This is great if you have a small car boot. Was unable to fit my daughter’s pram in my car, so purchased this for when my daughter comes over with my granddaughter.
Compact easy to open and close. Very light and even when we hang changing bag on the handle the pushchair doesn’t tip.
Not sure what the second smaller basket can be used for but might be able to use once my granddaughter is older and not laying flat.
Highly recommend as an occasional pushchai
Very easy to fold, open and is compact. Bear in mind it isn’t within cabin dimensions, but it’s great for an on-the-go buggy. I actually prefer it to our more robust iCandy.
Bought this to take my 3 month old baby abroad. It lays flat so suitable from birth. It has a large canopy for shade. Easy to put up and down (one handed) and has two baskets which are handy. I purchased the car seat adapters too which are great to attach the car seat if you’re just nipping out of the car.
I have been searching for a compact stroller that is suitable for my tall 2 year old daughter, and this stroller is perfect. The stroller is sturdy unlike others we looked at and is very comfortable for my daughter. Very impressed with how compact the stroller folds, and how easy it is to fold in the click of a button. Overall, would recommend to anyone looking for a lightweight compact stroller.
Reading reviews of this travel buggy I wasn’t sure if I’d made the right choice. After using it for a weekend away in Edinburgh I can confirm it is fit for the purpose I bought it for – city breaks. Perhaps not the best on cobble stones but overall I was impressed with how smooth it was.
The brake location is a little annoying but saying that I only accidentally pressed it while walking a total of probably 6 times in a full weekend. After all you are activating it and coming to a stop and not causing a safety issue of a runaway buggy which was what I was concerned about.
It was raining on our trip so we did use the rain cover. Again there were complaints about this in other reviews. It comes to the end of the hood and down over the front of the buggy sheltering the child. I wouldn’t use it in strong winds but it worked perfectly for the drizzle and downpours we had. The hood is also waterproof and water beads up on it which previous reviewers may not have been aware of. For this reason I won’t be purchasing another rain cover for it as I think the one that came with it will work to keep the baby dry in the conditions you’re realistically going to be outside in.
The baskets were more than big enough to carry a nappy bag, waterproof covers/umbrella and a baby carrier. I’m not sure what else people need to drag around in a travel buggy but I rather keep it light (especially in Edinburgh with all its hills!)
Overall, I was impressed! The baby slept in it multiple times. It was easy to use and adjust. My husband even figured it out without me having to show him how! Good value (especially when on sale and you use your baby wishlist discount) and a great option for those looking for something to use on city breaks.
I am very happy with the Maxi-Cosi Lara2 Pushchair. It arrived quickly and was well packaged.
It’s very lightweight and easy to carry around, which makes it ideal for trips and daily use. You can close it very easily, and it’s handy to transport, especially if you’re taking taxis. It doesn’t take up much space, which is a big plus.
I traveled with my girl when she was 4 and a half months old, and it worked perfectly. It’s perfect for babies under 6 months.
The only downside is that it doesn’t fit in the airplane overhead compartment/carry-on as it’s slightly too big for ryanair. However, this minor inconvenience is overshadowed by its overall practicality and ease of use.
The bottom part of the pram is not too big but I was able to fit 2 adults jumpers, few toys, sunscreen, water bottle and a 3 towels.
Highly recommend it for parents looking for a compact and efficient stroller!
We purchased this specifically for going to Disneyland, as we wanted something that took up minimal space in our car but didn’t cost a fortune. After tons of research, I decided on this and it was a great choice for my nearly 5 year old who weights 15.5kg. It opens and closes beautifully and easily. It’s stable (so long as your little one doesn’t lean heavily forward but we had no issues). It folds smaller than any pram I could find that was under 200/250, whilst taking my daughter’s weight, and my daughter finds it comfortable. I had no issues with manoeuvrability. Definitely recommend.
The buggy is easy to manoeuvre and folds to a really good size. It looks really well and the different lying positions are good. We only use this infrequently but unfortunately after only light use for a fee months, the clasp to hold the buggy together when folded has bent upwards and as a result the buggy wasn’t staying together when folded. I have managed to bend it back with a hairdryer, but you would expect better quality as it wasn’t exactly cheap! Not sure it’ll last very well as a result of this, but time will tell.
I brought a occarro pushchair, however I soon regretted that as it was far too big for the car. I have a dog crate in the boot so I don’t have much room for a pushchair but this pushchair is perfect for the space and my daughter can either lie back or sit up. So practical.
Recently got back from a week abroad where we used this as our solo pram. It does fold down & go back up very easily & with one hand which is nice. However once folded down there’s just a plastic clip on the side which isn’t great & comes loose easily. There is a lie flat position which is good for sleeping & the back also has a strap on the back which has a fair bit of adjustability. I like the the look of it & the light weight very easy to carry & push about. The wheel can be a bit small especially if trying to push on grass etc, but overall I think it’s a good holiday pram for the money. But I would buy a strap to keep it all closed, or a bag especially if it has to go in the plane hold
We bought this stroller in addition to our big Nuna stroller.
The purpose of this was for quick trips and taking onto public transport because of its compact size.
Easy to fold, storage not great.
To our surprise, which we didn’t know. We were able to carry this stroller onto the plane and fit into the overhead storage.
BUT! On smaller planes, it won’t fit though. I was told the YoYo stroller will fit on all aircraft’s.
Love this stroller. Bought it to go on holidays and it was perfect. Used it in airport and it easily fitted in the over head bin on an aer Lingus flight. Used it to go around the city was easy manoeuvre and my little one slept comfortable in it.
Bought as a second travel buggy and did not want to spend big bucks on the top rated foldable ones. For the price, it’s brilliant. It’s lightweight, manoeuvres well enough and folds up small to fit in the overhead compartment with a handy strap for carrying and 2 handy baskets. What’s more, we were able to use it for both our 6mo (lies flat) and 3yo (when too tired to walk long distances) whilst on holiday.
It’s not exactly a one hand fold though as you need to fold the baby bar up with both hands, but this detaches so can be left out for a truly one handed fold.
The rain cover is ordinary, but again, for a secondary stroller, serves its purpose. If on the taller side, there’s also a tendency to trip and set the brakes while walking. But overall, great for the price.
I bought this as my little one is now walking and the other stroller we had was too big (icklebubba stomp 3). He doesn’t want to spend long in the buggy and travelling on public transport with the other stroller was really difficult.
Since buying this buggy travelling has been so much easier both with public transport and putting it in the car. You can basically close this one down one handed which is excellent and it’s super lightweight.
Pros:
Lightweight
Sturdy
Compact
Cons:
Bottom basket is a little small
Break pad juts out, so I kick and activate it by accident a lot
Rain cover isn’t the bes
I love this buggy! It’s the perfect size for flying as it can be folded and put into overhead storage. It’s lightweight as well and can be slung over the shoulder. Perfect for any toddle
We bought this buggy for our 22-month-old to replace our original travel/nursery transport, which had been an umbrella fold. The two main benefits are it folds up so easily and is very small when folded so is easy to store on a plane, car boot, even in the hallway. It dramatically reduced in size compared to the 2 other buggies we’ve used (we have a larger travel system Joie which suits better for shopping and is more sturdy). I can also easily lift it up and down stairs at train stations, etc. while my son is in it which is a huge draw. The recline is ok, not as easy to use when your child is leaning on it, but it’s tolerable. In terms of negatives, while the two baskets underneath is handy, they are pretty shallow and close together so you couldn’t do a significant shopping trip with any bulky items as you’d struggle to fit them in underneath. Also the buggy is so lightweight and not very deep as quite upright, you can’t hang off any bags, etc, off the handlebar, as would topple and just slip off anyway given the style of handlebar. The only other downside is the rain cover isn’t great – it starts on the edge of the canopy so the canopy can get wet. Also my son is quite tall for his age (but would still be shorter than the age range of what this is designed to cater to) so the rain cover isn’t quite long enough at the bottom either (although this is a common issue I’ve found with buggies a lot). In general though, I think with any pushchair they’ve always going to be some compromise somewhere as different styles fit different circumstances of use and we’re generally pretty happy with it. Would recommend for travelling – day trips or flying abroad, but not one for a shopping trip.
So easy to collapse and store, there’s also a strap you can unzip to carry it around. Really like the different recline positions and the ability to peek through the sun cover to keep an eye on your child while pushing them. Only negative is the position of the brake – easy to accidentally turn it on while walking. If they just inversed it so you pushed it towards you to release and up to brake then it wouldn’t happen.
The pushchair is very light and robust. The baby stays safely seated and very comfortable as well. Really good product and will make our travels a lot easier.
I wouldn’t say its perfect for a day to day use, but for travels absolutely great.
Very nice and easy to use and fast
The belt is little bit tight and could not extension it more
.also Missing shoulder strap as I vant carry it as decribed
This is a very good compact pushchair. East to fold and carry with carry on strap.
Only downside for me is when you are walking fast and if you are tall then you catch the brake a lot which is annoying. Maybe if they had extendable handles or the brake bit more on the side that would be good.
But otherwise really good pushchair.
Very happy with it folds super small 50 by 50 by 30 will fit in my boot next to my dogs no problem, bought the adapters that work with my cabrio baby car seat so can use from birth the wheels are quite small so I’m not sure il be going cross country with it I’d love if there were bigger wheels I could purchase for i
I’ve waited until after returning from holiday to post a review, as it was for this that I primarily bought this stroller for.
This is a great buy and worth the money. It worked really well when travelling on a plane. It fits in the overhead locker (on a Jet2 flight) and is easy to fold up and down. I love the 2 baskets it has- the top one is concealed enough to keep valuables in there and I can fit the baby bag in the bottom too. It lies right back and it can sit right up. My daughter was very comfortable in it.
The rain cover could be better though and a strap to carry it would be useful too, but overall I’m so pleased I got this stroller.
I bought this because I was fed up our big buggy taking too much room in the car. This is superb. Folds up neatly and is a great space saver. The pram itself is easy to use and has everything you’d expect. Excellent.
I needed a buggy for my 3 year old for when we go on holiday and it’s long walks and hot and so I thought better than hold her this is ideal.
This buggy is awesome! Up to 22kg. I removed the buckles and tucked the connector in and just used the bar she loves it. She sits back relaxed the bar is there for her to hold and the sun visor covers almost totally of wanted.
Literally push the button to the left then pull inwards with the button underneath the handle after that not together and the whole thing collapses into a giant handbag haha! There is a zip at the back bottom basket and you can get the handle out and carry it.
Make sure you move the lever on the side that holds it in place when it’s down to reassemble but love it.
The wheels make it excellent to steer too. Light as a feather spinning all over “with a 3 year old”
Can’t fault this stroller in anyway classy colour, well made and nice soft padded handle
It weighs so little it’s great for travelling and fits overhead in airline cabin storage. One click and it’s literally so small
You get what you pay for! Don’t buy cheap and pay twice is my motto
I bought this buggy for a trip abroad. Delighted with it, its so easy to fold and unfold. Takes up very little space. Lots of space in the basket underneath. Love it so much I’m going to get rid of my old heavier, bulkier travel system and use this instead.
I needed something that was lightweight and compact, as my car boot isn’t the biggest. Honestly love this pram and wish I bought this instead of my overly expansive one. Since buying it we’ve taken it everywhere including on trains and we’re easily able to stow it in the luggage compartments.
Best little compact push chair, this is my 3rd push chair purchase and by far the best. It’s sturdy yet lightweight…will fit my nearly 3 year old for ages. Needed something good for a summer holiday abroad and this meets my expectations perfectly. Big hood, dark, good for a nap, lie flat option with good foot rest option. Really nicely made.
Not the cheapest but not the most expensive either.. I’m sure we’ll get plenty of use and I get half my boot space back! Yey!
Bought this to take away on holidays or weekends to save on boot space. We love it! Easy to put together, just needed to add the wheels. The seat has two positions which is upright or flat. My 6 month old was very happy in and slept no bother.
The hood is really big and has a an extendable bit to make it bigger which was great.
Was so easy to control with one hand which was great. No it’s not as sturdy as a more expensive pushchair but then it wouldn’t be for the price. I would def recommend this and it will get a lot of use in our house.
My Cosato Pram would take 80% of my car boots and was really heavy, massive in size and hard to carry around for travelling.
Maxi Cosi Lara 2 is really light, can fold and unfold with one hand and would only take 25% of my car boot space. Very compact and easy to use.
In shopping malls, lifts were always busy and would have to wait a long time for us to get in and now i can literally fold the pram with one hand and hold my kid on my arm and go down the stairs instead of waiting for lift lol. Defo made my life easy as a dad.
We bought this to have a compact stroller in addition to our bigger bugaboo bee 5. For air travel, we were able to take it in the cabin on 4 flights without an issue. This is relatively light and very compact, but being compact means you don’t have much storage. Handles are very comfy but they soak water in them and can be easily damaged due to foamy structure. Brake mechanism should have work opposite way to avoid accidental stops. Colour is more dark/navy blue instead of graphite, not sure who put that colour name on the product. Overall recommended.
Bought this pram as have a 12 week old and expecting to do quite a bit of travelling in the next few months (with our large dog) and my current pram takes up the entire boot space.
Pros:
– Folds down to a great size.
– easy to fold and unfold one handed.
– Able to use from birth.
– Little peep flap in the sun-hood to check on your little one.
Cons:
– Poor Raincover. Comes with Raincover but this only attaches to the front aspect of the pram to cover your child. In a heavy downpour the hood will become saturated and anything stored under the pram in the shopping baskets will get wet! If you are using the lie flat function for under 6months child, the pram will get wet on the sides and potentially wet the head rest. Shame it doesn’t come with a full Raincover to cover the whole hood and rear of the pram too.
– Shopping baskets. They are very small. Unable to get my change bag underneath so I carry it on my back. Not much can fit in the top basket. I only use it for the Raincover and car seat adapters.
– Straps. Shoulder straps are difficult/fiddley to adjust to the rear of the pram.
Overall it’s a great pram and would highly recommend.
