I was about to cancel this purchase because of the comment of a random guy who said that the game had no save point and when he died had to start from the beginning, like Hades. Totally false, the game has points to save and goes very well on the Switch, the music is great and the story too. Very good game so far. I do not regret this purchase

I have played and own this game on several devices, playstation 4, PC and now the Switch, the reason why I wanted it on the switch is portability. As someone who played it on other formats, my views of this game running on the switch is, i am shocked, how incredible is it to have this game running on this. Granted I am only around 2.5hours in, not met too many large bosses, but the ones I have encountered has ran seamlessly in handheld mode, no criticism at all, if anything I just have loads of praise for this game. Considering the console was released in 2017 and Nier was released on the same year on powerful consoles. This is incredible, it did take them 5 years to make it work, but at least it eventually came and at a great price too.
Never played this game? Omg what you waiting for? Get it and experience something different, trust me you will be blown away. Totally recommended.

This game is brilliant. It can get really difficult but it’s brilliant. If you’re a fan of open-world hack and slash games then this is for you. Also runs really well on Switch.
This port blew me away, looks & plays amazing. Great open world story . Price is right .
Bought on the recommendation of a friend. All in all a brilliant open world game that has an amazing storyline. However for those unaware, until you defeat the first “boss” you are essentially learning how the gameplay works, so every time you die you go straight back to the start as there is no saving until after this. This is also where the open world will be open to you.
Overall a very good game and concept.
I can’t believe this beloved game is now available on the go! The game runs buttery smooth and even has the dlc.
It is astounding that this runs as well as it does on the switch.
The gameplay is excellent, the story is moving and profound.
Replayability is also a key factor in this game and because its so engaging I happily went through it multiple times.
It is as advertised. It’s new. It looks new, feels new, even smells new. You get what is advertised and I love it.
his port on to Switch impressed me greatly, of course the graphics are not as good as the PlayStation, but the fact this game is portable is amazing and still runs very nicely on Switch, it did crash on me a couple of times but still a Fantastic port.

There are 26(!!) endings, with 3 main ones. So multiple play-throughs is encouraged. But there is no encouragement needed. You’ll want to continue on, once you complete the first run.
A really good game from Platinum and Square Enix.
And the Nintendo Switch version holds up REALLY well. Honestly, if any reservation you have amounts to “but will the switch version run well enough?”, you have nothing to worry about.

The game is absolutely amazing and it has a very good storyline. I use to own it on the PS4 and now i must own it on the Nintendo Switch. This game will not disappoint and is definitely worth every penny.
From a technical standpoint there are some fancy graphical effects removed because of the limitations of the Switch hardware. I think one thing the game really does need and I hope its patched in is motion blur. If you’re playing action games at 30fps it really is something that would add to the experience as it would make it run/look smoother.
However for the majority of the time the game does run at a locked 30fps and only dips to low 20s during the more busy sections of the game. These sections however are few and far between and are notable when playing on the PS4 version too. You may notice the same ‘blips’ where the frame rate drops ever so slightly randomly while moving through a certain section of the game world but these too existed on the PS4 and were so incredibly minor.
This is probably one of the best ports released on the Switch to date make no mistake. You’re getting a mostly 30fps experience for a game that was very demanding on the PS4 with very few notable sacrifices. I think those with an OLED Switch will have a great time as the game really does shine on the OLED screen.
AMAZON DELIVERY: Once I pre-ordered it, it showed that the game would be delivered one day AFTER its release, which made no sense as I bought several games from Amazon and always got delivery the same day as the release. The surprise was that I received the same day that was released, even though that the amazon app took hours to update it.
