Ordered this to be part of my son’s birthday gifts so can’t comment on how easy it is to use or the flavour you get but this looks a great set which I am sure he will enjoy using.
You receive a presentation box with everything neatly inside in foam and there is a blow torch, stirrer, 2 reusable ice cubes, a couple of mesh baskets to use in the wooden smoker and several tins of wood chips.
The description says that you can use this not only for cocktails but also for food so would make a good addition to a foodie’s kitchen.

This is a fantastic little kit! For those that enjoy the different flavours of alcohol, cocktails or just the general theatrics you can create in mixology, this is a perfect gift for you. The kit comes with different scented chips that you can use to smoke and add flavour to. You have everything you need to create a smoky essence to your drinks.
This is fantastic to get out when family and friends are over as well as experimenting with yourself. I love the addition of the ice cubes that you can reuse and have in your drink without diluting your drink. Great kit.
Not bad for a whole kit like this. The fire torch is quite plastic, but does it job well. The sawdust burn with strong smells and quite over powering, maybe I should use fewer sawdust since there is no instructions for using how much of the sawdust. The whole kit looks good but hardly to be presentable since everything with a large label that “Made in China”
I do think it is okay for personal use for fun.
We love tying out new cocktails and experiment with new recipes so I was looking forward to trying out this kit. It contains a cleaning brush for cleaning mesh after every smoke, a smoke infuser, the torch, a filter and four different flavours of wood chips. All are presented in a nice box so would make a great gift for someone that enjoys making their own cocktails or add a bit of smokey flavour to their food.
Unfortunately the set doesn’t contain butane so you have to buy this separately.
Little bit pretentious addition for home bar for entertaining guests. Comes with everything you might need to smoke drinks with different flavours/ smoke chips. Comes in nice presentation box. It’s not an everyday think but surely will jazz up your drink making abilities. Would make great gift too.
Adds a nice flare to a standard whiskey on the rocks overall impressed excluding the fact I was stupid and managed to set the smoke alarm off when first using this.
Blowtorch could be made to a better quality but does get the job done once you add some gas to it but does feel on the cheaper side of things for what’s included.
6 Different blends to choose from to smoke the drink out and all add a uniqueness to the drinking experience but practice overall is a solid recommendation just purely down to the amount used to not overly thicken the glass in a cloud of smoke that could set an alarm off (Like I did myself)
As a overall product rating this is something unique and even though you could smoke multiple drinks its aimed towards whiskey drinkers in my opinion and adds a niche to the market of drinking or fun little things personally I would use this more on a special occasion type of thing but not when just wanting a random/cheeky glass of whiskey.
Would recommend as a gift for a whiskey drinker but might not be used all the time.
If you are looking for a present for that man with everything then this could be it. Nicely packaged and contains everything required for making special cocktails.
The set looks good but in all honesty not sure I can be bothered to take the trouble to use it. Maybe someone who enjoys entertaining would be better suited than me. The set comes with six pots of wood chips and accessories.

A gift for an enthusiastic cocktail maker at home, this was with the intention of him making me much better Old Fashioneds and it’s worked!
It’s an elegant little set, perfect for gifting. Comes with a lovely range of scents/flavours. The gas gun works fine – can probably be used for Brulee on its own!

This is a lovely kit that looks the part and would make a good gift.
The wooden cover and lid are well made and there are a good selection of different wood chips to produce the smoke. The butane torch is a little cheap (the on/off switch was really stiff on my one, and it’s quite small so hard to operate anyway).
Produces a lot of smoke with little wood chips, and although you can smell the difference between different wood types, the overall effect was just a simple a smoke taste left on the edge of the glass rather than anything special for the drink. Probably more something to show off to your friends than really make a positive difference to a drink. For pizzazz it does the job though.
I love this and it would also make a great gift. This cocktail smoker is present well and have a great selection of wood! It’s definitely a party piece and it will be used to entertain. My son loves whisky and this is perfect for him to smoke his tipple and enjoy with friends. I love everything about this…quality materials!
If you’re a cocktail aficionado, this is an interesting addition to your bar equipment. You get 6 small containers of wood chips plus everything else you need to set it on fire in a controlled way, trapping the smoke in your spirit of choice with a little plinth set. The wood chips themselves are flavoured / scented, although the differences are very subtle prior to igniting them for the smoke. As making cocktails themselves is a little bit of a process, thus doesn’t really add a lot of time to it, but is certainly pretty impressive. For the price it’s worth trying.

This little cocktail set is a great addition to a drinks cabinet.
It comes with the burner, albeit you’ll need to buy butane for it, which is fairly cheap in most shops.
And you get a lid to help smoke whatever you want to smoke and then the woodchips which get placed in the wooden lid type thing.
Makes a great way to experiment with cocktails and even food and make yourself look fancy.
For the price this is a great little set to enhance cocktails and even for trying with other things such as food.
Great gift for whiskey drinkers and even not just that. Any alcohol or non alcoholic drink can be smoked.
Any round glass will work fine with the set. I got non round whiskey glasses and it don’t work with them. Wood chips it need just bit to do the job. Effect is also quite amazing inside and when lifting it up. Blowtorch looks like it is made for good look then functionally, but it is just my personal opinion. Good on any party to show how cool You ate. It is now my new addition to kitchen, happy with the set.
I found this useful not just for smoke-infused cocktails but also for various bite-size appetisers e.g. cheese, urchins, mussels etc.
Every part of this kit has a quality feel and look.
Wooden chips are prepared well, and burn hot and fast, giving off smoke in a quick burst.
The flavour and thickness of smoke vary depending on what wood is used. And, it is great to have so many choices of smoking wood flavours. Mild-flavoured apples and peaches are just perfect for smoking cubes of cheese and bits of veg/fruit.
Once I rehearsed how to smoke-infuse drinks without any clumsy mistakes, I felt like Heston Blumenthal applying theatrical touch to cocktails in front of my guests who enjoyed the entertainment thoroughly.
This kit is a must for those of us who often have company for drinks or meals. It adds to the whole experience something special.
This would make a great gift for someone who enjoys a fine dram of whiskey but wants to take things up a notch.

Who knew you’d need one of these in the kitchen.
First impressions are a well made product, has a good build and feel to it and comes with a fair few bits.
You have a section of wood chips, doesn’t need many, you set them a light with the torch, a level of smoke then comes out of the housing.
It creates theatre in the kitchen and not a lot else, there is a nice smell to the wood burning but I am left feeling a little puzzled as to why you’d want one, If I had had friends round and showed off with this they’d think I’d lost the plot.
A well made gadget, if you want to create that Masterchef theatre then this could be just the thing, for me it not going to come out of the box again.

The cocktail smoker kit came packed in an attractive box. It includes all accessories needed for cocktail smoking. All the items are well-made plus look sturdy. Comes with 6 different-tasting wood chips. Is very easy to use as well. Works as expected. Great for giving as a gift too. Satisfied
Very well presented, both in packaging and looks.
Smoking individual glasses of drinks or small food quantities is not what you might consider main stream and does fit into try it once but will you continue to use it.
There are 6 pots of chips so you can try things out and all you need to do your first few smokes. So that’s a plus point, although you do need to get some gas, but it’s standard butane for lighters and kitchen blow torches.
I am a bit worried that the blowtorch appears to be finished more for looks rather than functionality. Actually a bit flashy and cheap looking. However, it does work well.
I would suggest you experiment with drinks or food that are not expensive before launching out to more adventurous things. Can I suggest a low cost gin to pep it up a bit.
I struggled with the star rating. It’s very much aimed at image. However I thought it deserved more than 3.
If you want a bit of fun. Watched a video online and think it’s for you, or someone who would like a present then this is a complete kit . Nothing to dislike, but nothing that stands out.
Got this for my husband as he loves to make a good impression for our guests when he serves food and drinks.
This is briliant to make a smoke effect.
Seems to be well made, works absolutely fine, no issues. Plenty of wood pieces to make a smoke.
