I love my Instax Mini 40! It’s a nostalgic, interesting and fun way to capture memories through photos. It’s very easy to use with automatic exposure and a one-touch selfie mode12. I bought this item as a gift and it was a brilliant gift as it was very easy to use just insert the blank Polaroids and snap the photo. It also has a small mirror on the camera for selfies and a nice viewing hole for taking photos. Simplest version of a polities but brilliant for just fun photos and definitely worth the money.

Only down side is there is no film included with this package so be aware and order some at the same time.
I rechecked the Amazon page and cannot find anywhere it says no film so perhaps a rethink on this page or a bundle?
Fits perfectly, sturdy and fit for purpose. Magnetic sections so to top section can be removed for easy access to the buttons and lens without fully removing it from the bag while still keeping it protected.
Very good for price. Great and reasonable price film and easy to understand, with diagrams instructions. Excellent present, package I had comes with 20 shots and batteries.
I was looking for a camrah to take photos with my friends and give it to them on the spot. This is a good camrah. Its fun to see the pictir slide out. A weeee bit expensive for the film. I get the insta minie 10×2 for 14.99 or that could be the on sail price but many not. Do not use in near darkness it turns out black and hard to see. Have fu
Small pictures but high quality prints. Looked at other options before deciding on the “mini 40” and am more than convinced that I have made the best choice. Also bought a multi frame to house the prints so now have a very pleasing display
I had a Lomography camera which used the same film, but as it was faulty I was left with 2 packs of film. I didn’t want to pay a fortune and didn’t want a pink Instax camera.
Went for this one and so far really pleased.
Not so with the Mini 40, I love the vintage and textured appearance. Taking photos is easy too, no fiddly settings to tinker with here. Just two buttons – One to extend the lens barrel, and the other to shoot.
I found that the pictures that the camera produces are generally good under most lighting conditions and there’s something about instant photography that’s just fun – and addictive.
Anyway, I’ve had the Mini 40 for a few weeks now and am very happy with it so far. It’s a great camera that not only produces good pictures, but is also simple and fun to use. I easily recommend it.
The retro, faux black leather look housing instantly reminds me of the old film cameras of yesterday-year. The camera itself is small and light enough to carry around on a day-to-day basis. It was great to quickly grab it out of my bag, press the single button to power it on and have it ready-to-use straightaway. I managed to capture some wonderful photos of my daughter, family (and the obligatory selfie or two which the mirror on the front helps with!).
For anyone who wants to have a super-simple instant camera with them on the go, this one should definitely be high-up on their shopping list.
