I had these speakers for about a year or so when I started encountering problems. For example, it would take a while for any audio to start outputting even when connected to the aux, and even when I would touch the AUX no feedback was coming through the speakers. It slowly became even more temperamental until they would pretty much not work at all, still going to be buying a new better pair cause the sound and quality were great while it lasted.
I recently purchased the Logitech Z333 2.1 Multimedia Speaker System and I am extremely impressed with the sound quality. The subwoofer provides a rich and bold sound that fills the room, and the 80 watts peak power really packs a punch. The speakers are also compatible with multiple devices such as computers, laptops, smartphones and more, it’s very versatile. The design of the speakers is sleek and modern, it fits well with any room decor. The volume control and bass control are easy to use and make it easy to adjust the sound to your preference. I also appreciate that it comes with a headphone jack, it allows me to listen to music or watch movies without disturbing others. Overall, I highly recommend this speaker system to anyone looking for an upgrade to their current sound system.
I have an old set of 2.1 Logitech speakers that I really liked but which have now after many years, developed a fault. I didn’t want to spend too much on a new set and was lucky to pick these up for under fifty pounds.
Overall I’m happy with the sound of these. The mids and trebles are slightly better but the bass is not quite so good to my ear.
I find these to be a good set of speakers for the price I paid.
Sound quality is amazing! Good price as well for the use I needed (listen to music at home and watch movies). Easy to connect to tv and laptop! Recommended!
I bought this as recommended by a friend, hoping it works with a turntable, and it does! The sound is amazing, and the bass definitely makes a difference. Im glad I bought it, it arrived early and although I was worried as it was my first time receiving a package with DPD, it came quickly at the expected time and I was able to track my delivery, with emails provided as my package left the amazon warehouse and so on. The video I inserted definitely doesn’t make the sound justice, as it makes sound heavenly in real life. The volume control is amazing, and you can have it from the quietest you could think of to loud enough to hear from a house down. Definitely recommend!
Pretty good sound for the size of the speakers and sub. Speakers are fairly small but do the job for a computer well.
For what I needed at just sound this was a decent purchase with compatibility PS5 when purchased with a Bluetooth converter for the ps5 to recognise the speakers
For use as PC speakers only, have to say that the quality of volume and tone are very good and satisfactory.
It took me barely ten minutes (once unboxed) to get the speakers and Woofer up and running, allowing me to enjoy a superior sound quality for my computers media output.
However, for use as quality speakers for my LG television, this new setup is not so good! t’s something i am prepared to try and remedy (adding cables and connectors) as the speakers, overall, do impress me.
Footnote: do not use Bluetooth from these speakers, as my old PC does not support this tech -unfortunately.
Good value, works well, not as bassy as I had thought it might be.
The speakers are great with a lovely tactile knob to manage the volume. The bass could be a little stronger but this may be an issue with the way I have it set up. The wiring could be a little longer, had trouble wiring my sub on the other end of the desk from my PC.
I’d give these 5 star but my only complaint is that there is a high pitch whistling noise that I can hear whenever the speakers are plugged in but switched off. Don’t know if it’s an age specific thing (im 26). It’s not too much of a problem as it isn’t audible when the speakers are switched on. But it’s a high pitch irritating noise and you have to turn them on to get rid of it.
I bought this item to replace a couple of tinny speakers that I’ve had for years. I was happy with them, although they came up short on the sound quality. So I bought these speakers, and I’m glad I did. I love the punchy sound, it’s great that you can adjust the base level. Previously I would ‘cast’ my music to a Sony amp, which was fine. But I wanted something for my PC whilst I work. And wow — I just love ’em.
if you wan the easy review here it is
there ok sounding, not great but just ok. its a good upgrade form any in built speakers. the high end on the satellite speakers can get lost in compacted music but not that badly. The mid range is suppressing and good, but the bass isnt that great, despite being able to produce the sound it lacks any real punch.
but that said my headphones and amplifier for them cost about 7x more, so I cant really give a fair comparison. (i use dt770 pro 250ohm and an ifi zen 2 amp and dac combo if your interested)
but as i say in the title there ok for the money you wont be sad, unless your a bass junkie that is
The speakers are very fun to use but practically a little too bass heavy. Some songs get dominated by the bass and I wouldn’t recommend using these to watch movies with as you’ll always find yourself changing the volume when it gets too bassy.
Being able to change the orientation of the satellite speakers is really handy to be able to fit exactly where you want them to go or to suit your aesthetic.
The speakers are easy to set up with only three wires. However I would recommend having spare batteries nearby as when the remote runs out you can no longer pair new devices or change the audio.
The remote is also another good feature but has a slight delay on audio control and I found myself still using my phone to adjust the audio and to pause and play.
Overall a good purchase for the price but has some noticeable downfalls mainly the bass being too loud
Good speakers for the price and quality of sound is great. The only downside is liveable but if the speakers are not turned on they hum quietly. Otherwise a solid produc
Despite what some reviews may say, these speakers are hands down the best you could get for the price range. Being someone who is big into their music and speakers, I’ve had my fair share from expensive to mid range to low. The sound these give off is great with controllable bass levels as well as overall sound and I personally love the volume dial. Usually the more you spend the better quality to get with speakers but these are very nice for the price. Can’t go wrong with them for a desktop set up but if you have the funds and are looking to piss your neighbors off, there are definitely better speakers out there albeit these still give enough bass to do so.
when i originally purchased this product it was amazing and was for just under a year until the aux cable came a bit worn. It kept making a buzzing sound when i plugged it in and no music came out. However, i got in contact with amazon and Logitech about my issue and after a couple of calls and customer service messages they sent me a new one and i had to return my old one which amazon gave me a free return label.
Using this through a wired audio connection from an iMac.
Very slow to “wake up” puck device for volume adjustment. It can take a while between moving the wheel and seeing the light on and flashing indicating a message is being sent.
Once woken up it’s also quite slow to adjust, but this feels a little like a high end remote volume control where it’s damped and sometimes a bit inaccurate in quick use. You can just press on the device if you want to mute it quickly.
Lots of bass by default – too much for me – it’s adjustable also by using the puck device.
Satellite speakers are larger than I’d assumed – e.g., they won’t fit under an iMac screen.
Very odd startup tone that has an unreasonably high amount of bass. Completely inappropriate.
Nice sound quality. Good separation. Loud as you need really.
Was a little skeptical about buying these speakers, due to the comments of previous customers. All i can say to that is, they just havent set them up properly. Once All connected i was surprised of how nice these speakers are. The sound is crisp and clear and some of the comments were correct about the loudness of these, as they go loud and sound stays great.
You will need to have realtek drivers installed so you can use the “Realtek Control Manger” which is found in windows control panel after install. Choose 5.1 and then just disable the uneeded speakers by removing the ticks out the boxes.
When connecting to your PC you may need another Audo cable the Red and White plugged into your subwoofer then to your PC. Then jobs a good one all done.
I am more than happy with these Logitech Z333 2.1 Multimedia Speaker System with Subwoofer. The sound is solid, especially the bass. I mostly enjoy Blues music especially the instrumentals and this allows me perfect listening. I already own an expensive Samsung sound bar for my Smart TV so I purchased this for my PC desktop. At the price it costs the quality is hard to compare – might even be better than my expensive TV soundbar. I quite like the volume control button with easy access next to my PC: I now have enough remote control buttons to be getting on with. Fully satisfied with this product, my next move will be to order the ‘Bluetooth’ system that goes with it. I recommend this product to all you serious music lovers.

My last Logitech speaker system (Z623 2.1) became faulty twice in 2019, which was really annoying because it was amazing when it worked. The wire in the right speaker was a lot thicker than the left so I imagine that’s what led to the right speaker not working any more both times. So, I needed to find a new set up that wouldn’t fail on me.
I did stick with Logitech and got this Z333 2.1 model (ordered in 2020), but I was a bit sceptical even though I do own a few products of theirs that haven’t had any issues. I’m glad I went for this one because after a year I haven’t had any issues. The wires behind the 2 speakers are both the same size and very thin which is a lot better than the other one I had. Yes, the top tweeters on the speakers are fake, I knew this before buying and it doesn’t bother me, they still look good.
Sound-wise, it’s very good (80W), but the Z623 (400W) was a lot better in comparison – not going to complain though because I don’t use this set up for house party etc purposes where the bass is extremely important. I like to blast music on odd occasions and it does the job very well. The bass also has a button on the back you can turn to increase or decrease the amount of bass you want. I would have preferred for the main volume control to be on one of the speakers, but thinking about it, that’s probably why the wire was so thick on the old fault setups I had, so separate is totally fine. I much prefer the shapes of these speakers and they look presentable on my desk.
These definitely have power and I would highly recommend them!
First impression out of the box – they look cheap.
First impression listening – not sure, base very flat. Boom of base didn’t seem to match music. Will probably send back.
Was conscious that a lot of other reviews said they were quite good for the money so decided to give them another run out the next day. Brought out old speakers (Harmon Kardon) and played some music switching between the two. The old HK speakers were reasonable but i was just looking for upgrade with more base without spending big money.
Clarity of these Logitech speakers is amazing by comparison. Every word crisp and clear, base much better but still a little flat, would prefer more resonance. Have decided i may be expecting a bit much for the price.
Final analysis – look cheap, but a definite upgrade. Am keeping.
I bought these two cheap speakers as an experiment after I had to replace a broken television and the new one had connectivity issues with my two rather expensive active speakers and accompanying mixing box. I also tried the old system through the headphone socket on the TV and although there was a connection the sound was muffled.
However, when I ran these Logitech ones off the headphone socket the sound was clean, and as clear as a bell. They don’t have the power of my big speakers but there is volume enough and they were very easy to set up. Indeed I was so impressed that I bought two more to try to create a quadrophoic sound experience, which works – I bought a jack plug signal splitter to feed both sets of speakers.
The only reason I have given these speakers five stars because I can’t give six ! For the price they are amazing !
Seems I have a power issue where I’m currently staying which has successfully taken out my PSU and, most recently, the Sub/controller for my Z506 surround speakers, so I needed a replacement that wasn’t the wrong side of 200.
At under 50, I expected these to be passable, but after an initial shock at how they sounded, I’m warming to the quality, and feel that I had just gotten used to a “too much bass” sound.
These still have the low ends, though not as much as the Z506, but the treble is much more defined, and whether it’s games, YouTube or music, I am rapidly becoming a fan.
The extra bonus is I no longer have to worry about balancing rear speakers (which to be honest, rarely did much for me anyway).
For the money, you could do a lot worse.
I bought these a few years ago & have enjoyed every minute up till now.
This was such a good buy & offered so much value for money, after hooking it up to my pc for the first time & hearing how good it sounded i actually packed away my hifi system into the loft as it was no longer needed, it seriously is that good!
On the back of the main sub speaker you have a bass control so u can adjust the bass volume to your liking however for me i have mine quite high as it suits the music i listen too.
There is also 2nd main volume control which controls the whole system that sits on the desk with the bonus of a handy headphone input on it so when its late & just want to listen though headphones or when i’m playing video games its easy to plug into rather than trailing wires across to the pc.
Also on the back of the main sub speaker is a red/white aux in plugs so u can run a tv or something externally into it, which i have done before for movie night running a wire between my tv to the speakers.
On the whole tho this product is a beast, which offers great value for money & sounds amazing!
100% my next speaker system will be another logitect system however i might try the bigger more expensive systems in this product line if they are up to the same standards of the z333.
Awesome sound quality for the price, plenty of bass and the speakers look good. Would give 5 stars but there’s two minor points that bring it down.
1. The speakers go on standby when not in use. It does this automatically and as far as I’m aware there’s no way of changing the sensitivity. This is a problem for myself as I have my volume at 60%. Often I’ll open a video and the audio will not play. I then have to crank the volume up to get it to switch on. There have been a few cases of the speakers going in to standby mid-video also. The sensitivity should be much higher or there should be some sort of control for this.
2. Now this doesn’t bother me so much however I know it will put some people off. The tweeter speakers are fake. I don’t mind this as the sound quality is plenty good enough however I know it will put some people off.
If you’re not bothered by the above 2 points then I highly recommend.
Wow. These speakers are incredible. With a cost of 35, I was setting the bar considerably low. But I was in for a shock. They came nicely presented in a secure box and lots of packaging. The set up is fast and simple and there are easy to follow instructions actually on the box. The overall product has a very premium feel. The subwoofer has a nice sound and the base is very powerful. It has its own individual dial to control how much base is added and the two speakers, both left and right, also output a powerful and clear sound. I used my speakers with my Surface pro 7 and I have had no problem and every cable has a great length. It has its own weird remote. This means easy access to control the volume as I just have it on the top of my desk next to my speakers. It also has a very nice 3.5mm jack for headphones and power on/off button but overall the remote isn’t particularly special and feels slightly ‘cheap’ but no complaints. Overall, I absolutely love this system. It is powerful, clear, easy and no matter it’s use wether that be gaming, watching, working with audio, it fulfils it’s purpose and provides quality audio and for only 35, it really stands out, in my opinion, as the best speaker system I have ever bought.
Due to the fact that I have more money than sense, and bare in mind I have very little money, I decided to embark on the adventure of building my own PC. I needed some speakers for this build and when I saw these for sale at 26! I had no choice but to buy them! The components were very well packaged and the unboxing and installation process was a breeze. The build quality is excellent and I can see these speakers being with me for a long time.
I bought them with the idea of upgrading to a more expensive setup at a later date in mind, however I feel that the sound out of these are phenominal, especially for the price I bought them at, and even at the full RRP in my opinion. I am a musician and self proclaimed audiofile who likes to think he knows a good sound when he hears one and to my ears the sound is well balanced and after a few test songs I was in love with these speakers.
I do have a couple of critisisms however. I do wish that the remote and the included aux cable were removable, mainly from a cable management side of things. Especially as I intend to use the two RCA inputs in the future. It would be great to be able to remove the auk for a cleaner install.
My other little nitpick is the volume knob on the remote. Although it feels of good quality and has a nice smooth action, I do feel the sweep of the knob is a liitle too big. I would’ve preffered a smaller, more sensitive sweep, but that’s just a personal prefference and it may not be an issue for you.
Overall this is a great speaker setup that I am very happy with and look forward to getting lots of use out of.
Sounds great, loud and crisp, with a great bass, however, the Sub buzzes / has coil whine? Or maybe it’s some resistor that is buzzing… This is mainly noticeable when the computer is off, so much so that I have to unplug it when not in use.
I have a laptop and a desktop PC both hooked up to the speaker system so I don’t have to be swapping cables when I switch from one device to the next, which is ace.
Overall these sound great and I’d recommend them. Would love to find a fix to stop that buzzing/whining sub-woofer though. At 40 I have the ears of a teenager, which is handy for editing my audio work, but not handy when I want to tune out annoying background whines and buzzes.
Oh, and I love the fact that it has a headphone jack on the hockey puck, I’ve can plug my BD 770 pro 80ohms into it and work away into the night without waking the kids, without having to stick my hand into a nest of wires and feel around for a 3.5 port on the back of a PC. Although, I have to say, I’m not all that sold on the quality of the puck, it feels flimsy and like it might not last… Concerned, but I’ll see how it still is a year from now.
Firstly, Packaging:
These are packed very well and very neatly. The packaging will protect them, I know as my outer box turned up smashed up a bit with the corner ripped off and the speakers inside were still perfect with no damage at all.
Contents and cables:
2 satellite speakers, subwoofer, control knob. The satellite speakers both have the RCA built in. They are roughly 1.5 meter long. The Subwoofer has a 3.5mm jack. About 2 meter long. The control knob is attached to the subwoofer and is about 1.5 meter long. The power cable is attached to the subwoofer and is about 2 meter long.
Quality and the product itself:
These are well built and I personally love the clean more ‘normal’ design. The control knob works very well and is easy to use and adjust. The headphone jack on the knob is a bit useless. I have AKG headphones and they are just really quite when plugged into the control knob. Overall I am happy with every though. The sound quality.. that is really were these shine. They sound amazing. The bass is amazing. I tried Rap, Hip Hop, Country, Dubstep, Vocal and all sound good. The base control works and packs a punch.
Overall I can only say if you like the look of these speakers and like the look of the specs then go for it, you won’t regret it. I personally love mine and glad I saved up and didn’t settle for less.
My old speaker system was the legendary unit (X1 Bass X2 speaker) Logitech Z3, Can you remember ever saying or hearing someone say “They dont make em like they used to”?
Well my old system (Z3) was one of them systems, Very strong Very heavy and VERY VERY good quality! (Build/output) That a lot of PC speaker systems struggle to get even close to. (See online reviews)
As a testament to the build quality of the Z3 and its almost perfect build mine stopped working 2 weeks ago after 14 years, And thats 14 hard years of work I put on it! BBQ’s, Parties, and just as a music system, mine had been hammered, So I was gutted it died but I knew I need to do some homework on a new system, there was a problem thou, I had only around 70 to spend on one, My old Z3 cost me 75 and IF Id of known then what I know now about how reliable and the work it did for me id of paid 100’s for it back then, So I looked around and it really is a minefeild out there when buying PC hardware, So I know Logitech are one of the market leaders! But in speakers they do make some lower end models with tinny sounds and I wanted to stay away from them!
My old Z3 was made from wood and high grade alloy, kinda your top end material, I know the world is a differernt place now a days when it comes to pound notes and hardware, So I went for sound quality rather than looks this time, Well the Logitech Z333 came up on Amazon at 49.99, The first thing I do is sit and absorb Genuiune user reviews! you can get a feeling for if its for you or not, As I read on about the Z333 I liked what I saw.
Review after review was highly posative about this Z333 system!…So I bought it on the chance that it can deliver like my old system and been the same make and almost model (Z3-Z333) I took the leap of faith…Yaaaay…
Well it arrive two hours ago and I set it up, The cables are a generous lengh and not too long like my old Z3 was, The speakers fit well on my small 3 foot shelve above my new monitor and the bass sits opposite the monitor, (DO NOT put a base or speaker too close to your monitor it can cause massive issues for the screen)
Well out come the “Lightning Seeds” and then some classic rock and then some deep trance, a variation of music to test the system, TBH at first I was like “Errr something isnt right with the sound quality”…I was like whats going on? Then it hit me the bass was turned right down and the tinnyness sound vanished! It is fare to say this sytem works amazing at med-high as well, It didnt distort or sound out of tune,
If you are looking for a decent quality speaker system for around 50-100 this is a system you want to have a think about as a gamer and someone who is online 14+ hours per day I am very happy with it.
OVERALL 8/10.
These speakers are amazing for 40 pounds i didn’t expect the sound quality to come out so good the bass is even better to as i can fell it in the floor and my desk. The highs the mids and low are very present when listening to music and movies and videos.
The build quality is very good and sturdy as well for how cheap their are. In the box it comes with the two speakers and the subwoofer and volume nob as well which has on and off switch with an indicating light to tell if it is on or not and also has a headphone jack to plus in any headphones or earphones. The speakers all ready came with cables connected to them and same for the subwoofer which has the volume nob wheel connected, the 3.5mm jack to plug in to the device to produce the audio and the Uk plug connected as well to power the speakers.
It was very easy to setup as you had to connect the speakers cables to the back of the subwoofer and the cables from speakers had colour coded on them, which where black and blue and you have just had to plug it in according to the back of subwoofer then just plug in the power cable and the 3.5mm jack and turn it on their is power switch on the volume wheel which has on and off on the left side of it once its then use the volume knob to hear the audio you want to listen to.
I would recommend these speakers to anyone!
Pros:
Very Good Bass
Good Price
Easy Setup
Good Build Quality
Volume Knob with on and of switch
Headphone Jack On The Volume Knob
Cons:
None
Coming from an old Edifier 2.1 system, which sounded really good with a high build quality, I was a little bit unsure of the quality of both the sound and build. I have brought Logitech products before and am a proud to own a MX Master. This system is absolutely amazing for the price.
I’m really loving the sound quality this system is producing. However, I’d recommend a little EQ because there is sadly no built in EQ-ing (hence four stars for ‘Sound quality’) – you can change the bass volume/amount, however. On the other hand, the basic controls are good enough and sound good for the price.
Build is lovely, with premium look, feel and a small footprint. The satellite speakers are connected by one cable to the subwoofer where all the inputs and outputs are located. The power lead, 3.5mm line in and volume controller are hardwired in – would like the power to be at least separate so I could change to a longer lead in the future. There is RCA input but cable isn’t included. While the length of cable provided is antiquate across the product, I’d love there to have been at least another 25-40cm on the satellite cables to allow for cable management (hence four stars for ‘Easy to install’).
Despite a few minor problems mentioned and considering the price, I couldn’t recommend these enough!
I bought these speakers for myself, having got some for my partner a little while ago to go with their gaming rig. I have been consistently impressed with how they sound at this low price point, with a good all round sound for non-audiophiles like myself.
They have a nice simple look to them, which makes it easy for them to fit in with whatever you already have on your desk. I’ve got no issues with the length of any of the wires, and found it super easy to arrange it all on my desk. Once plugged in they worked instantly with no problems, and didn’t require any adjustment to get good sound from them (apart from turning up the bass on the subwoofer to max.)
Honestly, these sound really good, with a decent amount of power behind them. I mainly use them for gaming and some video watching online, and really can’t fault them. They have a nice heavy bass, but don’t completely distort the treble, so everything from music to voices to games sounds great coming from these.
The only minor complaint I have comes from my partner’s set, which have developed a slight whine while not in use – it goes away once the speakers are in use, but is otherwise slightly annoying when in the room with them. They’ve had their set for quite a while now though, so it may either be damage from moving them about, or a random issue that developed over time. It’s perfectly liveable, but something I thought worth sharing.
All in all though, these are a solid set of speakers for the price, and honestly sound much better than sound from built in speakers on laptops or monitors – I can easily recommend these to anyone looking for a good set of speakers for their computer.
First impressions:
They sound great!! my bedroom is currently bouncing and i dont even have the volume half way and the sub isnt even maxed out. it has great potential to annoy the neighbors.
Packaging:
I highly recommend you have a knife to cut the outer box open and a pair of scissors to remove it from the packaging, the cables were all tightly packed in so to reduce the stress on cables use scissors and gently cut them out of the packaging i’m hoping that the care I’ve taken to get them out of the box prevents me from ruining into the same situation others have of them not working a few months down the line. other than that package was in perfect condition.
The setup:
It was quite simple to set up i plugged everything in before given it power. I really can appreciate how it sounds at under half volume so i dont really need MAX power, i hope these will last a very long time hoping for 5 or more years out of them so I’m going to be careful on how i use them. the cables are long enough the volume thing has a very long cable 2 metres i guess got it on the opposite side to the subwoofer on my desk so i can easily reach it and the cable that goes into my pc that’s fed through the back of the desk so that’s long enough too.
Gaming:
it sounds good for gaming too however i prefer the directional sound that i get from my turtle beach 450 7.1 surroundsound headset. its still a good speaker set though.
So far im extremely impressed with how music sounds and happy with this purchase.
Update: (Will update if i need to add anything or something changes)
1. ive had a week of using them now ok its early days but still sounding great no problems at all if your wondering then i aint using wireless its all plugged in with cables, ive turned them up a little bit too they must be extremely loud at full volume i doubt ill ever have to go to the max when i say they got power i mean THEY GOT POWER!!!! Bass boosted music will make your house shake and most likely have the neighbors calling the cops on you they so freakin LOUD!!! best pc speakers ive ever had. hope they last a long time.
EDIT:
Bought these in 2017 for my pc still as good as new no issues at all best pc speakers ive ever bought! sounds great for music movies and games will make your house bounce if you turn up the sub-woofer! i have that on low even still its got bass sounds perfect i dont even use my cd player no more my pc is the stereo worth 50 all day long.
Ever since i have received this set of speakers, I have been very impressed. Here’s a breakdown of all the pros and cons that I have found so far:
+ Great Power – The sub-woofer is surprisingly good and you can definitely feel the bass, but it’s not overwhelming to the point where I can’t focus fully on the music/movie/TV show.
+ Handy volume knob – With the speakers you get a little knob that you can put on your desk to change the volume whenever you want. I’ve found it very useful, especially while gaming as it saves time and effort where you would usually tab out or go into the menus to change the volume. I also find that it is a lot better to use than volume control buttons that you may have on your keyboard as you can find that perfect sweet spot for the volume.
+ Easy to set up – There are no drivers involved, just plug in the speakers to the sub-woofer, plug the sub-woofer into the power and plug the jack into your device. It took me very little time to get them up and running.
– Wires to speakers aren’t quite long enough – Because of the way my computer is set up, I have to have the sub-woofer to one side rather than in the middle as it is shown in the pictures. As the speaker set is set up in this way, it is a bit of a stretch to get the wire from the furthest speaker to the sub-woofer, although if you are gonna have the sub-woofer in the middle then it shouldn’t be a problem at all.
To summarise, this speaker set is of the great quality that you would expect from a big company like Logitech and at a very affordable price as well. The 2 year warranty is also great for your peace of mind as getting 2 years worth of usage out of a set of speakers this cheap is very impressive. I would recommend these to gamers and anyone who enjoys listening to music.
The sound is totally fine. Like other reviewers have said, the wires aren’t particularly long, but then again if they’re for a desk, they don’t need to be. I have a small desk so the subwoofer is on the floor and the two side speakers are on a shelf above my desk – everything reaches fine. The control pod is super useful – except the volume dial isn’t particularly sensitive. It’s good for quickly turning the volume down, but increasing my computer’s volume is much more productive than turning the knob. On a similar topic, the subwoofer’s bass dial is also just okay.
Overall, I’m really happy with what I paid for – they’re solid, highly functional and aesthetic to boot. The main issue I have is that it seems to enter a ‘standby’ mode after about 5-6 hours. Not sure why – no feature like it is mentioned in the user manual. I work long hours and relax at my desk afterwards, and often play some kind of music throughout – I usually have to flip the on/off switch 3 to 4 times in a day, even though music is constantly running. It gets tedious to have to do so, but it’s not unmanageable. However, if using them for long sessions isn’t really what you’re up for, or if you don’t mind flipping the switch once or twice during use, then I’d really recommend them.
