spills reasonably well. The good news is that It can also be washed at 30C (according to the label), with a gentle detergent, though not tumble dried or ironed.

The instructions are the only weak point as they aren’t the easiest to follow and I felt this could be made clearer and simpler. Once you get the hang of it, it’s fine but have a good few practices before you need to use it.

The material is soft and lightweight.

This carrier is for newborns up untill there
    11.3 kg in weight.

The baby can be facing you or be forward facing.

The sling is really easy to put on and easy to put the baby in too.

Its easy to wash and is machine washable.

I can’t recommend this sling enough it is so comfortable and gives support.

High quality, so worth the price!

As most mums, I worry if the things i buy for my baby are safe, So safety is pretty much my number one priority when it comes to baby carriers. This one has an ergonomic design that works like a front backpack, Balancing weight on both shoulders, Keeping baby safe and my shoulders pain free.

The mesh material that is built into the design lets my baby breathe without overheating and gives it a nice bit of stretch to allow for a bit of give as my child grows. I could not find any negatives with this front carrier, As it does the job well and is a little more affordable than other models.

So far this has been a safe way to transport my baby without any issues and i have not experienced any back pain. So far, So good.

This baby carrier is well made and made from good quality fabric. It is easy to put on and it’s comfortable. I like the waist strap and I think the weight is distributed evenly. My only issue is the 99 price tag which is obviously quite expensive.

  22. Anonymous says:

    Pros:
    very lightweight.
    very supportive even for newborns.
very easy to put on (I can’t say that for many carriers).
lovely wide shoulder straps so they don’t dig in.
lovely breathable fabric – no sweaty mummy or baby!

    Cons:
    expensive.

This is pricey but very high standard of fabric, ease of use and level of comfort.

I’ve only dropped a star because of the current price.

I hope you find my review helpful

It offers unmatched safety and excellent weight distribution.
It has a safety system with protection points that are very easy for the parent to open.
It is durable, safe and very comfortable. The child can look at the world from various points of view, being comfortable and safe.
I was struck by the great stability of both myself and the child. It has excellent features such as fresh and breathable fabric.

Straight out of the box, this feels like a good quality baby carrier, ideal for a first time mum, or as a gift for one.

The material feels very soft and breathable and it has a waist belt for added support. I’m yet to wash it, but I don’t envisage any issues.

It has three buckles in total that are adjustable and feels snug and secure once on and in place. Although you will need someone to help you strap it on and the baby in.

All in all, it’s a great baby carrier, albeit a bit on the expensive side.

I hope you found this review helpful.

Really like this carrier as it is generally simple to put on and I can do that by myself which was the aim of the game – something to make it easier to wear and carry baby when mum is home alone! The diagram instructions are a bit confusing so seek out the online videos for instruction and pay attention to baby length as that determines how much you fold over the carrier. I find the shoulder fabric does tend to ride up which can be a bit annoying but it’s not the end of the world.

Got this one and the 360 and haven’t used the last one yet, felt it was too big for a new born, the embrace though, is great for new borns and baby is 6 months now and we are still using it. One of our best purchases!

I used a baby k’tan for my older 2, and loved it, however with my newborn it was really hurting my back (probably because I’m old now haha). I’ve got an ergo 360, and the Omni 360 which I LOVE, but not so practical for use in the house with a tiny newborn so decided to invest in this since it’s good to a year. I’m so glad I did! Super easy to use, VERY comfortable, lightweight, and folds quite small to put in bag for outings.

Perfect more structured carrier. Generally I use wrap slings but I wanted something a bit sturdier for when I take the baby for dog walks or into town. It’s fiddly to use at first but once you get the hang of it, super easy. Instructions very clear. Soft material.

This sling is amazing. Much easier to use and more comfortable than the more structured slings. Easy to do the clips up yourself if no-one else is around to help. I’ve carried our (currently 5 month old) baby around town and up mountains in this sling. It really is fab and baby seems to find it very comfortable. She often falls asleep in it for hours.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI love, love, love this carrier! I’d been using a couple of baby k’tan wraps with my little one since birth – fab around the house but I found I needed to keep adjusting them when out & about. Thought I’d give a more structured carrier a go & stumbled upon this one. So supportive & comfortable, my chunky baby (3 months, good neck control) is really happy in there & feels secure. (That said, he’s used to being carried – not sure how older babies who have never tried a sling/carrier would fare.) Getting out has become waaay easier! Easy enough to pop on & off once you’ve done it a couple of times. Pricey, but I’m really happy with my purchase. I’d highly recommend!

We tried a few carriers -loans from friends- and then as a last ditch attempt to settle baby for longer I bought this and we are all sooo happy. Baby loves it. Usually has one of her day naps in it which is helping keep her from getting over tired later and so naps well in crib now! Hooray for ergo baby. We had the mesh version for our eldest and still think this one was worth the investment as baby settles in carrier so well.

Not as easy to use as they make out as instructions are not intuitive, but they have a video which explains it better, hence my rating.
My son was asleep when I put him into the sling but not sure how easy it works when he is awake fraying his arms about etc. When trying to do it myself, but am sure I will learn in time to be more confident with that.
Would highly recommend for those who like my son want to be held all the time, so this gives you hands free to get on with just brushing your teeth even or making a feed.

We wanted a baby carrier for our newborn that was compact and supportive for the adult. This was the best option as it seems to be the only premium carrier with lower back support for the adult. Overall it is comfortable and supportive. The competitors don’t have the back support are either really flimsy or a too bulky.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersThis is such a good buy I’m so glad I bought it. At first I thought it was a little expensive but it’s really worth every penny. My baby loves it in here. He is 11 weeks old and whenever he is tired or irritable, I put him in here and he is so calm and often falls asleep very quickly in it. It also means I can get things done such as housework or cooking without worrying about him waking up if I I put him down. It’s so easy to put on and comfortable. The fabric is soft and keeps my son warm.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersReally comfortable, easy to use and very supportive for baby. A nice mid-carrier between a full structured carrier and a soft sling. It can be a little tricky to do the shoulder straps up one handed while holding baby, but a lot easier to put on by yourself than the wrap style slings or some of the more structured carriers. You do have to do up the waist portion with two hands, but afterwards can do it all one handed. I highly recommend

    Great for smaller babies

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersHaving a bit of trouble using with my 4 week old in the newborn setting, the fabric doesn’t seem to come high enough to give him enough neck support so I end up holding his neck. Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersI have been looking for a sling where I can move freely and get on with cooking/housework etc but I really couldn’t deal with all of the complicated wraps available, even the ones that claim to be easy were like rocket science to me. This is the perfect alternative, my 7 week old loves it and it’s nice a small so folds up nicely. I recommend for this purpose, I have a more sturdy sling for outside journeys.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI bought this item for my 4 week old as I wanted something with a bit more support than the wrap sling I was using to free up my hands for jobs around the house and walks. My baby still seems a little small for it but the design does provide support and imagine in the coming weeks this will improve further as my baby grows.

Pretty easy to put on without help after a couple of practices.

Lovely to have baby that close. However I do worry if it might be a bit too warm and snug during warmer weather.
