Good features Blood pressure seems accurate ECG is good Very comfortable
A little disappointed not usable for swimming but that’s the price you pay for blood pressure and ECG features
I was also was a bit shocked that the firmware needed updating and that took 23.5 Hours
But again on the plus side as i was replacing a Huawei gt it applied all my settings as soon as I conected it to the app Would I recommend the upgrade? only if you love new tech or have a need for regular BP ECG checks or just fancied a new watch
This is a good watch. It’s about 15% out on the diastolic measurement on me compared with a good-quality cuff, but I think it’s a great buy because it’s *consistently* out and I can work with that. I was able to rely on it while on holiday rather than carry the cuff BP device with me. The battery life is amazing. A full charge lasts over a week with everything switched on, and when I turned off non-essentials for an 8-day trip, I came back with more than 40% battery still remaining. The sleep tracking and HR are consistent with Apple Watch. The strap is comfortable and I like how the watch looks too. The only niggle is trying to keep the fabric inside the strap clean and odour free.
I bought this one week ago and started really love i
Substantial.
Rough’n’Tough enough for in-the-moment sports and health taking.
Reliably accurate blood pressure monitoring akin to reading via a sphygmomanometer.
My second Huawei watch after failing to kill one of their cheapies over the last couple of years. This is a premium wearable and despite its size – very comfortable on the wrist. All features are solid – GPS accurate, movement detection spot on etc, however, the sleep monitoring is as sketchy as every other watch I’ve worn. It won’t recognise I’m awake in the night unless I have to get up for the loo but as said, every watch I’ve worn has displayed that issue.
Anyway, the BP monitoring was what attracted me to this product after the GP asked me to monitor possible high blood pressure. I presented 2 weeks worth of data from the watch and was scoffed at by my GP – who then flapped as she tried 3 of the surgery BP monitors in an attempt to disprove my figures. After 5 readings we did one together Watch D on left wrist and cuff on right arm – they were only 5mm/hg different so she conceded defeat (and immediately put me on blood pressure medication ).
In happier news – 70 odd excersizes recognised and accurate GPS means you can see your jogging routes in great detail. The 7 day battery life appears about right and the construction appears up to the job so all in all I’d say this is well worth the money asked
After a series of sport Samsung smart watches a good health monitoring Watch
Great watch for health monitoring at any time. Accurate compared to normal cuff blood pressure monitor. Tight and comfortable strap.
I upgraded from the Hauwei Fit watch which I really liked. I bought this one because of the upgraded health features. This seems to be fairly accurate with blood pressure, having checked it with a standard machine. Skin temperature monitoring is constant, working in the background. That too, seems accurate although I didn’t cross check it. I was disappointed that the ECG doesn’t work in my area. Overall, it is a good solid watch with great features. That said, for the more than 200 additional for this watch over my last one, I’m not convinced that the additional cost was worth it, not only because the ECG does not work. I had written to Hauwei asking them to allow blood pressure to be mannually added on the app, like weight is now. For me, that would have been an easy solution. I’ll keep my watch but if you have any of the other Hauwei watches and you are satisfied with them, I would not recommend upgrading.
I did a sleep test once cost me 200 for ONE test, one analysis. This watch does it EVERY night. Apart from telling the time and the weather outside, workout distances and calories burned, daily steps and standing time/exercise time and constant heart rate, it can measure Blood Pressure, Blood O2 levels and can perform a basic ECG… not bad for a 350 watch AND battery charge lasts 5-7 DAYS depending on what functions are used and how often. I charged the watch to100% on Friday, today is Tuesday. I went to gym Friday and Monday, OUTSIDE walk Saturday and Tuesday using GPS, have performed a number of BP tests and still have 59% battery… very happy with this purchase.
Although claimed to be accurate within 3mmHg the watch I had was over 20mm out compared to a cuff measurement. There’s no calibration facility (as there is with Samsung Galaxy 4 & 5) so not for me. Certainly a very presentable watch, comfortable & easy to operate.
Battery life and accuracy of the health monitors are the bes
Just a brilliant watch work so will tell you all you need to know about what’s going on with your heart and blood pressure 10/10
It’s amazing to have such a beautiful and unique piece of tech on your hands, I check my BP any where and it’s accurate with my Withings blood pressure cuff. Really pleased I bought it a must buy. Thanks
