Having been previously let down by Amazon delivery with another laptop. I found this and the experience was the polar opposite ! Possible not the laptop for a gamer but this does every thing I want and more.

Really great product HP have really improved their batteries on these devices. Picture is alot better too. (Previous laptop was an HP, 8 yrs old).

Overall this is an excellent laptop for 400 (ish). It is lightweight so easily packed for travel. The AMD 5500U processor copes with all tasks quickly without chucking out loads of heat / fan noise and has great battery life. The built in graphics are good enough for almost everything (except serious hard core gaming). There are only 2 minor downsides – The display is fine but lacks contrast if not viewed from straight ahead & the keyboard can be hard to see as it doesn’t light up. Although 8GB RAM is fine for most there is a spare RAM slot – easily upgraded to 16gb (2x8GB) for 20(ish). The supplied 256GB SSD is fast – but can quickly fill up – so when upgrading the RAM I added a Western Digital (WD) Blue 1TB drive for around 70 (Plus 20 for a USB SSD connector so the free WD software could transfer Windows 11 to the new drive. Finally I have added an awesome Viewsonic lightweight 16inch laptop travel monitor for 150. This makes a true versatile 2 screen hand luggage mobile office for under 700… I couldn’t be happier with my choices.

Delivery was quick and the laptop came well packaged. The laptop itself is nice and sleek, slightly smaller than our old HP Pavilion(which is on its way out). So far, I’ve used it for browsing the Web and checking emails with no issues and it runs smoothly. The touch pad is very responsive. I watched a movie on Netflix and was impressed with the audio. 40% volume was sufficient which was a great improvement compared to our old laptop which at 100% you could hardly hear what was being said. It’s still early, but so far no issues to report.

Lap top functions very well and quite fast. The laptop is loaded with Mcafee and 365 office, all needs a subscription, I have uninstalled these and loaded lifetime licence office 2019 and free virus software.
The HP laptop was un-expensive and the keyboard show and feels this but works very well.

Grt laptop very easy to use on windows 11 and quick ..
I’m not a computer person at all so working new things out each day .. has space for more storage hdmi and 2 usb ports plus u can use headphones..
Would recommend it if your new to laptop

I bought this to use when travelling and it is certainly up to the task. It is light and boots quickly, it has a decent WIFI card so getting online was painless.
I bought this on a Prime early access deal for 329 so a bargain and I am happy.
The Ram and SSD are capable of being upgraded which is always a plus point.
I haven’t had any issues running windows 11.

Ordered as a replacement for an aging Acer laptop that was taking minutes to boot up and frequently re-starting. This HP with SSD takes about 10 seconds to get into Windows from pushing the power button. It came with Office 365 pre-installed, so easy to swap our subscription to the new PC. Bought it for light use, i.e. emails, internet access and a bit of MS Word and Excel, its well up to the job. Only a 256gb drive, which could be an issue to some, but not for us.

Amazon shipping/delivery was really bad.. ordered 12th Jul with advertised next day delivery, it eventually arrived 2nd Aug. First laptop was returned to Amazon by the courier the next day, but no explanation. The Amazon agent ordered a replacement which came 2nd Aug. In-between had numerous calls with Amazon agents, all very polite and quick answering the phone, but totally unable to say why the delivery date was moved to Aug and it could not cancel it. Meanwhile ordered another one (same model) from Amazon, which was delivery 21 hours later and the agent arranged to give me the Prime Day price, but I had to pay again. Just waiting for the refund for the first unit.
