Produit de qualit et fait bien ce pour quoi on l’achte.
Le produit m’a bien t livre dans les temps.
It’s exactly what it says it is and it works well! It magnets on and off quickly and easily and while there is still a tiny bit of light bleed around your nose it’s not a big deal. That being said it’s kinda shady this wasn’t already included with high cost of the Pro when the magnetic side blinders were but here we are. It works and I can’t deny it really improves the experience.
I recently purchased the Meta Quest Pro VR Earphones for my Oculus Quest 2 headset and overall, I would rate them a 4 out of 5 stars. The sound quality is decent and it provides a decent audio experience for VR gaming.
However, there are a few issues that prevent me from giving these earphones a higher rating. Firstly, they tend to slip out of my ears, which can be frustrating during intense gaming sessions. Secondly, I found them to be slightly uncomfortable after prolonged use, which can be a problem for some users. Lastly, I wish there was more bass in the sound, as it feels a bit lacking at times.
In conclusion, the Meta Quest Pro VR Earphones are a decent choice for those looking for an affordable VR audio solution. While they have some flaws, they offer decent sound quality and are a solid option for VR gaming.
I love this headset, in everyday it is so much better than the Quest 2. Anyone on the fence now the proice has dropped. Its well worth it!
The charger that came with my headset was unreliable crap. This what meta should of sent with the head set.
Actually works pretty well and blocks out most of the light (leaks a little around the nose). Knocked off one star because it should have come with the Quest Pro or at least been much cheaper. Your face does get warmer but that’s to be expected. There’s also a faint rubber smell but that will probably wear off over time.
This is the best standalone VR Headset ever. Playing games is fantastic.
Works well blocks the light snaps in magnetically stays in place . Works as advertised
Great for using with the Meta Quest Pro – more immersive than the speakers by far and the sound quality is great.
The individual cables are a godsend, preventing any distracting cables being draped round your neck. I manage to leave them attached when I put the headset down on it’s dock and they haven’t interfered with it yet.
The only downside of these is that it feels like yet another accessory that should have been included in the box already with the very expensive headset.
Price – It does cost a bit, but when you put it in perspective, it’s priced about right;
G2 Omnicept 1250,
Varjo Aero ~3000 (Including base stations, controllers, headphones, Import tax)
HTC Focus 3 1300
HTC Vive Pro 2 Kit 1300
Valve Index Kit 919
Most of the above are not standalone, and some don’t have eye tracking and all the other sensors like the Quest Pro has.
Resolution – This is where there is a lot of misconception!
Quest 2 use a single panel, Quest Pro uses two panels that move with the lens stack, so you get MORE visible pixels, which increases the Pixels per degree, giving you better image quailty, and superb clarity, so overall you get a higher visible resolution.
Lenses – This is truly next gen VR, edge to edge clarity, no god rays. being able to look any direction with your eyes and have clear clarity is something Fresnel lenses can’t do.
These are the best Lenese on any HMD right now.
SDE – If you look for it, you can see it, more so on white back grounds. but this is nothing like the Rift S, Valve Index. Fresnel lenses did a good job hiding it with the Quest 2, but with the clarity of the Pancake lenses, it has made it more pronounced. That said, playing PCVR games, you won’t notice it.
PCVR – I’ve owned many headsets over the years from the CV1, Samsung, Revrb G1, G2 v1, Quest 2, Pico 4.
I have to say, out of all those HMD’s, the Quest Pro is a massive step up in clarity. Even people with HTC Vive Pro 2 and Focus 3 and Varjo Aero have came forward in a forum I use, and have stated how resolution is not everything, and how they are blown away with the clarity of the Quest pro. It is truly awesome, especally when we crank the settings up.
Turning the render resolution up to 1.7x, using Oculus Debug Tool, and setting encode width to 3616, and bit rate to 500Mbps, really makes the Quest Pro shine by hiding compression, and giving objects in the distance a sharper clarity, making it easier to read marker boards in the likes of sim racing etc.
Now as I own a 4090, these setting are playable at 90FPS and high settings in the likes of DCS. ACC Epic VR, which just look incredible!
MSFS Ultra settings plus 1.7x render resolution plays at a solid 45FPS with ASW, and is also incredible how that looks and feels.
Controllers – Well lets just make it clear, as good as the CV1 Touch controllers, and Valve Index controllers at tracking, with a premium feel and great haptics.
Comfort – Is hit and miss depending on your head shape. It is well balanced, and fits my head nicely.
FOV – I have a IPD of 67mm using the FOV app, I see 104 degrees, push my eyes closer, and I get 106.
Conclusion – After many hours with this HMD, I am keeping it as my go to PCVR HMD, it truly is a next gen experience.
I have Videos through the lenses of the Quest Pro with on my YouTube Channel playing PCVR maxed settings, with a 4090, just search user TG Pips.
I bought this mainly to play games (they say it is not primary for games) and boy does it enhance the experience. The new pancake lenses are so much clearer and things look so much more vivid. Red Matter 2 is the only game that developers have took full advantage of all the Pro’s features like eye tracking, and boy this game blows you away. Hopefully if sales of the Pro grow more games like that will appear in the store, but even games like Iron Man look better on the Pro as you don’t seem to have the small sweet spot of the Fresnel lenses of the Quest 2.
Also the controllers are a major improvement they have a processor and three camera’s in each one so they self track the headset does not need to see them. They wont lose tracking even behind your back makes playing shooting games and games like Beat Sabre so much better.
I thought the open design of the headset would annoy me and put me off and I would need to get the option extra full face blocker.
Surprisingly my brain focuses on the screen and I feel full immersed. The fact that the head set is open means it doesn’t get too hot on your face, and suffer from the lens fogging issues of the Quest 2.
So overall I am very pleased with my purchase can’t see me using my Quest 2 again as once you have used the Pro you are spoilt. Is it perfect no, but I am sure as with the Quest with software updates it will become even better over time.
The cost is the thing that has everyone talking yes it is very expensive but I don’t regret my purchase
The ability to work on 3 customisable monitors on the go is alone worth the price.
When I first looked at the reviews on You tube at first I thought they were looking at this device in the wrong way..
I was very cautious about getting this device because of those reviews which I think are very negative by people that don’t know what they are talking about .
This device is brilliant .
Picture quality is amazing and the fit is really comfy compared to the quest 2
The optics are so good that is such an improvement and with the combination of a better fit that’s it’s a no brainier to get .
I am so pleased I got this and even with the 1499 price tag I still think it is worth it .
I think it may be a case that the first reviews were written by people on You tube have a very negative attitude . I know it’s good to critique a new product but it’s best to say nothing if it’s not constructive.
I would agree the AR side of things are a work in progress and it’s a new thing But this device was only reviewed mainly because it was marketed as an AR device .and I think the first reviews on You tube were a bit negative on that
But as a VR Device it’s brilliant for gamers and normal VR contents . I’m so impressed that I had to write a review that I don’t normally do .
I’m a prime example – not “verified”. However, the headset is great but it’s early days. This is a neich, quality tool. If you’re looking for an exceptional HMD then look no further. I don’t own it but I’ve tried it.
If you’re just wondering about Meta:
VR is still in it’s infancy. VR is where smartphones were 15 years ago. However, as with smartphones, a colossal paradigm shift is coming, no matter what you or anyone else believes. VR is the next technological leap.
Unfortunately, as with so many life-altering technologies, there’s been a rough road to VR due to it’s very nature – VR can’t easily be advertised or explained – just as you can’t explain love or drugs, you have to dive in for yourself which has made the sale of VR extremely difficult (I also think early smartphone VR was a mistake as it wasn’t true VR and put millions off).
Meta laying off staff is to financially justify the VR move to investors/shareholders who were upset due to their own lack of vision and greed – it’s not as though Meta couldn’t afford VR – sadly, unlike Elon, Zucks passion doesn’t translate into his sales skills…
Whatever you think of Zuck, even in the extremely unlikely event Meta were to go under, his passion for VR will be a similar trigger as Jobs was to the catapulting smartphones to the mainstream or Ford to the automobile. Jobs & Ford weren’t first but they were major catalysts in pushing the industry to the mainstream.
Meta isn’t going under – they’re colossal – & they’re too invested to bail. & remember, Facebook & Instagram took years to take off. The Metaverse & alike have been here 2 seconds in comparison.
Fans of VR (& tech) already know VR is the next step. When it finally reaches smartphone levels of necessity it will be down to investment, adoption of the hardware and the creative minds behind apps. All three need to align before things truly take off.
The personal computer and the Internet itself should have been popular a good while before they eventually broke into the norm. Unfortunately, as ever, lack of insight and foresight can kill innovation that was always going to make its way into the hands of everyone eventually.
If Mets go under then someone, likely Apple, will pick up the torch moments later. Gawd, remember how near pointless the first iPhone was until apps/software caught up with the tech – it didn’t take long. How long did you ignore smartphones, Facebook, Instagram or Netflix prior to joining. Who hear once said or knew of someone who claimed the Internet & computers were pointless & a nightmare.
VR, not Meta, will change everything. Meta is another necessary step on the road to a world in which freedom will be totally unlocked be it creatively or simply experiencing whatever whenever. Facebook and social media in general were becoming stagnant. There was always going to be a change-up and it was always going to be via VR. Meta going unter just slows things. And, it won’t make your Meta Pro worthless. It’ll continue to function with other software just as SAAB’s continue to function on fuel & roads without the manufacturer existing.
All that said, I seriously doubt Meta is going bust any time soon.
Was using two IR lights at night to create a totally dark room for 3d movie immersion. Just tried these out and they are really really comfortable and now let the claustrophobic immersion begin. The full light blocker are sold out everywhere and backordered until Dec 15th.
Way more comfortable than quest 2. Glasses friendly was the main selling point for me to get them. Price wise is only reason why I can’t gave it a five star.
Not very comfortable, bad fit in ears. Expected better from Meta!
I moved from Logitech’s G333 VR earbuds to the official Quest Pro earphones — and that was a *massive* upgrade. Cable management is easier, and sound quality is much superior (well-balanced and clear). These are also more comfortable than Logitech’s earbuds. In short, the Quest Pro earphones are awesome!
Having owned the meta quest pro for a couple of weeks it’s now my go to vr headset for gaming on both the pc and stand-alone. I’ve been passionate about vr since the psvr1, before the pro my best vr headset was the valve index which even now is a great choice for gamers. My worst headset without doubt was the pimax oled with possibly the most unreliable software to accompany the product.
For me the pro really delivers with visuals both in terms of colour and definition, swapping between games on the quest 2 it’s image and colours feel muted compared to the pro. This is also the same for pcvr, my eyes don’t feel so tired after a couple of hours gaming like they did on the valve index and quest 2, so for me that small step up in image quality has made a big difference.
Also I should mention the controllers are possibly the very best on the market and are the star of the package.
It’s not worth 1500 but it is a damn good vr headset.
J.
Please ignore the somewhat snobbish comment regarding this little beauty not to be bought for games.
Firstly, yes it’s not aimed at gamers because its core focus is for business. However, this is actually BETTER for gaming due to the body and facial tracking elements as well as better specs overall. I won’t go into everything here because google is your friend but I suggest watching a few youtube vids first and focus your search towards what you want this device for. It can be for business, community, industry or gaming all in one.
Secondly, price is hefty but it IS worth it when you consider the overall tech, upgrades and changes that have gone into it.
It looks smarter, sleeker and more premium than its predecessors. The charging dock for both headset and controls completes a stunning overall package.
Buy it for what you want it for, not what somebody tells you it should be for.
But at a cost!
A lot has been made around the AR capabilities of this new quest headset but it’s main use will still probably be regular VR gaming. I think this may change as its capabilities are embraced by developers focussed on more work based use.
In the meantime Meta CTO Andrew Bosworth hasn’t been shy about pointing out the gaming potential. “If you like gaming and if you have the money there is no question that the Quest Pro is in fact the best thing out there”. Despite this claim the open design can prove distracting, supplied blinkers help but serious gamers will probably end up buying the full light blocker. At 50 they are not cheap but they work really well, better than anything I’ve experienced with the Quest 2.
Everything about it says quality, it feels well made and is definitely easy on the eye.
First impressions are good, the lenses are a vast improvement, so much clearer throughout and the improved variety of IPD settings makes a big difference, in my opinion. The audio sounds a little richer and the new controllers are super responsive and hold a charge for quite a few hours, they certainly wouldn’t need charging during any days use. While on the subject of charging in my experience, when using this headset for standard gaming without face detection etc, the battery time is roughly equivalent to the quest 2, perhaps slightly better.
It’s not perfect, I’m yet to be fully convinced it’s changed design is more comfortable than a Quest 2 with a Bobo halo strap or an Quest Elite strap. The weight, which is slightly more than the Quest 2, sits on the forehead and although somewhat balanced by the battery at the back can prove uncomfortable for some people. It seems you have to find the sweet spot and in my case the addition of a central headstrap did the trick.
There aren’t many third party accessories right now and I can’t see any grips made for the controllers being able to be charged while fitted. The Quest itself and the controllers need to be exactly place on the supplied charging pad to work. I’ve bought some great Destek knuckle straps but they have to be partially removed to charge the controllers.
The new design accommodates glasses very well but It can be a tight fit when using the side blinkers. There are a few prescription lenses available. I’ve seen VRoptician and Reloptix are now taking orders.
In summary I think it’s a five star product but although many claim it’s very comfortable I think third party additional headstraps will be bought by quite a few. I’ve used it for gaming with and without full light blocking. After a while you get used to the included partial light blocking and it’s nice to be able to glance down to read a text etc. If you do try the Quest Pro going back to the old Quest 2 Fresnel lenses will be disappointing.
FOR FUTURE BUYERS; THIS IS A BUSINESS FOCUSED HEADSET UNLIKE THE QUEST 2. DO NOT BUY FOR VIDEO GAMES.
