After careful research, I settled on the ESR Wireless CryoBoost Car Charging set. It is a bit more expensive than other car chargers but it is well worth the extra money. The material is solid and well-made. The battery to hold your phone is very firm. I chose the air-vent model. I like that they put the folding “leg” on the vent bottom. It gives the charger even more stability as you drive.
I was so impressed, I actually ordered 2 more complete sets for my other family cars.
Everything about this is great except the charging speed. I’m unsure the wattage, but guessing it’s something like 7.5W so charging is fairly slow while using it. I have an iPhone 13 and use it mostly for maps while driving, and it essentially keeps the charge even from where it started (maybe 1-2% points every 20-30min). The best part about this charger is it stays on my vents no matter what so the phone never drops off of it. I have terrible vents in a 2018 Toyota tundra and can’t close the vent while using a charger. So the heat usually melts the sticky pads, and they end up falling off making the charger unusable. I really do love this charger other than the speed.
Halterung ist soweit ok. Leider fibriert sie zu sehr beim fahren. Man bekommt sie auch nicht fester. Einen Stern mehr, wegen dem auerordentlich freundlichen Kundenservice. Weiter so.
Works perfectly in my car. The first couple I bought either didn’t hold the phone securely or wouldn’t stay put in the vent. This one does both!
Works well but sometimes there is a long delay from the time the phone is put on to when it starts charging.
The review for this product convinced me to give it a try, and I am glad I did. It works exactly as promised, which says a lot—well designed, solidly constructed, and easy to use. I looked for a combination charger and holder for my iPhone for a while, and this is my reward for being patient. Five stars, yes indeed.
I’ve had multiple car chargers that don’t stay sturdy while I’m driving. This charger is amazing and stays in place whether vertically or horizontally. It holds the phone in place and the little fan to help cool the phone while charging is a great feature as well
It seems that the next best charge speed for the pixel 7 is at 5w, which will keep the phone alive but I wouldn’t count it on charging my phone by the time I reach my destination. Using with an OhSnap 3. It also has a tendency to slowly lower the angle on bumpy roads due to the size and weight of this phone

Matlock compatible cooled iPhone Carmount charger, the magnets are really strong & the mount fits vent slots & grip them very strongly, this vent mount may not work in round vents. Highly recommended!

This charger is really cool because it fast charges my phone and is extremely secure in my 1.4 polo.
The fan noise is relatively quiet, it can be heard running if there is no other music or radio on but knowing that my phone is still secure is great.
Very very impressed with this. It looks very smart and the cooling fan is fantastic.
Had the previous model for more than a year i was so happy with it but the base so I upgraded to the new model looks similar supposed to charge faster and has a built in fan to cool the phone down when charging which might be useful didnt have heat problem woth the previous problem
Just fitted into my car and I’m slightly annoyed its taken me this long to order one, holds phone in place no issues, no unplugging cables all the time just pop it on and away you go. Ordered a case from them as well and that’s quality too! Genuinely impressed and would definitely recommend!
I really like this charger. It’s fast and very secure to hold the phone but also to mount on the air vent of the car. Unfortunately- I just changed to a Mini – and the design doesn’t fit the air vents. So – I could do with keeping the charger but getting a different mou

Bought this car mount/charger to go with a recently purchased ESR iphone 14 Pro Max case and the combo doesn’t disappoint. Hold the phone up close, plonk it on and you’re good to go. Excellent suction and ease of use. Handles the speed bumps and pot holes without issue. The built in cooling fan optimises the charge rate. Impressed so far by functionality and style. Would highly recommend the Halolock case charger combo.
Pros:
– The device seems well made
– USB C is good
– charging speed seems to be good
– the fan isn’t very loud or noticable
Negatives:
– it’s quite a large dock, takes up a bit of space
– I can’t find a way to turn the blue light ring around the fans off
– I don’t like that the usb c port is on the bottom of the unit – I’d have preferred it on the rear, so that the cable isn’t visible when fitted
– it comes with a ram Mount with just the vent clip, it’s a shame for the price it doesn’t come with a plain flat mount and sticky pad
– vent clip is large, so forces my vents to face a certain directio

I’ve got an iPhone 13 Pro Max and the suction power is holding it perfectly.
This is the best MagSafe car charger I’ve had. The magnetic suction is so strong, my phone never falls off.
The fan is good too. Only thing is that you cant turn it off. Good thing is the fan only kicks in when the phone is docked on the charger.
Love the LED light too. Super strong magnet! My phone has never fallen off.
P.S It fits on Mercedes’ (round vents with horizontal lines) in case others were wondering if it fits the vents.
Molto migliore rispetto al vecchio halolock, ha una tenuta del magnete migliorata e grazie alla ventola ora il iPhone non si scalda quasi per nulla, poi anche la dotazione pi completa grazie a un adattatore da 36w che evita di far confusione con altri adattatori non adeguati e che allungano i tempi di ricarica. Lo consiglio a tutti quelli che vogliono prendere un prodotto completo ie di qualit come ci si pu aspettare dalla ESR

J’aime beaucoup ce chargeur et support de tlphone pour voiture. J’ai un iPhone 12 et les aimants magsafe sont vraiment puissant, impossible que le tlphone tombe mme quand il y a des secousses. Concernant la charge, c’est plutt rapide et le tlphone chauffe moins grce au systme CryoBoost. Le produit en lui mme et les finitions semble de trs bonne qualit. De plus, le packaging est trs bien fait. J’ai dj plusieurs accessoires ESR chez moi et je ne suis jamais du, c’est une marque de confiance !

This ESR car phone mount is way ahead of it’s competition. It is better than the alternatives on Amazon in virtually every aspect.
The clip mounting mechanism is ingenious, using a strong and long clip to wrap around a vent blade. When this is paired with the lower stability bar, once it’s clipped in, it’s not going anywhere. The stability bar on the bottom prevents the mount from tilting up and down by itself, and also ensures the full weight of the phone is not placed on just the vent blade.
Tilt is adjusted using a finger nut, which makes it easy to adjust the tilt, without compromising on it’s strength. Once you tighten the finger nut, it’s not going anywhere.
Phones are attached to the mount using ESR’s HaloLock technology, which can be found in their cases. (I’m using an ESR HaloLock iPhone case in the pictures.) The mount should also work with genuine Apple iPhone MagSafe cases too. This HaloLock technology is incredibly strong, and once the phone is on the mount, it doesn’t wiggle or slide at all, even over considerable bumps in the road. I have 100% confidence to say that the phone will never fall off the mount. Although the phone won’t come off the mount by itself, it is relatively easy to remove by pulling the phone from top to bottom, and doesn’t move the mount when you remove the phone.
The wireless charging feature is a great addition, and is highly convenient day-to-day, as well as for longer road trips. This charges my phone at the same rate as a high wattage desk wireless charger, ensuring my phone is always fully charged throughout the day. The lighter port adapter they include is extremely high quality, being made of metal with a low-profile, which is perfect for cars that don’t leave you much space around the lighter port (like mine.) This lighting port adapter is easily equivalent or superior quality to one that I previously bought for over 12.
The design of the mount is clean and minimalistic. I was initially worried it was going to be overly chunky and large, but to my surprise, you can barely tell it’s there when there’s no phone on it, and with my phone attached, it’s not visible at all (providing you hide the wire properly.) The black glossy front design looks clean and fits nicely in my black interior car.
Overall the phone mount is an excellent purchase and will make my life much more convenient in the future. This is easily the best car phone mount on the market at the moment for iPhone users.

I like the portability of the charger what I did not like was the limitation of the accessories or the type of connector for this charger. This can be used to hook into the window panel or the dashboard but there is only one option here which is the car vent.
The holder itself is amazing, 9/10, it’s not falling off, sometimes its even a fight to get it off the magnet.
I dont know if its just my car, but you can expect 6% battery charge in an hour, very poor and not worth doing.
Could just be my car, however this was the only disappointing part.

I’ve been using this since I replaced my iphone 11 with a 14. Phone is secure in both portrait and landscape and I’ve had no issues. The cable could be longer but is fine for my purposes. Very happy with this product and would highly recommend
Overall, this was relatively easy to install. Seems to hold the phone well and doesn’t get in the way too much. I need to try the charger part but overall, I am.happy with the purchase. Certainly has some good features and it feels very sturdy and we’ll made. No complaints so far but will update as I go along.
The only issue I have, and not just with this QI Charger, my air vents are vertical, so slides up & down. So have to have it low down, which then gets in the way of my gear stick.
Other than that. Yes, I’m happy with it.
It holds the phone brilliantly. Very easy to install and keeps the phone cool while charging. The charging is a bit slow but it’s fine for long journeys. I highly recommend it, definitely worth the money.
Firstly the item is great the magnet is strong and holds the phone securely even on British roads. I did have an issue where the locking nut that tightens the phone at the correct angle broke after about a week. Probably just a bad batch of nuts as the rest of the item is very well made. I contacted ESR and they replaced the defective part item within 2 days having just sent them a picture and quick description of the isuue. Again brilliant customer service, quite nice to have such a swift and easy resolution to the problem. Thanks Timi

The MagSafe HaloLock Car Charger holds the iPhone extremely securely. The country road around where we live are full of unavoidable potholes & bumps. Charging seems to be very quick, but it’s hard to compare are it’s not something I constantly look at. The built in fan is very quiet, only just audible when the car is stationary, radio off & everyone in the car is being purposely quiet, it’s that quiet until this point we weren’t sure it was running. I can only assume having a fan keeping the iPhone cool improves its performance, but it can’t harm & I’m sure it will be more important when the UK weather gets warmer. So far very impressed with the product, which is backed up with great ESR Support & Customer Service. 5 Stars all round.
