I received exactly what I asked for and I apologize for not finding until later the voucher I had said was not there was indeed there. Please accept my apology.
Bought the 800GB disc version for son, all games worked fine apart from Fortnite – it would cut and shut down when trying to boot it up. I tried resetting it and even installed an internal SSD 1TB. Did not work.
So I sent it to Amazon for repair, they sent it back to Sony and then Sony sent it back to me 2 weeks later.
All in perfect working condition now.

Great delivery was able to delay the delivery to a convenient day and time and still maintain the discount. Console is great much quicker than the Ps4. One point of note, it is considerably larger than the Ps4.
The controller is great, visually looks like something out of star trek. Delivers accuracy and battery life is good.
Always loved my PS4 but the OS on this is so much slicker. Fast and with an extra internal 2gb drive installed, stores a lot of games. PS4 games can be stored on an external HDD as they don’t seem to load any faster whether on internal SSD or the external HDD. All in all, a great improvement on the PS4, I just wish it was a little smaller.
PS5 arrived next day, signed for. Set up was easy, but I’m no novice to PlayStation. Console has worked as intended so far, and runs a lot quicker than my PS4 Pro. Only downside was waiting for my games to download!
Bought for Grandchildren to use which they do with annoying easewhilst I still struggle to understand the controller. Beginning to understand how my parents needed me to program the VHS recorder for them!
This is my second console I had in my life, after PS2 many years ago. So far I am very happy with the purchase as it provides very high video quality, the console is extremely quiet, it reads the disks almost instantly, the controller is very comfortable & I enjoy it way more than the Xbox controller, it allows you to watch Blu-Ray disk videos, which means you don’t need to buy a separate Blu-Ray player.
And I must say, with so many AAA game releases now, the PS5 seems like a very important purchase for all gamers. Keeping up with PC’s high specs is very costly in comparison to what quality of video, sound & performance the PS5 offers. For what it represents, the price of the console is very good.
The one thing about the product, that I didn’t realise before buying, is that the game in the set is provided as a PSStore Key, not a physical copy. I personally don’t mind, but wanted to point it out in case you have missed that information as well.
I’ve always been a playstation fan what will say about this console is that it has a controller that is honestly the best pad you’ll ever use haptic feedback and adaptive triggers are a game changer a must for any gamer looking to enter the next gen World
Its great , graphics are great ,speed of downloads much faster than PS4. Not played the game yet so dont know what that is like , but I really like the console.
The USB port charged my IPad without a worry – previously I’ve had the “too many USBs attached” when I plug the controller in on the PS4, so this came as a nice surprise when I tried it out of curiosity.
It’s quiet when running, it has helpful hints and tips and you can make the kiddos their own non-PSN accounts – just remember they can’t use the PSN facilities. Thought I best point out the obvious as you (*I*) might (did) forget. Even so, if you’ve got a hungry Minecrafter on your team, this means as long as you’ve updated it on your profile they can use the same update without the risk of them being online with strangers.
This particular purchase came with God of war – nice little prime day grab.
It’s excellent but to get the most out of the graphics you are going to want a 4K TV- I must own Skyrim on everything (including my Alexa!) and nothing tops the beauty, it is *stunning* in 4K when played on the PS5.
Great for families, brilliant for the lone gamer and cracking for multiplayer games.
My son felt he had to buy the Ps5 as the game he wanted to play you can’t get with the PS4pro.Shame as his PS4 is still in good working order.
Such a difference on loading the games, I found it for a great price on prime day. I just miss having a great TV to really see the difference, so far I will say that I can see a little difference from my ps4 pro, however, I can’t wait to buy a better TV and enjoy the whole power of the PS5. Also, easy to transfer everything from your ps4
Graphics run much smoother on the transfered PS4 games, jurassicworldevolution2 no longer crashes, and some of the PS5 games look so good it’s hard to tell if it’s a game or movie.
The machine runs a whole lot quieter than my previous PS4, so quiet I even left it on for 3 days without realising, and the fan sounds so quiet when it does come on.
Only negatives so far are the price, 500 for console and God of War Ragnarok, after a few years on sale. Also the size, this thing is big, you’ll need a big shelf or unit to set this thing up on if you want to give it some proper breathing space.
I was bring my PS4 back and forth but due to power differences and some stuff not rated I had to carry a bunch of converters, till one night one failed destroying one of my charging umits. I have since then doubled most of my gear up so having a PS5 in both Countries is safer. Great product and way less than buying another gaming computer forsure.
