Great product for my working from home set up – great value and quality for the price
Easy to set up, surprisingly bright I have it set very near the bottom end of brightness most of the time if you run it on the highest res beware that some apps will offer very tiny menus. I have been using it for almost two years now
Great monitor for the price. Has all the functions I needed. Easy set up.
he sound was great and pic awesome very easy to set up would buy again if needed
Good quality picture and good value.
I bought a VESA compatible monitor arm and mounted this monitor to it. I’ve only had it a week but no complaints so far. It work very well as a desktop office monitor.
Bought (2) for grandchildren – easy to set up as larger displays for Surface laptops – good clarity, brightness, exactly what was promised!
For some reason, I can’t upload photos here but I’ve uploaded a video so check it out.
I have 2020 intel macbook pro and I wanted an external monitor mainly for programming.
I have to have multiple windows open and 13 inch macbook pro display was just too small.
I own 32 inch LG 4K monitor but I personally didn’t like it. Instead, I wanted something smaller, between 24 and 27 inch. Then, this thing came up on the list and I thought why not? Price was decent and the overall reviews were good so I ordered it. I just received it today and got it all set up.
I had to edit the setting a little bit cuz I think LG monitors tend to be little warm in terms of colours, but it’s still fairly close to the original setting. I did some test to check however, I could see that there are dark shadows(?) on both corners at the bottom, even before doing the test. I’m not gonna use it for designing so I’m just going to use it but yeah…don’t forget to check them.
Only issue with this monitor would be that the power adapter cable is really short and ports above my desk is really close to the table so I had to use the socket below and it was little far away. I wanted the monitor to be above my laptop but because the cable is short, it’s on my left side right now.
FYI, you can tilt the monitor up and down but you can’t move the monitor up and down. I think you can use monitor arm for this.
Anyway, I think this is a great monitor.
The 24MK430 looks identical ,has the same inputs but has an IPS panel (less pixel density, a trick Apple has been using for years) as I use it for work,I dint need ultra high 4k resolution and it’s more than adequate for the purpose for which it was purchased. As the monitor it replaces was sent to me by my employer ( which for some unexpected reason stopped working) I shall make them aware of the fact this monitor costs almost 69 less and is equally as good as its the more expensive one which will save the company 1000s of pounds. So to sum up, if you are looking for a good quality 24inch monitor that has great colour and you could possibly game on for around 100,I highly recommend this.
The screen resolution is very good, works very well with my laptop however there is no speaker. Would have been perfect if it had it, but still happy with it. 4/5 from me.
Arrived promptly after ordering. Has a quality feel to it. Good picture, easy set up.
Okay so I’ve only got this monitor today, so I will update this if anything goes wrong in the near future.
So far the monitor seems great for the price. The screen seems nice and bright and the picture looks clear. I’m using this screen for streaming and have my OBS chat on it and I can read text on it perfectly fine, I’ve even opened up pdf’s on it and can still read all the text.
For gaming I have tried it out briefly, and to be honest, apart from the colours not being super deep and bright, it holds up well and while gaming on it, I didn’t notice to much out of place. Of course a more expensive gaming screen would always be better. But for under one hundred pounds, you really can’t go wrong.
So. To finish, for one hundred pounds you are getting a nice screen that for someone needing a cheap screen to game on or work on, I would say you can’t really go wrong with this.
So yes I would recommend this screen.
I have had this monitor for around 18 months now, and while the colour and brightness are not exactly brilliant, it does the job quite nicely and works great as a second monitor for my MacBook Pro. It seems very robust and reliable (given I have been using it daily for 18 months with no noticeable issues). The price is right too!
I won’t go into details about the monitor, the spec says it all and most people (me included) wouldn’t know their ‘colour gamut’ from their ‘pixel pitch’. Suffice to say I bought 2 to replace much older LG monitors one of which one stopped working in a dual monitor setup, so took the opportunity to buy these as they have a VESA mount. That said, mounted on an arm side by side, they have been in constant use for the past 2 and half years for between 6 and 8 hours a day with absolutely no problems. Use ranges from simple games, office work, web development to multimedia use in a small home office. Given the price (100 each at time of purchase), build quality (they are very light in weight but well put together), thin bezels, crisp vibrant colours, modern minimalistic design, I’m very pleased with their purchase.
Bought to extend the visuals on my 2010 MacBook Pro. Lovely precision, with HDMI input and could nit be more pleased. This is my second LG monitor (the other is a 27inch 4k) and both are excellent. Yes, I am an LG fan, good and proper.
I bought this as I previously had the LG22MK400M (the older model) and the colours were not great, the whites strained my eyes a little. I found the MK600M’s colours to be so much better, no eye strain and image quality and brightness is fantastic. I bought one, saw how good it looked and bought another for a dual monitor setup.
I’m editing this review after over 2 years of owning it and still going strong. However one problem that’s arose, is when watching content (mainly YouTube) I get awful screen tearing sometimes. I know it’s not my PC at fault as it doesn’t happen on my other monitors. I learned to tolerate it but something you should consider.
Just received this monitor and have had no issues whatsoever.
Assembly was a walk in the park and only required a screwdriver for three screws. That’s it! (HDMI cable was included in the box).
Display is very brighter and the colours are considerably more vibrant than my laptop screen.
Customisation and configuration is average and exactly what you’d expect from most monitors. Nothing fancy here.
IPS panel at 75hz 5ms for less than 100 is also great value for gamers on a tight budget.
The monitor was shipped in pristine condition as there are currently no defects to be found like dead pixels, and backlight bleeding is minimal.
Currently I rate it 5 stars but this could change over time. We’ll see how it holds up.
Really great product. Cant believe the price for these specs and manufacturer. I’ve seen a lot of nonsense about there being pixelation visible in blues and honestly those comments are exaggerated by people who want to sound like know it alls.
In comparison to other colours on the spectrum there is a tiny bit of pixelation visible, but when I say tiny I really mean tiny. Only seems visible though when viewing lower image quality files or video. Anything like a video game or TV show being streamed it just isn’t there. But even when it is present when browsing online it’s just simply not obvious enough to worry about.
The colours are all great, very vibrant and the screen is bright. The asthetics of the whole thing is great too with the thin beazels. Looks modern but not flashy.
Very happy with this and can’t state enough that for the price getting a HD, ips, 75hz screen is amazing. Easily comparable with screens at double the price poi
It’s a solid budget secondary monitor. Brightness is weak, colour spectrum and definition is a little low. I needed a good secondary for my 27″ LG GL850 1440p monitor, and this one had the exact same bezel design, which makes it look like a well planned setup. I would never use it as a main monitor, but for a smaller secondary to have some things up for multitasking its perfect. Used it on a dual monitor mount vertically and horizontally for design and back up information for gaming and its been great.
Monitor is being used as a second monitor with a laptop for work. Display is very good with bright and vibrant display. Viewing angle is also good and there’s no issue placing it on a stand above my laptop screen. Thin bezel looks nice.
Only thing to be aware is the stand base is curved and quite wide so make sure it fits if placing on a stand. All of it must fit on the stand to be stable.
I needed a monitor for WFH due to the current situation and got researching! My budget = 100 and under!
Pros:
– Price, at the time of purchase, it was under 100 so happy days!
– Minimal bevelled edge on 3 sides, it just looks smart as a result
– You can use the stand provided (looks good to be fair!) or mount it on a pole like I did to give you a little extra room on the desk.
– Easy to connect (HDMI cable is included!) to my MacBook and the power cable does what it’s meant to do, but could do with it being slightly longer due to having a height adjustable desk (1st world problems).
Cons:
– No in built speakers within the monitor, but the ones in the MacBook are sufficient enough. You can always add speakers if you want/need!
Verdict:
Great monitor, good for having multiple windows open on the screen too. Thumbs up from me
excellent monitor ,crystal picture, great for gamers ps4 ,would definate recommend, speedy delivery also.
The difficulty with choosing something to display tv on in a motorhome is complicated by the restrictions of getting something to fit in the tv cabinet/cupboard. In our case the cabinet is just too small to get the width of a normal 22″ lcd tv in. I checked out this monitor and, with its ultra thin bezel, fits perfectly. In regards to watching tv, it does not have a tuner, however it is connected to a set top box which provides all the requirements of what you would find on a tv, ie volume and channel change etc. There is a headphone socket to connect to a sound bar or similar. Overall the picture quality is fantastic and far superior to what you might expect from a standard tv. The resolution directly supports 1080p which matches the settop box too. Overall very pleased with this monitor and would highly recomend.
