It’s light and easy to handle. Great attachments. The fitting of the attachments could be better, however.
Very handy when traveling
Curls very well
Easy to use
Instead of using a dryer and a curler just use this one thing. Much more time efficient
I’d make more smaller holes in the curler to make it perfect. Right now if you wrap the hair too tight around it you will be able to see the mark from the hole.
Still a very good product.
So easy to use and leaves hair feeling like I just came home from hairdressers
I used this for my hair everything all rolled into one x
avel bag great. Styling flexibility also great. Not terribly powerful for a quick blast dry
I absolutely love it it all fits nicely in the bag each piece has its own space, you can fit a couple extra things in maybe life a brush! It sets really fast and the rotating is fun just don’t do it to fast or you might lose a chunk of hair!
I bought this particular hot brush because I was going away and I was fed up with just washing my hair, brushing it, and leaving it to dry. Well, the first time I used it I was pleasantly surprised. Because I am growing my hair I expected to struggle a bit, but I used the soft bristle attachment and it styled my hair brilliantly. Really like it. I’m blow dry it every time. But it works brilliantly to freshen my hair in between washes.
Full marks.
Easy to attach the brush tong dryer and vent brush and easy to put away into zip carry case it does each style as says . A little practise is required
I bought it as gift for my wife and she is happy with product.
Bag is perfect for travel bag and organize in house
Very easy to use and style seems to last longer than just using a brush and regular hair dryer. Very pleased with the produc
It was working well until the on off button broke off. This was only used about 10 times before breaking
Was hesitant to buy this but really love it. My hair is smooth after and dries fast. The curl doesnt hold too long but hairspray would obvs fix it. My styling time has been cut in half!
All I can say is WOW can’t say anything bad about this product, it’s fantastic it dries your hair do quickly & looks just like you’ve come out the hairdressers.
Very easy to use, I have fibromyalgia and struggle to use a dryer and hairbrush, this is lighter than my hairdryer, and is easy to style my hai
Love this air styler!
I received this as a belated Christmas present and was eager to give this a try. I used the bigger barrel as I love my hair after going to the hairdressers and hoped I could recreate this.
After a few tries figuring out the rotation, I got the hang of it and am really happy with the results – my hair is shiny and bouncy and looks exactly the same as when I visit the hairdressers. I am excited to use the other attachments and hope to have the same results. I was also amazed with how easy and quick it was to use.
I would recommend this to anyone looking for an air styler with the automatic rotation easy to use after a few tries.
I bought to replace a Remington whose brush kept falling off in use. The fitting is very secure so I was pleased with that. I hadn’t realised it had a rotary action; this needs some practice to use effectively! It does a very efficient job and the result is smooth and straightened hair with the brush. The tong part doesn’t seem effective at all and my attempts at curling did not go well. I would also worry about using the brush tool every time as I think it will be quite harsh on hair. If you hate twirling the brush or have impaired wrist movement I reckon this could be your tool!
My wife is a fan of the Remington range so was pleased to be able to try this out. She’s tried it out with all the attachments and says that whilst there is nothing wrong with the product personally she just didn’t get on with it with her hair. Not bad but not for her.
All my life my mom did my hair and since I moved to another country alone, my hair was a mess every day because I can’t do my hair with a normal hairdryer. I saw this product on an Instagram account and I decided to give it a try, and it met all my expectations.
The only thing is that is not too easy to use as I thought but the good thing there are tutorials on youtube and that really helps. I did a blow dry and in the beginning, I didn’t go too good but after looking at the Remington tutorial on youtube and try and try for 5 minutes I get a way to do it, I try to curl my hair but I still need more practice as it has a trick to do every detail.
I really recommend this product if you don’t know or can’t style your hair in the old way like me, also the quality-price it’s worthy.
Also, before you use it put a heat protector on your hair because it gets warm and if you use it for a long time your hair may get damaged and dry with the time.
This product was presented in a very useful carrying case, but having my hair in a short bob style, found they were far too clumsy to use, so gave them to my grand daughters.
I ordered this for my partner and here is what she had to say about this curler and straightener unit.
It is essentially a 4-in-1 and it’s got the various bits to show it. You start with drying your hair with the pre-styler nozzle. This is quite powerful for what it is and it can even be used on its own to give you that “just out of the shower” look! After that, it’s all in what you want to do!
If you want tight curls, go for the 30mm tong. This captures the hair, rotates it and applies the right amount of heat to create tight curls. The curls stay on for at least half a day, depending on your type of hair, sweat, pollution, air humidity and other external factors of course, like how often do you play with your hair! 🙂
If you want a slight finish or loose curls, go for the 40mm rotating brush. Again, the concept is the same. You work the hair around it and then the curler rotates the hair applying heat to create the nice bob as I like to call it or loose curls. You can experiment with many different styles and depending on the time you leave it on the curler, the quantity of hair you have wrapped around, you can get different results. Remember you have to move the brush away from you as it rotates. By varying the speed of it, I found that you can have differing results in terms of thickness of “curl” and, therefore, durability.
Finally, if you, like me, come out of the shower with slightly frizzled hair, the hair straightener works wonders. I was complimented by at least two different women on the straightness of my hair after having used it and went on a professional meeting. That says a lot in my opinion. And my partner welcomed the change in my look by giving me a compliment! That must count for something.
Overall, a very decent piece of kit and one that can allow you to be creative!
I liked the dryer, it created a good lift at roots. the heat was hot but correct for my super fine thining hair.
unfortunaly the cool setting was a lot more forceful so ruffled what I had achieved.
the tongs were good but my hands not large enough to reach my thumb to the tab to lift the tong arm. also the directional thing caught me a few times by surprise and whizzed up to my crown nearly getting to my skin.
the attachments are too hot to change frequently so you need a heat proof glove.
I have a short bob hair and could only use the cool setting as it was too hot on my head.
The brush is too big for my short hair and rotates really quickly. These are the reasons I returned it.
I don’t think you’d be disappointed if your hair is a bit longer.
Because these allow a range of styles to be achieved, they are really versatile and for that, they are well used here. My daughters have enjoyed fixing their hair in some instances, silly ways, but that just illustrates the things this product can achieve. It is a well made item too and because of that, you feel it has some quality about it. Which it certainly does. The ‘styler’ should be comfortable to use and given the results, it suggests it is. It comes with a case too which is actually specifically made for the product. This is a nice touch and makes taking it somewhere with you (albeit a rare thing these days) would be very easy. A lot to like.
This is a great product. Remington have a good range of products. I have searched for similar products and they aren’t as good as this. The quality of the product is second to none and definitely sign up for the warranty. Remington provide good customer service.
Lovely hair styler, so glad i bought it. I dont normally bother to do much with my hair, i just let it dry! However i wanted to start to do something with it as i had a haircut a while ago. This made it easier to style it with not so much heat as a straightener would do, but i think it is best used with a hair serum first ( at least for me, because my hair can get frizzy) but really good once you get how to use it!
I’m not usually one for fancy hair tools (or writing reviews) but I have very curly, often frizzy, thick hair and I’d seen similar hair tools used by youtube bloggers so had a look around and decided to go for this one (mainly as trusted brand).
I was really skeptical but after a few tries to get it right (you need to play around with the blow out tool as it’s quite sensitive and I had never attempted it before) it worked perfectly and i gave myself a decent blow out! I’m an absolute beginner with hair but I love this and so happy I bought. I’d say the paddle brush is least effective on my hair as my hair is soo frizzy and curly but def smoothes it out. Recommend buying – especially if u are interested in silky blow outs!
I’m really impressed with this “Hot Air Styler” from Remington. The set arrives beautifully presented in its own carrying/storage case and consists of four separate styling tool attachments and one main body with electric cable attached. The four styling attachments are … 40mm hot air soft bristle brush, 30mm hot air tong, paddle brush attachment and the drying concentrator. Each of these tools work superbly.
I have long very thick frizzy (sometimes curly … depending on the weather) hair which is a nightmare to style and has been all my life. Many, many years ago when I was a teenager all of my friends had lovely glossy straight hair and there I was with my frizzy mass, which earned me the nickname of “candy floss” amongst my peers … even now my adult kids call me “Hagrid” of Harry Potter fame (all in good humour).
Anyway I digress … in my youth during the seventies hair styling tools were few and far between and I usually resorted to ironing my hair using an iron and a damp tea towel before I went out. In the last few years I’ve tried various hair straighteners and curling tongs to try and give some purpose to my hair, all to no avail … having a mind of its own it consistently springs back into a frizzy mess.
As you could imagine I was very keen on giving this set of tools a try … and all in all the results were pretty good.
Using the hot air tong I managed to produce a decent head of loose curls that lasted for a good few hours. The combination of using the paddle brush alternating with the drying concentrator produced a fairly smooth sleeker look that also lasted well … it wasn’t perfect and still had a little bit of frizz to it, but compared to my normal fly-away untamed look it at least looked as if I had tried and half succeeded in taming the beast … my kids said I looked less Hagridy … which is praise indeed.
All of the tools fitted onto the barrel well and were easy to interchange with each other. The high wattage of power meant that my hair was dried a good deal quicker than air drying. Something I forgot to mention above … the tong attachment has anti static properties to it and this massively reduced the frizz of my curlier style.
Well pleased.
I have two daughters who have a mix of European and Afro-Caribbean hair: one has slightly wavy, rather thin hair and the other one very curly, thick hair so I thought they or at least one of them would be able to use this styler one way or another.
It turned out that not really.
The styler seems to be more for European hair than anything else. The hair drying end works well for both of them. The soft brush that supposed to add volume works well but in their case, they really do not need more volume. The paddle brush for straightening would probably work on wavy hair but won’t do anything for kinky hair.
It’s really a pity because this is a really great set that comes with generally all possible ends (except for the hair iron/hair tongue). It comes also with a handy storage bag that helps to keep all the bits in one place.
Why 5* – because it is a quality product, not right for the type of hair my girls have but never the less this is a good set that anyone with straight / lightly wavy European hair can use. It also looks really good and would make a great gift.
My Mum loves products like this, so got it for her! She had this to say about it:
“Loved this curl, brush and paddle hairbrush!
The soft hairdryer paddle brush enabled me to dry and straighten my hair. It looked very natural, detangled perfectly and left my hair feeling beautifully soft.
I have very wavy corse hair but was able to style it with lovely bouncy curls, it also gave me a nice shiny sheen to my hair. I was very happy with the result and even got compliments from my family.
There’s two heat settings to suit your hair type. I haven’t managed to burn my hair with either settings yet, so that’s a plus
It comes in a smart and well made case, which is small enough to take away with you on your travels.
Overall this is a great product, reasonably priced and suitable for most ages. Would certainly recommend!”
I quite like this multi use gadget!
Good for travelling as it includes a hair dryer function which is brilliant. I have shoulder long and very fine hair and it’s working absolutely amazingly.
It’s amazing also that this gadget is a straighten as well as a curl your hair!
I haven’t used to curl Option as I wear my hair straightened but I’m very confident that feature works as well as the rest does.
The product is well build and you get a 4 year warranty when you register it online so don’t forget to do so.
I really liked this hair styling set, particularly as a travel accessory. The item comes with 4 attachments, making this a multi functional tool. There is a nozzle for drying hair, which works well despite obviously not being as powerful as a hairdryer; a paddle brush, a straightener and curling barrel. The dryer itself is a wand style unit, and it is really easy to attach the different endings. There is a 2 speed setting, and a cool mode which helps to set the style in place. The lead has a swivel unit, which is handy for moving the styler around, and all function buttons are easy to reach. There is a rotating facility in the head, which is particularly useful when using the Curler barrel – the fact that the hair is being continually moved helps to maintain the style. I was a little concerned at first that the rotating aspect might tangle my hair, but this wasn’t the case. The dryer has an anti-frizz element, which I found worked well, especially for a less powerful product. The styler is supplied with a nice storage bag which holds everything in place, making this the ideal product to pack for a mini break. I have mid length hair which has a slight natural curl and a tendency to frizz, but I was very happy with the results from this styler.
I am always dubious of products that claim to be able to perform two opposite functions effectively. I was therefore concerned that Remington had set their heights too high with a combined product to dry hair whilst also either curling or straightening it.
My hair type: Shoulder length, fine and quite dry/brittle from mid-length to tips – over treated with hair products!
As a hair dryer: The stick comes with a concentrated hair drying attachment which can be attached to take the majority of moisture out of your hair before you tackle the styling elements with damp rather than wet hair. The attachment was effective but no match for a dedicated device such as my much loved GHD hair drier. I would however have no issue of using this product for hair drying when travelling for example.
To create waves: I felt that the dry and style brush attachment dried and styled my hair into loose waves just as effectively as my old BaByliss Big Hair did. It was very effective and I was delighted with the results. I had sort, bouncy and well formed loose waves/large curls and my hair felt well cared for, shiny and not at all dried out. Because you style as you are performing the final drying you are not adding additional heat styling to vulnerable already overdried hair. My hair was left looking quite sleek and not frizzy which I believe is as a result of the ionic conditioning.
To create curls: The curling stick was great, a traditional curing wand which worked wonders on my hair. The airflow system meant that the curls were created much more quickly than when I use traditional tongs thus resulting in less drying heat application for my rather brittle hair.
To straighten: I am very over-reliant on my GHD hair straighteners and this is shown in the poor condition of my hair. Whilst I wouldn’t say this product fully ‘straightened’ my hair in the poker straight way that a pair of GHD straighteners tame my locks it did leave it much more sleek and smooth. You use the paddle brush for this part, I think I actually preferred the look I got using this product to the dead straight straightening iron look, however i struggled with my cowlick and I needed to top up straighten that bit with my normal straighteners.
Overall I am very impressed and I think this will be great to travel with as it effectively does it all.
This curler set is well presented in a sturdy ‘bag’. Mum’s hair has a tendancy to do what it wants to do; but now she can give it some curls and a more interesting look.
This product is a 4-in one multi-function hair curler, straighter, brusher and brusher. The included attachments convert the device to be used for multiple hair styling applications. For storage, the product comes in its own carrying salon style bag that holds all of the accessories for easy storage and travelling and completes the package.
At its core, the device is a wand style hair dryer that is small, lightweight and compact, but it can still push out a lot of heat very quickly. On the unit, it has two heat/speed settings and a cool shot mode switch so the rate of speed and drying can be adjusted easily, just like on most standard hair dryers. On the unit are the multi-directional rotation buttons that are used for rotating the compatible tong and brush attachments for easier hair curling. The power cable has a swivel unit that allows the device to be rotated easily without the cable tangling up and hassle of trying to readjust the dryer to move the power cable out of the way. There is a removable easy clean rear filter/grille on the underside of the hair dryer unit to clean out any clogged dust that can accumulate. It also only uses 800 watts, so it’s more energy efficient than a traditional hair dryer that can use upwards of 1200 watts.
Included in the package are the four styling attachments that change the way the hair dryer operates for different types of hair style. The 30m ceramic coated hot air tong attachment is your traditional hair curler attachment used to create loose curls whilst drying with hot air. The 40m hot air brush is used for creating shape and volume whilst simultaneously drying hair. The barrels of the Hot Air Tong and Hot Air Mixed Bristle Brush are coated with Ceramic and Infused with Anti-Static Tourmaline for less frizz and natural shine. These two attachments work with the rotation buttons on the hairdryer, which make the curling process a lot easier by automatically guiding the user’s hair around the tong/brush. The other two attachments included in the set are used for straight hair styling. The firm paddle brush allows for hot air to blow through the brushes to create smooth styles whilst adding some volume. The drying concentrator attachment basically converts the dryer into a regular hair dryer to prepare very wet hair for styling. All of the attachments use a simple twist locking mechanism to keep them in place on the dryer unit.
Overall, this is a well thought out multifunctional product that can do the job of many different staying tools and attachments whilst remaining lightweight, compact and easy to store and carry. The rotating curling attachments make curling hair a lot easier, but the product can be used for straight styling just as well. It also comes with a three-year warranty as standard, plus an extra 1 year when you register the product online.

Styler comes with 2 heat and speed settings, as well as a removable easy-clean grill.
A drying concentrator, 30mm hot air tong, 40mm hot air soft bristle brush and a paddle brush attachment are all included so that you can achieve loose, bouncy curls with less frizz.
Very easy to use and change the attachments. This 4 in 1 styler saves money and storage space, you don’t need 4 different stylers, just change the attachments and you will get different results depending on the style you want.
Great product, good value, excellent quality and easy to use.
Comes with the nice case for storage or great for travel.
Great product, good value, excellent quality and easy to use, it suits my hair and works really well.
Thanks for reading my review I hope you found it helpful
Firstly, this is a very competitive market area and in my family (near all of which are of mixed race backgrounds) we have tried a large number of those around.
This set compares quite favourably with others in and around the same price rage. Two of my granddaughters tried this and were very pleased (one) and ecstatic (one). They both agreed that the idea of strange in a single bag was great. The rotating was seen as being the best part of the package especially for the granddaughter with the more frizzy hair. She said that1. you must keep the hair from drying out too much and 2. you must keep the hair brushed continuously throughout the styling. The other granddaughter who has more curly hair, says it’s great when used with dry hair as well as wet. With wet hair she found it great for forming long waves.
Overall the results and the views were positive. I just felt that, within the price range, it didn’t quite get to the 5 star rating, but it was very close. Definitely need half star ratings as this deserved a four and a half.
With a brand like Remington, you expect the product to be not just good, but excellent — this doesn’t disappoint in any area, in the slightest.
This Hair styler kit provides attachments for drying and shaping / volumising using the rotating brush, conventional drying and brushing using the paddle brush, and soft curling with the hot air tong. There is also a nozzle only attachment, for normal hairdryer use. A very clever feature is the multi directional rotation (via button) making it easier for changing sides of the head — one of those features that you never knew you needed until you have it (a bit like mobile phones!) This is a very versatile hair styling bit of kit!
Each part of this product looks and feels well-made, no rough casts / shapes / edges etc, just a good solid feel.
Of course, that’s all well and good, but does it do what it says on the tin? Yes — according to my wife, with knobs on. My wife has long thick red hair (a Scots lass), so a good hair drying / styling product is important.
All in all, this is a great product, really good value, and comes with clear well produced instructions, and a really nice case to keep all bits together, and making it ideal for travelling as well. Highly recommended. One thing to note though. A quick search on the Remington website doesn’t seem to provide facility to purchase replacement accessories should you need to in the future. This could (perhaps) be because it is relatively new product, and they may offer that in future? I hope so, because that kind of post-purchase support is important.
This hot air styler is easy to use as the styling tools are attached to the styler. You can use the styler as a dryer without any of the additional tools as it comes with a a nozzle attachment which concentrates the hot air allowing you to dry your hair without using any of the additional attachments. However, you will want to use the attachments, you get a really nice large brush, a rigid brush and a set of tongs. What’s special about the system is the button at the top of the styler, you press down on it and the attachment rotates, you can either keep pressing it for the brush and it will keep rotating or you press down until your hair is wound around the attachment.
It would have been good if they had a small barrelled brush for shorter hair styles. I must also point out that the styler is not as powerful as a hair dryer and the heat is lower/more gentle on your hair. I found it easy to use, even though it is heavier than expected when you pick it up. One last thing, I really like the storage bag, it is roomy, with allocated space for each attachment. The handle on the outside means it’s handy if you want to go on a trip with it. Pricewise I would say 60.00 is a little bit pricey.
