The track pad stickers may be a bit too thick. It loses contact in some spots and isn’t the smoothest surface. Otherwise, I like the aesthetic and extra grip
the stickers provide.
They feel great ,stick to the deck and fit perfectly. Seen some reviews of them smelling,I don’t have that experience with them.
They work great in helping with grip and stability while using your switch but also aid in keep your device clean from residue or sweat. The materials texture is like a thin rubber and they are very adhesive and easy to apply. Very happy with their performance.

Only thing is the strange smell
My 5 year old is on her 2nd switch already as she dropped her first one so i picked these up to hopefully stop that in the future and so far so good. They’re a bit strange when first on but she seems used to it already and hasn’t dropped this switch so they get a pass from me!
These have made the switch much more comfortable for my daughter to use. She gets hyperhydrosis on her hands so can often only play for short periods. These have helped massively. Easy to fit on and look smart.
These were great grips for a Nintendo switch. They were easy to apply and came in 3 sizes. My son was not only able to put a set on his switch lite, but was also able to put one on his main switch as well. They helped with the holding of the game and are still on after a month, so the stickiness was good and held despite the hours of being handled every day and every week.
I got these to try on an old nintendo switch where the matt case has started to wear after many hours of use.
Can’t fault that they do work and work well. The skin doesn’t feel uncomfortable to hold, but does have a rough texture that takes some getting used to. There is no smell and the adhesive seems to be solid enough. Once placed and pushed down, it stays in place and is difficult to peel off.
Now is the slight issue. The skins cover most of the cover on the controllers. This could present a problem in the future, if you ever take the controllers apart. Given the switch joycons are well known for stick drift, you may have to peel off the stickers to get to the parts inside. This will likely destroy the stickers. But if you have the spares left over, you could always put new ones on.
At the time of writing the skin costs 14. Initially I thought that to be too pricy, but for that you do get three sets of skins that could be used on three different devices. Although most people would probably only want one set, this does give you extras first set goes wrong or starts to peel – or if you do need to get inside the device to make fixes. So far they have stuck fast and stuck well, so I am hopeful these will last a good while before replacing.
You also get some disposable cleaning cloths and a micro cloth for that as well. Dividing that up, the price tag does start to make sense. Giving a 5 stars because I can’t really fault this as a product. It does the job as described and made an old switch look a lot nicer.
Excellent little groups that work surprisingly well, especially for smaller hands, but my husband also says they are very good, and he should know!

It hasn’t really been long since writing my original review but since then the track pad stopped working well. It wouldn’t register mouse movements like it used to and I would get frustrated by the inconsistencies and freezing of movement.
The pad I placed in it hadn’t come off in anyway or got dirty but was definitely affecting the touch capabilities.
I ended up peeling it off and touch started to work like Normal again.
Only reason why I didn’t drop another star in this review is because no residue was left after being on for this long.
I recommend using this product without the track pads if you have any difference in sensitivity from them.
Okay so right off the bat the quality of these feel great.
They are very easy to apply and marked for which side to put them on.
The adhesive isn’t great – It works well if you apply perfectly the 1st time or peel off a small amount to readjust, but doing this a few times will cause it to lose its “stickyness” – It does however leave no residue.
Everything feels much better to play with, just having that texture makes a huge difference and causes no issues with the trackpads or capacitive sensors on the joysticks.
I didnt like the grips on the sides, the pads dont seem to lay that well and leave a slight gap which you can obviously feel while playing. I wont knock the product for this because i use a case and the pads were very easy to cut, so those pads are great to complete the look.
I will however drop a star for the smell. Its terrible and for the 1st week depending on how much you play will make your hands smell too. The smell does eventually go away but it does smell bad that its definitely worth mentioning.
The grip tape is fairly thick and noticiable when holding. The texture is a bit stiffer than other companies (like Razer’s). It also smells quite noticeably, and the glue may not be up to snuff in the long run (tbd). That being said, it works and in my opinion feels better than the smooth texture on the Steam Deck.
Ok like others have mentioned there’s a bit of a rubber smell from these when opening but giving a low review because of that? Personally I didn’t think it was that strong and after airing the parts out by a window for 24 hours it had all but gone.
Application was a little tough, only for the grips though. The parts that stick to the buttons and the analogue sticks was easy enough.
This set does provide a fantastic amount of grip and I feel much more confident whipping out the steam deck on a train or bus now. Not sure how long the grips will last but they feel solid enough. Time will tell.
Very happy with them so far and it provides a nice alternative to buying a bulky case instead. 5*!
You get different size grip pads . Several packs of cleaning wipes that you use before applying the grip pads so they adhere better to the surfacei highly recommend these to people ad the are really good. The stickers come as three sets of two with different sizes. Each set has a cover for two joycons and two sides of the back for the switch.
I have 4 joycons which means I would have 1 set left.
The stickers are OK, but slightly not quite the right size. From the pictures you can see that the home and picture buttons are pretty much the perfect size. However the alignment for the + and – isn’t quite there in comparison. They are perfectly functional, but if you are sensitive to little gaps, this might irritate you.
The stickers have a good tack to them, there shouldn’t be any problem with them moving around.
The stickers are quite thick. We use the joycons have and half attached to the switch, or in a pro-grip. In the official nintendo pro-grip the fit it so tight it has shaved off part of the rubber that pushes the controller from the curve against the sled. This is a minor problem, and could cause issues if put in and out many times.
However, on a cheap pro-grip we purchased, where the joycons were quite lose to begin with (to the extent of almost falling out when pushed), this has made them much better.
Good decals that add an extra grip to the switch. Quality adhesive and nice texture. Fit well and easy to apply
A nice slip on rubber grip set, that creates a but more grip on the rear of the console, where your forefinger rests. Easy to fit and my 10 year old son was a big fan.
This is a 3 set of various sized grips designed for the Nintendo Switch Joycon controllers should you require more strength during a heavy try hard session of Splatoon 3, Mario Kart 8 or Smash bros. They feel good to the touch but I will give fair warning to be careful when applying them as the adhesive is very strong and once on, you will likely destroy them if trying to remove so be mindful and careful when applying them. It comes with wipes both dry and wet to clean the controller before use and a handy screen cleaning cloth for your switch.

Unfortunately smells rather unpleasant just hope it disperses over time, other than that great product does exactly what it should in providing a tactile grip.
Price wise ok, although you can buy an actual case with hand grips for a little bit more, all down to personal preference I suppose.
Theyre quite comfortable and do the job as intended. My only concern is them slipping and exposing the adhesive over time because some of their other controller geared products have been known to do so. If that happens I’ll be here to inform people of it. I use my Deck every day, so I hope they hold up.
2nd purchase: I bought another set recently and this time they worked perfectly and I feel confident they will last. Glue is still stinky but not as bad as the first pair it seems. They also make raised rubber buttons for the R4, R5, L4, and L5 back buttons that I highly recommend for better comfort and look.
The glue has a stong toxic smell that easily transfers to your fingers/hand from just touching the rubber side. The glue is weak and the bumper sections are peeling from the corners. Im not sure how long these will stay on over time. The thumbstick covers fit though. You can buy the thumb covers separately.
I skinned my steam deck, so the cover I had covered the skin. I ended up buying a clear case for the steam deck. The clear case does not have a grip. I purchased these bad boys to put over the clear case. It works like a charm. Texture feels great and still can see my skin thru the clear case. I am happy with my purchase. I used the other pieces for the l4 l5 r1 etc etc as well. Adds a great grip to them as well.
I have sweaty hands and I saw this product on YouTube looked it up and liked the idea where these grips will keep your hands dry and grip your switch lite better. Let me say this product delivers. It was a breeze to install and there is so much grip it’s like I’m holding an entirely new system. The color matches well with my gray switch lite too, and adds some nice design aesthetic. Thanks playvital! I totally recommend if you struggle holding your switch and have sweating palms while playing.
