Never used one of these before – but was interested in it for cleaning our activity watches and glasses.
Well – the hubby works with sand – and his watch gets gross. One of the buttons had stopped working, we think due to sand/grit getting into it. So he couldn’t log his activity on the watch.
So with nothing to lose I decided to put his watch on a 5 minute clean.
It came up well, but was still grubby so did a further 10 minute clean.
Well, would you believe it – the button that hasn’t worked for months no works. And the watch has come up really well to say it was engrained with dirt and sand and sweat.
Done my daughters glasses and they come up sparkling. And she’s been doing her make up brushes weekly.
I was dubious about this – but I highly rate it. and saved the husband a fortune as he doesn’t need to buy a new watch now.
Got this to try to clean my jewellery.
It was so easy to operate the system. I just filled the tank up to the maximum mark and close the lid. After I turned it on and put 10 minutes for my jewellery. When I saw my jewellery after cleaning it was like a new one. So happy to see the results.
The size is portable I put it on my dressing table cupboard after use. Lightweight and useful making it worth buying it.

This was surprisingly easy to use. The instructions were good and it was quick to get it up and running.
I was very curious as to how effective it was and it will depend on what you are trying to clean.
We tried glasses, jewellery and copper pipe. My husband was hoping it might clean his copper pipe parts for him but it wasn’t effective on that. However the jewellery came up lovely and the glasses nice and clean, I can see again.
It’s quiet and quick to work and it was fun to watch the dirt particles come away from the item in front of your eyes.
Now some units they say not to use hot water, well this bad boy doesn’t mind it, I put just over luke warm water in it with 3 cap fulls of the recommended Octopus powerful ultrasonic cleaner, and ran the 10 minute program. The results were pretty good, I was so impressed, I put more jewellery in it and ran it again, the results were more impressive.
Now I hear you ask, is it noisy?, heck no, my kettle boiling makes more noise. Imagine, your mobile phone on low vibrate, sitting on a rubber mate… Yes! this unit sits on rubber feet. So, for 60 squid, bargain. Try one yourself, you can always get your money back. Hope this review helps…
I mainly use these for cleaning car parts from my MG, this one isn’t the largest of baskets so instead I used my wife’s silver necklace.
Used a bit of cleaning polish to start with them put it in the cleaner and it came out quite good, still needed a little rub down but it came out nicely.
Instructions are useful with different timings for items.
I tried this 800ml ultrasonic cleaner on a dental bite and toothbrush. I placed both items directly into the unit, added water and switched it on. The three minute clean is the all purpose clean but you can increase thr cleaning modes to suit other items like jewellery and coins and glasses etc. It makes a slight hissing noise but nothing that would bother you. The water does become warm too but not hot. It is a great way of cleaning different items with minimal effort. There is a basket and curved riser in the box. The only downside is having to tip the whole unit to empty it after use. You can’t lift the metal basket out so you need to unplug it and carefully pour the water away.
This is amazing device, it can clean jewellery, spectacles or reading glasses and a host of other items.

I have used ultrasonic cleaners before but this one seemed to be more effective. I tested it with just warm water and on the video you can see dirt coming out from the links of my watch strap and this looked clean when I put it in.
The unit itself has a quality feel and benefits from the removable power lead which you can storing side the unit.

I’ve given this ultrasonic cleaner a good range of tests, with different items. As my video shows, using it on a can opener created a fizzing effect as soon as it was turned on. It cleaned in the can opener, yet the outer greasy bit remained covered.
I’ve tested on a religious coin and it came up shiny. A 2 pence piece, however, didn’t change what-so-ever.
This is simple to use. The display settings are a little confusing as each setting doesn’t appear to do anything different, so there’s no logic to the ordering or the little sun icons. Nothing suggests it does anything different beyond the sonic element.
This is simple to operate, however. The basket is handy as well as the watch holder to wash a strap without removing.
I’ll be using this for anything I feel it could clean as it does make it easy and certainly works on some items. Putting your fingers in whilst operating, it does warm a little and you can feel the ultrasonic vibrations.

This is well worth the investment if you have a bit of a jewellery collection of either rings or watches; you really don’t need to over use it either – one wash will be all it needs.
I tried this on my wedding ring and at first I didnt think it was doing anything. It turns out my ring wasn’t very dirty (insert joke here) as I then tried a rusty nail and it started taking the rust off straight away. You can see from the colour of the water afterwards how much it took off.
The plastic holding case can be removed easily and it comes with a watch holder so you can put the strap to clean while keeping the watch dry.

I really don’t know much of these things, but thought I’d give one a go. Chose this one, easy to use, easy to clean.
Main thing, made a very noticeable difference to some of my watches. Well, by some I mean ones I tried.
Actually did make them look like new.
Other things I’ve tried, it seems to have done well with those.
Okay for things like watches, slightly bigger things also.
However, get a bigger build if you wish to clean your car engine or whatever.
As for keeping the lid on? Seems fine with or without.
Nachdem mein vorheriger Ultraschallreiniger nach 6 Jahren den Geist aufgegeben hat, musste eine Neuanschaffung her. Die Entscheidung fiel auf dieses Gert.
Der abnehmbare Tank und die uere Verarbeitung sind sehr positiv anzumerken und waren letztlich meine Kaufentscheidung.
Nachdem ich zuvor ein defektes Gert erhalten habe, was ohne Probleme getauscht wurde, bin ich sehr zufrieden. Reinigungsleistung ist topp. Brillen werden wunderbar sauber.
Bedienung ist sehr gut, vor allem mit dem abnehmbaren Reinigungskorb – so kann man mit dem Reinigungskorb zum Wasser laufen und ihn befllen. Leider fehlt eine Abschaltung – sobald man den Reinigungskorb auf das Gert aufsetzt geht das Gert an. Also entweder zwischen den Benutzungen den Reinigungskorb nicht aufsetzen (z.B. quer darber stellen) oder Stecker ziehen – da fehlt der Ausschalter. Sonst prima.
Das Ultraschall- Reinigungdgert PELCAS kann ich nur weiterempfehlen. reinige hauptschlich meine Lesebrille,da mir Spray immer noch ein kleiner Film auf der Brille war . Vor allem die Brille beschlgt nicht mehr denn du vom kalten ins warme kommst. War eine super Entscheidung.wrde ich jederzeit wieder kaufen .Helga
I wasn’t sure what to expect having never had an ultrasonic cleaner before but I’ve been amazed at how good this one is. I’ve used it on my expensive Phillips shaver head and it’s come up like new. My specs are also now gleaming! I’ve used it on some old coins and they’re also now sparkling. The seller has also been excellent. I’m now on a hunt to find other things to use it on. Would I recommend this to anyone? Yes I certainly would. *****

Knnte etwas tiefer sein ( die Brillen sind ja gerade wieder grer) aber ich hab das Krbchen rausbekommen und es gehen meine groen Brillen hinein.
Schmuck und Uhr ebenfalls schon gereinigt.
Mir kam es definitiv auf die separate abnahme des Wasserbehlters an damit ich nicht immer das ganze Gert rumtragen muss.
Gert ist etwas grer und der Geruschpegel fr mich vllig normal einzustufen.

Das Gert tut, was es soll. Ganz besonders praktisch ist der abnehmbare Wasserbehlter , zwecks Einfllens oder Ausgieens. Ganz bequem einstellbar ist die Dauer und die Intensitt per Knopfdruck. Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Gert und kann es weiter empfehlen!

Ich hatte im Laufe meines Lebens schon etliche Ultraschallreiniger. Meinen Erfahrungen nach, sind Ultraschallreiniger, die eine Reinigungsfrequenz von ber 40 Kilo Hertz angeben und gleichzeitig eine Leistung von ungefhr 50 W haben, alle relativ vergleichbar. Und das trifft auf dieses Gert zu. Es kommt also eher auf die Kleinigkeiten an.
Und da unterscheidet sich dieses Produkt doch deutlich von den sonst auf dem Markt erhltlichen Produkten. Was mir besonders wichtig war, war der abnehmbarer Wassertank. Nichts fand ich nmlich in der Vergangenheit unangenehmer, als Seifenwasser auszugieen, wenn gleichzeitig noch ein Stromkabel an dem Gert hngt und man hinterher irgendwie alles wieder trocken bekommen muss.
Dies ist hier deutlich einfacher. Zum einen fehlt durch den abnehmbaren Wassertank natrlich das Stromkabel beim Wasserausgieen. Andererseits lsst sich der Tank auch relativ gut ausgieen, ohne dass allzu viel Wasser am Tank seitlich hin abluft. Denn eines sollte man wissen, die eigentliche Elektrik, also die Schallerzeugung, sitzt im Inneren des abnehmbaren Wassertanks. Dieser wird aber eben nicht durch ein Stromkabel mit Strom versorgt, sondern durch Kontakte an der Basisstation, auf denen der Tank aufgesetzt wird. Die Basisstation hat selbstverstndlich ein Stromkabel.
Die Auswahl der drei mglichen Leistungsstufen und auch die Zeitvorwahl sind gut erklrt und funktionieren einwandfrei. Das Display ist hervorragend ablesbar.
Die Reinigungswirkung entspricht exakt dem, was ich erwarte und was ich auch von vielen anderen Gerten dieser Leistungsklasse kenne. Hier gibt es also keinerlei berraschungen.
Mitgeliefert werden einige Halterungen und ein Plastikkorb, den man je nach zu reinigendem Gegenstand gebrauchen kann oder natrlich auch nicht. Fr die Brillenreinigung empfehle ich, die Brille direkt ohne irgendwelche weiteren Hilfsmittel in den Wassertank zu legen.
Der einzige Kritikpunkt ist, dass die Marke fr den maximalen Fllstand im Wasserbehlter nur sehr schwer zu erkennen ist. Hier htte man vielleicht eine etwas deutlicher Kennzeichnung whlen sollen.
Als Fazit sehe ich fr mich, dass ich dem Gert fnf Sterne gebe. Es verspricht nichts, was es nicht halten kann. Und die Leistung entspricht dem, was ich erwartet habe und was vergleichbare Produkte ebenfalls liefern. Der etwas hherer Preis ist durch den abnehmbaren Wassertank fr mich gerechtfertigt. Wer also einen guten Ultraschallreiniger, insbesondere fr die Brillenreinigung sucht, kann hier gerne zugreifen.
Haben uns ein besseres Reinigungsergebnis erhofft. Fr Brillen ganz gut, bei Schmuck und Mnzen sollte man nicht zu viel erwarten, auch nicht mit flssigen Reiniger.
ben fatto e semplice da usare tuttavia l’ho usato con orecchni e bracciali con gemme chiaramente la pulizia effettuata dall’orafi un’altra cosa. Ho passato tre volte gli orecchini nel pulitore ma sono dovuta intervenire con un ago per pulire meglio gli interni. Nessun residuo di sporco eliminato visibile nel cestello al termine della pulizia. Che dire, uno strumento che fa una pulizia invisibile. Potrebbe aver pulito e io non me ne rendo conto oppure non pulisce affatto.
Das Gert ist sehr leise. Es ist schn anzusehen und die Handhabung einfach. Besonders gefllt mir der abnehmbare Wasserbehlter. Dadurch ist das Wasser einfllen und ablassen sehr einfach und angenehm. Mit der Reinigung bin ich zufrieden. Ich benutze das Gert weiter.
Positiv auch der abnehmbare Behlter, so ist Wasser tauschen leicht (und das mussten wir fters). Insgesamt ein sehr solides Gert mit einem sehr guten Reinigungseffekt Kaufempfehlung!
