very nice set, my daughter really enjoyed this, good fun for long hours
For my 7 year old granddaughter, she loved it. Lego has moved on since my day!!
i like these lego friend sets as they aren’t the typical ‘lego man’ figures and suite my nice better.
easy to build and follow instructions.
all pieces there and fit together seamlessly.
solid enough when built to play with which i think for my niece was the best part.
well thought out by lego!
I like LEGO and it is generally pretty pricey. This is no different. The price i did expect more and wouldn’t consider this set value for money. My daughter doesn’t care and she loves it so that’s all that matters 🙂
It looks like the picture and instructions are good. It’s just a shame there’s not many pieces.
So glad that they have expended the range to include new Friends. This set was a good starter park given that my daughter shares the name of one of the new Lego characters! Was a wonderful surprise for he
LEGO is always well-made, and I’m always impressed at how seemingly irrelevant pieces are used for best effect in sets like this. There are some really nice, custom pieces just for this set alone, and some nice set pieces to really build up Aliya’s room. I like the use of a pen pot, and table for tea and such. It’s really cool. The slide-out bed is also really cute!
Even for LEGO, though, just under 20 is a lot for what really is a tiny LEGO set. It’s on the more affordable end of sets – particularly for the Friends theme/line – but I still don’t think it’s worth that pricetag. Still, it’s well-made set, and very fun to build. For the age range, I do feel there are too many stickers used though; it comes to being quite a few, and no one enjoys putting the stickers on LEGO pieces!
LEGO products are, by their brand and reputation, of excellent quality and this is no different. Well-packaged and with clear instructions, the set is easy to put together with vibrant colours. The value for money given the size of the set and the time it takes to put together is questionable, but it makes an excellent present.
My daughter who is only six managed to put this entire thing together all by herself with no help. She loves it.
It comes with a nice clear, easy instructions and a perfect amount of bricks for a 6/7 year old. Very happy with the product and so is my daughter. Would certainly buy again and definitely recommend. Would make a really nice gift to as it is well packaged
As you’d expect with the lego brand this is a very good quality set, however extremely small fiddly pieces which can be easily lost! This set when made up fully is tiny and pretty much aimed at girls. The cost of this for what you receive is expensive but does make a great gift.
This set is perfect. Very beautiful and complete! A great gift option! As always Lego should not disappoint!
Lego is the best, enough said, I recommned it
Pros
– Great brand
– Lego is great
Cons
– None that i can see
I decided to build lego with my daughter. She was very excited at first and did very well with my instructions for fitting the various parts. The steps are well detailed in the manual. We took about 1 hour to assemble and at the end she was a little fed up. Once built she played with it several times. Overall my daughter and I are happy with the product. I recommend the product!
This LEGO Friends set is a pretty basic build and playset aimed at children 6+, which feels like a pretty realistic audience. Like so many of the smaller LEGO sets, there are lots of fiddly pieces to play with, like the film projector section, that don’t form part of the main build. As a result, to a child’s eye it probably looks like good value (lots to play with) but to an adult it’s a nightmare trying to keep the set together, with no obvious way for the extra pieces to be stored.
Generally speaking, this set is no better or worse than any of the comparably-priced LEGO Friends sets. The quality of these sets is always high, they’re colourful and you can tell that LEGO have taken previous LEGO Friends criticism on board by including more aspirational activities for the Friends characters to do (“creative writing” is one – I’m not sure how many children imagine their LEGO characters writing stories!).
Older children will soon complete the set and probably tire of it, but for under 10s I think this would be a great birthday or Christmas present.
My niece loves Lego, so ordered this to go with her collection. I feel a lot of Lego is more aimed at boys, so this was a nice addition to her collection. Easy to put together with the instructions and she enjoys playing with this.
A great set for my little girl who’s just getting into Lego. Instructions are nice and clear and quality is fantastic as expected. It’s a very cute set and she enjoyed doing it very happy
This little Friends sleepover Lego set is quite cute.
It has a great set of instructions that are so easy to follow when assembling it.
The characters, and the extras that they can hold are a nice size for imaginative play .
This would be a nice gift for any child and there are more sets in the Friends range.
At 17.99 at the time of writing this review it is a fair price to pay as the name is what dictates the cost.
Nice sized Lego set, great addition to any set or can be played with on its own.
Builds a nice bedroom with pull out trundle bed, two Friends characters and small dog.
Great value for the size of the set. Usual excellent quality as expected with Lego.
I got this for my daughters they loved it. If your child is new to lego this is the one that they can start and improve their skills. Instructions are clear and easy to follow and also grouped the components very well.
We got this for my sons friend for her birthday, lego is always a hit with the kids and she loved it, great for Christmas or birthdays or just build yourself.
Every series of Legos has never let me down. My children like to build Lego, you can build them according to the patterns or let children use their imagination to create different scenes, which are very challenging and interesting for kids.
Lego Friends Aliya’s Room
Interesting new Lego Friends set, somewhat different (for example) from the classic Lego city sets.
– the figures are much larger than Lego mini-figures at ~5cm tall (though still made from Legs, body, head & hair), figures having moving arms with hands that will hold items, and legs can bend as a pair
– the figures are named, to encourage guided play, this sleepover set includes 2 figures Aliya & Paisley
– for a 209 piece set the instructions are very detailed running to 102 pages! Nice figure on a line showing progress through the build at the bottom of each page
– the set includes stickers (bookshelf, film projection etc) to attach as well as some of the bricks being pre-printed as well
– the set has lots of small pieces and fine details (e.g. tea set), its a shame the box isn’t sealable once opened and/or zip-lock bags aren’t included to keep all the pieces safe when not being used.
– the instructions only cover one built model (and box doesn’t suggest any other possibilities), but plenty of play opportunities once built
The set arrives in a very colourful Lego cardboard box, pieces are split into two sealed & numbered plastic bags, base plate (16*8 dots) is loose, sticker sheet and instruction booklet. Bricks are too the high standard one expects from Lego.
Overall – nice set and design of larger figures is good as it allows Lego to operate more like a dolls set. Shame there is no storage for the pieces once opened (suggest you invest in some zip-lock bags) and this set only really builds once model. Bit unsure about the stickers, they won’t last as long as printed bricks.
The LEGO Mini sleepover party set is an absolute must-have for your little princesses. The detailed sleep-over environment is perfect for role-playing and imaginative play, and the included minifigures add an extra level of fun. The set is also a great learning tool, as it helps children develop their fine motor skills and problem-solving abilities. The attention to detail in this set is impressive, with a wide range of accessories and features that bring the party to life. The set itself is full of fun accessories, and the minifigures are well-designed and highly detailed. Overall, the LEGO Mini Sleepover set is an exceptional toy that provides hours of entertainment for kids and adults alike. It’s a great addition to any LEGO collection, and a must-have for fans of the Lego Friends.
Lego is such a classic toy but I can’t say I am thrilled with all the innovations. I’m always a bit sad when I see very “gendered” sets such as this – nothing to stop boys playing with it of course, but I’m sure plenty of boys won’t be particularly interested in a girly sleepover theme. So I will date myself here by admitting that I feel very nostalgic for the days of simple, primary coloured blocks and platforms that relied more on imagination than diagrams. That being said, I did think this was a cute set. As one would expect with Lego, the current price of 17.99 is reflected in the quality and detail but not so much in the size, which is pretty miniscule. The diagrams are clear and it’s easy to assemble and comes with two Lego “Friends” figures and a puppy. The room includes windows, bookshelves, a film projector and screen, desk and chair, trundle bed, and rug, and is embellished with potted plants, awards, homework, books, stationery, refreshments, cushions, and other decor. There’s even a box of popcorn for the home cinema area! Found it a bit odd that the projector and screen do not fit into the room itself but there are lots of cute touches like the working trundle bed, pull-out desk drawers, and rotating chair. Basically children get double the play value as they build the room, then use it for “small world” play. I’d imagine any kid au fait with Lego could build this with minor difficulty, and as well as providing play opportunities it would look cute (and take up little room) displayed on a shelf. But as these are all things we’ve come to expect from Lego, I can also say there’s nothing very surprising here – just a good, solid toy that will no doubt be loved by its target audience.
This is a superb quality Lego kit that’s very well-made, and one that’s lots of fun for little ones. There’s plenty going on, and they’ll love this. Like having their own friends over for a sleepover! The plastics are high quality, as you can tell by the pieces having a soft ever so slightly pliability feel, and not at all brittle. Lego is, and always has been the go-to construction type sets for children, and you can see why! Definitely above average. All the pieces fit beautifully.
As I’ve come to expect from Lego, uncompromising on quality and packaging. Lego is a leading brand adored by many and you can see why. The packaging is great, the parts are placed in two separate bags making it easier to follow the instructions, the instructions are a step by step guide, easy to follow with clear instructions for any budding builder to follow.
There is a contents page at the back showing all the parts included and each picture is easy to follow and clear. The instruction book, as pretty much always with Lego, is superbly clear, well put together, and simple to follow. You can tell that proper thought has gone into this. There’s also an interactive 3D app to help put together!
This is a great addition to a child’s Lego collection, or simply as a one off. My 6 years old Granddaughter has lots of Lego, which she adores. Some products once put together can seem a bit lame, but this has so many different bits that can be rearranged etc; it’ll keep them interested!
Overall, this is a super value, premium quality kit, that your little one will love. As noted. really easy to follow, clear instructions, which makes a change. Delightful and recommended
I hope this has been helpful.
