Great TV. Didn’t take too much trouble to set it up with all our apps. Mostly you just need to scan a QR code with your phone rather than needing to type in passwords. If you do need to type in a password and you have the VIDAA app then you can type it in on your phone. The picture is great. The VIDAA system is a bit clunky and not the best that I’ve used so you will need to spend a little time getting used to it but it has some great features.
It has all the latest tech on it. Picture quality is good. I had some issues setting up using the mobile phone set up and some connectivity problems to start with but have settled now. Also might have been a coincidence but started having problems with a smart bulb in a wall light behind the tv. 2 smart bulbs stopped working altogether?? Not sure if the tv WiFi was the issue but that’s sorted now after replacing the bulb twice! Good Tv in general though!
For a ” cheap ” tv this was a brilliant buy, researched it first and not disappointed, no real need for a as the sound has depth and add, picture is fine.- easy to use remote with Alexa functio
Overall I’m really pleased with the TV but for some reason on certain shows it makes the dark/black parts of the film or show near pitch black as if the contrast is changing. Other than that, its brilliant, quality of the image is good and the UI is simple and intuitive.
Delivery time messed around by DPD, nothing different there.
The tv wanted to update straight away, also getting me to download the app.
Picture quality is awesome, east to navigate the remote and options. Super lightweight.
The only negative I can give it, is that it only has 3 hdmi ports, for the size (58inch) I’d like to have 1 more. Other than that I can’t find any fault.
Highly recommend
Mostly a decent TV. Picture is good, very easy to set up via App. No difficult passwords using the remote control.
The common problem with these budget TVs is the sound. It’s very tinny and devoid of depth.
Fine for bedroom or TV you don’t use regularly but you’d need a sound bar otherwise.
Good size, great picture, really good value for the money would recommend has not familiar with the make but well worth it delivery was before expected and delivery driver was really helpful.
Can’t really fault this TV. Picture quality is good with 4K and HDR, and the speakers are adequate. The Dolby Vision settings needed some tweaking but now I’m very happy with it.
Super easy to set up, lovely quality and audio is good, for people who love bass, just play around a bit with the Equalizer. The screen is 60Hz too so ideal for gaming
A good TV but found the VIDAA system very intrusive and made life difficult. I didn’t think the default picture quality was as good as i was expecting. At times a little flat without the depth. I was impressed by the choice of digital TV aerial or satellite connection. NB only one or the other connected at one time. It also supported a 500GB memory stick and also pausing live transmission. It’s a big TV and in fact was too big for us, so had to return it. Returning has to be organised the buyer at your own cost. It was delivered by DPD but discovered TV’s cannot be returned by DPD, even in their original packaging, with insurance! Tried all the usual with the same result, then got advice from local sub post office. No problem for Parcelforce! Money returned within 7 days as promised.
I absolutely love this tv. It was a replacement for a smaller one I had in my bedroom. The picture and sound quality is great and the smart features are excellent. The fact that I can just push one button and speak into the remote control to change channels makes my life so much easier. I’m no longer fumbling in the dark trying to see the buttons. Would definitely recommend.
Having this tv for a few months there’s nothing we don’t like about, it’s Mordern with a great picture quality, the tv is big and still very sleek the borders around the tv are very small and I’m so happy with it! We use a Xbox so don’t have too much use for the smart tv applications but nether the less they are modern easy to use with a wide range of apps.
Nice product and the delivery was on time but to my amazement, I could not find the power cable in the box. That was quite disappointing. Asides this, it is a great product. Thanks
This Hisense TV was almost a third of the price of the Sony TV I was looking at and to be honest, I don’t think I’ll ever go back to the big named brands again after experiencing this amazing TV.
Its 4K is the best I’ve seen on any brand, the picture quality for streaming, Blu-rays and PS5 games is unmatched. There is plenty of options for various connections, there is loads and loads of options for app downloads.
The sound is fine and there is plenty of adjustments for amending every kind of picture and sound quality.
The only negative I could find, and I had to look really, really hard for this, is the TV will not play MP4 files which the older model I have in my bedroom has no issue with. However, it does play MKV files from a hard-drive and that’s the best container for media, so it’s really not a problem.
Fantastic TV and I am over the moon with it.
Searched high and low for a reasonable spec’d TV for daughters room without breaking the bank. This 50″ was on offer @ 269 which I though was a good price. Once installed and setup has been working fine. As I am not using it cannot comment on quality and performance but daughter is happy. For the price I was not expecting to be blown away and does the job well.
Really impressed with this TV, brought it as a gift for my mom who was using a 10 year old gen one flat screen. Works great and was easy to put on the wall. Very pleased with the value of this tv
Really pleased with this TV. Great picture and sound. Delivered quickly in excellent condition. Using the TV with Sky Stream and enjoying the channels and features of the smart TV.
Was very happy with TV.. after reading reviews I got scared cause a few Saif the received and it was cracked screen… so I asked the 2 delivery drivers to open box for me as I’m disabled and live alone so.it would of been nice for the help also to check.it wasn’t cracked but they said no so I had to get a neighbour to help.me .. my TV was in g
Perfect condition it’s a bit fiddly to set up but I.got there in the end and it’s a lovely TV only down side it crashes alot and I have to keep.unplugging it cause it freeze and this is a pain cause of my disability so that’s why I’ve only given 3 stars 1 for the unhelpful drivers and other for the reason of freezing
With regular format 4k in hdr I have no issues. Dolby Vision is a bit hit and miss. The picture is very clear on all content. I don’t see any motion smoothing implemented which is perfectly fine.
The speakers are better than I expected quite loud and not too tinny. The menu system is very easy and convenient to access. The apps can be a bit laggy but once media is playing, all is good. Can’t comment on live tv because I don’t use that feature. All in all considering how much I paid its a very acceptable telly.
This is an excellent 4k smart TV , probably the easiest smart TV I’ve ever set up , no hassle at all to set up via QR code to install the app on my phone then update the TV , you can control the tv with your phone but I’ve not bothered using that feature since connecting the TV up to my Sky TV box via HDMI.
I have the TV set up to sky and to a Soundbar , both were easily connected no hassle and although this TV has good quality virtual sound , the sound bar is still better sound quality but I still think the sound quality on this TV is clear and also loud.
This is an excellent family television, it’s got a nice clear crisp display , colours are brilliant, natural looking , vibrant especially when watching in 4k , for the price the quality of the picture is exceptional value.
I’ve been using this TV for 6 months now and not had a problem , the sleep timer is a bit annoying and the TV will turn itself off and give a countdown warning if you haven’t switched channels but that can be easily fixed in the settings.
Connectivity and functionality is brilliant, I can stream YouTube videos to this TV or you can use apps easily , but we use it through sky TV and it works brilliantly.
I like that you get different possibilities to fix the TV stands close or spaced apart , there is also a large gap so the soundbar doesn’t obstruct the TV screen.
Definitely the easiest TV I’ve ever set up and the picture quality is as good as tvs double the price.
I’d definitely recommend this smart tv it is excellent value.
For general viewing the picture quality is good, sound excellent and contrast sharp. We’ve no complaints at all and are very pleased with our purchase. Ordered it on a Friday, told to expect it on the followinf Tuesday and to our surprise and delight it turned up the day after we ordered it. Marvellous.
I was so scared after buying then going back to read reviews and it was all filled it’s negativity. I was so scared but it came safely , the graphics is the best, sound lit . Buy if you want . You will love this 55inches tv
TV is obviously 4K and pretty good quality for the price! Though, the software VIDAA is a bit weird to navigate and only has a few apps you’d need. Me personally I wanted to download crunchyroll to watch anime in 4K but they don’t have it on the store. Overall its good for PS4 and PS5 or any other external device but stand alone is a bit tricky. The mobile mirroring is also quite bad and unstable so if you want that this TV is not for you.
I have a samsung entry model in bed room. Wanted to buy a samsung again. But see this more affordable one, so changed my mind. I was worried I might regret before it arrived, because I never purchased Hisense before.
Once I open the box, I am happy with the looks of it, with the thin edge, the front doesn’t look like a entry level TV.
Both picture and sound quality are noticeably better than the Samsung in the bedroom.
Only downside is delay of game, my son complained about delay when he played online game when connected to it. For this price, should not complain about it with delay. For serious gamer may need a better one. For watching TV, Netflix.., won’t regret buying this.
I wanted to buy the 85 inch version, but got messed around by another company. So I saw this and did not realise that it was the same model as I wanted to buy, but twenty inches smaller but also cheaper. My TV is now on the stand and I have given it a quick test. I use Costa Rica 4K on Youtube to test the screen and picture quality is pretty amazing, but not all videos are the same, I tried a music video and that was shot at a lower resolution but a modern video past year and it was not as good as I thought that it might be. As I have mentioned a music video, that leads me onto the sound quality, I would say that you need a sound bar really, to make the TV stand out a lot more. The remote and smart features are pretty standard and you will either love or hate them, if you hate them they you will have something like a Fire Stick etc. As for mounting on a stand or the wall, the VESA holes are covered by a panel, so you have to remove that first. My second Hisense TV now and I am more than happy with both of them. The quality is quite good and the price is fantastic, yes you are not getting top of the line, you would have to pay thousands to get a decent TV, but for less than five hundred pounds, I am more than happy with the 65 inch screen that I brought.
The picture quality is not fantastic but I guess for the price it’s a bargain. It has alot of extra features and shortbuttons on the controller to get you to certain apps fast. It’s a pretty decent TV and with the size it catches the eyes of visitors.
Great tv 55inch fhd and 4k at this price 330 pounds very happy with my purchase tv arrived quickly and undamaged it’s great for gaming and as standard tv. A few drawbacks however as it a bezelless design it it’s very fragile on the sides as to much pressure will crack the glass as I installed myself mounted on a wall it wasn’t easy as you have to handle with extreme care unlike other TV’s which you can just pick up without thinking about it so would recommend at least two people to install on a wall it’s absolutely fine with the stands though also the screen is very reflective which dose get annoying. I wonder if Hisense has a film that you can put over the tv screen to reduce it’s reflectiveness like a phone screen protector just a thought hense the 4 out of 5 stars another slight annoyence the viddia app is useless as you need to connect via lan will not accept WiFi note the tv can connect to WiFi for streaming ect but to connect to the app you need lan very confusing.
As a TV it is a lot of bang for very little buck and I can’t fault it. Where it falls down for me is when it’s a smart TV. The smart TV is powered by VIDAA and I personally don’t think it’s half as good or accessable as a fire stick. That was easily rectified by just plugging back in the stick and turning off the VIDAA system. Don’t be put off because it is a beautiful TV, the price is a steal, sound is great, picture is sharp, colourful and it looks perfect in the corner of your room. It’s down to personal choice and I personally don’t like the VIDAA smart TV system and others might prefer it, but don’t let that put you off buying a fantastic TV. ( Star deducted only because I don’t like the VIDAA system)
What a brilliant purchase! I bought this for my son so he could play his new xbox on as I wanted a 4k TV. Its fabulous! The screen resolution, sound quality, finish and smart features are all excellent. Ive bough both LG and Samsung TV’s in the past and Ive been underwhelmed by the sound and picture quality but this TV is a bargain, exceptional quality at 2/3 the price that I’d paid for others. Also the 43″ looks bigger than I was expecting. Really happy with theis purchase, so much so that Ive bought another one!
Great picture, sound and wide range of Apps. Recommend without reservation.
Easy to setup. For the money it is top of its breed! Sound isn’t that great so.a. soundbar would be advised.
Great value for money. Size is perfect for those who don’t want a TV that takes over the room. Picture and sound quality are very good
The picture quality is well above the quality normally at this price point but the sound was surprisingly very good.
Am really pleased with this TV. Picture quality, sound and smart features are brilliant. Would recommend.
I bought this for my bedroom, I was looking for a 4k screen tv that also played MP4, MKV etc videos from an external USB flash drive and it plays them no problem. Picture quality is good nothing brilliant but it’s fine for watching in my bedroom. Dolby Vision doesn’t compete with the Dolby Vision on my LG OLED tv but it does the job. I like the fact that it has an option for night mode in the sound setting so as to not disturb neighbours or other family members. It has a good range of apps Disney plus, Netflix, Prime video, Youtube etc and connects wirelessly no problem. I would recommend this tv for a spare room or bedroom and it supports 4k.
Had this tv now for over a month and for the price I paid (230) it is Brilliant. The picture quality is amazing, all the hdr formats and a really good mix of pre installed apps (netflix, disney, prime video and YouTube to name a few)
Yes the sound isn’t brilliant but who doesn’t use a sound bar or 5.1 system anyway. The viewing angle is narrow but for this price no complaints . My advice get a disney + subscription or netflix and sit back and enjoy 4k dolby vision . wow
My first 4K tv, shows & games look considerably better.
Although I am struggling with black levels, some dark scenes in the new last of us show for example, are just a mess. Overall its a great price for a decent upgrade coming from 1080p.
Good price and quality, but not so smart. I would have thought a smart tv would have a browser or at least search for apps like Now TV, but no. So I had to buy a firestick to allow me to watch Now TV
This is a decent tv at a good price. The big negative e for us is that you cannot use the optical output and internal speakers at the same time. My husband uses hearing aids that connect via the optical output connection which means he listens or I do, not both comfortably which our previous LG model allowed for.
Good picture quality, tou need to play with the setting to switch off auto dimming and stuff but once you configure it to your need it’s quite good.
A couple of criticisms. Basic remote and no setting preset programming. You cant just click one button on remote to change settings, you need to do this manually each time. Playing videos from USB can be a bit buggy (although useable) when you play videos via USB they sometimes say it doesn’t recognise the file and you have to reset to factory settings to make it work again.
Theres no way to forget connection info without restoring to factory settings.
Power consumption is high. It’s an F rating in UK.
Appart from these litte snags it’s quite a good TV. Some people are complaining about the sound but sound is suitable it you live on a semi with next door neighbor’s.
The refresh rate is good for gaming. The colours are vivid.
For the price tag, this is a steal.
Update: the TV hangs a lot. Had it less than a month and it keeps freezing sporadically for a few minutes befor working fine agai
Having previously owning a Samsung for many years, I decided to upgrade to a 43″ model. I bought a TCL 43P610K 43-Inch 4K Smart TV 3.0 Ultra HD but it was crap! I could not install Disney, Amazon Prime or Britbox and the palaver for trying to get it to accept casting from a Windows PC or iPad was monstrous. So I sent that back and bought this Hisense model, a bit more expensive but worth every penny.
Setup was a cinch, all the apps I wanted were pre-installed and logged in to my accounts very easily.
Using the MEDIA button, it found my NAS drive so I could see all the Photos and Videos I share with the family, no logging in or errors.
Then finally I tested the CASTING from Chrome to the TV, that worked but only for some streaming services. I went back to the user manual and then pressed the INPUT button, there at the top of the screen were the usual HDMI inputs available but also SCREEN SHARING. Clicking that and then going to the PC – SETTINGS – DISPLAY – MULTIPLE DISPLAYS, I had the connect to a wireless display option, clicking CONNECT and WOW! Select the TV from the list and there it was, straight on the TV Screen! 🙂 in 1920 x 1080 (the laptop’s max resolution.
Lastly, with the old telly, I used a BT adaptor for my Headphones. I Went to the HOME SCREEN on the TV, selected the GEAR icon and then NETWORK. There was the built in BlueTooth option. I connected it to my headphones and it worked first time!. No more adaptor required, no more plugging and unplugging the connector to the headphone jack, I just power on the headphone and the TV automatically connects.
All in all, I have not yet checked all the settings for the TV but slight adjustments to the defaults to bring down the saturation level and the sound changed to THEATRE mode and the set it perfect.
A great TV, delivered with care and bang on time.
