It is hard to fault the quality of design and engineer of this tool; a real joy in every respect. It replaces a Leatherman I purchased over 20 years ago which was regularly used and still perfect, but sadly stolen. The quality has, if anything, improved. These tools are not cheap, but personally I think they are great value and are unlikely to let you down. Providing a 25 year warranty demonstrates the manufacture’s confidence.
I am a collector and got my hands on a charge al so I had to get the upgraded version which is the charge+ and i also have a wave+ surge and quite a few more since I started collecting this year, I believe I have 8 discontinued models so far and will keep adding at least 1 Multi tool a month if I can.
Quando si pensa a una pinza multiuso, subito viene in mente “Leatherman”; praticamente un monopolio! La qualit di questi utensili, li mette una spanna sopra quelli di altre case comunque decisamente note. Non mi soffermo quindi a incensare questo brand, ma invece esprimo un’impressione che ho avuto dopo questo ultimo acquisto. Essendo da veramente molto tempo possessore di questi oggetti, ho notato che col tempo un tentativo di risparmio stato applicato anche qui; l’attenzione costruttiva, a mio avviso calata. Lo si nota particolarmente analizzando il seghetto da legno: lo spessore dello stesso diminuito rendendolo a volte poco stabile nel taglio, e quei bei spigoli vivi che permettevano fantastiche scintille nell’uso con l’acciarino, sono spariti. Ma come … aumentano i prezzi e la tecnologia, inversamente alla qualit? In questo caso, il seghetto di un coltellino Victorinox, nettamente superiore! Spero che Leatherman non si sia adagiata sugli allori.
Au dbut je voulais le Wave plus, mais je voulais l’tui avec le porte rallonge ainsi que le support a flashlight et les bits d’extra. Finalement je me retrouve avec une lame de couteau de meilleure qualit et la clips de poche. J’avais achet a pour le camping et au final je l’ai toujours dans mes poches car il a la taille parfaite pour a. Il n’y a pas une journe qui passe sans que je m’en serve finalement. J’ai aussi achet un Biburry 21 outils pour laisser dans le camion au cas, car il est supposment plus robuste. Il est beaucoup plus gros et plus lourd. Alors je recommande beaucoup le Charge plus pour la vie de tous les jours. Peut tre pas l’idal pour quelqu’un qui s’en sert comme outil de travail de tous les jours, mais on pourrait tre surpris.
Con decir que es una Leatherman en realidad est todo dicho. Es lo que se espera de ella: MUY BUENA
La serie Charge+ rimane a mio avviso una delle pi complete. Questa versione ha una lama principale lineare in acciaio 154CM.
La lama secondaria ha profilo seghettato ed dotata di uncino.
Entrambe le lame sono apribili con una mano e dotate di blocco liner-lock, inoltre tutti tool hanno il sistema di bloccaggio.
Robusta e fluida la pinza, dotata di inserti taglia cavi sostituibili.
Ricca la dotazione che comprende la custodia con elastici laterali, un set di inserti, la clip e l’anello rimovibili.
Prezzo importante ma la qualit di livello top.
I just wish it was a little bit lighter. If I were to buy it again I would’ve gone with the skeletool GX.
It’s a major leap up from the Wave Free. The tools don’t fight my fingers when deploying, it’s sturdy for camping, work and general use. I’d go for the black handled version as it’s more stable in hand and isn’t slippery like the silver finish.
Good one handed use. Just keep it oiled and clean adequately. It’s worth getting the driver extension and extra heads. That way it truly does come into its own.
L’amour du produit quand il rpond a de fortes attentes. Avec Victorinox (du ct suisse).. nous sommes ici sur les sommets en thermes de qualit. Un grand ressenti de production srieuse.
Ok so first of all. I need it a multitool capable to be what I need everyday at my job as a mechanic and this one so far of all my leatherman it’s the best doing that job, awesome 154cm blade compare to my previous ones 420c that I need it to sharpened down every two weeks. This one retain the file a lot better. Not only that the grip applying a lot of pressure in the pliers it is awesome even without gloves, all the tools that I need in hand my blade came a bit stiff to deploy with one hand so I applied some lube and hit the pvot with a rubber hammer. Problem sorted in seconds! Awesome EDC multitool and yes mine came with the leatherman charge + logo not only leatherman charge printed. And yes pretty comfy pouch with 4 pockets and the extra bits awesome.
It works as expected. No issues. I’m happy that I bought it.
Cumple su cometido en todos los casos. No es que haya utilizado todas las herramientas, pero en muy poco tiempo me ha servido para multitud de circunstancias, desde cortar alambre hasta sustituir la placa de un buzn…. muy buena herramienta
Increible como todo lo de etas marca y aun precio correcto.
