Mir wurden zwar die falschen Tasten geschickt jedoch hat die LED Funktion zuerst funktioniert mittlerweile aber nicht mehr jedoch ist mir der Controller auch herunter gefallen naja ist wies ist.
Seriously I am impressed with the result and how easy it was to install. Adds a bit more coolness to my controller…my concern i have seen is related to the battery and how lont it last…lets see how it goes in the long ru

Easy to install, as long as you follow the directions in their video. So far it’s working fine and I’m enjoying the upgrade, the only small issue is the PS logo that it doesn’t show as the original. Other than that I love the look. Hopefully it’ll last for a long time!. Definitely Will buy another one for my other controller!

Installation took about 20 minutes. No soldering necessary, but I still would not recommend an absolute beginner to attempt this. The film is very delicate and can rip easily. Unexperienced at taking electronics apart. Watched their installation video on Youtube with just the minor issue of some poor lighting and not zooming in as well as I’d like but was manageable, took me about an hour to carefully put it together. You have to provide your own electrical tape and research which controller type you have beforehand to help it go smoothly. The analog sticks were poor quality, keeping the old but light still goes around those and looks nice, the rest of the buttons worked out great as intended. Like the programable feature to change colors and turn it on or off. Great tools, mostly great parts [minus the analog sticks]. Highly recommend this product, especially to someone who doesn’t know the buttons and has to look down in the dark during night play and can be toggled off for players who don’t need it.

I love the look, the lighted buttons are amazing but it’s not perfect. I have a BDM-020 controller and I couldn’t use the thumb sticks at all, they stuck in place and I could feel rubbing when I moved them. The triangle, square, circle, and x buttons are a bit lower as well, but not so much they cause any problems. Also the tiny “create” and “options” buttons are way too low, I can use them but not easily. Have to bend my thumb to get them with my thumbnail. Otherwise, it’s perfect. It really looks amazing.
Really nice kit, just missing the old area customization mode they use to have on their PS4 controller kit. Luckily, I didn’t need it for my last controller.
For the installation, follow their step by step tutorial from their YouTube channel. It help a lot to go through the installation. Still not that easy to do.
I tried to fix the PS5 controller but hard it.
The pictures don’t do it justice, but it looks amazing. It took me about 30 minutes to install the LED kit, and I love it. ExtremeRate’s products are an amazing gateway into tech modding, given that no soldering is required. I’m so thankful that they’ve created so many mods that can allow you to completely personalize your tech. I’ve installed their JoyCon and Switch OLED shell replacements, Switch Pro controller shell replacement, Dualsense shell replacements, PS5 clicky face button kit, RISE 4 RMB remap kit, and now this LED kit. I highly recommend their products. And I even more highly recommend their YouTube channel and installation tutorials. They’re incredibly helpful!
The Videos to help with installation make things much easier. No problems with it my son loves it. We did a full upgrade with many kits at one time leds,trigger buttons,new drone shell,etc. They all fit very well together. Made an old controller new again.

Bought the Rise4 the LED kit as well as the Choas Knight Shell and a custom colored back button kit for the RISE4. Install Overall was pretty simple. FYI (I missed it originally in the youtube video) If you buy the LED kit and the RISE or RISE4 kit you need to use the cable that they tell you to tape off (IN THE LED VIDEO) and that will allow you to remap the (Cross,Triangle,Square,Circle) and still have led Effects ( I’ve included a photo of the cable that I’m referencing).
Quality is great overall. I have been using the remote for about a week now and I have had zero issues. I have been using extremerate products since the ps4 (about 6 years for me) and ive never had an issue with them.
I am using the same review on all of the products I bought because its just easier for me. They are all exceptional and the remote is incredible.
Everything is great , second LED kit I’ve installed but Dpad button feels loose compared to their other after market Dpad buttons. Over great products as usual.
This kits looks awesome when installed. The step by step video on their YouTube was great and took approximately 30 minutes to install.
As a downside the instructions are not for amateurs, imagine Ikea instructions and then imagine not being told the important parts to ensure your successful. This is definitely not a friendly mod to new modders.
I see that several people have installed their analogs LEDs in the orientation of a cross like a plus sign however this orientation is incorrect, when installed properly the LEDs should be in an x pattern to alleviate all stress from the ribbon cable when utilizing the analog stick.
I hope that these tips help you and I will post an update with photos when I do the next controller and possibly make a video so that it’s a lot easier for people to install this mod properly.
J’ai ps eu de misre avec le produit , l’installation par contre il faut VRAIMENT suivre les tapes. J’ai du dmonter la manette deux fois car j’essayais d’aller trop vite.
La seule chose que je peux dire qui est un problme mais avant de trop m’aventurer la manette ne fonctionne pas dans les jeux, elle fonctionne juste dans le menu de la PS5 donc est-ce que c’est un problme de fil ou peux tre autre choses. Je vais devoir tous dmonter pour effectuer des tests.

Pretty cool, comes with tools and not hard to install.
But the new color controllers are slightly different but same model number. But there are 2 screws not there so it’s different lay out for option/share buttons. Light is in the way off the button so it don’t work (option button) and the light under it from trying to use that button.
Il montaggio stato tutto sommato semplice, chiaro che per chi non ha mai fatto nulla del genere potrebbe essere pi difficoltoso. Il risultato finale davvero bello. Speriamo non pregiudichi troppo la durata della batteria.

Added as the final touch to complete my all scarlet red controller. As expected from ExtremeRate, the package includes complete tools and bits to get the job done with ease. Added with existing back button mods and does not hinder functionality. As long as you view the YouTube installation tutorial, adding this is a breeze.
I ordered the version with black buttons that have transparent PlayStation symbols on them and I love them! Really easy to install if you’ve had any experience and looks great when you’re finished!
