Good, well made but I hope the battery last longer than 18months this time, it is my second one. Only gripe is the absurd desing of the charger, sticks out a mile and can be knocked easily (2 pin Euro pin)
This has 5 heads but I know that some with 8 heads need each head to be removed individually for cleaning and its very difficult not to snap a head off the shaving assembly while doing this. It only takes a couple of headshaves to render the headshavers ineffective without a clean, so you need easy access and this shaver is really easy to clean and seems to cut well. Delighted with it.
This was a million times better than my skull shaver that cost way more , I thought paying more was better but I was wrong. I dnt have a sore head after I use this and it’s a nice close shave .
Changed from normal wet shave to this and was NOT unhappy. It takes arounds 3 mins to do a good job on the head but also whisps away shoulder and chest hair, for those irritating patches 🙂
Very impressive, a good cut and very well built. Only downside I’m a little disappointed with how long it lasts after a charge. Other than that is a great little shaver for the money.
It arrived about 30 minutes ago. On a whim I decided to see how well it worked on my head compared to my Wilkinson sword 5 blade usual option. Granted, it didn’t create as many smooth spots. What it did instead was create an equal level of minor bristliness over my whole head, with no missed patches ( unlike the WilkinsonSword option which left the occasional fluffy bit). And all this took about a minute despite MHealth suggesting 2 mins wasn’t accurate and me not using a pre-shave lotion.
To say that I am impressed is an understatement. I have to say that if I were doing an ad in the 70s I would be the bloke who said, ‘I liked it so much, I bought the company’…
I’ve had a few of these type of shavers and I’m not one for writing reviews but this one is the best by far . If you buy cheap you buy twice . Cheap ones pull on your hairs especially if using on your face . This shaver is great , smooth and picks more hair up than the ones with ..ore foils . Also the little flip out clipper is really handy for under nose . I use it on face and head . Brillia
I use this product for cutting my hair,or what iv got left ov it,and this product is really good and does the job,and good value for money.
I used to shave my head with a razor, until I nearly bled out a few weeks ago when I cut myself and thought it was all over…. bit extreme I know… but it was like the scene of a murder. Anyway, I couldn’t continue with trying to finish myself off so I thought I need a wet or dry wireless shaver.
Found this after reading the reviews. And all I can say is wow! Absolutely amazing, battery is great, the build quality is fantastic and I can shave my bonce totally in literally 5 minutes
I’ve been shaving my head for over thirty years now and where has this been all of that time, I’m really happy with this razor and the results it gives not as close as a razor blade but not far off does the facial hair better than any electric razor I’ve owned
Tried other brands over the years . This is best I have used bar none . Even the candy albeit the cheaper version . Easy clean : did my whole head in sixty seconds . Very impressed indeed . Here’s hoping it lasts : does feel sturdy . Comes with normal bathroom charger cable .
Buy won’t regre
Just acquired one of these Remington Baldyman shavers, I did have one of those really expensive ones which was all well and good until all the paint come off, this may not look quite as fancy as that one, it may be basic but it does the job, what more do you want, makes your head as smooth as MILK!!
I must start by saying that I wasn’t completely bald before buying this Remington RX7 Ultimate Electric Head Shaver for Bald Men suitable for Wet & Dry Use with 5 Cutting Heads but, now I am. I recently decided to become a complete baldy after my hairless face started to become bigger and bigger. I checked out several models of head shavers from the cheap versions to ones costing over 100 before choosing the Remmington. I have to say that I am very happy with my purchase. It is very comfortable to hold, It gives a very close shave and the battery lasts ages. I bought it over a month ago, I use it every other day and have charged it three times. I’m still experimenting with wet and dry shaving. I do think wet is slightly better but often, when time is short, a quick dry buz over is sufficient to get my bone-dome looking and feeling smooth again. It comes with a handy travel pouch, brush and USB C charging cable but, no charger which everyone has lying around anyway. My phone charger fulfils this function. I give my razor a good clean after every use and use a drop of clipper oil on the blades to keep them sharp, especially after a wet shave.
I’ve got no complaints and would definitely buy another.
I’ve been using it for 2 years now and the only downside for me is that it is hard to clean the blades, they get dirty and sticky and sometimes they get stuck inside and after a couple of shavings it starts to be not good as first time even though I wash it every time but if you take the time (around 20min ) to dismantle and clean the blades properly it would work but doing it every time is annoying and time consuming
Other than that it cuts close no problem with that but again if the blades are properly clea
This product is great. Like many people, I’d been shaving my head with regular clippers for years. I’d progressively moved down through the guards to using just the metal of the clippers. They were difficult to use, left a load of mess to clean up and didn’t get very close. As such, I could only be bothered with this once a week, leaving me with only a couple of days where my hair was the correct length.
This product has fixed all those issues. It’s so quick, you can fit a shave in whenever you need. I’m happily doing it every few days. It gets close, maybe not wet shave close, but very close. It cleans up in an instant. Just take the head off and rinse under the tap. The battery is great too, I think I’ve only charged it a few times in a couple of months.
I can’t recommend this enough. I haven’t tried the more expensive options or the cheaper ones. However, this seems to do a great job and I think it offers great value for money.
The only slight issue, although this will apply to all these types of products, is neck irritation. I do find if I go over the neck line once too often, it can leave some soreness. Now I’m aware of this, I take my time and don’t press too hard, it’s not as bad as it was.
I don’t write many reviews, but when a product genuinely changes a previously dull and tiresome aspect of your life for the better, you have to take the time.
I’m not really a prolific review writer; I generally write when things are really bad, or as in this case, really good. Bit of background, I’ve shaved my hair since I was a kid – maybe 30 years now; I progressively got shorter, not due to hair loss but because I just prefer short hair. I probably own at least 3 sets of clippers, who all professed to cut super-short – but not as short as I wanted. I finally decided to buy the Philips One Blade Pro, and I’ve been using it for around 2 years – I thought that was as short as I’d get without wet-shaving. I was wrong.
Step forward and take a bow, Remington RX7. I’d seen it online a few times and was put off by some negative comments – mostly the irritation element. I saw it on offer here on Amazon and thought if it didn’t live up to the hype then I’d just send it back. I shaved my head as normal with the One Blade, as I had more than 2 weeks of growth (RX7 says no more than 4 days/2mm). Out of curiosity, I went over my head with the Remington, just to see if it would cut any closer. OMG..! The hair (or stubble) when I opened it up was like I shaved my face for the first time in 2 days; there was loads. First impressions were certainly way beyond expectations. I checked for any redness – nothing.
I’ve now used it every day for 4 days, with zero irritation; not even any redness. It still takes me maybe 4 minutes to shave my head, compared to the advertised 2 minutes, but that could just be because I’m being too careful not to miss any. I haven’t used a mirror to check the back, you can just feel if it’s done or not, without getting any loose hairs on your hand – they’re all caught by the shaver.
Cleaning is easy, pop the front off, empty into the bin and then wash under the tap. Can’t really comment on battery life or charging time yet, but I’m a few days in and it still shows 3 bars out of 4 on the battery indicator. I don’t care how long it takes to charge, it’s not like I’ll be waiting on it.
I have 1 negative – I made the mistake of shaving the back of my neck, directly under my hairline. Unfortunately it ripped my skin to bits, so I won’t be doing that again! It felt like sunburn, ie painful under warm water in the shower and painful when my face moisturiser got on it.
If you’ve done the same purchasing journey as me, in the quest to get completely bald without a wet razor, then this is the holy grail you’ve been looking for. I can’t sing its praises highly enough. Removing the cycle of shaving my hair every couple of weeks is great, and I look like me every day now.
The only time I’ll be using my older clippers from now on is if I allow my hair to grow beyond 2mm. The One Blade will be going on a popular auction site.
This is my second Remington.
The first one lasted four years with weekly use. One of the shaving heads broke so no longer worked. This time I opted for the usb charging model as it’s more convenient than the shaving socket two pin when travelling. Delivers the closest shave of these and much less expensive than the other similar types.
For those who prefer a smooth and clean-shaven head, the Remington RX5 Ultimate Electric Head Shaver stands out as a reliable and effective grooming tool. Designed specifically for bald men, this shaver offers precision, comfort, and convenience, making it a standout choice in the realm of head grooming.
First and foremost, the performance of the Remington RX5 is impressive. Equipped with five cutting elements, including three rotary heads and two additional trimmers, this shaver effortlessly glides over the contours of the scalp, capturing and cutting even the shortest hairs with precision. Whether you’re maintaining a close shave or tidying up your look, the RX5 delivers consistent results without pulling or irritation.
The ergonomic design of the shaver is another highlight. The curved shape fits comfortably in the hand, allowing for easy maneuverability and control during use. Additionally, the rubberized grip provides a secure hold, even when the shaver is wet, making it ideal for use in the shower or with shaving gels and creams.
One of the standout features of the Remington RX5 is its versatility. With both wet and dry capabilities, you have the flexibility to shave on the go or as part of your daily grooming routine. The shaver is fully washable, allowing for quick and easy cleaning under running water, while the included cleaning brush ensures thorough maintenance between uses.
Comfort is a top priority with the Remington RX5. The shaver is equipped with advanced ComfortPivot heads that flex and pivot to maintain close contact with the skin, reducing irritation and discomfort during shaving. This feature is especially beneficial for those with sensitive skin or prone to razor burn.
Another noteworthy aspect of the Remington RX5 is its long-lasting battery life. With up to 60 minutes of cordless runtime on a single charge, you can enjoy multiple shaves without the need for frequent recharging. Plus, the convenient LED battery indicator lets you know when it’s time to recharge, ensuring you’re never caught off guard.
Overall, the Remington RX5 Ultimate Electric Head Shaver for Bald Men is a top-notch grooming tool that delivers on its promises of precision, comfort, and convenience. With its advanced cutting elements, ergonomic design, versatility, and long-lasting battery life, it’s an excellent choice for anyone looking to achieve a smooth and clean-shaven head with minimal effort.
I started my headshaver journey with one of the Oriental knockoffs that proliferate this website; it had 7 heads, the reviews were great, and it was cheaper than the branded shavers…. But my goodness it was just terrible. You had to clean each of the head individually for starters, which made shaving your head extra laborious. The design was flimsy and without boring you with the rest of details I gave up on it after 2 uses.
So after scolding myself for being a complete cheapskate, I flipped a coin between the Skullshaver and the Remington and here’s where I ended up. And I’m not exaggerating when I say that it is night and day better than the imitations. Only 5 razor heads? Not a problem. All the heads are fixed to one removable piece, which makes cleaning and emptying way easier. No stopping midway through a shave to clear out any blockages.
It’s a solid piece of equipment, the battery power is great and my advice is to buy it and don’t even consider the cheap eastern alternatives.
I’m happy with this head-shaver. It feels well-made and hopefully the Remington name will ensure long-term reliability. I have never used any other head-shaver so cannot directly report on how it compares with others, but it does the job it is supposed to. The battery has capacity for several shaves – I have not yet completely run it down (although the manual suggests doing this, one wouldn’t want it stopping half way through a shave!).
Criticisms:
The shaver head is not as curved as I would like.
The flip-out trimmer is pretty poor, but I have a separate trimmer which I use.
The charger has a normal shaver plug, which would mean you would have to charge it in a bathroom unless you buy a plug adaptor.
I like that you can get adaptor leads for only a few pounds which enable you to charge it from a standard USB 5V supply – ideal for travel.
I don’t normally write reviews, but this is an out standing product. It is comfortable and simple to use and gives a great short bald cut. I’ve had no issues with back of neck cuts or rashes, as the instructions say you do not need to press hard. Battery life is good and again you need to read the instructions and do the first two hour charge out of the box to condition the battery. You do not get a charger in the box just the USB charging cable so you can plug into anyone of the dozen USB chargers around your house or even your laptop to charge. Again the instructions are clear to only charge when it gets to one bar on the meter to again enhance battery life. Nice carry case to to drop in bag when away from home. Apparently is fully water proof but not tried that. For the price vs other brands that cost way more this is an excellent buy.
So, I’m newly bald. I have been using razors which was giving me a heat rash. Resolved that by wet shaving and then washing head with freezing cold water.
Started looking at head shavers to save some time. Was considering forking out for The skull shaver, purely as it’s so advertised and expensive. However after watching videos on this and taking a punt knowing it can be returned I can confirm it is FANTASTIC.
Slow circle motions, very light pressure and you’ll get an incredibly close shave and done in half the time. No need for the cold water wash after either, which is super surprising as I have very sensitive skin. If you’re considering buying this, then do so without any further delay. Super impressed. 10/10
Edit1: After 2 months on item no longer turns on. I used it every other day and noticed battery not lasting quite as long until now it won’t turn on at all. Very disappointing
Edit 2: Issue was with the head/blades and not the device. Basically, the device wouldn’t turn on as it went into safe mode, confirmed by turning it on with the head off. Ordered a replacement head (20) and issue was resolved. I will make sure its cleaned regularly and I shave more frequently to avoid any trapped hair in the blades that can cause a repeat of this issue.
This is a good product and it does a good job of giving a close shave. Had it for a 2 months now and been using it everyday. To get the best shave you will need to go over your head a few times and different angles and different ways so it can get all the hair. It is very light and easy in hand. I am happy with this product.
There are few bad points about this, you cannot power it up with the cable and use it at the same time. It will have to be charged then you can use it. Over the last 2 months I have seen the battery deplete a lot more quickly. It was 50 min before but now it dropped down to 30 min. If you shave your head everyday it will need to be charged everyday.
The power adapter is a europen plug. Even though you are buying from UK marker it still has European plug, meaning it will need a converter.
But overall for the price and the quality it is great, does the job and very easy to clean. There is a update to this as well a little more expensive, has 2 modes but does the same Job.
I would recommend this for anyone who wants a cheap one compare to the skull crush ones.
I gave 4 because of the flows mentioned. Otherwise a goof product.
Alas, my mane-like, flowing locks set sail for Valhalla at the ripe old age of 21, I am now 25 and have had a few years experience being bald.
This shaver is by far, without any shadow of a doubt, the best I’ve used. I previously had a foil shaver that would take 15-20 minutes to do my entire head, whereas the Remington does it in just two!! I was initially suspicious of the claim, but after using it to shave my head for the last few weeks, I can confirm it is indeed true.
Cleaning is easy, you just take the head/blade plate off and use the included brush to clean the mechanisms and blades. My only gripe is that on the back of my head, I get a rash after using the shaver but I reckon I can fix this with some shaving cream or shaving foam.
*skip to the asterisk for TL;DR
I’ve been using a trimmer to bring my hair down to 0.5mm approx.
This usually irritated my head and I had to vacuum the debris. No biggie at the time.
I was hesitant to buy this Remington. I recall buying something similar a while back and didn’t get the results I was expecting.
This was cheaper due to Black Friday deals and I felt a bit mischievous with my wallet.
I’ve had a hard lesson of reading manuals. Even if the product is easy and functions with a pinch of common sense.
* Okay enough mumbo jumbo. Stats
Pros:
Design 5/5
Battery longevity 5/5
Results (smooth baby head, tiny stubble) 5/5
Ease of use 5/5
Durability (used it 3 times so far so good)
Con: temporary redness but *not* the devices fault. It’s metal against skin. Not much can be done. Advice is use aloe Vera or something after. Maybe wet hair a tad during use. Mine usually lasts about 30 mins tops with no treatment. Don’t press hard on your head. Seriously.
Yes. I love it. No debris. Quickly emptied in the bin. Smooth results with just rotating the device around my head for a few minutes. Contemplating life choices.
The instructions are important. My take is
– Don’t press hard on scalp.
– Don’t use on hair more than 4 days old ie long (I did before reading that. Was fine but still worth mentioning)
– Empty after a few uses
– Direction doesn’t matter. Just run it over hair.
– It’s not a toy. Not suitable for infants.
Hope this helps.
Having started losing my hair a few years ago, I’ve found myself using a traditional set of hair clippers to keep it short ever since. I was aware of these types of head shavers at the time but never bought into the hype due to lots of negative reviews, and therefore continued with what worked for me. That was until recently, when my curiosity got me having another look which led me to finding this product by a reputable brand. I bit the bullet, made the purchase and after just one shave couldn’t be more happy 🙂 I find this so much easier to use it cuts my hair shorter and does so much quicker and smoother than a traditional head shaver. This has encouraged me to shave daily, particularly because I can do so anywhere (on the couch, in bed if we’re to choose to do so) and because what used to take me 10-15 minutes can now be done in under two minutes – its just super convenient.
LIKES
* Dry & wet shave – I prefer to dry shave and haven’t experienced any stubble rash by doing so.
* Two speeds – normal to turbo with the push of a button.
* Much quieter than my traditional head shaver.
* Super easy to clean by running the detachable blade head under running water.
* Good build, feels and looks like quality.
* Reputable brand.
* 2-year warranty, extended to 3 years if you register online, which is really easy to do.
* Fits very comfortably in your hand.
* Makes for easy maintenance and super quick – If I shave daily I can do my whole head in under two minutes.
* Decent battery life and charges with a USB cable, allowing you to take & use it practically anywhere in the world.
* Value for money – for me personally, I consider this to be worth every penny.
DISLIKES
None.
It’s too soon to comment on the longevity of this shaver, however if the performance and build quality are anything to go by then I expect it will perform for some time to come (if not, the 3-year warranty provides adequate peace of mind).
If like me and you’re thinking about whether to give this head shaver a go, all I can say is go for it! It’s powerful, compact and makes shaving your head quick & effortless. I certainly won’t be using anything else moving forward and highly recommend!
All I can say is the best shaver I’ve ever had, shaved 4 days of growth on my head in less than 1 minute.
Beats all my other shavers by a mile , I recommend this if you want a close shave.
I got this because I get skin reactions to razers. I would normally buzz cut but it’s not the same as a clean shave. This thing has been great for me as it does not cause irritation and its much faster than shaving too for the same shave result. Battery life is good and is comfortable to use and hold.
I’ve been using it for about 6 months now and it’s never let me down. It’s easy to clean and store too.
It is slightly expensive but oh boy it was worth it. Overall amazing product.
This peace is awesome. Literally chop up hair in less than 5mins and I was done. Recommend to anyone anyday. Such a silent noise when in use and super fast charging. Money well spent and pleased. I hope its durable enough.
Been using shaving clippers for years
Just purchased the Remington and Wow !
What a difference closest head shave I’ve ever had & I can use for a face shave..
Quality product at a reasonable price
Highly recommend: 5 star produc
Ive just switched back to the Remington RX5 after “upgrading” to a Pitbull which I’ve since returned.
The Remington outperforms the silver pro in every department. The product feel, power and most importantly the shave are far better at half the cost of the supposed superior product.
Super close head shave. As short (maybe shorter..) than my barber gets with a foil shaver. Very quick. Arrived charged and cut my hair in under 5 mins (about a week’s growth) which after reading the instructions was not advised, but still cut without problems. I shall be using it every 3 days. I don’t think you can physically get a closer cut unless you wet shave with a traditional razor. 0.2mm is close enough for me. No mess or fuss and I like the pop out trimmer for a bit of beard tidying. It’s a great product.
Used it right out of the box, really happy with the closeness of the shave. Closer cut than clippers and alot easier to use. Only issue was my neck. It made it really sore. So next shave I will use a little shaving gel to help with the friction. This should cut out the soreness.
Lasts for many shaves and makes the job much easier than a wet shave. It doesn’t shave right down to skin but leaves a tiny hair length which acts like Velcro and makes removing T-shirts interesting 🙂 Recommended.
Bought this after my skullshaver palm died and I was unable to fix. I find this to be just as easy to use, and at a fraction of the price of the other skullshaver models. The motors are powerful, and blades don’t tug, with the closeness of the shave being good.
The added trimmer is a great feature as well
This is so easy to use and it gives a really good result. It works quickly and glides over the skin evenly and without nicking gives a close shave I would recommend this product without hesitation.
Its pretty good, it does miss the odd hair and don’t shave the back of your neck because it will be sore and red raw after.
But other than that, its grea
Ok first: to do a good job it will take 10 minutes per head not what they say in the advert. Other than that yes it’s a close shave. Easy to hold, the battery life is ok, easy to clean.
Straight out of the box I was able to use this shaver. It is very easy and comfortable to use.
It is also very quick.
I have been using clippers for years and this shaver is far better. Also I am able to have a shave with it as well, though not the best of shaves.
A minus point because it needs a euro adapter which I bought (3.59 TYUI Shaver Adaptor Plug UK Charger Adapter)
You will need some after shave cream or balm. I use Aveeno daily moisturising cream.
There is a pop out sideburn attachment which I immediately decided was to fragile for use.
Overall I really like this head shaver and it does a great job.
This shaver is OK but I didn’t expect to have to go over some places with a either a body shaver or a dry razor to get a completely even shave. Admitedly I used the razor Dry as I have with the three previous 3 head machines I have had in the twenty five ish years I’ve been shaving my head but still at the price I am a little disappointed. To get a completely clean shave I will still stick to foam boiling water and a wet razor this one leaves a slight sandpaper finish which is OK.
This certainly gets the job done. It gives you a clean, close shave. But I find it to be not all that quick (usually 10-15 minutes to be thorough, but I do have a big head) and it really cuts up the back of my neck. I had to avoid lying down or I’d get blood on my pillow and I’d have bright red rashes on my neck the next day. For this reason I’m going to try other shavers before I pass full judgement on this one.
I would probably give it a 3.5/5 rather than a 4 (but can’t do that in Amazon). It works really well in the top of the head, but it is a bit of a pain trying to do around your ears, and for some reason it causes a bit of irritation on the back of the head and neck. I watched a review that mentioned the same, but I can’t work out why. They used the boost for the back of the head, but I didn’t.
I would recommend using it in the shower. I did this for my second use and it didn’t irritated nearly as much.
The battery life is better than I thought. I’ve used it 3 times without charging it so far and I thought I would have to charge before every use.
I like the close cut, but, wether it’s because I have the kind of hair that grows in an unwieldy spiral, or because my machine is not very fast, it takes me about eight minutes to get a clean cut all over my skull. And, I have found that I always use the speed boost to keep it that quick, also I found that because I used a product(Bee-Bald) to help with shaver rash(which I only needed for the first three cuts), I found that it gummed up the shaver(it caused the two end lights of the four charge lights to flash), and I had to soak it in some warm water, so that it would run easily again(I only use a moisturiser, straight after I have shaved my skull, so that there’s no residue left to gum up the works when I shave the next day or the second day), and I wondered if that was the problem which made some people return the shaver?
Overall, I like the machine, even if it doesn’t shave as fast as is claimed, and it doesn’t sound like it’s running at the speed they say it should run, and it seems like it’s a good deal for the money, as long as it doesn’t breakdown too soon(I will update this review later if it does)
For other shavers on the market this one is bang o
First time I’m using a head shaver of this design. So easy and comfortable to hold whilst on my head. No pressure required whatsoever. Just move it over your head and voila, head is shaved super close. So easy to clean as well. Happy.
I bought this head shaver on the strength of the reviews. I use the shaver every two days & I think it’s fantastic. There are four lights that show how much charge is left, and after three weeks only one light has gone off. Cleaning the shaver is very easy, just pull the head off then rinse under the tap, then rinse where the head comes off too. Brilliant Remington head shaver.
I bought this for my partner as a gift. He is delighted with it. I know there are more expensive models on the market but this seems like a great option.
It’s a brilliant shaver. I can’t fault it. I charged the battery before first use like it said in the instruction manual and I’ve been doing my hair almost every day for over 2 weeks and it’s only just needing to be charged now. I’ve used it wet and dry and had really pleasing results with both. The wet shave using shaving foam gives such a smooth shave, it’s almost like using a razor. I would highly recommend this for an easy trouble free shave. It literally takes a minute to do if you keep on top of it.
I usually use a wet shave razor but got sick of the
mess and the time it took this does just the job getting really close to the skin in a quick manner with no mess is a little sharp on neck only complaint great produc
This is a great bit of kit, bought it to replace my previous Remington, the XR1500, which I was very happy with but managed to drop it in the bath and broke it!
I toyed with buying another XR1500 and saving 15 but thought I’d spoil myself. I’m so glad I did, the RX7 is much better and well worth the little extra. It cuts my stubbly head in next to no time, and feels like it cuts closer to my scalp.
I tried other heavily advertised, more expensive models, which I sent back as they were useless, before buying my first Remington and I doubt I’d buy a different brand now.
I’d strongly advise you to buy this if you want a nice shiny bald head.
Had to get the son to make sure I hadnt missed any bits on the back when using a normal electric razor when doing my head.
This does it beautifully, almost as close as a wet shave and tried it on hair that was about 5mm, worked a treat. Easy to clean. Love i
Very easy to use and great battery life. However, it doesn’t do well around the ears/sideburns and gave me pretty bad razor burns on the back of my neck. I now use it down to the bottom of my head and finish neck/ears with a razor.
Was worried about skin irritation as I’m quite sensitive but this shaver was great. No irritation or red marks or blotches what so ever. It was really quick and easy to do my entire head. Nice smooth finish down to skin. Look great and feels great. Would recommend. Only downfall was it came with an EU plug so I had to buy an adapter.
Juggled with which to buy the Expensive Pit Bull skull shaver or the Remington.. so went for the Remington, more to see how I’d get in with a head shaver. Good choice it’s brilliant takes a little longer than 2 mins but the shave is perfect for me and such a close shave. I bought the replacement blades early and alternate between them despite some saying they are bit that great I find no issues whatsoever, on the whole the Remington does what ut says it does ..more than happy with it…
I’ve been thoroughly impressed with this head shaver; I’ve had it for around a month and have used it regularly – ever few days. I’ve only needed to charge it once so the battery life is very good. I previously used cordless hair clippers for many years but I found them to be a little awkward to use/hold when shaving my head. The other reason I decided to switch to a head shaver was that I wanted a closer cut which the hair clippers weren’t able to do. One other pro for using this head shaver over hair clippers is the speed – I can shave my entire head in well under 2 minutes which is much quicker than the clippers could manage. Would highly recommend if you are after the bald head look!
I got this a couple of months ago to replace a cheaper Chinese jobby that was on its way out, straight out the box you could tell the improvement in quality and materials. After using it everyday (sometimes every other if I’m being lazy) I must say in general this is a great bit of kit it’s easy to use and after a bit of adjustment time as the grip is different from my previous one and you can’t hold it between the head and the battery in-between your fingers but actually grip the battery unit it’s really comfy too. It cuts quickly and close and super easy to clean with good battery life I’ve only had to charge it a couple of times. My only issue is the first time I used it I went to do my face and neck like normal but unfortunately it didn’t cut very well and I came out in razor burn all over my neck so now I have to keep my old one just for that, I can’t be too hard on it though as it’s not advertised to be used like that and I appreciate everyone’s skin is different but it just would have been nice to only need one shaver. Would definitely recommend though especially as it’s not that much more than some of the low quality Chinese ones like I had previously.
