I have ordered this type of hose and fittings in the past. I was disappointed because both hose and brass fittings leaked. I read the reviews for this product and decided to take a chance. Delivery was quick
K, and it took me longer to open the package than it did to connect and use. Not a leak in sight. I am extremely pleased and looking forward to using it on the flower pots later. Have already used it to fill dog paddling pool. Excellent goods and price
Very lightweight to use as I have a spinal injury, so feel comfortable to use and like the different types of water sprays, just wished a little longer so would like to know if an extension cable is available?
Use it to wash my car. It is light, easy to store and it really doesn’t kink but I’m not sure how long it will last.
A good product, comes with all the fittings you will need
This comes with everything you need. We actually only needed the hose as we already had all the connectors from our old hose which unfortunately had split.
Good replacement, works, we like these this style of hose as they are very easy to store and easy to move around the garden.
This was my first extendable garden hose and in short, so far, it is fantastic.
What I liked:
The untidy 23m (75′) of coils of hose sprawling over my patio have been replaced by a much neater 8m (25′) of hose. This makes such a difference aesthetically and can be hooked up (with the attached hook) with far fewer loops. It does of course expand to a full 23 metres when the water pressure is turned on. Turn it off again (but keep your finger on the spray) and the hose will contract again as it releases the water under pressure. It’s great!
Everything you need for connection is included in the pack; a 1/2″ to 3/4″ adaptor, an adaptor for taps of less than 16mm without a thread (like a small sink tap for example), washers, female hose couplings and even the ergonomic spray-head made of quality plastic. It’s all been thought through and even spare washers are included.
The connectors are Hozelock compatible (so should work with any existing connectors you have, and are brass providing a little more durability than the plastic types)
Hose is transferring the good water pressure throughout the hose and through the multi-headed spray head.
What I didn’t like
As with most hoses, you have to protect from frost. In the UK, weather can dip below freezing so have to remember to drain and keep in the shed over winter.
This seems to work well. The hose stretches to 75 ft which is just the length of my garden. However, It did take a bit of effort to stretch it out its full length. The two tap fittings allow the pipe to be fitted to most outdoor taps. However the black adapter which I received did has a slight leak but maybe I was unlucky. The holder needs fixing to the wall so something to be aware of. It is compact so a definite advantage to the old style hose on the big reel.
Seems a reasonable product (time will tell).
Not had much chance to use this so far as it’s winter at the time of review, but one use was all it took to be convinced to get rid of my old, bulky, twisted and annoying conventional hose/reel.
For the more than reasonable price, you get a hose that’s light-weight, rolls easily, fits in a very small bag yet expands to 75ft! Supplied with a couple of different tap fittings, washers and spray head – they even include a roll of ptfe tape! The tap fittings are the usual quick-release type – but in brass rather than plastic, so should last very well. The spray head is also decent quality. Also comes with a simple wall hanger – not super sophisticated but well up to the job.
Easily stowed again after use – you don’t have the usual shenanigans where it feels like you’re trying roll up an actively protesting boa constrictor, and in use…well it’s a hose, stick water in one end and it comes out the other.
That’s all I’ve got. It works, it’s convenient, and it’s excellent value for money. 5 stars from me.
I was surprised how little space this garden hose occupies. Yes it feels lightweight, but the fittings are of a good quality, the hose attachment was robust and felt sturdy. No leaks occurred, the spray was quite powerful, it stretched to the bottom of our garden reaching all the plants there. Takes up far less space than our old hose on a reel, was much lighter and easier to manage. Because we are currently in the winter months after using it I drained the hose as much as I could and popped it back into the little bag it came in so I can store it in the garage over the rest of the winter ( it went back into thee bag extremely easily). In the summer months it will be stored outside on the bracket supplied. How long it will maintain its stretch and elasticity I can’t answer, but so far I am really pleased with it.
Needed a decent hose as our old one was deteriorating! This is well made and great quality too! Works so well and nozzle has lots of different modes to it! Doesn’t tangle which is fantastic. So happy

The product I received was a 75ft retractable garden hose and accessories.
The garden hose comes in a small storage bag with pull tie closure. This hose, although from first impressions appears small, is designed as a retractable hose and when filled with water extends up to 75ft in length. The product comes with the fittings needed to attach to your outside water supply and a spray gun. The spray gun has 10x water spray choices – jet, angle, cone, shower, mist, soaker, centre, vert, full, flat. There is also a wall holder, you simply attach this to the wall to hang your hose on.
This hose is ideal for a small space as when not in use can be either hung on the wall holder or put away in the storage bag supplied. When the hose is attached to the tap (connectors supplied) and the water turned on, the hose quickly expands to its full size. We found we got an even pressure of water when expanded, however this may vary from location to location depending on a property’s general water pressure. When the hose is no longer needed your simply turn off the water supply and then with the spray gun clear out the remaining water from the hose. The hose then starts to contract back to its original size for storage.
As to longevity, through continued use, I am unable to comment as I have only recently received the product however from first impressions looks well made. A garden hose that can expand up to 75ft and is easy to store. For the price asked (at time of review 24.99) this is a useful product.
Good quality material. The outer layer is not the same as when the first retractable hose came out which is like oxford fabric. This is way better. The length is just enough for me to run it from our kitchen tap to our garden or to the front of the house to attach to our pressure washer for cleaning the front patio and car. I had to use our old tap adaptor as our tap is different and modern. Love that it is easy and compact to store, doesn’t tangle and very portable compared to the traditional garden hose. The fittings are heavy duty. Good value for money.

We’ve had a couple of these collapsible hoses, they are a great idea, as long as the fittings are good quality, as the connectors take a lot of pressure. This has a quality feel, and the accessories give you everything you need in a garden hose.
Garden hose pipe is same as described. Spray gun has different patterns of spray. This is retractable so very easy to handle it. wall mount came in this pack. Good water pressure. Pipe fittings are made of quality metal. Light weight so very easy to use. Highly Recommended….
This has everything you need to connect this hose immediately. A universal connector, rubber washers, and even pdf tape for a perfect fit. The hose is excellent quality, and the length will reach anywhere in a large garden.
It seems that everything has been considered when packing this hose. There is no having to pop to the local DIY store before you use it. The hose fits very securely to the tap. It is so easy to store, and all fits into a small compact bag. Excellent hose.

This hose has exceeded my expectations. My previous hose that I bought from a supermarket totally broke at the end of summer so Im so happy to get this hose. It’s a lot better than I expected, it comes in a nice bag with lots of little extras and it clipped on to my outside tap no bother although it does come with the attachment if needed. This is in my opinion a really good value garden hose set. It arrived with everything contained inside a drawstring storage bag. Included with the hose are two types of tap connectors, connection washers in various sizes, adjustable spray head, roll of PTFE sealing tape and a basic hose tidy wall bracket.
Fitting the storage bracket on the wall requires a single screw which only took a couple of minutes to fit or the hose can be stored in the suppled bag. The brass colour fitting on each end fits the coupler we already have on the tap so I didn’t need to fit either of the supplied fittings and can keep them as spares. Using the hose is very easy as it is lightweight and not at all cumbersome. Once the water supply is turned on it is just a case of stretching the hose out to the desired length up to 75 feet. The spray attachment has a range of useful spray patterns which are selected by rotating the front face of the spray head.
After use having turned off the water supply it is easy to coil the hose onto the wall bracket once the spray head is uncoupled to allow the remaining water to drain from the hose and then the hose will contract back to its shorter storage length.
Overall a really useful lightweight garden hose which looks well made and is supplied with everything needed to connect it to an outside tap and the means to store it tidily between uses. Recommended.
I was really pleased when I received this hose as it comes with everything to ensure you can connect it to various types of tapes, and it even comes with a reel of PTFE tape just in case the tap threads are worn.
The fittings are brass which is exceptional in this day and age of the plastic and all fitted with rubber washers.
The spray head has 10 functions so covers just about everything you need from that.
Haven’t had the opportunity to try it out yet due to the really cold weather but I’m sure it will work perfectly.
This expandable hose, which, under mains water pressure, expands up to 3 times the length it is when it is not under pressure will be very useful to me, in several roles. Its fully expanded length is 75 ft (roughly 23 metres), yet, when not in use it is compact & lightweight, therefore easy to carry or to store.
I am now using it for tasks I used to perform with a long conventional plastic hose, stored on a Hozelock reel, using Hozelock couplings, spray heads, etc. Those Hozelock couplings, etc have become an accepted standard in hose accessories & are incorporated for the fittings on this expandable hose, which am reviewing here.
I have used my Hoselock hose kit for about the last 30 years or more & have only, very occasionally had to replace or add to the accessories or hosepipe I had from that long ago. I suspect that this expandable hose will not last that long, but it will take many years to find out, so I can’t tell you now.
I used the plastic hosepipe setup for chores around my home — garden, washing cars, that sort of thing.
I have an allotment, several hundred yards from home, but it was impractical to carry the hose reel round there every time I needed to water my plants maybe even daily in the height of summer. So, I just used watering cans filled from the water butt near my allotment. However, watering a 50 ft X 10 ft allotment, with many thirsty plants in it takes a fair bit of time & effort. This lightweight expanding hose will make that task much easier.
When not in use, I will keep the expanding hose in my garage at home, affording it such protection as I can from early deterioration from sun & weather: the latex material on the inside of the hose would be particularly vulnerable to damage from intense light & heat. And in use on the allotment, this hose will generally be dragged over grass which should not cause much wear to the polyester fabric woven sheath around outside of the hose.
My photos will show you what makes up this expanding hose kit & how it operates (sorry about the intrusion of my finger in many shots). In these days of water shortages in the summer, it will be important to make full use of the water from the hose when emptying it after use.
I recommend this hose, as I consider the expense & likely shorter life worthwhile for the benefits this expandable hose system confers in comparison to an old-style plastic hose system.
A decent size hose with everything you need. Comes well packaged, it includes a handy storage bag, hose hanger, universal tap connector, hose adapter, ptft tape, spare rubber washers aswell as the hose and nozzle. Black and blue in colour with a matching nozzle. It’s of a good length 75ft. It seems durable and long lasting. The pipe is lightweight aswell as being flexible and expends out well without kinking at all. The nozzle fits easily and securely on the hose pipe, without any leaks from any bad fitment. Simple to use and works straight away. By twisting the dial head you can choose from different functions how you wish the water to be dispensed. Fits to the tap with ease. Comes with 3/4 inch UK standard solid brass fittings with 1/2 inch adapter. The hose and nozzle works well together. Comfortable to hold and easy to grip. Feels well made and of good quality.
Surprisingly good. Well packed and works fine straight out of the packet. I like the ability of this hose to extend beyond its initial size and reach parts of the garden my old hose cant.
I have previously owned expanding garden hoses, however they have never really lasted the test of time. When i received this hose i was immediately impressed by the quality of the hose pipe itself – it seemed a lot thicker than my previous expanding hoses. At each end of the hose is what appears to be brass fittings. The hose comes in a nice draw string bag which also contains the spray head, with the usual different spray settings (this is all plastic), tap to hose attachments, including the expanding clamp type, PTFE tape and a hanging hook.
Due to the current rainy weather i have only used this hose for a short time to test, however it worked well. I filled up my chicken waterer at the other end of the garden and the hose expanded when i turned on the outside tap. The total length of the hose is 75ft which is idea for those with small/medium sized gardens.
My old hose will now be replaced with this hose, and i look forward to using it daily in the spring.
If you are looking for a new compact hose then i would recommend this product – good quality and with a good amount of extra.

This super lightweight hose works perfectly for my garden. Loved how easy it is to store when not in use and drained of water. Takes little space as the conventional rubber ones do. When finished watering just shut off water supply, open hose nozzle, watch it shrink as it empties to form a smaller size.

The connections are a brass coloured metal and seem quite robust when clicked into place.
The pack also includes a 10 position rotary adjustable spray gun which clicks into the hose and has a comfortable trigger action and the ability to lock the gun in the on position.
The pack also contains a plastic hanging bracket to hang the hose below an outside tap for storage.
I have included pictures of the range of spray positions available and found the number of positions really useful both for cleaning the car and motorbike, patio, doors and windows and watering the plants
The hose expands itself when there is a pressure of water inside it whilst turned on and in use and it retracts itself when the hose is turned off and the water in the hose is emptied with the trigger gun.
This is a really great value and comprehensive hose set and would recommend in this price point.
This is a surprisingly good hose and quite a clever idea. It stretches well and is extremely flexible and able to navigate round corners efficiently.
It effectively triples in length when needed but taking up much less space when not using use.
Obviously when you stretch it out the diameter of the hose if effectively reduced. There seems to be very little, if any, affect on water pressure when stretched out.
Comes with attachments for different types of tap so should work with whatever you need.
The sprayer has lots of different settings to suit your needs and does a good job whole also feeling nice to use and grippy with the rubber handle.
The holder isn’t anything special but is simple to attach if you have the tools. However the hose rolls up very small if prefer to detach and store in your shed.
All feels well made and should last for many happy seasons gardening and cleaning.

The garden hose and accessories arrived unexpectedly in a black bag ( pac a Mac type material ) and just held together with a elastic band I don’t know why but I though it would come coiled and contained! Along with the hose was a mount for the wall which looks like metal but It is plastic and yet the connectors are made from metal and the different sizes so one of those sizes should fit my taps. The hose itself is quite heavy and is constructed with braided material again unexpected as there’s no plastic insight the braided nylon material has a pattern to it which is nice and once the hose starts to fill with water it’s expands to 3 times it’s size so currently unused the hose is 25ft long in use can expand up to 75ft which is just about the right size to cover my garden without having to either move to another tap and feed through a window like with previous hoses I’ve had which makes this hose brilliant for my use and also great to reach the front drive to wash the car. The spray gun when attached has 10 different settings for various spray types ( see pictures ) I’m very happy with the kit and how it is surprisingly small when sat inside the carry bag. The hose is well priced for what you get.
I was looking for an upgrade on my current 50 feet hose so was delighted to find this beauty as, not only is it longer, at 75 feet, it also contains everything you will need to attach it. Plus, it comes with 3 spare washers that are dead handy as well. The plumbing tape was also good to have as this stuff is very good at stopping leaks – be they around the house or on hoses. The actual hose itself is the usual kind of expanding hose that does exactly what it is supposed to – i.e it expands to a good length whilst reducing to a small size for storage after use. Personally, I would never go back to the traditional kind of hose as they take up too much space. My last expandable hose lasted a good 5 years so hopefully this one will follow suit. You get 10 different spray patterns to use via the gun and the jet is also very good at blasting moss etc from pavements. In short, a very good hose that is great for gardens (and for washing cars).
