The product isn’t too bad but a bit expensive. I expect much more from the product, i used the other cheapest version of remington and do better job. The mist doesn’t appear at all , I follow the steps but really does work for me. otherwise does the job at low 170 degrees .
I used it a few times and since then my hair looks smooth and shiny. It did not damage my fine hair at all. The only drawback is that you need to keep the styler in a position where the water opening is down. You can keep this position while styling one side but when you move to the other side the opening becomes upward. Just need to make sure you turn the styler which is awkward as I am not ambidexterous.
The Remington steam hair straightener is revolutionary. Truly it has a series of controls to give you the exact temperature for your hair, oh and to top it off it adds steam to the hair so it doesn’t overheat, gives greater shine to the hair because of the steam it emits out. Doesn’t burn the hair (providing the temperature is controlled), straightens hair with one glide of the plates, the water is very little so there’s no wastage. Truly a great product.
I also purchased the Remington hairdryer also, and the combination together after a wash of the hair is amazing. Glad I did a bit of research, to see which one would be the best for my natural hair; its so powerfully engineered and yet gentle on the hair when regulated perfectly.
My wife says it’s the best so far what she used!

I cannot stress enough, how utterly amazing these straighteners are. Over the years, I have owned many brands of hair straighteners; from cheap ones, to higher end ones. These are without a shadow of a doubt the best ones I have ever owned. I have coloured blonde hair, that’s naturally curly/wavy. Left without any kind of love or management, it can best be described as a hay stack. Previously, to attain poker straight shiny hair I would have to blow dry my hair straight and then straighten it. Lots of heat, lots of damage, and time consuming – more often than not, it would get scraped up in a pony tail and forgotten about. With these straighteners, I can let my hair dry naturally, then straighten – it’s poker straight, shiny, soft and done in less than 10 mins. Never had so much free time on my hands!
Good tip – after you fill the tank with water, sit the straighteners with the tank facing downwards to ensure the wick fully absorbs the water – this will mean steam first time every time.
You won’t regret investing in these straighteners!
Great value leaves hairs soft and straigh
I like the mist that reduces damage to the hair. I was expecting it to produce more mist but it was okay. I like the temperature control as well. It was worth paying more than other cheaper ones.
These are good straighteners. I have very thick long hair and it glides through the only complaint I have is sometimes my hair will get cought under the plates and pull. Get hot got a 230 degree heat on them.
I really like these straighteners, they work great with or without steam, they are easy to use and my hair stays straight for at least 3 days, I would definitely recommend them. My only negative is that I feel for the amount of money paid, they could have included a bag/pouch for the straightener to keep.
To enable cool mist to spray out, I found it awkward and quite difficult to ensure that the water inside of the reservoir/tank touches the heating element(also inside of the reservoir) , whist using on hair… Seemed like I was just using a regular straightener (without a mist function) most of the time.
When the mist did spray it did make the straightened hair feel softer though.
