Hello. I just received the monitor as a gift. I can say that is extremely great.
I will be extremely happy if someone can let me know where I can find a wall support for it.
Thank you.
Great screen less stars as fiddly to adjust screen brightness and volume and there is only a connector on the RH side which is tricky if you want to have it as second screen on the RH side
I keep finding different uses for this uses for excellent second screen for laptop, it’s size is decent so I am able to see easily, it is perfect portable display for camping, the only draw back is the need for additional power. The overall picture quality is really good, crisp and sharp with inputs via USB C, a HDMI mini which are included, very good in overall quality.
Great monitor for the price, light weight, compact, crisp screen. Use it as a 2nd monitor for my laptop. Wire provided for connection is a tad short if you have your type c connection.
Only complaint is whenever you switch the monitor off it resets the monitor settings, so I have to adjust the screen brightness everytime I switch my laptop on.
Other than that, 100% worth the price, would recommend as a second monito
It is an important tool for office activities. In general, I am satisfied with the purchase. I’m a bit disappointed by the annoying error message that appears every time after the source laptop comes out of sleeping mode.
Really pleased with the purchase, did exactly what I wanted, which is to be a large screen attachment to my Samsung phone, which via the DEX software, turns it into a portable laptop. Overall quality is good, and screen resolution and viewing angles are excellent for the money.
Only downside are the built in speakers, which are weedy – max volume is barely a whisper. I can’t see any application where I’ll use them. Fortunately you can choose your audio output source, so I’ll be using a Bluetooth speaker instead
It is portable, decent-sized screen with reasonable picture quality., but for me has two downsides: the stand, and the controls.
The stand is a fold-out cover similar to Apple’s cover for the iPad. It looks fine, and does a good job of protecting the screen, but its footprint on your desk is the the same as if you simply placed the screen face down, so it takes up a lot of real-estate!. The controls are fiddly and unintuitive to use, but fortunately they’re not needed too often.
The screen incorporates loudspeakers, which I’ve not yet had an opportunity to try, so I’ve no idea how good (or otherwise!) they might be …
Purchased this in hopes of ditching my old monitor and this screen is just amazing. The brightness is well-lit enough and looks premium. The 1080p is perfect for this display as it’s crystal clear. Also works with my Steam Deck and it managed to work with a powerbank and we’ve played in the car.
Bought as a 2nd monitor for general laptop use. Its perfect for this. Stand works well, screen does have a memory even though someone said it didn’t. If you use the wrong USB cable you might only get 50% brightness but using the correct cable gives 100%. I use HDMI cable for video plus either my power bank battery or external USB-C charger or laptops USB-C port for power. Havent played a game on it as its only 60Hz and the built in laptop monitor is better for this at 144Hz. Quite impressed with it though. Used on Gigabyte G5 MD gaming laptop. The control buttons for making changes do take some getting used to as they are not intuitive as someone else said but you dont need to use these. Sound is OK not as good as the laptop speakers but perfectly acceptable.
I love the lightweight design looks very sleek and good quality
However I am struggling to get it connected to my phone
Vivid colours and good value for the money
I’m sure once it connects I will be thrilled with i
I’ve been after one of these portable monitors for a while, so when this 15.6 inch one from Koorui was offered to me I had to try it out.
The monitor comes nicely packaged with plenty of protective foam to prevent any damage in transit. As well as the monitor, you get a mini HDMI cable, a USB-C cable and a user guide. The monitor comes in its own folding case that doubles as a stand. It’s not unlike a tablet case but on a bigger scale. The construction looks and feels good quality. The screen has a matte finish and a thin bezel. In terms of connectivity there are two USB-C ports that can be used for power or for display and a mini HDMI. There are also stereo speakers and some controls for the OSD.
Connection options are pretty broad. I first tried the monitor on my Chromebook via USB-C. When using USB-C you don’t need an external power source to power the monitor. However the brightness settings are limited. ChromeOS has no problem recognising the monitor and I quickly had it set up as a second screen. I then tried it on my PC as a third screen. This was equally as simple to set up in Windows. The IPS display is excellent. With good viewing angles and an excellent pixel pitch. The colours aren’t quite a vibrant as my main display but they are far better than my Chromebook and at least equal if not better than my second monitor. The size of the screen makes it useful for both landscape and portrait orientations. It’s a shame that case can’t be removed and another mounting solution. I then tried the monitor on a number of mini consoles and computers. Again it works brilliant and the built in speakers, while not the highest fidelity, give you sound. My only real complaint is the OSD navigation can be a bit fiddly and not the most intuitive.
I love this little screen. For me it fills multiple rolls. My 2nd Chromebook screen, an occasional third screen for my PC, a screen for my mini consoles or my Pi400, and as a screen for diagnostics. It’s wonderfully versatile and it’s nice and compact to boot.
This works really well. I was surprised how easy it was to set up. Instructions are really simple to follow. Everything is really great quality. Good price too, really impressed.
I’ve been after a screen like this for a while. I work more regularly on trains or in remote offices now, and find not having a second screen slows me down.
This screen is effectively like a giant tablet. It has a protective cover that folds up and also works as a stand.
The screen display is clear, and it’s pretty easy to set up, although the instructions are terrible and no power-adaptor is included. You get a USB-C to USB-C cable, and need either a USB-C-compatible plug or USB-C mains socket to make the screen work.
You also get a large HDMI to mini HDMI cable (the screen needs the mini end).
Screen works well, and has a speaker underneath (pretty tinny, but it is ok).
Only really frustration I have found is with the buttons on the side. They operate power and volume, but also have to be cycled through to get to brightness, contrast, etc, and they are a pain to use, as they are quite erratic in how responsive they are, and it’s very difficult to cycle back (rather than forward) through the menu.
KOORUI Portable Monitor 15.6 inch.
A very decent portable monitor for the price it weighs about the same as a laptop which is a downside and the display isn’t as bright as i would have liked but its a budget friendly device. It works really well as a second screen especially for youtube or watching movies on your phone.
his is a ‘get to the point’ review.
picture quality is great – it’s definitely HD
the idea of it for traveling is also great.
it’s a matte finished screen so does well to not reflect.
you can literally have anything mirroring on this monitor!
it’s great for gaming as the contrast of colours are very vibrant.
sound quality isn’t the best. it is rather quiet so would probably be better to have an external speaker which defeats the object of having an external monitor in my opinion.
i would definitely say this is value for money. it’s a lot cheaper than most HD monitors on the market for sure.
Im amazed and the quality of this monitor from the packaging to protect it and the quality of the HD images. Tested with my gaming Laptop, Gaming PC’s & put it onto the PS5 and watched my wife play COD. The video quality is second to non and very shape. I was once told the smaller the screen the better the quality but I cant tell the difference from my gaming monitor or this KOORUI Portable Monitor 15.6 inch 1080P FHD, but then I have old eyes. Very happy with it portability and fits into my laptop bag with easy along side my 17inch gaming laptop.
Beautifully designed box
Securely packed
Very Stylish and compact
Excellent for gaming
Easy to use
Lightweight
Built in sound
Happy with the screen size
Picture quality looks absolutely amazing
Connected to an Xbox to test it and works perfectly fine also works to connect phones, tablets and more. I managed to connect using a HDMI adapter.
This is brilliant because I prefer using my phone and having this displays what my phone doesn’t (BRILLIANT )
Very happy with this Koorui monitor and would definitely recommend excellent value for money . Would make a lovely gif
So i got this as a second screen for my vtuber model and my Twitch chat, it’s also been useful for checking discord etc during streams. It sits nicely and I can turn the volume off.
The only real negative i found is that the cable was not working, it was bent inside and just didn’t work.
After purchasing a new cable it works totally fine, and is a huge help for me personally.
As it is quite small it pushes out the way easily and it is not an eyesore like a full screen either.
I would recommend for use with PC, even if you had a laptop probably works pretty good as a second screen.
So easy to use and connect to laptop, clear picture and have had no problems with it so far.
Only irritating thing is that you have to adjust the brightness every time you plug it i
Very happy with this purchase, this was cheaper than the other usb monitors of this type, but works just fine.
Monitor was packaged nicely, has a quality feel, light weight, clear ips panel, I only needed to use one usb port to power the monitor via the laptop.
Comes with a hdmi cable, usb-c cable on both ends. My laptop does not have a usb-c port so I had to use a usb-c/usb cable I had lying around.
Monitor has internal speakers, they are functional, but very poor sound quality, a decent tablet will have vastly superior sound quality.
Monitor has 2 buttons on the right hand side, they control on/off, osd menu and volume. Takes a bit of getting used to, not that intuitive.
Have been using this monitor as an extended display, and very happy so far, especially for the price.
Uses about 10 watts with one usb port.
Overall the product is really good bought as a little gaming monitor for my playstation and so far it works perfectly and the quality is surprisingly good considering the price would highly recommend
I bought this for my work computer. The image is sharp and clear and ideal for the purpose.
Needs additional setup for volume so if you wanna hear other then headset be prepared, otherwise great monitor spoton for what my son needed
Easy to assemble, well built, haven’t had any problems so for. Being used with Xbox and PC.
This monitor was bought for my 18 year old son. He’s very happy with it.
Bought this for my boyfriend for Christmas as a gaming monitor for his Xbox series S. We love it! The graphics are insane considering I payed less than 100 for it. The frames are great for fps games like Call of Duty. Couldn’t recommend this monitor enough
Bought for someone else. Seem really pleased as got 2 of them and can work magic whilst gaming on one and talking on the other!
