Great value as I got it on offer and extra money off on top of that so we’ll worth the money. Arrived in specified time, though was delayed but kept up to date with that, with the option to cancel if it was going to miss the date needed for. As it’s been put away for Christmas the extra couple days wait was fine.
Was around 30% cheaper than other outlets. Age rating is 8 plus but was purchased for someone slightly younger. There’s a slight step in challenge from 6+ but it was a perfect step up.

The Lego friendship bus is age rated 8+ and my day was able to build it with limited help it that was only on the parts that were slightly tricky to complete.
The bus comes with 3 mini dolls and lots of little accessories to enable lots of imaginative play.

Lego is a great go-to toy for a pre-teen child. This delightful Bus Toy and Swimming pool and slide has proven to be a big hit with my niece’s eight-year old; a real boon for long Lockdown afternoons, and engaged him from the box inwards! Much more absorbing than an afternoon in from of CBBC, and the youngster got a real kick out of constructing it. Highly recommended.

Our grandaughter really loved this but it was very expensive. Luckily we found it at a reduced price on Amazon. 790 pieces and she is 7. She assembled it on her own and took a week.

I let them build this alone and they managed fine except had issues getting the sliding part to work, 2 min checking it over and it was working fine, as they had it on backwards.

Fantastic toy and great value for money. Took about 2 hours to put together, but really great fun. Lots of hours of fun once assembled, numerous different bits and pieces to play with.
My 7 year old daughter was able to assemble almost all of this by herself. After recently getting into Lego and particular the “friends” sets she decided she wanted to have a go at one of the larger sets and will be looking to purchase several more of the larger sets in the near future.

This friends lego set is lovely and was appreciated by our nieces and nephew in fact I’d say this gets the most use out of all the lego as the actual pool is lovely. It’s not a very complex build with lots of pre assembled parts but overall is a lovely lego set that can fit in nicely to additional sets that you may have.

Wow. This is absolutely adored by my 7-year-old niece and her younger sister. They do like Lego anyway, and this has found its home very nicely.
What is so great about Lego like this is the imagination that it allows. Children have amazing creative minds, and these toys allow them to take flight, this being no exception.
Assembly then allows play: this is not a static model set.
There are loads of components, which allow for plenty of opportunities for play, all brightly coloured and well made.
There is so much here to occupy the little ones, with plenty of opportunities to extend play. This is undoubtedly a FIVE STAR Lego set.
This set was easy to put together and took me a day on and off. It is a good size set with lots of accessories. Includes 3 mini-figures and I just love it.
It’s nice that unlike other sets this one comes with 3 dolls instead of 1. There is a wealth of other accessories including a small hamster as well. The bus is huge and that was a surprise but it has loads of different areas for imaginative play.

I am willing to bet that the Lego designers had a lot of fun producing this set.
It’s called “The Holiday Bus” and based on a fitted out double decker bus. They say “London” bus but it is multi coloured not red so I am saying just a double decker bus. It incorporates just about everything that would be needed for a holiday…swimming pool (slides out from under the bus), a side extension sun canopy, on the lower deck a kitchen, dining area with fold out doors, a loo and a fun slide at the back. On the top deck we have a bedroom at one end and sun loungers at the other with adjustable sun roofs and in the middle a garden equipped with a telescope.
There are three small girl dolls and several outside items..a tennis set, a camera, a laptop, a patio set and a repair stand. So much in fact that the role play opportunities are endless.
Construction is simple enough if you follow the enclosed book. Page by page it shows each stage in true simplistic form identifying each piece and where they go. Divided into 6 stages where each stage uses one of the 6 bags of parts. Each bag is identified by a large number 1,2, 3 etc.
There is a temptation to rush but this is unwise as identifying a mistake can be time consuming. The instruction book really makes putting this bus together a joy and whilst the 235 page book looks intimidating, it has 235 pages for a reason…simplicity.
The finished holiday bus measures about 11″ long and stands 5″ high.
Lego say for age 8+ perhaps with a little adult supervision in the construction. Playing with the bus really only has one age limitation (apart from a lack of imagination with younger children to develop play scenarios) and that is the small pieces especially the three little girls are susceptible to being swallowed by a very young child.
Great fun, satisfying to build and looks like being very absorbing and entertaining to play with.

I would recommend this as a set on its own and it is even more fun when you have more LEGO.
Such criticism is negated by this brightly coloured multi-function bus and its wealth of contents allows for creativity and endless change — it literally has hundreds of components including figures, animals, vehicles, games, play items, furniture, facilities etc. The bus itself has hinged parts for access, pull-out sections that open out, and numerous add-on items to increase scope for hours of roleplaying and interaction between users.
Assembly is straightforward and age 8+ is indicated with a reference to adult supervision which is fair comment in view of potential choking hazard warning from dozens of mini pieces. That said, this LEGO product fully deserves a 5-star rating.
