My hair is very straight, very fine and jaw
length and I needed a hot air brush to replace the Remington one that I have had for years and just fell to pieces.
I don’t think I will use the oval brush fitting but, although large, the round brush fitting dried my hair quickly and curved the ends perfectly.
I did try the root lift comb which was handy on my crown for a bit if pre-drying.
I was tempted by the (Prime Day Offer) on the popular Revlon appliance (oval brush) but I definitely prefer a round brush for my hair.
Another plus with this model is removing the attachments make it much easier to pack when travelling because I wouldn’t go anywhere without it! 10/10

Everything about this is amazing. The weight and quality are perfect. The root lift is super effective just slot it upwards into the root area of your hair loosely and let it do it’s thing. The drying time is amazing and no burning your hair! I am amazed my hair is so bouncy and styled all in one without the use of rollers or straighteners. I am a total novice and am in my fifties with hair that is thinning and damaged from continuous dying and lifting of grey unruly hair yet today I feel like a new woman! My grown up daughters are jealous I’ve picked the best tool and now they want this one to replace their own more expensive yet less productive stylers. Only one thing could possibly by improved upon is a rubber band built into the handle to prevent slipping when holding the tool but I just put a hair bobble on the end. I truly hope the manufacturer brings out a range of roller barrels in different sizes to purchase as alternative styling tools to attach for different effects I will be first in line to purchase. :). My hair does not dry out any more. This is an excellent product. the round brush and the barrels are very good but unfortunately the temperature control technology only works with the round brush. The root booster is a bit useless but all in all I am very happy with this hairdrier, my hair looks healthy since I started using it.
Bought for my biracial hair and does the job. Doesn’t get quite as hot as my last one but does get the job done. I have mixed textures and a lot of hair. I like a frizzy-straight style and it gives me that. I like that the there are 2 brushes and they’re easier to clean as you can remove them, which is a big plus.
I am really pleased I decided to try this pro luxe on my hair, I have fine hair but a lot of it, normal drying causes my hair to frizz but this pro luxe is fantastic, no frizz just smooth hair, I have slightly wavy hair and this gives plenty of bounce and body. I won’t be using a regular hairdryer anytime soon .
I was so happy as it works well and then the 4th use it broke. The brush part broke but not at the attachment it separates from the attachment. Really annoyed as its not cheap.
I am a big big fan of this product I love it and cant even describe how happy I am I have it. all my life I had a lot of hair but they was thin and had no volume but this Remington PROluxe You Adaptive Air Styler – Inteligent Hair Dryer simply change my life. Now my hair have a volume after I dry them and this hairdryer is so easy to use. It have 3x Styling Accessories – Small Oval Brush for creating body, 50mm Round Brush for adding shape and bounce and a Root Boost for a big hair look. I especially love root boost its like a miracle for me. Great great product worth the price 100% and I just trow away all my other hairdryers as I only need this one. I recommend this product for everyone.
The Remington PROluxe Adaptive Air Styler is nicely packaged using eco friendly, easily recyclable cardboard which should please the Earth warriors among us. Even the brushes are individually wrapped in paper rather than plastic bags – well done Remington.
The Air Styler works by frequently measuring the temperature of your actual hair (two times per second) and adjusting the heat output on-the-fly – “to keep the hair temperature consistent throughout styling” – which apparently gives best results.
In use the Remington PROluxe Adaptive Air Styler is much easier and quicker than using a blow drier and separate brush. It’s also good to know that the on-board temperature sensor ensures you do not overheat and damage your hair.
Asked what she thought it was worth my partner replied that it would be a very good buy at 50 or under. She thought that at 69.99 it was a little pricey but said she would still buy another at that price should she lose this one and couldn’t get it any cheaper.

I’ve had a couple of these over the years and it is made to help prevent heat damage to hair. The idea of this product is to give salon blow dries at home, within half the time as it is a 2-in-1 dryer and styler.
My hair is very frizzy and curly so I wasn’t sure how it would respond to this item as I previously haven’t had brilliant results with other dryer stylers. I’m pleased to say that it does calm the frizz down somewhat But I am still a bit underwhelmed with it. I think if you have a different type of hair that it would produce better results.
It comes with 3 extra attachments; Small Oval Brush for creating body; 50mm Round Brush for adding shape and bounce and a Root Boost for a big hair look. For the price it is very good value.
Really like this hairdryer brush as it is:
-Good value for money (cheaper than some other brands on the market that I have tested but same quality)
-Reliable brand
-Much easier to use than a hairdryer brush
-Surprisingly gentle on dry hair.
As a tip, if you have curly/dry hair, I would towel dry and thoroughly brush first so it is easier to use.
The radial brushes are good for getting extra volume into straight styles too.
The handle is big and easy to grip whilst styling and intelligent styling means my hair isn’t at risk of being super damaged by fluctuating temperatures. It appears to read the moisture in your hair when you are using the product which I find fascinating.
I always suffer from never having along cord and this has a salon length cord which is handy for reaching the mirror when I’m using it!
It styles well and the style holds all day with the right products and I love the way it’s different on my hair to my friends hair! It really learns your hair type every time you use it!
This tool is easy and simple to use, It’s a little expensive for what it is and I have seen other similar brands with cheaper products but this is a good bit of kit and great quality overall. I’d give 4/5 stars
I love using this on a daily basis – the Remington adaptive hot air styler is honestly one of the best styling product I’ve used in a while, especially when compared to a standard hair dryer.
The Remington hot air styler replaces the need to use a brush and hair dryer as it’s built into one; it allows me to create multiple styles with ease, I can get a salon blow dry at home.
After use, my hair looks shiny and super smooth – I find it super easy to use, the adaptive feature also works really nicely, as the temperature adjusts to the temperature of the hair; minimising over styling and heat damage.
I love how it feels when I use it, it’s comfortable to hold thanks to it’s ergonomic design – I have a lot of hair, often find using a hair dryer and brush bit of a faff, this makes it incredibly simple and easy.
Based on my experience using this product, I would highly recommend it and feel it’s excellent quality!

It comes very nicely packaged and would make a nice gift, particularly coming up to Christmas.
There lots of good things about it but a few negatives too. Its very expensive, currently 69.99 which is more than my dryer and straighteners cost altogether.
The drying time is so much longer than the 5 minutes it takes with a dryer, followed by 5 minutes with my straighteners. Its quite hard to hold though, I definitely would not recommend it for anyone with dexterity issues, or chronic pain in their hands.
On the plus side, its probably a lot better for the hair than straighteners, and doesn’t get as hot, so no more burnt fingers! And my hair gets almost as straight with it as it does with straighteners.
It does the job well, just a little slower than I would like, but then I have thick hair so if you have shorter or thinner hair then it should work fine for you.
Overall I like it, and it does a good job, so I would generally recommend it as long as you have no hand / wrist pain.

10 minutes maximum. That’s how long it takes to finish the drying process on my hair and have it finished off in a silky & largely straight, frizz free finish – from the very first use onwards. The styler is lightweight and the size & shape of the handle is easy to grip and the entire process of drying & styling my hair has been reduced by at least 30 minutes = my hair has been saved from the chop. Not much else to say, other then that I absolutely love this and highly recommend it for people with mid to long hair, especially those who struggle with handling traditional stylers – it’s quick and easy.
The Remington PROluxe is a real nice bit of kit. It arrives in a compact box which is right size then wasting packaging which is nice. The Remington PROluxe brush itself is plastic but it feels well made and does look very smart and slick in the colour. The power cable terminates in a UK plug and is of generous length. It is attached via a swivel mount so means your free to manipulate the device in your hand. Final bit is the mat.
Now in use the intelligent system is good, it does a reasonable job at selecting the right temp without going to hot which is always good to save your hair from excess damage! next up is the attachments. Truth be told the hair root one is the star of the show as many others do not have something similar. The rest of the attachments are however as your expect and work well.
Overall its a nice package , however its the price that gets me truth be told. At 69.99 time of writing, its not cheap per say. There is plenty of similar items on the market for much cheaper, some from Remington themselves bar the root brush. that is the one thing that gets me, otherwise the device is as you expect.

I used the root booster to dry my roots and then the 50mm brush on a pre selected setting of 2 to dry through the length of my hair and add body to the roots.
Yes, it did take longer than a hairdryer to dry my hair. But I loved the ease of just being able to brush, dry and style all at the same time.
This is a quality product; you can feel it straight out of the box. The build is solid, strong and feels a good weight without being heavy or too ‘plasticky’. Good heat transference and lovely results with that worry of having it on too hot. The 50mm round brush adds perfect volume and I found it stayed in for a long time. Difficult to get my head around the ‘intelligent adaptive’ part of this styler. I understand how it works, the description explains very well, sensors detect the heat on your hair and adjust. I really like this idea, really stops you damaging your hair but not sure I can personally detect if its doing its job. Although a friend tried this a few times and said she would normally use her styler on a much higher heat that when she used this, it felt a bit cooler to use and still got amazing results – so it must work. Great to be able to limit damage to your hair with heat. Overall excellent, a bit pricey but sometimes the saying ‘you get what you pay for’ is true, you are paying 69.99 but getting a very good styler with an excellent warranty – 5 years + an extra 1 year if you register!
