This mouse is really well made and the quiet clicks are brilliant. The Lift does looks good on desk. After a few days getting used to it feels more natural than a normal mouse. After using it for a while, it really does improve comfort over a standard mouse.
As my mouse prior to this was the Logitech Pebble mouse, it was a big learning curve to switch to an ergonomic mouse. I’ve had really sharp pain on the outer edge of my palm and wrist (by the pinky) all the way to my elbow, so using this with a wrist splint has been a godsend! I’ve got relatively small hands so this has been a perfect choice.
Battery life is great, mouse is comfortable and easy to use. This was the first ergonomic mouse I have bought and I was skeptical whether it would be worth the price. It definitely was. I will probably purchase another to have at work. If you have any wrist or thumb problems, I would reccommend trying this mouse.
I was getting a sore wrist from my usual mouse (also a logitech) and swapped over to this one. Its really helped my wrist pain and works well.
The only issue is the multiple profiles bit doesn’t seem to work on my work laptop. Likely an issue with the work laptop rather than the mouse, but just something to bear in mind if that is your main reason for buying. I can still use on multiple devices, I just need to swap the USB reciever over.
Bought to resolve my RSI after repetitive long hrs use with an Apple mouse – and it’s been brilliant!
I have fairly long slim hands so was concerned about the reviews saying only for small hands but really no issue for me – maybe its more about overall big hands rather than long?. The additional shortcut buttons are not something I realised I needed, but are awesome – can’t see myself ever going back.
I understand the comments on it being a bit plasticky / built quality, but honestly I’m not sure what I would change. It needs to be light to keep it effortless.
The multi device switch is also something I didn’t realise I needed but has been great – switches instantly.
Setup was a bit bumpy needing to download 2 applications, (old plus the latest one), always seem to have this experience with Logitech. It’s a small thing but feels very PC, which is a rub for Mac users. But all works fine since you’ve gone through the multiple steps.
Overall very happy with it.
The angle’s so ergonomic that you forget you’re even using a mouse. The only thing I’d change is a built in rechargeable battery but it’s close to perfect.
Update – after posting this I saw some people say it turned yellow over time so I checked and sure enough it was starting to yellow after only a couple of hours use. I’ve only used it with freshly washed hands and don’t eat while using it. Returned it for the black one which is disappointing since it looked so nice.
After recently showing signs of wrist discomfort, I received this as a gift to help aid in tackling some of this said discomfort. It’s been early days, but the adjustment in wrist positioning has absolutely helped. Being a huge logitech fan, I wasn’t even aware that they produce these types of mice.
Incredibly comfortable to use, nice soft grey texture on the palm side of the mouse, combined with soft pressing buttons on either sides. Gone is the old, tiresome noise of the traditional mouse clicks. I also don’t feel as though I’m dragging this mouse from left to right, it is a very comfortable glide. This entire design seems so slick and modern, I really am enjoying it so far.
Bluetooth pairing is also spot on – at a flick of a button you can change between three workstations – great for me as I have three different devices that I use this for. Happy days! Logitech continue to impress me over the last 4-5 years and it looks like they are more and more the company to choose for computer peripherals (I own a G915 TKL keyboard, a G735 headset and four G305 mice – and now a Logitech Lift!)
Very good product. Highly recommended.
I had tried the larger logitech vertical mouse and found it to be too large for comfortable use because I have medium to small size hands for a male. I had been using an old wired vertical mouse. In comparison, this one is more comfortable and the feel of clicking the buttons and using the wheel is far superior. I cant confirm on battery life yet. I have noticed sometimes the tracking seems to get jerky but I just switch the mouse off and on and it is fine again – probably something to do with the connection to computer rather than the mouse itself. Overall a great user experience. One note, I have a logitech keyboard aswell and you are supposed to be able to use a logitech app on your computer to configure to use one dongle for both devices to save on USB ports. I have both devices plugged into a USB hub rather each of their dongles, rather than connect over bluetooth, so that any computer connected via just one USB c cable has full connectivity to monitor and peripherals and power. Putting both over one dongle would have been great but unfortunately I could not get it to work.
I have been working with computers my whole adult life and I was finding it increasingly more difficult and painful using the normal style of mouse. I got this hoping it would help and I’m not disappointed. Would highly recommend.
mouse arrived and works well on bluetooth but the logi bolt was missing from the package and need a replacement for missing item…..part not missing but hidden in the battery compartment unknown to myself. All good now and the mouse works as intended and is an excellent alternative to traditional mouse and so much kinder on wrist.
Recently bought it, so my review won’t be delving into durability or connectivity after a time. So far, it’s great! I bought this to replace my 2yr old ergonomic mouse from Anker and this came highly recommended by other users. Easy to connect with a mac and regular laptops, have not had a problem at all. It feels comfortable to hold, but I have small hands so maybe that’s why. I can see this being uncomfortable for longer than 8 hours so maybe take breaks if that’s what you need to do. Overall, works for me, beautiful color and have not had any issues with it!
I had an arm pain last year and the physio said I may have spending too more hours in front of computer and mouse. So I follow her advise to get upgrade my mouse. The good thing with this mouse are:
-design for small hands. Amazon has I don’t know more than 20-30 of this kind of mouse but they are too big for a small hand person like me.
-easy to use? Basically once you put your hand on it , you will naturally know the position to grab the mouse. I have no issue at all
-quiet mouse, it doesn’t make the mouse clicking noise
-battery last long. I’ve been using this for a year now, almost daily work based but I am still using the first battery
-colour is cute! All my colleagues said it’s very pretty pink and there are other nice colours for this mouse as well
After all the down is the price!! But to be fair this is the only small hand ergonomic mouse I can find on internet. So if you can afford it, I would recommend this produc
It is a Logitech and it has the Logitech quality… It is so easy to use and it feels so comfortable in your hand and it just glides on the mat…. Great product…
Amazing product I didn’t know I need it until now. So far, so good. You can really feels the difference, the silence clicks is brilliant and very soft. I love it! Also it has an app that’s very handy.
I bought this mouse after trying a cheaper model which wasn’t very good. This one was infinitely better. I was getting arm pain when using my original, normal mouse and this one has really helped. I do exercises too. My hands are quite large for a woman and the mouse is a good size for me, apparently the older Logitech upright mouse was bigger – it must be pretty big because this one isn’t petite. Because most people use the ordinary mouse orientation and this seems to be a bit specialist, finding a good cheap upright mouse is challenging. I can recommend this mouse but it’s not cheap.
I have used vertical mice for over 15 years after spending 8 hours a day with a standard mouse caused me pain and eventually I got a ganglion. I switched to a verticle ergonomic mouse the ganglion and the pain disappeare.
My last verticle ergonomic wireless mouse was a Evoluent 4 mouse, which the buttons started to fail on within two years of purchase. As they cost over 100, I decided to try an alternative.
The Logitech lift is smaller than the Evoluent and also, all my previous ergonomic verticle mice but it is comfortable to use and I quickly adjusted to the size. I believe the Logitech MX is larger but it is also a lot more expensive and only the Logitech lift was discounted during Amazon’s black Friday deals. There is not the same kind of options to customize the Logitech mouse buttons as the Evoluent software provided but in truth playing with the button set up on the Evoluent caused issues/glitches with some programmes, I just put it back and then only used it on standard anyway
The reason I marked the Logitech lift 4 stars is due to the battery life. The accompanying Logitech app, shows the battery charge level, which is great and not something I have had with my other mice. However the extent of usage I get from a fully charged battery ( I use high quality eneloop pro or Kentli lithium rechargable AA batteries ) is a lot less with the Logitech than it was with the previous mice. At first I thought it was probably that the Logitech took longer to enter sleep/hibernation mode, when not used but having started turning the mouse off via the switch on the underneath of the mouse, after I finish using it, has not made a big difference and the mouse still has a shorter battery lift than my previous devices.
As I use rechargable batteries, this is no real biggie, so only one star dropped. If I used non rechargeable batteries and having to purchase new ones much more often the added expense iwould be a bigger deal. To give a scale. Previous mice I would have to pop in a fully charged battery roughly every four months. My first mouse verticle mouse had an internal chargeable battery, it would last over six months between charges (this mouse also by Evoluent lasted seven years but they stopped making them a long time ago) the Logitech lift I get two months tops.
Exceptional ergonomic design! The Logitech Lift vertical mouse has dramatically improved my son’s daily computing. He has been using a vertical mouse for quite a while, but it was a cheap one. Logitech has definitely become an awesome upgrade! It’s comfortable, precise, and greatly reduces wrist strain. A game-changer!
(Pictures from almost a year of use August to June)
Very comfy mouse, it’s been great for my wrist pain (as far as I can tell, I could be wrong)
I’ve had mine for almost a year now, I had some lag issues for a little while, but plugging the receiver straight into the motherboard (the upper part of your computer tower) seems to help a lot. I think as long as it’s not plugged in below your graphics card it should work okay.
It’s kept very well over the time I’ve had it. A wipe down and some button dirt removal would have it looking good as new. Wireless unfortunately means it’ll have nothing holding it if you knock your desk, so be careful of dropping it.
I love the scroll on this mouse, it’s so addicting. surprisingly sturdy since it’s survived a few drops from me. oops. I’ve tapped my scroll wheel back in place after a few unfortunate drops…. gladly it’s magnetic so it wasn’t really damaged
if you don’t have space to plug in straight into your motherboard, you might want to consider wired…. unless you don’t have a lot of things plugged into your pc or a beefy graphics card, the lag can get really annoying. thankfully some reorganising of USBs sorted me out.
only 4/5 cus of the lag problem (maybe Bluetooth just needs that priority in your pc idk), but also can be a little awkward to hold sometimes. my hand is 7inches… just out of the small range so could totally be on me. certainly will update to 5 stars if it still works as good as new in a few years, I did pay 70 quidd for it after all, it would really suck if it broke in a couple years from now
I am on the computer around 10 hours a day and started showing signs of carpel tunnel. From the reviews this mouse seemed like the ideal solution. To start with I absolutely hated it, it was so different to what I was used to. I persevered and it paid off I will never go back to a traditional mouse. My wrist is now fine no symptoms or aches it completely resolved the issue. Highly recommend it but do be prepared to take time to get used to it. It’s a lot more expensive than other ergonomic mice but you get what you pay for it’s smooth, super quiet and now very comfortable. I have really small hands and it’s perfect for me. Really pleased with this purchase thanks to Logitech for making it so great 🙂
This is (obviously) expensive for what it is, but if you work at a desk for 40 hours a week, you’ll really feel the difference. I previously had a cheaper vertical mouse that had stopped working, and wasn’t available to buy a direct replacement. I was still getting some RSI pain in my thumb, so I thought I’d take the opportunity to get a nicer replacement to see if it helped at all.
It feels great, everything moves super smoothly, and my hand pain has really settled down. Very happy, definitely worth the investment.
Very good and ergonomical. Don’t game much now but no issue when play Far Cry 5.
I have early onset psoriatic arthritis in my dominant right hand which is not ideal since my job involves computer work. Since switching to this from Apple’s typical mouse, it really has helped prevent fewer painful episodes. I was skeptical at first if it would help and if it was user-friendly, but it is! Highly recommend for others experiencing joint pain in the hands and who still need to work with computers.
I spend all day everyday at my desk, and my wrist was starting to ache. A friend of mine recommended this mouse and my wrist hasn’t hurt since. It took a few days to get used to it but now it’s second nature. Really strong recommend.
Very comfortable for every day use and gaming, has not caused muscle pain or shoulder pain, use with arm rest as well.Could be bigger for easier grip.
This is expensive vs other options on Amazon but feels much more solid (I have one of the cheaper ones too). Quiet clicking is nice and the option to connect with or without the dongle.
Maintains a great connection with no cursor stuttering, comfortable to use (although it’s a little small for my large hands), easy to set up and looks great. This mouse has a lot of customisation options if you install the software, some of which are genuinely helpful. It’s a little pricey but if, like me, you’re tired of subpar wireless mice then it is worth the extra money.
Very comfortable and much better than the laptop version. Very accurate and comfortable.
I’m still debating on this mouse but am gradually getting more comfortable using it and the fact that it moves nice and smoothly is a real bonus.
I was a long time magic mouse user. My wrist finally started to give out on me. I regularly had ocassional pain. Ever since I switched it’s been great. I didn’t find it difficult getting used to arm motion for vertical position. The Bluetooth device selector is very quick.
Other devices I tried were always too big for me to use comfortably which defied the purpose of the ergonomic mouse.
This is a much better size for me and works as expected. It has helped relieve the pressure pit on the wrist with flat mouse
This mouse is a life changer. Really comfortable and really easy to get used to. I was used to it within the first hour, and now I’ll never go back to a normal mouse. So worth it.
1. Quite but click responses perfectly every time 2. Scrolling wheel is very strong but rolls easily. 3. L n R buttons are on perfect place under Index and mid finger. other finger has place to rest under them. 4. Rubber grip is helpful to hold tight without effort. 5. Moves on pad like foam on water.
It demonstrate the reason why people should buy seeing a good brand name like Logi.
I was getting a lot of ulnar pain due to my posture and use of keyboard and mouse. I fixed my posture and got a kinesis keyboard, both helped massively. But I was still getting wrist pain from my trackpad.
I had another vertical mouse which seemed to help but was unreliable. I didn’t want to spend a lot, but in the end I splashed out on this logitech. For me it is totally worth. It feels good, it’s nice and smooth to operate, the buttons are so elegant and don’t make any clicking noise.
Most importantly, no more pain.
I love it, and it was worth it for me.
I have found that many vertical mice, despite their ergonomic shape, are ultimately still tiring to use because of being difficult to click without squeezing the whole mouse. This mouse, however, has a very responsive set of buttons that feel just like a well made, regular mouse.
Also, as someone with small hands, it is great to have a vertical mouse that fits well into them. Using a mouse that is too big is doable, but it does involve stretching fingers and tilting the wrist in ways I am not having to do with this mouse.
Plus, I love that it comes in pink. It matches my Sakura keyboard perfectly.
I have small hands for a man. It is early days but it was easy to connect to my MacBook. I wanted the darker coloured non-mac version as it matches the slate grey of the MacBook better and has a dongle hidden inside it for connecting by another non-bluetooth method. I think it looks great and I am not concerned about its bulkiness. I bought a specifically designed hard case to go with it so I can drop it into my backpack. I have yet to work out what to do with the additional buttons but in simple use, it has tracked flawlessly and never lost connection. Well boxed too!
I was excited to buy the Logitech Lift because I thought it was very aesthetically pleasing on Instagram accounts that I follow. I was lucky enough to buy it a month ago and I have to say I’ve been impressed with the silent clicks and also with the lightness of the body of the mouse. My only qualms are that it can sometimes not feel as comfortable as other ergonomic mouses that I’ve used in the past, and the white colour shows stains quite easily (my grip area has turned slightly grey with good use). So I would say the product is overpriced. Nevertheless, I love the Bluetooth functionality (I’ve connected my laptops and tablet) and I absolutely love the way the mouse looks on my desk. My partner has the Logitech Mx master and visually we both prefer the Lift.
This mouse has the most excellent build quality and is overall fantastic. The shape is certainly for small hands though. It says suitable for small-medium hands, but I think medium handers may experience minor issues with it like I do.
My finger does not rest next to the scroll wheel and I have to curl it back to reach it. The grip isn’t as comfortable as I’d like because of the smaller size (I have to fingertip it more than palm grip which can lead to cramp). The shape isn’t quite as ergonomic as other vertical mice I’ve used, and has no rest on the right-hand side like others in the category, e.g. evoluent verticalmouse.
That being said, none of this is the mouse’s fault and it is clearly a 5 star product. Just for the right-sized hands.
It tracks well, is good for smaller hands, but has the same problems that most vertical mice do: relocates strain to other parts of the hand / wrist, you knock it over ALL THE TIME, and you can’t easily lift the bloody thing off the table if you need to recentre it on your mouse pad. So I could take it or leave it – for 55 quid, it’s OK value, for 70 quid much less so.
I have been using Lift for two months for work and leisure time. It targets customers who got smaller hands and indeed it’s doing a great job. I’m also using my Carpio wrist rest together but it still feels comfortable enough to use alone. Clicks are really quiet. It can pair with 3 computers and the easy-switch is very useful. The Logi Options+ software gives limited customisation compared to the G Hub.
I have struggled to find a mouse to fit at a fair price for my life. It’s particularly difficult to find a suitable ergonomic product. Logitech nailed it with Lift.
I ‘ummed and ahhhed’ about this mouse for weeks before ordering – whilst it’s significantly cheaper than the other option I was considering (Logitech MX Master 3S), it’s still a decent chunk of money to spend on a mouse when you can get basic models for 5-10!
However, after a couple of weeks of 8 hour+ daily use Monday to Friday I am absolutely convinced this was the best decision.
My only negative is that it doesn’t have a horizontal scroll wheel like the MX Master range, but you can hold down one of the side buttons and it changes the normal scroll wheel into horizontal scrolling.
This *almost* negates the negative, but a dedicated horizontal wheel would definitely be better if you, like me, do a lot of horizontal scrolling (tasks like video and music editing for example). This is because it’s just slightly awkward, and I really have to think when I’m doing it – I often start scrolling before pressing the button so get lost in a speedy vertical scroll – maybe that’s a me problem haha!
But beyond that one issue, I have zero negative feedback on this mouse – and I don’t think it deserves the dropping of a star, as for most people they wouldn’t require horizontal scrolling anyway.
The ergonomics of it (and I mean *real* ergonomics – based around the contours of the hand during use – not just a little bit of soft touch material and some curves, like others!) are superb, though won’t necessarily be the same for everyone.
I have long fingers and decent sized hands for a woman, but wouldn’t quite call them ‘large’, and it’s perfect for me. The hand can rest comfortably, and with the wrist/forearm not needing to be forced to a flat, horizontal position (which, when you think about it, is totally unnatural) I have zero fatigue at the end of the day.
It has slotted seamlessly into my workflow and made me significantly more productive and comfortable. I use the Apple Magic Keyboard with my MacBook Pro and dual monitors, but knew this would be so much better than the Apple Magic Mouse – and it absolutely is.
Happy to answer any questions, and looking forward to the day that they update their vertical mice to include a horizontal scroll wheel!
Seems to be helping my sore wrist which is good it is expensive that is why I have marked it down a star but I guess health is important so in that sense it’s okay to have to pay but should be a more accessible price point.
Although an unorthodox-looking device, Logi’s Lift Left Vertical (great name) is the mouse you never knew you needed. It relieves virtually all of the strain that you normally experience with a traditional mouse by allowing your hand to sit in its natural position, without the need for wrist rotation.
It does take some getting used to. Although clearly visible, the buttons are not where you expect them to be and therefore it takes time to rework your muscle memory. But after this initial process it’s hard to go back.
The function buttons all work as expected and can be configured globally as well as to individual apps. The ‘centre’ button is a little far back from the scroll wheel for my liking, so you do need to get used to a more relaxed grip so that you can slide your hand back to press it.
I love the silent clicks too. I think ‘quiet clicks’ would be more accurate as they’re clearly never going to be completely silent, but again compared to non-silent models the difference is night and day. They even feel better because of the sound dampening.
All in all, perfect mouse for lefties!
After nearly 30 years of staring at a screen for a living, I started to get some pain in my arm. Not 100% sure it was the mouse, or the Xbox controller that was to blame, but I think it was the mouse as it’s improved after a couple of weeks using the Lift. It’s billed as being perfect for those with smaller hands, which mine aren’t, but I’ve always favoured a smaller mouse, and find this a perfect fit.
However, having used Logitech’s premium mice since 2009, I’m seriously struggling with the lack of their superb hyper-scroll feature! Once you’ve got used to that feature it’s seriously frustrating to not have it, especially on such a recent product. It stopped me going for their MX Vertical mouse some time ago, and whilst I knew it wasn’t included with the lift, the need to tackle the onset of an aching arm trumped the missing hyper-scroll. This might not bother you if you don’t do a lot of serious mileage with the scroll wheel, but if you do, and you’re used to hyper-scroll, I can’t stress enough how frustrating you’ll find its omission. If they released a version with hyper-scroll tomorrow, I’d drop another 70 on it in a heartbeat. I guess there might be a technical reason it can’t be incorporated in either of their vertical mice, as it’s been available on their other mice for years. Apart from that, build quality is OK. Not quite the same as the MX products, but good enough.
Another consideration is that you’ll need to install Logitech’s latest software, ‘Options +’, as the Lift won’t work with their existing ‘Options’ software, and not all of the older devices have been ported to that platform, yet? I think the wireless receiver is different, too. You don’t need their software to use the mouse, but you’ll miss out on some of the properly useful customisation feature that Logitech are pretty good at.
If you’ve got arm pain, and want their useful customisation, I’d give it a go. If you’re not worried about customisation, I’d be tempted to go for one of the considerably cheaper options on Amazon. If you don’t have any pain-driven reason to use a vertical mouse, try their Anywhere 2 or 3, as they’re much better mice.
So, this arrived at the end of a long work day for me, and I swapped it out to have a go.
It wasn’t until I had the genuine back-to-back comparison that I really understood how much more comfy this is than my regular Logitech M580 mouse.
My wrist angle is completely different now, and my whole right arm feels just 10x more relaxed. Mousing, and generally pointing at stuff feels different, but no more or less accurate than I was before.
One slight thing I notice is I feel more inclined to scroll wheel with my middle finger, where on my normal mouse I’d use my first finger. Unexpected at first, but now I’ve got the hang of it, I actually feel faster to click on the thing I’m scrolling to as I’m ready to go with my left mouse click.
Bluetooth connected straight to my PC without the dongle (big bonus for me), it has the same “silent (almost) click” buttons as my long trusted M580. Everyone in my office took the mickey out of my Silent Click delight, until they had a go, then went back to their normal noise maker – suddenly everyone’s a fan!
On size, I’ve got medium size hands (when I buy gloves) for a bloke – if I hold a can of beer, my thumb and middle finger don’t meet by about 40mm to give you an idea. I’d say this mouse feels right sized for my hands. I can now understand why Logitech make a bigger “upright” mouse – the Logitech Vertical, but I’m very happy with this one and wouldn’t want a bigger one at all.
Is it cheap, no. Do I regret spending the money, absolutely not. Hope this helps!
Moved over from using regular mice for the last 30 yrs and it was fairly seamless. Mouse is very comfortable, quiet clicks and generally works very well. The only problem I’ve found so far is that if you have anything on your hands and touch the mouse then there is a fairly high chance of leaving marks on it, probably my own fault for picking the white/grey version.
I bought this mouse to go with a PC I built recently. I have RA and carpal tunnel, and I find using a regular mouse more difficult for office type work. (I still use a “regular” gaming mouse for gaming – Logitech’s G203 Prodigy gaming mouse). The Logitech Lift ergonomic mouse is very comfortable to use. I had adapted to the vertical hold position within a few minutes of use. Setup is very easy, and once the blue tooth receiver was plugged into my PC, the mouse was up and running in minutes. I like that you can customize the buttons in the Logi Options+ software. However, you are not able to access the automatic software updates feature which is a missed opportunity as other Logitech products are enabled to use this feature. Not a deal-breaker, but considering this is an ergonomic mouse and a lot of folks are purchasing it because of mobility issues with their hands having the automatic software updates feature as a part of this mouse would make the product that much stronger.
There are three colors to choose from: black, white and pink. I would normally choose white as my PC and desk are majority white, but I didn’t like the grey rubberized band on the white mouse. I instead opted for the pink mouse, which is not as pink as it looks online. In most desk setups it is not going to look out of place. The main body of the mouse is a soft pink-grey and the rubberized band on the rear of the mouse is more mauve than pink.
I’ve been using this mouse now for a little over a week, and it is easily the most comfortable mouse I have used. While it is on the pricey side, if you suffer from any kind of issues with your hands/joints/wrists or just want a more comfortable mousing experience I would strongly recommend giving the Logitech Lift mouse a go.
