Not as soft touch as I was expecting but still good
I blame Microsoft for the installation, you have tol be firm too install it( they have a rubber seal on the elite 2) but looks better in person, feels slightly better than the rubbery feel, better grip, all in all a good product, but the tool needs too be stronger too open the controller, almost broke the tool trying too open it!
It’s an good case. I see no problems with after using it for a while. There’s no damages at all or anything. Just a little hard to install but that’s down to the controller it’s self.
Was way better quality than I thought it was going to be. Has really nice smooth feel to it, alot better than the standard faceplate which feels very sweaty and horrible. So very pleased with my purchase
Nice looking face plate only thing that’s annoying is it feels sticky recommend plates that are Matt finish definitely more comfortable gaming rather than the finish this has.
Installation was a lot easier than I thought, just take your time and you won’t damage the original shell/rubberised grip. I did use a metal pry tool for mine and it worked well in conjunction with the tool supplied. Once the original shell is taken off, the new shell just snaps in place. I’ll definitely be buying more for my other controllers
The hardest part was removing the original faceplate. Once off,it was easy to fit. Don’t forget to fit the other bits supplied,first. Clear instructions and link to video on how to do it. Looks pretty good too

Hardest part of the install was taking the old faceplate off the controller but once off the new fave place clipped on and all lined up perfectly love the new look to my controller and it feels good ok the hands
Looks and feels great really easy to remove the old face place and put the new one on. Watch the video on youtube on how to do it believe me it’s really that easy. Loved it that much brought a 2nd one for my spare elite controlle

I’m very happy with how my controller came out! The shell is very high quality & has an excellent finish. The controller still feels solid & there are no loose buttons.
It’s a very difficult process to remove the original faceplate. I would not recommend anyone who has no electronics experience to do this themselves. Although the end result is well worth it.
I have installed much replacement face plates over the years and this one is definitely high quality. I brought this for my xbox elite 2 and I’m more than happy with the quality and finish. The red “soft touch” is exactly as described, it feels like a smooth soft finish to the plastic (if that makes any sense). Fitting the face plate is easy. There are plenty of videos out there if you are unfamiliar. No button rubbing or snagging. Perfect fit.

Great looking replacement faceplate. I’m not sure on longevity, due to only having it for a short period of time.
Paint on the inside would have been better but it wont make a difference to the performance
I love this faceplate I think the only thing I wanna see in the future is to have the back grip the same colour the grips on the original design I don’t like I prefer plastic so this is perfect for me
Very nice looking and feeling faceplate. However was returned due to some damage through delivery. Would deffinately recommend if your looking for a smoother face for the elite 2
Easy to install, high quality textured feel and khajit approved!
The only problem I had was initially getting a start in lifting the original cover, I found it really difficult to get purchase on the left hand side of the controller whereas the right hand side was much easier. The reason why is that there is tape underneath the original cover sticking it to the controller and it really didn’t want to come off. After getting the right side separated and working my way Right to Left I was able to get the proper purchase to get the original cover off. So I would initially try one of the sides if you are having difficulty don’t force it, switch to the other side and try prying it off that side.
Overall, the product is great and I’ve been putting quite a few hours into it and it still looks and feels the same as it did at the start. I went for the purple one, but may try one of the others, definitely a worthy purchase if you want to get a better looking, or a better feeling controller.
