The keyboard was very noisy returned on the day it was delivered and received a full refund
I had three of the Logitech G213 keyboards, all of which I had to send back due to issues with different keys either not working or printing the characters twice, so I was hesitant to buy another Logitech keyboard.
However, I have a Logitech mouse (G502 Hero) and headset (PRO X wired) so it made sense to keep it in the family so to speak.
This keyboard was on offer, had good reviews and allowed individually lit keys. This is also the first TKL that I’ve had so I wasn’t sure whether I’d miss the numpad.
Everything arrived on time and well packaged. The keyboard has some weight to it and is the perfect size. The keys are very clicky compared to my previous keyboard (bog standard Dell corporate membrane keyboard) so that’s taking some getting used to. I think I’ll also invest in a wrist rest as this keyboard is ‘higher’ than my previous one.
The lighting is nice and bright and the Logitech G HUB software is excellent. I’ve had no trouble with it. You can set up individual profiles for specific games, add macros, pick different preset colour animations.
So far this has been an excellent keyboard.
Nice weight to this keyboard, feels solid, keys feel and sound nice, pairs with the Logitech software easily for all your profile options, response time feels great for gaming. No issues at all!
Seriously, this company never goes wrong with its kit. This keyboard is reasonably priced, and both the gaming and typing experience on it are wonderful. I’m using blue-style switches to do all my programming and this keyboard has just the right clicky-clack to not be cartoonish or springy but to feel really precise.
Can be better, I mean for this price I hope to see the bottoms without tithe RGB but is not possible.
Everything else is ok.
If you don’t mind the loud blue switches, then you may as well get the regular G Pro Keyboard. But for someone who found the blue keys really loud (both in person, but also with other people hearing the clicks in their headphones), the Shroud edition is perfect.
Nice and quiet with simple linear red switches which are more ideal for gaming with no unnecessary tactile clicks that put resistance on your key presses.
Impressed by the build quality, but the lack of configuration options in the software means you cannot unlock the power of the RGB without downloading the software library and doing it yourself from scratch.
All together a good keyboard, Easy to setup , customisable rgb, Blue switches but not like cherry mx ones a bit quieter I think anyways. I recommend this produce.
Excellent keyboard for that clicky feeling i have been chasing, i had initial problems with my first board but that was resolved by logitechs somewhat sluggish suppo
Great value for money. However, an issue I’ve had is that the “e” key (and maybe some others) will double-press, this only happened a few weeks after purchase.
This is a great keyboard..but be warned…it is the noisiest i have ever had, i wanted it for work but ended up using it for other things instead where is wasnt used in an enviroment with other people in earshot.
Just make sure this isnt going to be used for work and you know its going to be noisy, too loud for normal use for me but such a bargain i kept it.
I’m using Linux so not running any additional software to manage the lights.
All of the options pressing the light key(*) and various numbers are very psychedelic. There were no steady options. But quality feels good.
I am mostly happy with this keyboard, there are many light options to choose from and I like the sound of the keys. I will say however, the software for the keyboard does not work for me. I have tried searching for solutions and other people have had the same issue as me, the program is not able to connect to the internet, meaning some of the features are unavailable. It is a shame about this one point, but other than that, a solid keyboard.
Swapped out my full cherry blue switch keyboard for this smaller one with logitechs brown switches. Overall a good keyboard with logitechs great software paired with the “Game Mode” button preventing any mis-inputs (No more accidentally tabbing out by nudging the windows key, cant Alt F4 if Alt is disabled!). GHub also makes it autosync with my mouse and share macros, which is nice, and it doesnt cause issues with other software like a certain other brand (that rhymes with Taser) that frequently crashed programmes/started inputting on their own effectively rendering the hardware useless.
Only two issues i have is the caps themselves feeling a bit cheap (theyre standard to switch out i believe so I’ll probably replace them at some point) and what i can only describe as random clicking coming from the keyboard when not in use, which I assume is the various internal parts expanding and contracting naturally due to heat difference from LEDs vs Cold external air? Very strange and I’ve not had any keyboards do this, but its not caused any problems so far so have not had any reason to put in a complaint.
As i am a logitech person my self buying this is an upgrade from the g213 i truly love the bluekeys as the noise that emits from it is just satisfying as well as the colour modes are amazing (without the use of LG hub)
As i stream on twitch i just love the fact my microphone can pick up my keyboard clicks
Anyways i approve of this

I do not game as much as I used to but like typing on a mechanical keyboard, so bought this. It replaced a Corsair board which was faulty, I prefer the Corsair software, it is more customisable than the Logitech, I find it is a little too restrictive for my liking, the keys are lovely to type on, need slightly more pressure than I would like but only slightly, the RGB is good and bright, keycaps are good quality and the board is weighty.
I’ve always been a fan of Logitech, there products have always astounded me. When I first got this product it was all I ever asked for, quite compact, durable and in total gaming condition. This product is definitely worth the buy if you’re a hard-core gamer and want something a little bit more compact. The keys can be noisy but easily changeable for new ones that make less noise. The only problem with this product is that it’s a but pricey, originally bought for 100, I belive should be a bit closer to an 80 mark. Totally worth the buy!
I am a EPOMAKER lover for the fact that they are so nice, compact, comfortable and quick but the logitech g pro just hits different.. now I have 2 of those just in case. Amazing keyboard. Definitely recommended. You can easily customise your keys with the G Hub, create different profiles for different games and so on. Definitely a keyboard for pros!
Good keyboard. Got it for 100 but if it was cheaper its a definite go. Does not have brightness adjustment for the rgb and can get very distracting at night. My brother has the cheaper g512 and that has the brightness adjustment. Kinda dissapointed about that as im sensitive to lighting in the dark. Otherwise good keyboard. Upgrade from a cheap gaming keyboard so the differences are no fatigue after long gaming sessions.
Build quality is superb with super bright LED lighting and wonderful black finish really set this keyboard out as a quality item as you would expect from Logitech and the price point. The blue switches are very clicky and loud! (i came from cherry mx red – linear) This really is a gaming keyboard – i felt right at home playing battlefield for the first time but typing this review i would not want to be typing emails with it all day! Came boxed as UK keyboard with sign and full size UK return key. The sign is on #3 key and unlit – whilst $ sign is on #4 key and lit – as a UK keyboard id prefer my lit – the only downside i can give really.
This is a solid mechanical keyboard, my only complaint (that kept me from giving it 5 stars), is that the key illumination feature only shows the letters and numbers, not the secondary functions…
e.g. ‘/’ is lit but ‘?’ is not on the same key.
