This is a great hair dryer. For the size it’s not heavy at all, and although it’s not unusually quiet, it still makes less noise than my old Babyliss.

It dries my hair in minutes, the diffuser has a good size and it’s easy to use. My hair looks healthy and nice. I’m very happy with the purchase.

I wanted a hairdryer that will be drying fast but also kinder to my hair than just average one so did some research ..
I have long, very fine hair that require washing every 2 days as the top gets greasy (but ends can be dry if not conditioned well) and I used to use Babyliss mid range hairdryer that I thought was slow and was making my hair ends very dry. Well.. with Remington Hydraluxe I feel like it takes actually longer than using my old one! BUT I feel my hair is somewhat.. stronger? I only bought it a month ago and already feel like my hair is silkier and shinier too. So overall I’m happy.
This hairdryer is as laud as my old one ( it doesn’t bother me), it’s quite comfortable to use but bulkier than my old one (again – I’m not that bothered) but it’s definitely more stylish!

Very good for hair but to heavy and uncomfortable for drying your hair.
I keep it only because doesn’t make hair dry like some another dryer but strangling when drying , make my hand painfully .
I’m not sure it’s worth value for price

On a traditional hairdryer I often over heat my hair and scalp as I want my hair to dry faster but that is no longer a problem with this hair dryer.

This was a wonderful present. Never had one like this before. I particularly like the attachment which spreads the heat being blown out more so it dries my hair more evenly.

Easy to hold, not the lightest, but perfectly balanced so you actually don’t feel the weight at all. Well adjusts hot air flow. High quality product.

Best hairdryer I’ve purchased I have thin hair recently had layers mid length style and now can curl hair within minutes so easily and evenly with the settings. Light weight and small to what I’m used to works in half the time.

There’s a lot of like about this hairdryer, with only a couple of cons that are fairly minor. The single best feature is the hydrocare button, which regulates the heat being directed at your hair to avoid damage caused by overheating. I couldnt see how this might work until i used it, I’m not sure whether it is heat or motion sensitive, or a combination of both but the hairdryer seems to know when to blow cool air in to counteract the heat, basically it means you can concentrate on drying a section of hair until it’s dried instead of having to rotate the hairdryer around your head constantly to stop it overheating in parts and burning your head/ causing heat damage to your hair. I love the intuitive nature of this, it takes a lot of hassle out of the drying process for me and noticeably speeds things up.

I also really like how this dries my hair with a lot more volume than usual, and leaves it with a lovely sheen and little frizz, which considering that I regularly highlight my hair is a great result.

Otherwise, this hairdryer has very similar features to most others. It has three heat settings and two speed settings with a cool air button. There are also three styling heads to choose from.

I find this a heavier drier than my old one. It is smaller so all the weight seems to be concentrated in a smaller area and I don’t find it as comfortable. It is also noisy, no sound reduction on my much cheaper older drier which is a pity.

It also has a really long cable which is really useful

My partner is the expert when it comes to all things hair drying as her hair is around 16 inches long. She was very keen to try this as was slightly sceptical about some of the claims that were made in the description. When we on boxed it we were both quite impressed about how well-made the hairdryer felt and also how it was relatively compact for the supposing power. Once plugged in any doubt or swiftly removed as it ran to temperature incredibly quickly but as my partner started using it with purposely wet hair she really couldn’t believe how quickly she seemed to be getting it to dry. It wasn’t just about the amount of air flowing over the hair because she said it felt similar to the GHD hairdryer she already has in terms of volume of air but it just seems to be far more effective at trying quickly that must relate to the digital control technology that is built into the hairdryer itself. You get a few accessories with it including a slim and wide drying nozzle and the diffuser.

I like the fact this also comes with a manufacturer 5 year warranty as it is a very expensive hairdryer, but, based the warranty, it actually seems really reasonable.

I always bleach my hair so I avoid using products that use heat. I actually bleached it recently except I overlapped it on previously lightened hair and it hasn’t been this damaged for years: when it’s wet it’s fragile and takes an hour to dry. So the hydracare and ionic conditioning properties enticed me since I didn’t want to damage my hair too much but I needed a way to dry it when I’m running late.

When I use this it takes 10 minutes for my hair to dry and it becomes fluffy and soft! I tried it on all the settings but I prefer using it on the coolest temperature and swap between strengths (at first I use the lowest setting and once my hair becomes damp I put it on the highest). The condition of my hair obviously affects the results but my old hair dryer dried and frizzed my ends so I wasn’t sure if the Remington will do the same.

I LOVE the colour and design of this! It’s not bulky so it’s light and easy to hold, it’s made from soft materials but it’s not slippery to grip, I have small hands and the handle is an ideal size, the three heads are easy to attach and remove, the cable is thick and a good length so I don’t have to sit near my plug socket.

It’s smaller than the average hair dryer so it’s easy to store in my drawer, yet somehow Remington didn’t reduce the surface area where the air blows out of- not to mention the motor is powerful so it blows air better than most products anyway. The white, grey, and baby blue colours compliment each other perfectly! Don’t get me wrong, of course I care about how effective it is at drying hair but the design and colour is just as important to me.

One flaw is the noise. I don’t know what I expected from something with a powerful motor but it’s just as loud as my old hairdryers. I just figured Remington found a way to reduce it or something since they’re constantly researching ways to improve their product. It’s not a deal breaker since it’s a hair dryer so it’s going to be noisy but it’s frustrating- even the lowest setting is loud so I don’t feel comfortable using this at night in case it wakes people up. In all fairness though my cat can tolerate the noise from a distance if it’s the lowest setting but he freaks out when I turn it up. So it’s not as loud as a hoover.

This arrived in a bespoke branded box with the hairdryer and attachments fitted into a moulded plastic tray with the instructions in the bottom of the box; the tray held everything well and the hairdryer was held in place with a plastic strip easily removed when you take the tray out.

First impressions: everything is well finished to a high quality, the switches all have a nice positive click to them while changing the settings with just about the right resistance to be able to change them without having to look if the setting is in the right position, the attachments are very easy to fit and remove having a rubber seal ring to hold them in place, the whole presentation of the pack is very nice although the instructions are clear and easy to follow I would have expected a more glossy manual to match the quality of everything else although more of an observation than a fault.

My daughters and wife have been using this since it arrived and are very impressed with the simplicity and speed you can change the attachments, my wife particularly liked the diffuser attachment, they found the switches easy to manipulate and change the settings while drying, the hydracare feature works very well and I found it very useful while drying my youngest daughters hair for her. This is quite a heavy hairdryer as you would expect with the power it can deliver, everyone was impressed with how quickly it dried, the attachment system especially, the hydracare feature which works well along with the cool shot, speed and heat selector all working perfectly as they should.

Overall an impressive hairdryer that dries very quickly, has a very easy to use and effective attachment changing system, the hydracare feature works well and helps avoid excessive heat causing damage, it has good adjustment with a positive click and feel to the switches making adjustment easy while drying, I really can’t find fault with it along with my daughters and wife loving it so have given top marks.

This hair dryer comes in a high quality box with every attention made to its aesthetics and its detail. Inside the box I found the hair dryer, two concentrators and a large diffuser. The hair dryer is much heavier than the one we are used to using, but I’m sure in time we will familiarise ourselves with the added weight. It may be a little too heavy to hold over long periods, but fortunately everyone in my house has a fairly short hair style. We were hoping it would be much quieter than our old one, but on the higher setting this still generates some sound. When you overlook the loud noise however, you will find that the hair dryer is a great gadget. it has many settings that will suit any hair type, and it drys the hair well. It doesn’t get too hot, as the safety features ensure it regulates the temperature to prevent damage to the hair. The concentrators snap into place to stop them falling off like our old one, and the entire product feels very high quality, which one would expect with this price tag. Just like the hair curlers, this hair dryer is great and it is built to a high standard. Everyone in my house is a big fan. It’s nice to finally have an upgrade, and we couldn’t have asked for a better one.
