This is a good day pack for short hiking, cycling, or camping trips. It’s a little small for any longer journeys, but is just fine for a couple days. It is lightweight and appears well made, but I wouldn’t subject it to any rough handling. We got this to use for shore excursions on an upcoming cruise and it should work just fine for that. I may update this review if the seams start to fail prematurely, but so far I am happy with this little backpack.
Packing light is crucial for any hiker. Yeah you can get yourself a fancy backpack with all the gadgets you need, but if you need to pack light while keeping your stuff secure? this is it. It’s strong, lightweight and looks very nice.
I didn’t put anything really heavy in this backpack but it seemed sturdy. It’s super lightweight, all the zippers were smooth, liked the additional pockets. Only complaint was the straps weren’t very comfortable at all, they were scratchy. Maybe with a longer sleeve shirt they would be better.
My wife and I took this with us on our most recently trip, it was thin to pack inside another backpack, and during the day we use it to carry light items or sandwiches. The strap is relatively comfortable, but there is not much padding since it’s supposed to be a light weight bag. It didn’t rain so we didn’t test out water resistance. Overall a good looking bag and not too large of an logo. The blue color is low key and quite handsome in my opinion. I hope the zipper will last because my last few bags were fine in other areas, but the zippers also get messed up first.
This actually could fold up nicely if you were going to hike with it and needed to pack it in a suitcase. It wouldn’t be too heavy duty to carry books to school however. It’s just lightweight and could hold snacks, water for hiking
An excellent lightweight option for carrying items during a workout or on a hike. The branding is pretty bland and takes away from the beauty of the bag but not the performance.
It is a decent size, has lots of room and folds up into a compact portable bag. It’s very nice.
Very lightweight, but sturdy enough to carry needed items for a day hike or side hike off a longer trek. The side pockets are large enough to hold most standard 1L bottles. Shoulder straps are secured well to the body. When packed, it’s about the size of a softball.
My old hiking backpack was getting a little worn and lacked good water bottle pockets. I came across this and ordered it right away. I’m very happy with this backpack. The material is very light, and folds up easily for storage. I keep all the items I like to have with me when hiking for the day. Seems well made. The side water bottle pockets are deeper than most and one of the longer 30 oz bottles I have tend to fall out, but this one is deep enough to securely hold it. Haven’t checked for waterproofness. No cons!
Incredible little daypack. It’s not meant to handle too much of your gear, but for a quick hike or even a quick trip it’ll be able to handle it. It’s well constructed with excellent zippers that open and close easily. I was honestly surprised by how much I was able to fit into this thing and it folds up into a compact little carrying case that fits in your pocket. Internal pockets are fairly large and I was able to fit my water bottle on the outside.

High Quality and Highly Recommended!
You know in science fiction and fantasy stories where the inside is bigger than the outside? This sort of equipment always reminds me of that.
It easily fit a 32 oz water bottle on the side and has 2 pockets like that so good for 2 decent size water bottles or equivalent. I fit a 10 pound bag of potatoes into the main compartment and still had some room. I don’t think I’d want to actually carry 10 pounds of potatoes around but you get the idea. It folds down easily into the attached internal bag and is a good idea for travel for day walks or just a place for dirty laundry until you wash it up. Love for trips.
It isn’t the toughest backpack out there due to the lightweight fabric (though it seems well made) but that isn’t it’s goal-its goal is to be able to either have extra room or pack it down next to something the size of…one large potato! 😉
Whenever I’ve traveled by plane to another place, I wish I had a compacted, lightweight backpack like this, which I can take on long walks or hikes. This backpack fits just the right amount of stuff I like to bring — snacks, extra layer of clothes, battery pack, and my wallet. I can also fit a 32oz water bottle, but I’m a bit concerned about the thinness/durability of the backpack material, so I use my 24oz bottle when traveling.
I just love this backpack. It’s a great color, super lightweight, roomy and well made. When empty, you can fold it up and store it in the carrying bag that was included. It would easily fit in a large pocket, purse or bag when in the storage bag. There are alot of handy places to tuck things away or for water bottles. The stitching is well done and material is strong even thought it’s so lightweight.
This is meant to be taken on vacation and used as daypack or hiking bag when you have arrived at your destination. The material is pretty thin and light, but that’s what makes packable. The straps are think, but breathable. There are only 2 compartments and 2 mesh water bottle holders on each side. It’s a basic, useful bag to always take on trips.
As stated this is a packable dayhike pack. The intention here is not to be the go to backpack for all hikes. It is intended as a secondary daypack when overnight backpacking. So it cinches down into a very light weight palm size bag, ready to pull out for offshoot hikes once you’ve reached your base camp.
So with that understanding, I’ll say this is good for exactly that. It’s so lightweight you can barely feel it, which helps since every ounce matters when weighing your ruck. It’s as breathable as it is light, but big enough to hold your dayhike essentials.
One improvement I’d like to see is an additional compartment to hold a water bladder. I like to transfer my water from my larger bag to this, rather than carry bulky water bottles. But this only has the main compartment and a smaller on front, so the bladder has to sit inside with the other items, which causes the bladder to fold down and bunch at the bottom, making it hard for the drinking tube to stay at the top over my shoulder.
Other than that it has all basic necessary features for a daypack. Quality for what matters, no frillswhich is what I’d expect for this price.
I have a few of these from various brands. They’re pretty much all similar in capacity, should straps, and pockets. What I prefer about this one is that the material seems a little thicker and hence sturdier. I can’t see thru this bag like I can some of my other ones. This does seem to be slightly better quality.
Similar to others the straps on this are thin but they don’t twist up like some. Zippers work fine with no issues.
Product description was as written. Lightweight, easily folded to bring with, as a second carry, and water resistant. Has roomy interior storage compartment, exterior pouches to carry a couple water bottles or something else, plus a zippered long, exterior pocket. Nice wide, adjustable mesh straps. Good use for a day trip, an event, or use daily to replace a shoulder bag. Seems sturdy enough for it being so lightwould recommend carrying heavy things for a long period of time though.
I love this backpack for traveling. I have had several similar to this over the years and this one works great. This one folds into a pouch that is tethered onto the backpack itself. I prefer the ones that fold into a pouch on the front of the backpack instead of a separate part, but that is very minor for me. Folding it into the pouch is not as simple as 1234 as the photos show but its not that bad. I always try to follow the directions but end up just cramming it in there. If it fits it fits, right? 16L is not real big but is why I like it for traveling. It tucks away in my suitcase for the trip and I can unpack it and take with me while I am out and about on my trip. Its thin….that is how it folds into a little bag. But it isn’t made to tote text books. So for me, it works great. I like it and would buy again.
Really nice daypack – this one’s a keeper.
Admittedly I have a couple of these on the off chance that I need some extra portable storage when hiking, sightseeing or even shopping locally but this one is better than most IMO.
Blue color is really nice, looks to be 15-16 liters in main section; maybe some of that is in the full length, front zipper pouch. Side pouches would hold a medium sized water bottle.
Material appears to be rip-stop nylon and is at least showerproof. Zips are high quality and tight-teethed and therefore less likely to let any precipitation inside. Shoulder straps are very ample and smooth in operation.
